What if I told you that Satshii said:
...It's only when you're sending a really huge transaction that the transaction fee ever comes into play, and even then it only works out to something like 0.002% of the amount...
Huh
Methinks 2BTC does not "a really huge transaction" make. Cool your jets, you'll get your $1.85 when you get it....

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

He?

Take your pills and go to sleep.

Huge transaction in SIZE not amount of BTC ... You must read a little bit more. Transaction size depends on inputs not amount btc sended in block.

True, because it's actually possible to charge 0.1bytes ("like 0.002% of the amount").  Roll Eyes

OP, why the low fee in the payouts now?

Fee per byte   5.363 sat/B

https://blockchain.info/tx/c5616afb6c65501503405346828ce1bf34169732c95ba795e35645dd6ee30c3d

With BIP91 on, we need at least 30 confirmations to go, this will take an eternity to confirm, bad move. Sad

I agree, by the way looks like the most of us has still not received  any payment. I am one of them.

The same.
https://btc.com/9b3d2488a8bd50df1103ee0da7a2879412576fe68a50dd31d2a73cbb6572d97a

In Electrum:
Status: Unconfirmed
Expected confirmation time: unknow (low fee)
Size:5334 bytes
Fee:0.00028559 BTC
Fees Rate (BTC / KB) 0.00005354 BTC

When confirmed transaction?

It's been confirmed today. It's weird.

The current highest is 40 sats, how is it "weird" that it got confirmed with 5.35 sats?  Undecided

Hello,

I am new in to mining and im expecting several L3+'s and i want to connect them to the Nicehash servers. The question is how to do so?
Example in the Antminer config for worker i put my wallet address and for password what? Also is the correct server for Litecoin, Scrypt with port 3333? Do i need to make registration and if i do can i make workers there and put my wallet address in some settings menu? How are the payiments made how are they calculated? I did not found much information on how to connect ASIC miner properly to Nicehash. Can someone please explain as simple as possible.

Thnks

I don't know where you are located but. . I'll post the stratum servers you'll probably be using.

EU Scrypt: stratum+tcp://scrypt.eu.nicehash.com:3333

US Scrypt: stratum+tcp://scrypt.usa.nicehash.com:3333

You don't need any registration at NiceHash since I am asuming you are using a external wallet, password should be "x" in your case.

Best regards
Harry

Where are you getting that amount from, bitcoinfees website is still showing 260 sats ?

In good news Nicehash seem to have listened and increased it from 5 to 20 sats on my last transaction.

In bad news, 3.5 hours later and no sign of it confirming.

There's this new app out, it's called BitcoinCore and it has actual functions. You should check it out before everyone wants to use it!  Roll Eyes

Ok, I have no clue what I am doing or if it's profitable but I just like to learn stuff. I bought some hashing power on the live marketplace on nicehash for cryptonight because i like to have monero. I've managed to actually be mining on a pool from suprnova. The question now is why would I set my hash speed limit to for example 0.01. If I set it to 0 there would be no limit and I don't have to wait so long. Wait is the reason nobody does that or at least I don't see it.

If you set your order speed to 0, all you will likely do is drive the price you pay up and reduce your potential profits, because all the bots will just outbid you.

As it's a market place, you need to find a good balance between the speed you want and the price you pay, and this will constantly change.

Maybe have a look at the nicehash bot...

Nice hash is very simple to setup. Download and follow the steps.  Benchmark your equipment.  Pop in your address in the GUI.

Job done!

Hi,
As a seller on nicehash, I am interested in using the Antminer D3 on nicehash. Will this miner work on nicehash?

eek! I accidentally changed my payout address, since I was under minimum threshold for payout, thinking the payout would all go the new address. It reset my stats. Where can I find my old payout address so that I can continue mining on that one. I have ALOT of BTC addresses, so I am unsure which one it was.
