1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie's guide to avoid ICO Scam on: October 02, 2020, 05:55:05 PM
It’s that last point for me: this thing of scammers using the face of famous people and pretending that they are part of the project is a very serious issue in this cryptocurrency space and I don’t know why people keep believing anything they see without going to the right source to verify whether it’s true.

If you see a project after checking their team you need to go to the social media of the people that were mentioned and team and check their posts to see if they have posted anything in relation to the ICO you’re about to invest. If you don’t see any post, you can ask question to know if they are part of the team.
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Cryptospace is getting Worst on: October 02, 2020, 05:08:36 PM
Well, it’s good that you decided to do your own little research before you made a decision as to whether you should be trading the coin or not. That other people are not doing their own research before investing in any project doesn’t mean that you too should be doing the same, it’s important that you’re very careful and not go with the crowd, but only with things that believe are going to be good for you.

A lot of people here are no longer interested to know if it’s legit, they just want to rush in and buy when there is an opportunity to make lots of money and cash out. They are forgetting that scammers can lay trap in any way, and there are projects that seems good and once they have gotten a lot of people in, they will play their games on them.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is UniSwap the most powerful in the Defi market? on: October 02, 2020, 04:26:39 PM
I don’t look much into these DeFi, but this UniSwap is always capturing my attention almost everywhere I go in the forum and whenever DeFi is being talked about. Before it used to be YFI that so many people were talking about and then UniSwap came out from nowhere like a wave and swept every other from their feet and is now the trend.

So, it might definitely be the biggest and powerful there is right now. And apart from the part you have mentioned, the project has also broken records with its airdrop, they are just on a full rage with this project, and I hope that they keep that same energy as time goes on.
1064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If all BTC Gets Bought Up? on: October 01, 2020, 04:12:10 PM
I just don’t understand the kind of joy that some of you get from asking questions like this when you are completely aware that such is never going to happen. Are you forgetting that there are lots of people that are into cryptocurrency? Like millions of people are making use of cryptocurrency around the world and people are buying and selling their coins everyday.

How exactly will a whale buy up every Bitcoin? Even if they should manage somehow to buy up newly mined coins from miners, can they buy the ones that are already circulating the space? That’s in no way possible, but let’s just imagine they do, I will be very happy because the price of my coins will pump and I will dump them on that whale.
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin and bitcoin high transaction fees on: October 01, 2020, 01:50:26 PM
What you have said here is no lie, you’re right, in some situations Bitcoin might not be the right choice. But, there are also times that it is better to make use of bitcoin.

I can even count how many times I have used Bitcoin when it’s a transaction that I’m doing to someone in my country, that’s because I rarely make use of Bitcoin for local transactions. When it comes to international transactions, believe me when I say that all the international transactions I have made since 2015 that I got to know about Bitcoin has only been Bitcoin and no other method.
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: btc transaction fee is way too much and btc transactions are way too slow on: September 29, 2020, 08:21:07 PM
Same thing as you, I make use of bank online whenever I’m sending money within my country. But trust me, when it comes to international transactions, bank is no where near to Bitcoin when it comes to fees, because banks are charging way more for transactions that are international and the most annoying part of it is that some of the methods you have available in banks take days, and the process that follows are usually stressing and annoying.

When you make use of Bitcoin for international transactions it’s much better. I have worked with people who are in other countries and I tell them to pay me with Bitcoin and the process is always fast; just my address and I get the money that same minute and then exchange it with a local exchanger that pays the amount into my bank account in few minutes.
1067  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $500 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! Advanced Dice Game🎲 2.000 Bets /s ⚡ on: September 29, 2020, 07:47:25 PM
I have been gambling here for a long time and I can tell you that not even once I got my active session closed because of a refresh, never got an unwanted refresh neither, if I want to refresh the page I have to do it myself, there is no automatic refresh here at all. Are you sure that it happens to you and all your affiliates? Maybe it is just you? If you check which browser you are using and the extensions as well maybe you can find the problem there? Browsers sometimes do go wobbly like that. Normally wolf.bet has absolutely no code in it that makes you refresh time to time, so technologically speaking it is impossible for them to do something like that.

So, I would say talk with your affiliates if you insist they have the same problem as well and make sure you are not using anything else that makes you refresh.
1068  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lamborghini Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: September 29, 2020, 07:11:34 PM
Don't you think Turkish league should also be in the leagues section for soccer? I mean we are talking about a sport that has over 50 million fans in turkey that sends few teams to europa and champions league every single year, there is a HUGE derby going on today and I have been trying to locate it without using search function and failed. Interesting found Bandirma and Umraniye game yet I couldn't find galatasaray vs fenerbahce there. Obviously when I used search function it came up, which is barely visible if we have to search for it, it should be a bit more important than some stoke game but if you really insist on not giving proper attention to these games, that is your lost not mine. I would suggest taking a good look at which leagues are there and which ones are not.
1069  Economy / Speculation / Re: Federal Reserve Now Targets Inflation Above 2%, Bitcoin Breaks $11K on: September 29, 2020, 06:38:44 PM
The funny thing is, when federal reserve's talk about 2% inflation we see this as a bad thing, I just saw a meme on reddit about how people who go crazy about 2% inflation as a very bad thing but willing to pay tens of thousands on a defi that is untested and totally unreliable.

If someone told you to put 10k on uniswap or polkadot or whatever on early days you would do that in a heartbeat (there has been thousands who did) but when there is only a 2% inflation you go crazy about it. Hell there are coins that promise 10000% of your investment per year in coin form, and you see that as a great thing to get early, but somehow regular finances are bad. There are tons of things that are horrible in fiat world but this is not one of them, 2% inflation is not as bad as you think it is.
1070  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price are decreasing? on: September 28, 2020, 08:44:15 PM
I know that there is no way that we could ever go down under $10k when buy pressure is so strong, but I also think that sell pressure could increase up and when that happens buy pressure will not look this good. So I am not certain, it looks like its stagnating a bit, it is not going anywhere, I am certain that we are not going to see too much of a problem with the fall even if it happens because people are more optimistic about the future, but right now I just don't know.

Maybe if we could just check to see what whales are thinking, if we could learn that it would be a bigger deal, at least we would know what bitcoin wealthy are considering, but unfortunately they do not come out and just say what they will do, so we can never know.
1071  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading platform on: September 28, 2020, 08:14:23 PM
The question is you "want to learn which decentralized trading platform is better than cryptocurrency trading platform or decentralized trading platform" I mean the question in itself is wrong already, there is really nothing to answer. How could a decentralized trading platform be better than decentralized trading platform, they are literally same words there, they are the same thing, there is no better than itself thing out there? You already named the decentralized trading platforms that are good, binance Dex is pretty good, go with that? I mean you can't just expect people to understand the question when you ask for the same thing. You basically said "A has B and C, X also has Y and Z so which X is better than A or X?" Which makes no sense as you can see from that analogy.
1072  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have Good advice for investors on: September 28, 2020, 07:18:53 PM
There is a huge difference between losing a bit and losing a lot. Most of the time if you are a very newbie investor and you lose big on your first try you will leave, not everyone leaves of course, I lost big on my first but I recovered it later over course of years, but at the same time if you are newbie you could definitely leave as well and nobody could say anything.

However, if you are new and you lost only a bit, not too much but just like 5% for example, you could totally recover from that, because even newbies knows that 5% loss is nothing and it could happen to anyone. Obviously we are going to suggest all newbies to have a stop loss, that way they could never lose too big and they will try to stay in the market as long as they could to make that back.
1073  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best trading platform for beginners? on: September 28, 2020, 06:45:11 PM
For a "newbie" I could totally suggest the test places, doesn't matter which one since you are not really spending any money but if you could go to test exchange places and they will give you some fake money, like "here is 10 thousand dollars" or whatever and they will tell you to go and make trades with that, obviously you will buy and sell there with fake money but the price changes of the coins will be the real deal, so if bitcoin in real life goes from $10k to $11k you will see it changed in the test exchange as well.
These days lots of platforms started accommodating traders in demo mode like how gambling houses are doing the same for years. Probably the number of exchanges which are providing  demo mode is very less in crypto space but all forex+crypto exchanges are always coming up with demo mode. For beginners demo accounts are always handy whereas I guess this topic is not just about practicing but about experiencing the real heat of market for relatively new traders. So, only demo mode suggestion will not meet the goal of this topic.
When you get into the "zone" and you know what you are doing, basically it becomes like a muscle memory thing. Every morning you wake up and do the same thing and basically get better at it as well and that is how you spend few hours, after that every few times you check what you check and until night you see what you checked could require action or not and that is how it goes.

Everyone has their own obviously and not all the same but I honestly think that there is really not that much you can do to get it into a habit more than that. Obviously if you are not a full time trader you change it to what you do after you get home from work instead of what you do when you wake up, but there isn't really too much change in the mindset, just the time periods of what you do.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less Volatile Coins on: September 28, 2020, 05:23:55 PM
Go invest into USDT if you do not want any volatility. Crypto is volatile and people are aware of this, they have always been aware of this and I do not think that anyone can deny the fact that when you get involved, that is one of the first things you find out about all crypto currencies.

If you do not want volatility, go invest into gold, there are few moments in golds history that made it volatile but 99.99% of the time gold is very dormant and you can basically buy and forget and in 50 years it will be very very high compared to fiat you are using.

If you want a bit more volatile than gold go buy stocks, specially trustworthy good old stocks, like banks or google or whatever, they will go up and down time to time but they will never be bankrupting that easily, unlike some small coins that go under 1 cent. Crypto is volatile, if you want to be here, you have to accept it.
1075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Top 10 DeFi Tokens on coinmarketcap in Loss on: September 27, 2020, 06:42:36 PM
There is ssoooooooo many of them, I do not understand how the idea strike as top ranked. Sure every one of them put a little twist at the end there or whatever but all of them do the same exact thing over and over again with a different color ribbon at the top of it. Believe me when I say this, hot or not right now, this will go to garbage can one day as well, the idea is dime a dozen and nothing new there, it is simple as well and there is really nothing that makes it shine brighter than the other ones neither.

So, at the end of the day if you can stay away from it aside from.. maybe using it? You should definitely do that, defi projects these days look like they could very well be scammers as well, get all of your money and run with it, doesn't really look impossible if they are cheaters.
1076  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rise Due to Lower US Dollar? on: September 27, 2020, 06:02:40 PM
Quote
gold is still preferable to bitcoin if that happens.

I watch gold every day so right now it is suffering, its a long term asset not short term perfect protection and little people on the street will want something a little more liquid.   Its going to take a bit of skill to play gold and the spreads will kill most people jumping in and out of it.   Nothing wrong with mixing the two as they do different things and imo gold appreciates on a decade long stride.

So just observing dollar index today, its a slight fall but only within wednesday pricing which is minor.   I think we're probably more stable till monday even tuesday.

Gold is still suffering less than silver. People who bought it could have done worse.

The real winners are always those who sell gold or silver like Peter Schiff and make money on small margins. For this reason buying into gold hype when markets were hit by covid news was a bad idea despite all the schilling Peter did at that time.

I think that the biggest factor is not the price of USD but the S&P500. If stocks go up this year Bitcoin will follow.
Gold is not good because of short or quick profits, it is not actually even for profits, it is there because when one nation loses its fiats value, other nations are still giving around the same value to gold, it is a global thing, so that nation that had devaluation will suddenly have gold so much more high. It is not a worldwide investment to make forever, it is a prevention of losing your wealth.

If you have all your investments in gold, your nation can suddenly become like Venezuela but since you have gold, you can go to USA or wherever and sell all your gold and still would be rich, nobody can stop you from doing that. This is why people call bitcoin digital gold as well, your nation can be good or bad but bitcoin is global so your nations movements wouldn't affect it.
Gold is a bit better not because price movements but because of volatility, gold may have some volatile days but mostly it is a dormant investment, and it is historically tied to value of fiat which means if the stock market goes down or fiat devalues gold prices will skyrocket. Look at bitcoin during the same time, it did moved WITH and not against them so it is not really that good of an investment.

Gold is great for bad days, if you think bad days are waiting for us ahead you should have gold, but bitcoin is good for good days, if you think future is brighter you should get bitcoin because it moves up faster than anything else. So, they are both the same but also very different, you should make that decision depending on what you believe will happen in the future.
1077  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction 2020 on: September 27, 2020, 05:11:28 PM
It's true that Bitcoin is performing great not only in the stock market but also aiming institutional adoption, that may draw investors attention but don't forget that bitcoin was passing with Covid-19 epidemic in this year. so it need time to get stable and touch that kind of high volume. But i would happy if bitcoin really get double of its price within available 3 months duration
Yeah, I believe that bitcoin price at around 14k by end of 2020 makes super sense, it is realistic and it is not as bad as some other people who claim it will fall because I do not see any reason why it would fall right now and the increases can't be too much since there is really no reason why it would be too much neither, all in all a bit more with the current situation of fiat getting less valuable, 14k or close to that is realistic, anything between 12k and 17 is realistic in my mind. Same with ethereum,  I believe it will go up a bit, around 500 to 600 is realistic, max I see going is around 700 and I do not think it will go any higher even with 2.0, however with this new improvement I do not see it going any lower neither, that would be hard when everything is going so great for it.
1078  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reach to $100K ? on: September 26, 2020, 07:19:40 PM
I would say that there are many other options where bitcoin could change for the better, however at the end of the day if we are talking about bitcoin actually going up, it could be ANY reason that causes it to go up but the method will be people buying more than they sell, so we have to focus on that if we want to create a formula to see what would really make it work.

For example, why could cause people to buy more bitcoins than right now? They are buying currently, but they need to buy a whole lot more to make it 100k, so what could cause that? Plus they should sell less as well, depends on how much they buy of course, if there are x10 more buys, even x2 more sell means the price still goes up, but preferably there should be less sell in the market as well, what could cause that?
1079  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What actually makes a token pump? on: September 26, 2020, 06:39:06 PM
I'm starting with DIA. It is listed on top exchanges, has good partnership, the team isn't relenting and its price still drops drastically. So, I put up the question to learn with the trend on what actually thrives the price of a token/coin?
I don’t think it’s just one thing that makes the price of a token to increase, there are lots of things that will actually contribute to that. Not aware of the token you’re talking about, but new tokens tends to go down after they are launched, kind of like a correction.

The early investors are fond of emptying their bags once the token goes live, and that will cause the market price to drop drastically, despite that they have a really good team. It’s then up to the team to continue with their hard work and promote the token and make it climb back up again, and that’s not going to happen in a day , it will take time.
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less Volatile Coins on: September 26, 2020, 06:02:32 PM
I am a newbie on this forum and I have read my posts that people complaining how they lost their fund as a result of investing on Volatile coin like BTC. Is it now advisable for newbie like me to invest on less Volatile coin like Tether or Gemini USD.
Less volatile? Tether is not volatile in anyway, it’s a stablecoin. So, if you invest in Tether it would be just like when you’re holding the USD in your wallet. I make use of the Blockchain wallet and they have two stablecoins in their wallet that you can make use of : Tether and USD-D, if you’re holding these two coins you’re just holding dollars and that’s why they don’t have any chart on the platform, your $1 is simply that same $1 all year.

If you have plans to make profit you will have to still go for the coins that are volatile just like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The thing is that you have to raise money that you can risk and invest in these coins at the right time.
