I agree with you even I say yes go for 1 Bitcoin as an investment for long term it might make you very very rich it's worth taking risk for BTC. Be positive and go for Bitcoin at least one for a long term investment.

many people are predicting bitcoin prices will continue to rise in the future. and I think that's true. all the reasons in the increasingly advanced technology
but the risk will always exist

Yes it is. As long as the bitcoin value is below $500, is a wise investment. If you're going to hold for over a year then yes it is definitely a good investment.
You won't regret it when bitcoin hits $1000 or even higher than that. You'll be happy to sell and either be able to buy more bitcoins when the price drops back down or just enjoy your profits.

Yeah collecting some is also good. I don't know what your plan is, but for me I am just holding some for 5 or 10 years to just wait what will happen to bitcoin, maybe I will get lucky that bitcoins goes too 2.000 dollars.

I believe it is. As you stated it is for the long term. So i guess you want to hold it for a 3-5 year period. There is a very big chance you will have double your moneY (at least).
But you will also be part of this revolution. Telling your grandchildren their grandfather was part of it.

Indeed it is nice. Buying bitcoin will always be worth if you're going to hold for the long term.
Who knows what bicoin will be worth in 20 years. I'm striving for the best.

Ehh, don't know how safe it is, and I don't know if you got great answers here, but I'd do it.  1 bitcoin isn't a whole lot and so your downside is only $460 or so.  If you can afford that without eschewing the basic necessities, go for it.

For holding purposes yes.

And no worries if the price will dip after you bought 1btc at the current price as price,I believen will back again many times at the current range and even surpasses it.

I have not had a plan at the moment, just want to gather as much BTC  before the block halving happen, because I'm sure after that the price will rise
