10661  Economy / Services / Re: 🌙🌙🌙 Moonlite Signature Campaign 🌙 🌙🌙 [MEMBERS+] on: January 16, 2018, 01:57:59 AM
Payment received, aTriz, thank you very much.

Can anyone suggest to a dribbling idiot (me) a segwit wallet, if one exists, for Android?  Or if not Android....I don't know.  I'm fully in the dark about this, as my grasp of these things is almost nonexistent.  Thanks.
10662  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie from another country on: January 16, 2018, 01:49:51 AM
Hi I'am a newbie here in canada. I am a filipino and wanted to try this bitcoin world. I dont know how to start.please give some information on how to start as the discussion here confuses me a lot.
I am also a newbie, maybe you can start by making bitcoin wallet and increase the point activity to reach higher rank.
Why is it that every noob suggestion in threads like these has "you must rank up by posting constructive and follow the rules" in it, or some variation thereof?

OP, why don't you try reading in the beginners & help section?  Seems like everything you'd ever need to know about how to begin in bitcoin would be there.  And I would suggest do more reading than posting, especially since you're Filipino (unless you happen to be proficient in English).  There are way too many garbage posts on bitcointalk, and they're mostly due to people who can't write and/or have nothing to say.  Good luck.
10663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoStagnation on: January 16, 2018, 12:29:10 AM
This is nothing.  Were you here in 2016 (or was it 2017?) when we were stuck in the $420-470 range for months?  That was stagnation, and it's happening again--but we're WAY higher than $420 and I'm happy.  There's no reason bitcoin should have any value

That's the crazy thing about crypto, and it's what the die-hards don't see:  If demand drops for any reason whatsoever, bitcoin could drop to nothing.  It doesn't have any intrinsic value whatsoever and is completely dependent on people's perception of it.  The fact that it's grown so much in such a short period of time astounds me.
10664  Other / Meta / Re: Banned due to personal message on: January 15, 2018, 10:24:45 PM
I would say don't push your cult on other people...  :/
I'm of the same line of thinking.  But I'm actually surprised there's not more religiosity here in sections other than politics & society--which I never visit.

This is a garbage shitpost, by the way, and these are becoming the norm for every thread:
You have to stay active, and before you get to the level, what you're doing can have an impact, and as your level goes up, I think you'll be able to do more. You can read the   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0
Hope to help you!
Unhelpful and unnecessary.
10665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever gambled to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness, grief or lose on: January 15, 2018, 04:35:31 AM
I so rarely post here in the gambling section, as it's a cesspool of degenerate gamblers and shitposters, with no hope whatsoever of redemption or reform--but I totally gotta answer here.  My thing isn't casino gambling or even crypto dice sites, as most of that shit is illegal where I live (thanks, US).  But I've gotten caught up in shitcoin trading before, and yes it was to alleviate all of those things, mostly boredom.

That's how it goes for most gamblers, I'd say, just like alcoholics start drinking socially, with friends--and then it progresses to blackout drunkenness alone in the bathroom, with vomit splattered everywhere and no memory of the previous 72 hours...you know how it goes.  All of this shit begins innocently and then goes horribly awry.  That's why I don't currently gamble with crypto, or even crap like scratch tickets.  Way too addictive.
10666  Other / Meta / Re: Account is banned on: January 15, 2018, 12:54:16 AM
This is very sad, and it sounds like a mother speaking to a school principal about a son who got suspended from school.  And that's how sad this forum has become.  This little scuntbag is probably supporting his family on a shitposting farm somewhere in Indonesia or the Philippines.  But if he got banned, it was for a reason.  This person who's posting here is being vague and evasive but hopefully got the message that the offender (whoever the F it is) won't be unbanned.

Bitcointalk has gotten so bad as of late.  The quality of topics and of the posts within is abysmally low.  See you in the Ivory Tower, perhaps.
10667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts are Bleeding What To Do? on: January 15, 2018, 12:33:25 AM
It is always normal. Correction is a normal to alt. HODL key and buy more at dip.
Though I strongly suspect you're just a typical shitposter, your sentiment is spot-on here.  Everyone here should know damn well that altcoins go through these periods where they can fall--and I can't even think of adverb to tack on here.  "Significantly" doesn't even cut it.  Drops in the range of 80% and like that are jaw-dropping when you're the one holding the coin.

Hang onto your socks, jock strap, and significant other if you own shitcoins.  But lately it seems that the dips are just that--dips.  And depending on how strong your community is, and how many suckers got suckered into buying your coin, it'll rebound.  Even if there's no rational reason for it doing so.  Don't be some pansy weak-handed fool.
10668  Other / Meta / Re: Are you embarrassed to post in the ivory tower? on: January 14, 2018, 10:50:33 PM
They will only improve if people pay for quality posts.
And a problem with this is that quality doesn't equate with quantity.  Managers like aTriz have a 200-character requirement, which helps, but what I'm seeing is that a lot of members are writing extremely bloated shitposts that basically say the same thing over and over, within a post.  And those posts are just as garbage-y as the "nice 1" posts, only from far away they look like something profound.

As you've said before, change is only going to come from above.  Only when Theymos cracks down on campaign managers will we start to see the end of shitposts, and I don't see this happening anytime soon.  I like the Ivory Tower section, but it looks like no one is going to post there much (not surprisingly).  So much of what we see on bitcointalk is motivated by campaigns.
10669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: January 14, 2018, 09:55:26 PM
this will also increase the demand of Bitcoin and also widening the acceptance base.
I suspect it won't do either of those things.

You think with the network being what it is, people are going to run out and buy bitcoin just so they can spend it (with a fee) at KFC?  I don't think so.  It's much easier to spend fiat, which people already have, than to go out of their way to buy bitcoin--just to spend that.  That's lunacy.

My opinion is that bitcoin is never going to get used for mundane things like fried chicken unless the USD collapses.  In other words, probably not in my lifetime.  Yes, this is a gimmick.  That's all it is.
10670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: January 14, 2018, 08:32:58 PM
I'm not sure what the difference is between a bounty and a sig campaign, but I wouldn't trust any of them with my information.   If campaigns ever start asking for identification, that'll be the end of it for me.  As the member above said, that shit could easily wind up on the dark web--you just never know.

What IS the difference between bounties and campaigns, anyway?
10671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia bans Bitcoin on: January 14, 2018, 04:04:45 PM
Would be nice if OP provided more than those links, which I'm not clicking on.

I'd be tapdancing in the streets if Indonesia did actually ban btc because they're some of the worst shitposters on bitcointalk, as you can see from the replies here. I'm damn sure my prayers wouldn't be answered so easily.  Can't North Korea drop a dirty nuke on Indonesia or something?  That'd probably work just as well.  I can't stand you fucks.
10672  Other / Meta / Re: Is this the new trend for spammers/account farmers? on: January 14, 2018, 01:47:08 AM
It would be much easier to report user, reporting post by post by post is kind waste of time and energy
I think that's a great suggestion.  I've been wanting check boxes for all of a user's posts so I could report multiple posts all from one page...but I know that's never going to happen.  And I'm curious as to what kind of response this will get.  "Report User" along with maybe a field for a brief description of why the user is being reported would be quite handy.  There are many, many users here who just write one-line shitposts, and it's obvious they're doing it to either rank up or meet a bounty quota.  Those posts are zero-value, zero-thought, and they come by the dozens.
10673  Economy / Economics / Re: GARBAGE EVERYWHERE on: January 14, 2018, 01:25:55 AM
This is a garbage thread, and I would bet a significant amount of money that most of the Newbie-Jr. Members who are posting here are alt accounts of OP.  There's not enough detail in OP to know what the hell he's blabbering about.

Wasn't there some sort of recycling business that was related to crypto that turned out to be a scam?  It was in Switzerland or Norway or some such country.  Can't remember exactly.

Take note, this below one of the most bloated shitposts I've read in a while, but I'm not surprised that it unfittingly includes "investing" as part of it, which is standard in these kinds of posts:
garbage is everywhereit was csuse by the undescipline people and it os also one of the problem  now a days  it cause  flood  and many issue, but aside from that garbage has the potential  to convert it to waste energy or to a source of income, and investing.
10674  Economy / Reputation / Re: My list of users banned from signature campaigns + Submit your own spammers on: January 14, 2018, 12:56:51 AM
aTriz, I don't know how you generated the list you're using here, but good job in making it, and making it public.

If you're interested, take a look at some of the trust feedbacks I've left in the past 2 months or so.  I've recently tagged a whole bunch of shitposters, and I'd say pretty much any of them would be worthy of inclusion in your list.  All of the ones I've left red for were quite obviously posting only so they could get paid.  You know them when you see them, and lately there's been so many new spam accounts, it's making my head spin.  Most new topics now get drowned out in shitposts within an hour or so.

I left all that trust because there doesn't seem to be much else one can do, besides reporting posts--sometimes that's effective, other times not.  I think mods like hilariousandco are kind of throwing up their hands in frustration and disgust.
10675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the New Gold, a better safe Haven Asset, Do you agree? on: January 14, 2018, 12:52:47 AM
There's been a thread floating around about this for quite some time now--I remember commenting in it, and I'll say the same thing again:  Bitcoin isn't going to be any sort of "safe haven" or "go-to asset" unless its price stabilizes.

People who are extremely wealthy don't park their money into assets that rise or fall 50% in one day--they buy stuff like gold and government bonds.  They're objective is to protect their wealth, not generate it.  Little peons like you and me?  Yeah, we have to gamble in order to have the chance to strike it big.  But the big fish, when they need a safe place to put their money, it's not going to be in crypto (yet).  I don't care what JP Morgan or any of those other scum suckers say.  They're just trying to peddle something one of their clients wants to sell.  Pay them no mind.
10676  Other / Meta / Re: Is this the new trend for spammers/account farmers? on: January 13, 2018, 09:30:49 PM
so please before saying that I am scammer ask why I do this.
There's really no need to ask why--it's pretty obvious to me.  Your vocabulary is extremely small, just like any person who's just learning a language or doesn't know it very well.

When I was first learning French I knew only a handful of phrases at first, mostly asking "Where's the museum and restaurant at?" and the like, and this is what happens with shitposters.  The same idiotic phrases keep getting recycled, and it doesn't matter if they're appropriate to the context of what's being discussed.  And sometimes it's jarring.

My suggestion would be to do some more reading on bitcointalk if you're here to learn.  But I strongly suspect that isn't your motivation at all, right?  You're here to earn money by writing words and renting out your signature space, right?  Well, you should learn how to string those words together in such a way as to contribute something profound or entertaining.  I really, really wish campaigns paid for local board posts.
10677  Economy / Services / Re: InsurePal Signature and Avatar Campaign(FULL) on: January 13, 2018, 04:53:31 AM
Payments have been sent to those who qualified

you should also write username which one is not qualified i weared avatar and signatures for more then 2 weeks and even no reply this actually not professionalism.

take your work serious Thank you
And it looks like you didn't write anything worth paying for in those 2 weeks, either.  Just saying.  Yahoo62278 is one of the best campaign managers on bitcointalk, but like most other managers, he doesn't suffer fools lightly and if you were included you'd have been on the spreadsheet.
10678  Other / Meta / Re: UID: 1236100 Appeal, please lift banned on: January 13, 2018, 04:47:28 AM
no paste copy its comments, did not violate any rules
So you just lied with the above comment (twice), then you say that whatever your acknowledged wrongdoings are, you did them because you were a noob and didn't know the rules and hence did not think stealing someone else's words was wrong.

Lies and excuses.  This is what I really can't stand about the typical 3rd world shitposter.  It's not the desperation to earn money by spamming, but it's that whole scammy mentality that seems to go along with it.  Any sort of manipulation goes, as long as you get your way.  Props to rickbig41 for the catch and the ban.  It gives me a non-trivial amount of hope when I see mods applying the ban hammer.
10679  Economy / Reputation / Re: get my ratings up in bitcoin talk on: January 13, 2018, 04:40:18 AM
I only been on the forums a few weeks now. how does one get a higher rating and trust score? what should I be doing? thanks
Dont rush up since trust rating cant really be gain easily because you would really need up to be trusted and make some micro trades that would turn out to build up your trust. This thing really takes time and cant really be done over time this is why you should not be on a hurry. Just build it up nice and smooth among community members.

Hi, everyone.....

I happy to hear that....
Btw, how to get good score on this forum?
You are just asking the same thing on what op is asking on here. Regarding on the answer then better to read above on what i post.  Cool
And that is precisely why I gave this person a neg--everything he or she writes is complete crap, and this is no doubt to rank up to Jr. Member, whereupon he/she will attempt to join a signature campaign or bounty.  Then the real spam begins.  This is what I've been railing against for the past year or so, but it's gotten so much worse here.

Fortunately for this turd, my feedback won't make a difference.  What Bianca Azure needs is a coat of some good 'ol DT2 Red, applied liberally to trust page.  That would at least disquality this person from most reputable campaigns.  No chance in hell he's going to earn positive trust unless he lucks out and buys something in the collectible section and lesbiancow or whoever leaves a positive, or you save a choking child here or you buy a DT account from Quickseller.  Good luck with all that.
