Apart from this jump today because of Bter.com, the price is depressingly not going anywhere - actually moving down.

You would think that NXT would gain a momentum by now, that it be proven that it's not a scam and that that would reflect in price, but no - it's not doing anything.

There should be more hype, more demand...

Tell me honestly you don't fell the same way? (put aside todays move)

More than 50% increase since yesterday? I don't see your point...
Wait a couple of days and see how it works out.

What you just said was actually not a part of my point. But go read it again.

But in all honesty, there were AlphaCoin, ByteCoin, CryptoBuck, BuckoCoin, CatCoin, OpposumCoin all waiting in front of the line.

Hey, Bytecoin is a good coin. I was one of the sponsors Smiley

I'm ok in the reward to BTER, just wait a day or two to see how well does the exchange work with NXT

WE NEED MORE EXCHANGES RIGHT NOW.....THIS IS A GOD SEND!

I'm surprised the Exchanges didn't add NXT a long time ago. The fundamentals were there all the time.

But in all honesty, there were AlphaCoin, ByteCoin, CryptoBuck, BuckoCoin, CatCoin, OpposumCoin all waiting in front of the line.

It's nice of FrictionlessCoin to be such a loyal follower of Nxt Smiley

Aye, this guy is awesome. Let's give him some nxts.

Better give them to some grateful non-bashers who don't have NXT yet.
1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 18, 2014, 01:52:05 AM
so I was thinkinkg..:

- we don't have a nice client
- we don't have nice exchanges
- we don't have full source code
- we don't have all functions

What does it mean?

We - all 15.000 Nxt users are pre-beta ORIGINAL STAKEHOLDERS

The Distribution of Nxt is extremely fair - now it is 50 days when we are still in alfa version like in some IPO.

We haven't launched yet. We can forget about some 73 stakeholders... Now everyone has an opportunity to jump on the train... and also to drive him!

Epics words! No one could speak better

NXT is going to be huge  Grin

True. I'm only afraid that some other TGV, maglev, anti-gravity train might come and outpace our steamer.

1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yet another altcoin idea - AmishCoin on: January 17, 2014, 03:13:41 AM

Are you Witness of the money/coin religion?

Here's one more idea -> ShareCoin. The name has an effect so maybe you could make a coin who's name would be a reminder to share.

I don't know if it's wise to code "sharing", because maybe then it would be a "communist coin", but if it's done on a voluntary basis...

It must be you are big heroes who don't respect and who fight against one of the most peaceful religious people.

NXT will hit 0.00013btc each by the announcement of a client that supports AM and assets, I dreamt it Wink

That was a very humble dream. You flew for 3 seconds there.

Well 10 NXT is exactly what you would call a chaser, but let's try it anyways.

Someone (BCNext?, CfB?) needs to step up and unify this project under a single vision.

+10,000.  I would add JeanLuc to this list.  I see us going on for pages about voting.  I see us going on for pages about aliases.  I see us go on for pages about selling NXT for BTC outside Dgex, then CfB saying no more NXT will be sold below 0.001 BTC because Wall Street is coming to look at peer-to-peer exchange.

We don't need features yet, we need plain vanilla user-friendly functionality to hold and transfer coins.  We need a one-click client that Joe Sixpack can install and use.  We need a dead simple API that other exchanges like Cryptsy can easily plug into and get us in the ability to trade with ease.  We need a whitepaper that focuses with laserlike intensity on NXT's (1) PoS forging, (2) mini-blockchain (c) 1 minute transaction time and (d) 10,000+ transaction per second capability promoted as MAJOR SOLUTIONS to the looming disasters that are about to befall Bitcoin over their ludicrous PoW mining arms race, bloated 16GB blockblockchain, sluggish 10 minute transaction time and maximum 7 transaction per second limit.  And we need a stated deadline for when full open source code will be released.

I vote for centralized leadership and vision and effort to get us to that launch point.  A flurry of decentralized service providers working on open source code will take us to the moon from there.

Could not say it better. Especially the middle part.

Can someone describe in detail about payment less than 1 nxt?

Why shy away from all response

I'm getting a feeling that this is some sort of an undesirable question.
1079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 16, 2014, 01:56:19 PM
I really don't want to repeat for the third time, but i'm curious - i'm sure someone else has the same question. And sorry if there's an obvious answer to this - i'm not aware of it.

When will it be possible to send less than 1NXT?
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum: 2nd gen cryptocurrency with contract programming, "dagger" hashing on: January 16, 2014, 01:54:21 PM
This turned to a debate of how to make a coin launch fair ? What is fairness is the first place ? Can money be fair at all ?
After some quick research, it appear that fairness is related to social justice.
Is it the role of cryptocurrency to solve inequity ? Can a cryptocurrency bring social justice ?
Aren't you guys trying to solve the impossible ?
As an investor, you're looking to gain something from your investment, not for it to depreciate.
As the things stand currently - looks like there's a lot of risk that you won't gain.

Yes that's the problem : the more you try to make a coin fair (which is impossible IMO), the less interesting it is for investors.

What we have here is a complicated coin repartition that aim for fairness in the long term.

But it looks "super fair" for the founders.
