It is very bad to substitute hate and hatred towards a particular person in an argument with someone. There is no rational argument for social morality in gambling, so gambling if you have money is a purely personal reason for you. When we get together with some friends we gamble even if it is not for the sake of profit and at this moment we criticize all the gains and losses from our gambling. If someone forced you to gamble you would blame him but i don't think that is the case. In that case if someone encourages you to gamble outright you may still be guilty.

I think Manchester United lost that champion mentality where they would want to win everything and I blame Ten Hag for that. He already had 1 and a half seasons with this squad and he couldn't do much with it. As @Ahli38 said, the team morale is very down. Nobody seems happy in that squad. Manchester United has nothing going for them currently. They are out of the Champions League, and currently at the 7th position in the premier league.
I think the cure for the United Squad is to sack Ten Hag and have a new manager who can start rebuilding the squad starting from now. If he starts at the next season, half the season will be gone just rebuilding the squad. Currently this season the team has nothing to lose. A new manager would come and rebuild the squad without any pressure. And Slowly they can regain their champion mentality.

I'm even surprised myself because after when Manchester City scored that second goal, i was actually thinking it was game over, as I thought Manchester City will go ahead to score more goals, however the game Crystal palace were playing anyone could easily suspect that they might come back because they were playing a counter attack pattern right from first half. But making this game 2-2 was really commendable, crystal palace defended and made good effort to fight back till the end of the game, that's why football is one beautiful game, because it's full of surprises.
I'm not surprised at all, after their second goal, they slowed down the pressure which gave crystal palace the opportunity to maximize their counter attacking mode of play. I saw that draw coming from the time crystal palace scored the first goal, like was expecting the second one. Haaland was greatly missed in this match. Alvarez failed to be a good pair to Foden. I would've even preferred Foden played front while Alvarez supported from behind him. Foden has better finishing ability from any angle then Alvarez. Manchester city has maintained their 4th position, their next match determines if they drop to 5th if they fail to win. Kudos to crystal Palace, their hard work payed off. They really did well today. I have to say that those who are gambling at work are people who cant manage their time well. Working time should be used wisely, to focus on the work only but I wont deny that I have done it before because I was so bored with what I do in my office. I realize that it is a mistake and I do not do it again till now to avoid something bad with my career. Better to manage our gambling time, gamble when we have free time only, time when we have nothing to do at all. Time is priceless especially when it comes with our family, job, or relationship.
You can only gamble in your workplace if you have the time to do so, if you work where task is demanding, then you won't even have the spare time to for any other activities during work hours. Although it's morally not proper to use work time for gambling, because you can be so concentrated on the game and neglect your duty. It's better to gamble on our free time, so we can relax better and enjoy the maximum fun of gambling. Besides if your boss catches you gambling during work hours, it could lead to warning, suspension or even sack, so if your work allows you to seat all day and it makes you to be bored, then you can gamble discreetly, but at your own risk. I think that depends on the nature of work you are actually doing and I am very sure that some workers do gamble vigorously at their work place and they do this maybe in their break hours . Your nature of work will make it certain on the previlledge you have to actually gamble because some type of doesn't require such practices at all. The thing be say, them go call you con tell you say somebody for una or a member of your family dey sick seriously and em done rush am go hospital and the doctor say if Una no deposit money first em no go start the operation.
And the way them go call you, tension self go hold you, if you no be person way get mind you fit still collapse instantly (e done happen to me and them say nah my mother but God forbid nah their mama no be my lovely mother).
Op flesh and blood didn't reveal this thread to you AFAIK this came at the right time. I had my own fair share of this scam event gratefully the food Lord salvage me from falling into it based on wisdom. Sometime in August it happened that my mom had to come spend a week in my place, I still recall that faithful day was Saturday when her phone rang and she picked, the next the caller started with a cry that her daughter has had an accident and they rushed her to UPTH and as food Samaritans they have deposited #50k out of #200k the doctor said should be deposited before they can attended to her and that the condition is critical as she's losing more blood with time and can die at any moment. Guess what! My mom screamed and started crying too. Now guess what the scammer said; that he will send my mom the account number so she can do transfer for the remaining deposit of #150k so the doctors can start treatment immediately. I immediately stepped into the phone conversation took the phone from mom spoke to the scammer that what really happened he then explained again, I told him alright we have heard and we will be on our way to the hospital but the scammer still insisted that we transfer the money before coming to the hospital so by the time we might get to the hospital the doctor would have started treating my kids sister. I said okay and ended the call. What I did was to use my own phone and dialed my sister's line her phone rang she picked greeted me and we discussed for a minute and I had to also put the phone on speaker so my mom could hear he voice and calm her mind too contrary to what the scammers had called to tell her. To cut long story short, I called back the scammers and warned them to stop such costly play that they can make someone with high BP die of shock with such devastating news, what the stupid scammer rather did was to abuse me and ended the call when he discovered I have uncovered who they really are. So I later blocked their line. My advise to people out there when you receive similar kinda calls regarding emergencies don't be too quick to react, think outside the box and do your own consultation to verify the truth and how genuine what you're told could be. Pls let beware of scammers they are real in different forms. You are not the only one who have witnessed this, although mine wasn't actually directed at me but to a colleague at my work when I was actually teaching in a secondary school few years back . The scammers actually called my colleagues and made similar gesture just like they did to your mum but her own case was reference to her elder brother daughter sighting that the girl was shot and an operation needs to be carried out immediately and my colleagues being naive and filled with fear actually had to go and borrow about 40k naira from my proprietress and it was quite sad that she later found out that the whole thing was actually a scam. So everyone should just be cautious as these are festive period and scammers are plying everywhere to actually hit their victims. |

Hello guys, I have heard many stories when person was playing casino games, for example person was playing slots and managed to win a huge jackpot, 100 thousand or up to a million but casino didn't give him his winning because they said slot had bugs and they can't give away money because person won through a buggy slots.

Apparently this is a true live event happened in my State this week and almost everyone is talking about it. About a young man that killed himself after a gamble loss, he even left a message for his family and friends before taking his life. But I wonder why should someone take his own life just because he lost #2.5 million to gambling an amount equivalent to just about $3k. I can relate to his loss but taking your life is something unimaginable and unjustifiable to do. No matter the regrets suicide isn't an option to be taking as a solution , you are only leaving bigger pains behind for your loved ones.
