1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs Betting on: April 23, 2017, 10:01:12 PM
We all know betting is better then gambling because you have a certain degree of control. I wonder who of you have gone from gambling to only betting now much did your profits increase and what difference does it make ?

In sport betting I think you can minimize your your lose there while in gambling you can't say it because mostly, gamblers became greed in gambling, though in in betting such sports and dice anyhow you can control your lose unlike in some other gambling games.
You can't control dice, you can't control how match will end, you can't control shit in gambling, i can assure you sport bettors can become very greedy. And please next time don't bump 4 months dead topic with 1 year old quote to write such nonsense.

Hey cool down, i dont know why are you getting so angry with his comment , it is the choice of the users to post on which thread and when , why their are so many similar threads are opened but no one is getting angry , if the user have opened a new thread with same topic would have got angry instead you would have started to post the comment.

You cannot control the users posting rights. If the thread is very old then it should have been locked it by the mods so that no one should repost and start it.

1063  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: April 22, 2017, 06:48:55 PM
As to two-three world countries such Ukraine, bitcoin already turns the instrument of corruption. It is hard to trace bitcoins, politics and clerks for sure choose this way of bribery.

It's easy to trace the bitcoin, if you know the address. That's why they are adopting bitcoin as a legal money in most of the country. If any payment or transaction happening in the concern wallet and if you the address. Its easy traceable and politicians does not want that to happen. They want to hide and make corruption everywhere. Bitcoin will help us to recover from the corrupted society.

You are hero Member and even dont know the simple details about bitcoin that it is non traceable transaction this is why it got so famous and so many dice and other gambling sites are developing so fast. If bitcoin transaction can be traceable then Bitcoin will become worthless
1064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: April 21, 2017, 06:31:05 AM
When I get lost on trading, I wont really care about it very much as I have prepared for it before start trading. No need to think about it further and lets try to recover it with other tradings. Losing in trading should not be a nightmare as long as you are ready to lose, but if you think that you will always get profit on tradind then losing can be the worst nightmare you never seen before.
My personal advice must be, do not try to recover your losses in next day trading itself. When you are treating your losses not similar to nightmare, I believe you can go forward for another round of trading without worrying about recovering your losses.

As long as you are taking light your losses, you could concentrate on your further trading so that you could recover on the same day or in near future. When you will be worrying about your losses, you will accommodate more losses and nothing else.
If you did not try to chase your previous losses , then you seems have no plan in trading.
I mean to manage your bankroll and keep your status in profit while trading is important.
If you trade randomly without clear purpose , i don't think you will ended up happy.

What you are telling is not true , what he was meaning is that if you are going at the back to cover your loss in this process most of the time you will face more loss, so it is better that each day you start as fresh trading, in that way if you see in long term you will see that you are surely in loss. Just remind that which way you had loss so that next time you dont do same mistake next time.
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: if someday the network internet totally dead . on: April 20, 2017, 10:44:13 PM
what if someday when bitcoin has become the main payment instruments in the world. and how when the Internet network paralyzed. it means that we all can not perform various financial transactions? , is there any solution ?
i think this is can not happened because many people so smart to repair about network , they understand about it and they learn it..
so very impossible if network dead Smiley
There are few scenarios that can make that possible to make the network dead. One of the scenario is a war like world war three, if that happen then it will be a chaotic situation for us because a lot of structures will be destroyed and everything can be destroyed by the powerful weapons that the different country have. If this scenario will going to happen then it will be easy for them to make the network die.
hahaa world war three? you're kidding man?
may be you right because if world war three wll going to happen all in the round if die too Smiley
I will hate World War 3 to happen but it is not just a fantasy the possibility is there, just stop and think there have already been two world wars so a third one is not out of the question, in fact back in the day before the first world war, some were predicting that a conflict like no other was on the horizon no one believed them and they were right.

Even if their is world war 3 to happen that will be the deadliest one as even you wont be knowing that you are living in the world war 3 zone as their are so many option of todays war like attacking other network sites and so on that is going on todays war situations.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 17, 2017, 06:33:22 PM

I have no doubt over that! That the Leicester will win the second leg, LFC is a great football team and ATM have no idea what is coming to them when they come to England!
i think not too simple such as that and makes 2 goals for Leicester isn't easy because Atletico have solid defence than Leicester and Atletico also have more experience for europe competitions but everything could be happened and nothing impossible on soccer matches even it will be so difficult

You have not seen last some matches where Atletico Madrid have draw or lost the match against the lower rank team, so i think both team to score is a good bet and Leicester should take the home ground benefit and win the match with good margin
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Noobs thoughts on BTC on: April 17, 2017, 06:29:28 PM
So i was skeptical back in 2013 when btc made their initial splash into the mainstream radar.

You mean you heard about it in 2013. Bitcoins initial big splash happened years before that when two articles, one in Galker and one in slashdot, let everyone know they could buy drugs at Silk Road anonymously online with Bitcoin.

I recently became interested in cryptocurrencies because i was finally able to wrap my head the ideas behind blockchain and now firmly believe it is the future.

I went out and bought some BTC, ETH and LTC

Why? Out of all the investments you could have made you chose crypto? Was it fast bucks, drug money or ideology?

Obviously Japan recognizing BtC as a form of currency is huge but i am wondering which of these cryptocurrencies will be around in 10-20 years time.

Does it matter? You'll most likely have three kids, a mortgage and a wife spending all your cash as fast as she can by then. Worry about today, that's more than most people can handle.

Most holders of these cryptos are in it for purely speculative reasons and in turn, creating large bubbles.

All "holders" are speculating but day traders/forex traders are creating the bubbles.

The only way thes bubbles will resolve is from 3 things that need to happen:

Wrong, these cryptos are playing in the world economy. It's almost infinitely complex. There are a mountain of reasons why bubbles happen. Here's one you might not know about: an exchange operator called Mark Karpeles used two trading bots and created a bubble because he was covering up his incompetence.

-wider usage . Btc needs to be able to be used to be able to purchase anything that traditional fiat is able to. This is obviously a no brainer. Btc needs to be spread out in the hands of more people

Would help but can't guarantee no bubble.

- price needs to stabilize - the fluctuation in price is insane and needs to stabilize, in order for this to happen btc needs further distribution. Hoarders (chinese farmers and early miners) are a negative, see below.

Bubbles are created by traders. I already covered that. Without trading watch cryptos shrink to nothing in short order.

- fiat currency needs to disappear- this is obviously a radical thought but fiat cannot be an option. The reason is, guys like the mysterious satoshi nakamoto, chinese btc farmers, the vinklevoss twins etc or anyone holding a significant amount of btc can literally tank the btc ecosystem by trading out a large sum of btc to lets say us dollars.

Not in your lifetime.

This would create a huge price instability, loss of public trust and then we circle back to square one.

Just wanted to share my thoughts.

I am in as a skeptical long term buyer but did want to address some possible pitfalls to btc

The items you mention aren't a downside or a pitfall. They are a normal aspect of commodity trading. Gold has been traded since forever and still has massive swings in price when trading is heavy. I don't mean this as a jab against you but If you're skeptical and unsure of your decision try something more stable and safe. Try a long term investment like government bonds. If you like the ideology behind Bitcoin stay and don't spend more money than you can afford to lose.

Not sure what you are gettin at, 2013 is when a great majority of people heard about bitcoin.
Im not an idiot and understand it was around since 2009 but BTC did not enter the popular conversation till mainstream outlets wrote into it

Also, i dont think you understand the fundamental concept of what a bubble is.
Lots of speculation and not being used.

Bitcoin and most other cryptos falls under this right now

The great majority of people still don't know what Bitcoin is. Sure they may have heard about it but they don't know what it is. It really became something useful and exploded in use when the Slashdot and Galker articles were released. Silk Road put Bitcoin on the map.

You didn't read everything I wrote. Bitcoin acts as both a currency and a commodity at the same time. You only like the currency part of that equation. Bubbles are normal for commodities and they mean Bitcoin is being used. To say bitcoins are being used for speculation and bitcoins are not being used in the same sentence is an oxymoron.

What you said is correct about bitcoin and its features, Bitcoin has lot of potential  and the main thing is bitcoin is very good as long term investment.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: April 17, 2017, 06:18:10 PM
Talk about La Liga 2016/17 Season here.

2016 Champion: FC Barcelona

-snip

Real Madrid is clearly the winner of 2017 based on users voting on Bitcointalk!

of course, because real madrid is currently better than barcelona. also the distance of the point and still have 1 game. so if madrid can get the victory. the distance of the point will be far enough away.
Real Madrid has great priority, but I think the Clasico will clear everything up, Barcelona have the last chance to get back, they must win the Clasico which is difficult match for sure.

In this game both team to goal will be a good bet as both team have always conceded the goal even with weaker team

Alaves vs Villareal - mostly this game will be under 2.5 goal and both team to score - NO
1069  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: April 17, 2017, 04:59:56 PM
I don't think that there can be any secret in earning money the only thing you need to do is to work hard and find the multiple sources of income but I believe that the best way to earn that amount on weekly basis is through trading altcoins.
If you read the OP he stated that he wants some advice to earn 0.1 btc and about secrets in earnings actually there are some secrets to earn you just have to search it to find out

Even if someone knows the secret on one will  prefer to disclose it hear and will keep it private as no one wants that other should know about their secrets of earning money so if you want to know the secrets then you have to search it on your own.

I agree with you, if someone must have a secret to earn 0.1 BTC per week he or she would not just tell anyone or share it in a forum like this his secret that easily. He might share it with a friend but he should be close with that person to be able to trust him with that secret. Anyways, earning that amount of bitcoin must not be easy if ever this is possible. There are many ways to earn bitcoin but a huge earning like that must have come with big effort and hard work.

For sure no one will disclose their secret of earning bitcoins as if I have any method to double my coins in quick time then I will definitely like to keep it secret as no one wants that others should get benefits from their methods of earnings.

That is not right it is upto the user who takes which advice is correct and which one he can use and benefit from it, their are so many of them who are telling the way of earning through trading and giving ideas of how to earn it but it is upto the users who how takes the ideas and work on it.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: April 17, 2017, 04:37:40 PM
Altcoins will get pumped but there sure is a limit. All the present altcoins don't have the lightning network that we need so all the present altcoins doesn't have a chance against bitcoins. I'm thinking, though, if a coin with a lightning network would really kill bitcoins because bitcoins can surely adopt the technology unless the coin developer didn't release a clue on how they did it or the bitcoin technology isn't compatible with this new technology.

I'm thinking that if someone ever released a coin with a lightning network, all the other coins will just copy the same thing and the competition will be gone once again. Bitcoin will still prevail if that happens.

Their are so many altcoins whose network has lightning speed but even then they are not success, the main reason of the success of bitcoin is it is not controlled by any one but altcoin are controlled by the developer and when ever they want they can change or do anything to coin. This is the main reason of the altcoin not getting success
1071  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Shapeshift.io possible Scam Alert! Read my story. on: April 17, 2017, 11:55:08 AM
Unless you traded thousands of dollars, I don't think they scammed honestly because they are reputable company but like every other company, they have their issues. I suggest continuing sending support tickets and posting here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717973.560 . It's very likely that you will get an answer in the thread as OP look active there.

I dont think that for scaming anyone need to do thousands of trade , even $1600 is also big amount for some of them, I think wating for 2 more days is not a problem if you dont get reply then you can contact DT members and get help from them
1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: April 17, 2017, 11:39:51 AM
I have a question for you. How to make governments accept bitcoin and not see it as a threat? So that one could use bitcoin in daily use, such as paying taxes or grocery shopping. What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?
Governments mainly fear bitcoin for its anonymity. They think that illegal activities will be carried out more using bitcoins. But they all know that bitcoin couldnot be banned since internet could not be banned. So, one day or the other, they would start accepting bitcoins by regulating it just like China and Russia.
yes that can be the reason, but to me i think the only why through which we can compel government to accept bitcoin is that the number of bitcoin users increases more and more and through this way government will compel to take serious action about bitcoin.
Yes if the bitcoin users increase all over the world and fiat currency transaction reduced means automatically the govt will take action on this bitcoin. till that the govt will don't care for this BTC transaction. In my country, i think less than 10% people know about bitcoin. In this situation how can we demand govt to accept Bitcoin as legal currency am I right?
We just need more and more users of bitcoin and after that we can show to the government that bitcoin is a serious currency and they will notice it and they will start to discuss if they will accept bitcoin to their country and start using it just what like the Japan did on bitcoin they already accept it because they see future with it.

Whatever efforts you make but if the Government is corrupt then they will never support bitcoins and never entertain it as it will stop all their corrupted activities and they will never be interested in seeing that their national currency is replaced by digital currency.

What you said is the true fact of the current situation of every country, the government wants to control the economy of the country so they wont allow bitcoin to flourish in their country as they cannot control bitcoin and its transactions.
1073  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is developing your own Wallet safer? on: April 17, 2017, 11:29:34 AM
Developing your own wallet is not a bad idea until you are not strong on the security side if not anyone can hack your wallet and steal your coins. So it is upto you that how much good you are developing your wallet
1074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: April 17, 2017, 11:28:16 AM
Daily use of bitcoins is limited only to online world at a moment as I am using it daily on trading and gambling sites to make profits and I don't find any offline place to spend them so I am saving rest of coins for future and spending fiat for buying things.

Its good not to spend them for shopping as that we can easily to with fiat and cards and instead try to save your bitcoins for future as the price will go much higher in coming years and I think that would be the best time to use them to gain higher profits.

What you are telling is good for those who are earning day job and what ever they are earning in bitcoin that they can save it for future profit. But who are earning only through bitcoin they dont have spare to save it ya but they can try to save at least 10% of their earning so that in future they can get more if any emergency of expense occurs.
1075  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: April 15, 2017, 03:26:12 AM
I'm not sure, bitcoin will not be able to replace the dollar as a currency. Moreover, the dollar is used in nearly all countries in the world. While bitcoin, in some countries rejected ..

Yes. You are right, the governments of some countries are very hostile to bitcoins. But I want to believe that they will change their attitude to the cryptocurrency. But the fact that bitcoin will replace the dollar is still too early to say
i think that it is also a good news that the government is now changing their attitude about bitcoin, they have now start thinking about bitcoin how to turn bitcoin as legal currency and hope that very soon we are going to hear the new about the news that government have consider bitcoin as legal currency of the world and now people can use bitcoin as legal currency.

Even with the positive view of other country to bitcoin, it will never replace  dollar anytime soon. Even the etf were not approved by SEC, what more being an official currency of one country.  Bitcoin is always best being an alternative currency to USD.

Well, you are right about that. I mean, people already use dollar currency since long time ago and bitcoin is not popular as dollar. I think it's hard for bitcoin to replace dollar, people need to know what and how is bitcoin works to get accepted by people and bitcoin don't have a physical unit like paper or coin.

It is not just hard but impossible to happen. Within its lifetime bitcoin could not replace dollars or any of the fiat currency. The basic reason is that the government will not allow it since bitcoin is out of their control and the second is that even if they will adopt bitcoins the total number of bitcoins in the circulation cannot cope up with the actual number of fiat currency in the entire world in circulation.

Nothing is imposible , it is also the true fact that the circulation of bitcoin is less so it will be hard to replace the fiat currency. But no one is thinking that the main object of Bitcoin is that it is the online currency and in the coming time everything will be done online like now itself 50% of lot of work is done online so bitcoin has lot of potential for online business. fiat currency will exist because we all need lot of option in life that is why fiat currency will be in our life
1076  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are signature campaigns really working for gambling sites? on: April 15, 2017, 03:17:50 AM
I really wonder this. I never clicked a signature ad and am wondering if it works for gambling sites. I need to be enlightened in this topic, because it looks like a waste of money to me.
Believe me, they are working just fine, even better than some people might expect.

You don't need to click every signature. It is enough that you see them, that way you'll learn name of the service sig is promoting.
From my experience I can tell you: I discussed many times new or interesting service I found via signatures.
I learned about many casinos, promotions, ICO project or services that way. The mere fact that they are around is enough.

Yeah, people tend to remember the product or service they see in the ads that makes them subconsciously choose that product for their own use. Come to think of it, I used a lot of services I have seen here on the forum just because I see them on people's signatures and avatar.

That is the power of Advertisement because people buy that product only which they are seeing around them as no one remembers everything. If it was not worthy then signature campaign wont be the main object of earning in this forum. In my sense the main success of this forum's one reason is signature campaign, that is why lot of users are joining it to earn while learning about crypto currency
1077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60,000 Unconfirmed transaction and counting on: April 14, 2017, 10:08:19 PM
This is why bitcoin won't ever handle as many transactions as VISA...Eth is way faster

This is not a big problem it is just false spam attack created  by the coders so that bitcoin network and miners get pressure to implement segwit or other solution. which is not needed
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 14, 2017, 04:21:23 PM
Just witnessed one of the greatest come back in IPL history,Mumbai restricted Bangalore for just 142 runs and then they lost four wickets for under ten runs and then they made a good partnership with Pollard score the bulk of the runs and winning the match with seven balls remaining ,it was an extremely good performance.

This is not greatest one , last time with same team when the target was 172 and they were 55/5 down that time also pollard saved them and won the match for them, Samuel Badree hat trick did not got them to win it, RCB are always the same only big names but totally weak with bowling.

Two two hattrick witnessed, now in second match andrew tye took hattrick in last over, pune scored 171/8 totally collapsing in last over, i think this score will be defended if they take wicket of maccullam and raina very soon.
1079  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: April 14, 2017, 03:09:01 PM
I deal with loss I think it as a challenge and I think just positive always in everything came in. Like in trading I make sure to it that Ive done the right thing but in case I have loss I take it as a challenge and move forward. A lesson that needs to remember and ofcourse needs not to put investment in one basket.
Honestly dealing with losses must require some mature mentality like treating it as an opportunity to learn and not to repeat the same mistake of losses.

When traders failing to learn some lessons from their losses, they will keep on repeating same mistakes and finding profits from trading will never be possible for such kind of traders. Traders should always look for continuous learning and losses are always coming up with the lesson to trader to make them professionals.

This are the golden rules which almost all the regular traders are knowing it, it is only the new traders have to  follow to become professional trader. Even in dealing with sports gambling also you have to use the same rule of what mistake you have done due to that you got loss so that you should not repeat it.
