1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 - Upgrade to 0.11.3.1 on: July 28, 2017, 07:33:49 AM
Thanks for the sarcasm buddy! Anyway, my phone is connected to the internet and with enough storage space for a blockchain, but it's only connecting to: 208.94.242.218. Is there a way I can setup a node to help the network?
It seems you missed the full weight of my sarcasm, so I'll spell it out for you:
  • The network doesn't need "help"*.
  • The issue is with you/your phone.

*While having more nodes is always better, if you can only connect to "Joe's Datacenter" (0.95% of the existing live and active nodes), the issue is you and you can't actually "help".

I'm assuming Zetacoin is dead, as any Android wallets I have aren't syncing with the blockchain?
Yes, it's always a good idea to assume that the entire network structure is down because your phone cannot connect to real nodes.  Roll Eyes

The current highest is 40 sats, how is it "weird" that it got confirmed with 5.35 sats?  Undecided

Where are you getting that amount from, bitcoinfees website is still showing 260 sats ?
...
There's this new app out, it's called BitcoinCore and it has actual functions. You should check it out before everyone wants to use it!  Roll Eyes

It's been confirmed today. It's weird.

Methinks 2BTC does not "a really huge transaction" make. Cool your jets, you'll get your $1.85 when you get it....

He?

Take your pills and go to sleep.

Huge transaction in SIZE not amount of BTC ... You must read a little bit more. Transaction size depends on inputs not amount btc sended in block.
True, because it's actually possible to charge 0.1bytes ("like 0.002% of the amount").  Roll Eyes

I was trying to look at this coin and planned to buy a few.
But i really do not like a product which has a windows wallet what crashes on each start, yes i tried all of the available ones CRASH crash CRASH and crash
No matter if i try x86 or x64 all of them end in disaster
Run from a command prompt, is there an error message? Is there an error message in your debug.log or bd.log files?

5 sat/byte? Are you serious?
What if I told you that Satshii said:
...It's only when you're sending a really huge transaction that the transaction fee ever comes into play, and even then it only works out to something like 0.002% of the amount...
Huh

What happened to this coin? Was it only a quick pump or is it really active now again?
Both.  Tongue
Over 5000 blocks were mined in less days than it normally takes in weeks for that many to be mined, so the market got saturated. Now that the diff is up over 500M, the balance will begin to restore itself.

... but it scares to see such a low fee these days...
Welcome to the world of realizing that you were just a pawn in the events that created segwit activation and that high fees were meant to scare you into thinking you needed to pay high fees.  Roll Eyes

i have folder permissions

bash: ./autogen.sh: Permission denied
Do:

Code:
unb@d10321:~/UnbreakableCoin_2017$ cd ..

unb@d10321:~$ sudo chmod -R +x UnbreakableCoin_2017
[sudo] password for unb:

unb@d10321:~$ sudo chmod -R 777 UnbreakableCoin_2017

Yes it's correct

unb@d10321:~/UnbreakableCoin_2017$ sudo ./autogen.sh
[sudo] password for unb:
sudo: ./autogen.sh: command not found
unb@d10321:~/UnbreakableCoin_2017$

Do:
Code:
unb@d10321:~/UnbreakableCoin_2017$ ./autogen.sh

Also, if you have file/folder permissions correct you shouldn't need to sudo...

OP, why the low fee in the payouts now?

Fee per byte   5.363 sat/B

With BIP91 on, we need at least 30 confirmations to go, this will take an eternity to confirm, bad move. Sad

I agree, by the way looks like the most of us has still not received  any payment. I am one of them.
Welcome to the edge of eternity (as it has 6 confirmations and 30 is an overzealous suggestion, not a necessity)

Hello,

i try to install the new linux wallet, but always i got this error.

sudo: ./autogen.sh: command not found

Has anybody an idea?
Thank you very much.

Is your command prompt in the correct folder?
i.e.:
Code:
zimbo123@ZimbosRig:~/UnbreakableCoin_2017$ ./autogen.sh

Also, if you have file/folder permissions correct you shouldn't need to sudo anything other than:
Code:
sudo make install

Except that there was a disagreement about whether they should roll back their block chain to recover the lost funds...
Most specifically funds that were lost privately and having nothing to do with the chain. Angry

...I pulled all my rental coin out of nicehash  and no longer rent from them.
I have mixed feelings after making 0.8BTC (and a 0.2BTC rental for here), doing roll-overs on an alt with an initial 0.03BTC rental this weekend (basically turning .03BTC into 1BTC). In mining (as in poker, craps, and roulette): some days are winners and some days suck ass.

What do you mean with ripoff? Ripoff of what?

I gave up on that PEPE junk a couple months before I finally moved out of using Counterparty entirely.

Counterparty is just a ripoff, pure and simple, and IMO Foldingcoin should DROP their association with that trash.

Thank goodness for "mine to exchange wallet" as a viable option!
rip-off
ˈrip ˌôf/
noun informal
noun: ripoff

a fraud or swindle, especially something that is grossly overpriced.

Block explorer shows 72762 block, wallet stucked at 72409
It seems that they picked the wrong old version of BitcoinCore to molest and partially rename as "Unbreakable"; and we all got screwed again. If it makes you feel any better, the non-fixed "fix" only cost me $1,300USD because of the spilt/fork/ds/wtfever and Bittrex locked deposits again.

Close your wallet and rerun it with the -reindex switch.
