I think that FB have good and bad points. For example, thanks to FB, I was able to reconnect with my old school friends after 20 years of separation  So, we can't deny that FB really can help you to find some old friends but it's not healthy and wise to be on FB whole day, and don't go out, meet real friends, walk outside etc. It's much better to meet real friends outside than virtual friends online |

I love this about bitcoins and I think if more people understood this process more people would be using bitcoins to send money to their friends and family. Also its a way to keep the value of Bitcoins at a norm as most local bitcoin buyers hold their coins for a while and only sell the profit they make from buying and selling them Very good points, I agree with you. We have to explain benefits of the bitcoin to average people in the simple way, not to complicate to much. So, if we can explain how easy and cheap is to send money in this way, or that they can earn very good profit when value of bitcoin increases, this will make them interesting |

So, if the trend of loosing value of bitcoin continue, and ''big'' merchants will still hesitate to accept bitcoin, we may see that many users will stop using bitcoin and will lost their confidence in this project.
Bitcoin will not die but can lose chance to become relevant and important.

I had good experience with Paypal.
I was scammed from one Internet company and because I paid through Paypal I started dispute and claim.
After 30 days I received refund from Paypal, so I'm grateful to them.
Of course, this is my experience as buyer, I don't have experience as seller.

My gf for months and months heard me talk about Bitcoin and didn't understand it, thought it was stupid, thought I was crazy, and just knew it was going to fail.
It has had some pretty bad hits, but it hasn't failed, but instead in many ways is growing and growing.
When I first talked about Bitcoin, there was no Bitcoin companies in our country, not one place to buy Bitcoin, not one place the spend it.
Now we have some pretty nice exchanges, good phone apps, ATMs and actual places to spend Bitcoin (but still not that many).
As time has gone on, she turned from complete Bitcoin disbeliever to curious skeptic to now believer.
Now when a bank charges her a high fee, she complains and imagines a world where Bitcoin has done away with that nonsense.
She is now starting to tell some of her friends about it, all of which think she is crazy, but in time......
Very good testimony and way to go! We, Bitcoin users, should be more active and promote bitcoin as much as we can, not just to the people around us, but to local businesses, merchants etc. People will start using bitcoin when they will see may options to spend their bitcoins, not before... |

I think that right now Albania and Kosovo are the cheapest countries in Europe to start a business.
Of course, this 2 countries have their own problems, specially Kosovo (not fully recognized as independent country), a lot corruption and economic problems but if you can find some good business or political connection there, I guess that you can build good business there.

 Google Trends for "Bitcoin" searches. The first peak in 2011 is when Bitcoin got initial attention. The second peak in mid-2013 is the China bubble. The third and biggest peak in 2014 is the Mt. Gox collapse. The first two were when the two big Bitcoin runups happened. The Mt. Gox collapse, no so much. Post Mt. Gox, the hype level has been modest, and the price has been flat or declining. Interesting info but based on this statistics only, without additional research and analyzes, we can't predict what will happen with Bitcoin in the future. I think that main point here is if ''big'' merchants'' will accept Bitcoin as additional way of payment, or not. If they accept Bitcoin, we will become mainstream and things will change for the better |
