1061  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: December 17, 2015, 04:16:06 PM
faucets, it depend, because while there is the need for you to stay there typing all day tedious captcha, and thus can not be considered passive, there are bot that can automatize this process and make it like a passive income

so with a bot faucets are a passive income yes

Some links?

But in faucets it will consume more time and even after spending your time I mean after investing your time in faucet what you get in return ? Very little amount of Bitcoin rather signature campaigns are best way of passive income
1062  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: December 17, 2015, 04:07:32 PM
I think you could try buying one. Months ago people were asking the same when the price was $300 and now it's $100 more. Maybe next month it will be another 50 or 100 up.

Yes it would be a smart move to buy one Bitcoin as a long term investment because now it has crossed $450 mark and may be in January it could reach $550 I wish I could have but one more when it was around $300.
1063  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: December 17, 2015, 04:04:29 PM
Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?

Holding btc is more valuable than gold .
Bitcoin prices can anytime go to top level and easily you can sell or buy it with more comfort and ease than gold.
Also gold is very old and not more appreciated by people now. Modern technology uses modern things.

Of course it is. Bitcoin is just starting up and it is still trying to find its correct price. Gold has already stabilised in price, so you won't earn much if you invest in gold now.

Yes indeed the pace at which Bitcoin's value is increasing is much much more when compared with the value of gold it's just the matter of stability. Risk takers and wanna be achievers will go with Bitcoin while people with narrow mind will go with gold.
Of course it is. Bitcoin is just starting up and it is still trying to find its correct price. Gold has already stabilised in price, so you won't earn much if you invest in gold now.
1064  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: BTC mining in your telephone - yes or no on: December 17, 2015, 03:57:32 PM
Just think - your telephone is always on. If with special BTC miner you can mine some BTC in your telephone - why not ? But the monthly BTC profit can be very low, because telephone can not mine a lot.  Wink

Lol that's an innovative idea at least we could earn some Bitcoin from telephone something is better than nothing, may in future they might come up with something like that.
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: December 17, 2015, 03:52:38 PM
Faucet are quite a good way to earn some free bitcons.Though it is very time consuming, there is a good amount of coins to be made.
Also I would check for some bitcoin related jobs, like taking surveys etc.
in the thread said "how do you earn a lot of free bitcoin"
I'm not sure you make a lot of bitcoin quickly when using the faucet

Yes in faucets it will take ages to earn Bitcoin and time is money but earning Bitcoin for free is really hard, the only way is to invest a little bit initially for long term profit
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the global currency of Earth on: December 17, 2015, 03:48:22 PM
Just because its more expensive than USD, doesn't mean its better.

BTC is barely used anywhere at all. Which makes it alot less 'valuable' in my eyes.

I think this is the point.

The fact that it has more value than dollar does not mean much really. It is all in the names. If we call the 1000 dollar note "one grand", we could say "Grands are better than BTC because they have more value".

However, I hope for Bitcoin to be great too!

Really wise and factual lines as of now Bitcoin might be used rarely that's our assumption there are so many people who are using Bitcoin globally especially in China and USA only thing which bothers me about BTC is the stability

1068  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn Bitcoins fast and free?? on: December 15, 2015, 04:29:11 PM
Fast is difficult, BTC is money and it's not easy to earn money but can be done. You can join a signature campaign or invest some time in faucets and trying to reach a decent amount of BTC.

yeah fast very difficult like gambling. well.. signature campaign fast and free and not really free.

Gambling is not advisable either you win a lot or lose all your money or after winning you get addicted to it and gamble again till you lose all the money but signature campaigns are the best way because along with money you also learn a lot about Bitcoin over there which will be useful for you.
1069  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why did you come to Bitcointalk? on: December 15, 2015, 04:23:54 PM

1070  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1k in january on: December 15, 2015, 04:14:16 PM
I doubt bitcoin will touch $1000 before block halving. $600 is the highest price before block halving.

I feels like Bitcoin is gonna touch anywhere between $700 - $800 mark before halving because there will be more transactions of BTC as more and more people have started using Bitcoin for online shopping. I wish it touches $1000 soon I will trade my BTC if it happens.
1071  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: December 15, 2015, 04:10:04 PM
do not have a target to buy bitcoin, but I buy bitcoin when the price falls. because I bought just to play bitcoin trades Smiley

That's pretty interesting I would suggest you to buy Bitcoin during the end of first quarter of 2016 and the end of second quarter because that's the time when you might get bitcoin for lesser price as per the market review from past few years.
1072  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Soft Fork to Increase the 21M Limit? on: December 15, 2015, 04:06:28 PM
Why the hell would we want to increase the 21M limit?

1 bitcoin is dividable into god knows how many decimals. Scarcity of coins is key otherwise the price would plummet.

I completely agree with your statement and stand by your side because I don't see any value in increasing the limit of Bitcoin beyond 21 million it will just break the Bitcoin market and make it worthless.
1073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: December 15, 2015, 04:01:28 PM
I use blockchain android app and mycelium wallet.
I used blockchain web wallet too.
I tried blocktrail.com web wallet for a while but I stopped because I have no access to my private keys
I do not own a PC or a Laptop so I don't use desktop walleta

Even I use Blockchain android application because it's user friendly and safe one of my friend suggested me Blockchain after using it or long time.
1074  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ten children among 45 civilians killed by Syrian regime strikes-monitoring group on: December 15, 2015, 03:54:38 PM
Its not so much terrorists blending in with civilians, its that the terrorists are actually civilians!

Whatever but people who are getting killed are innocents while the terrorists and terrorist regime are fighting for power everytime innocents are being targeted let it be for ransom or prisoner exchange.
1075  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: December 14, 2015, 08:02:31 PM
I say yes, its indeed a good long term investment due to bitcoin's big potential in the near future. But its not that safe at all. Its still an investment and there is always risks involved. Hope you can afford to lose that 1 BTC if ever.

I agree with you even I say yes go for 1 Bitcoin as an investment for long term it might make you very very rich it's worth taking risk for BTC. Be positive and go for Bitcoin at least one for a long term investment.
1076  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it time to sell? on: December 14, 2015, 07:59:35 PM
yeah i have sold at the price of $440 I was already making enough profit and I do not want to be late to sell if the bitcoin price fell below  back $400

That's very nice. I'm just holding for now. If it does goes back below $400 I might buy.
I would have to see if I can afford it.

I only sell the partially and if it really goes to $400 of course I would buy some bitcoin and hold until back to $500 again Smiley

Or you can wait a little bit longer, I believe in 2016 the price will increase even more so is just better to sell there.
I think it will be aroun 500-800 dollars before the halving comes. 500 dollars is also a good amount to sell so yeah.

Yeah I think Bitcoin will cross $500 in this month itself and 2016 might be the year of Bitcoin but there might be price drop down as well .
1077  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 14, 2015, 07:55:50 PM
better to invest in bitcoin, gold maybe more secure, but bitcoin has more potential to grow

saving money in the bank, will only mean losing them in the long-term with the current high inflation

Exactly. Gold has already reached its peak. Bitcoin has just started has not yet made its mark in the world. Bitcoin is a better investment option.
Gold represents the value of a currency in one's country. Gold has physical value while bitcoin is just numbers! although gold price doesn't bring much profit like bitcoin but bitcoin has more risks in my opinion
Its very simple logic risks give profit if you are not buying bitcoin then you never take profit currently Gold is not good enough for quick profit and bitcoin doing some good achievements just because of this right now investing in this is good and profitable

That's the reality if you profit then you have take risk and honestly for next three weeks it's not even a matter of risk for Bitcoin because it's value has increased a lot but on the other hand gold might not give quick profits like bitcoins but it will be stable
1078  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: December 14, 2015, 07:53:06 PM
Sure did Smiley Just joined a sig campaign yesterday and up 0.004000000BTC  Grin

That's a smart way of earning Bitcoin and that too at this situation it matters a lot because the value of BTC is increasing everyday.
1079  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ban Donald Trump on: December 14, 2015, 07:50:34 PM
Trump for mankind! There's only one Trump  Smiley

Lol really? No mankind will try to ban other mankind from entering into his country and Trump is using these hate speeches as a trump card to get more votes by showing cares about USA but no he don't he only cares about his business
1080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you define "early adopters"? on: December 13, 2015, 07:20:37 PM
I consider early adopters to be 2009-2010 bitcoin users and those who acquired it before the bubble popped. Without a doubt, the implementation of bitcoin will be tedious and a long path but it shall slowly and surely be acquired.  Cheesy

Those early adopters had a great vision because they invested in Bitcoin before its rise keeping in mind that it would either rise or become worthless still they took the risk and invested their money into Bitcoin and it worked out so I would define the early adopters as Masters.
