10661  Economy / Speculation / Re: And We Are Back In The Game! on: November 24, 2017, 12:32:47 PM
Actually I am glad that Roger Ver and Jihan Wu carried out this market manipulation through BCH. I was able to predict the strength of Bitcoin and its market. People never did actually move to BCH completely abandoning Bitcoin. Bitcoin came out better. This shows these petty acts can't harm Bitcoin today, they might have impacted earlier. But now Bitcoin is being supported at global and huge level and thus manipulation isn't that easy.

This is the strength of decentralization!
BCH can never harm btc because there are so many followers of bitcoin now and they will never see the fall of this coin and whenever the fall occurs investors will get unite and they will invest more to give this coin prosperity and as BCH is concerned it is kid in front of btc and those who are saying that BCH will cross btc they are mentally ill and btc has outclassed all the alts and next victim will be BCH and its near.

Its not that bitcoin has many followers, there's no question about it. The problem with bitcoin cash is that the people behind it is as shady as the coin itself. Its a knock off coins and the price jump is just a maneuver by the Chinese miners and is proponents. Its just a another coin for pump-and-dump and for profit taking but the people behind it.

And look how the community reacts, the price has fallen significantly after the dump, although its trying to make a comeback, however they don't have the consensus of our community and it will not gain any steam anymore.
10662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was your reaction the first time you heard the word "cryptocurrency" on: November 24, 2017, 11:13:16 AM
Of course, i know that most people heard about bitcoin before other cryptocurrencies. Would you have believed that bitcoin will be this successful?

To be honest, I really don't think that bitcoin could reach this far. The first time I heard cryptos or bitcoin was around 2011 try my hands on it but totally give up because I don't see any future. However, things have changed. You can see that in this year alone, bitcoin price exponentially grow to 700% which has not been done before.

Now, I'm hook on it, although there are regrets for not believing in it before, I still think that its not to late to join the bandwagon and connect myself into the ecosystem and recover my lost ground.
10663  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin=easy money on: November 23, 2017, 01:29:44 PM
I really don't understand why people are equating bitcoin to easy money. Bitcoin is being earn and you need to have to put up either capital (trading/investing) and effort (signature campaign, services offered) in order to have bitcoin. The only way to have easy money is thru gambling but it has high risk and you might ended up losing.

And now since the demand is increasing, its really getting harder to earn. Just look at how signature are paying paid now, a Full Member before is getting .0075BTC but today its .006BTC.
10664  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next FUD? on: November 23, 2017, 12:13:03 PM
I really think there are still FUD lurking around the Forum or on the net that telling the media about bitcoin being a scam but it really doesn't do much with the price of bitcoin it is just a coincidence when James Dimon the CEO of JP Morgan just spout that bitcoin are a fraud or a scam produce a massive Fear towards selling of massive amount of bitcoin, back then the price just stumble down but then recovers, and right now I think that many users are more knowledgeable now that is why even if there are so much FUD right now it is not a big deal or an issue anymore.

Yes, there are still FUD going around. They will never be gone, and they are plainly obvious when bitcoin price drops.  We don't even need FUD to pull back the price. Manipulators can strike anytime. They can just set big sell orders and then boom, lot of members follow suit without knowing what causes the massive sell, then FUD's ride with the massive dump.

As for preparation, I guess there is none as well. Just remain vigilant, go around the forum, the Press Release section and see what's the current trend is. Before making the decision to push the sell button or hodl.
10665  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-22] Philippines to Legalize Bitcoin as a Security on: November 23, 2017, 11:20:44 AM
Another welcoming news to the Filipinos. Although Philippines is still very young in the cryptocurrency because not everyone know about it, I'm sure this news its another step that will make bitcoin be recognize and merchants began to accept bitcoin in that country. I noticed though that is it Asia that really leading the way for bitcoin to be fully recognized globally. I guess with recognition, comes taxation.  Grin

I expect this fact will rise the economy of whole Philippines and make citizens more wealthy so they will not need to look for other opportunities to earn in abroad or turning to a criminal, let's be realists. It is a wonderful country and I crypto legalization will bring many advantages to them.

I don't think the economy will be affected that much, although I believed that Filipinos will really get the benefit from bitcoin trading and investing.
10666  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Possibilities in future and negatives on: November 23, 2017, 10:20:43 AM
Better be always cautios and vigilant to all ICO's that are coming this days most of them are really scams and if they grab some money from the investors they will run away and they are even worst from those people who says bitcoin is a bubble, but actually most ICO's are the bubble one. If you want to invest in an ICO make sure not to put all eggs in one basket and don't risk of what you can afford to lose as always. Hope many would realize that now.

But the thing is that people are really gullible and easily persuaded to join this so called airdrop and think that they are getting free money here. Its not. Initially, airdrops seem to be the next "IT" thing in marketing. But lately most airdrop become scam itself.

I don't think that people can stop developing all this kinds of shitcoins because there are a lot of individuals still falling for it.  And in my opinion, CMC will have to deal with and probably put ways to stop it ever the plans push through.

10667  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of the BTC on: November 23, 2017, 09:10:41 AM
With such a high volatility in bitcoin, for me it is not a big problem and I think it is something very interesting. Bitcoin also has a high security system, so I need not worry. Bitcoin still has a good future, I'm sure of it and will no doubt. See now the bitcoin price has rebounded and has reached $7700. It proves if the bitcoin enthusiasts are still very high and the demand on bitcoin keeps growing. I'm sure bitcoin has a very big future and prospect in the future.

As traders, volatility is our "friend" specially for day traders. Its one aspect of bitcoin that we really like unlike stocks or any trading market. If you know how to play arbitrage then you will love how volatility works.

As for the future of bitcoin, no one really know for sure. Maybe we can see new coins being embrace just like bitcoin. But definitely bitcoin has already a foothold and has the trust of most traders and investors that's why the price keeps going up. This alone will show that bitcoin can stay at the top for so long.
10668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN is the KING on: November 22, 2017, 07:09:06 PM
will bitcoin dip soon? i want to buy in

No one here has the crystal ball to predict when bitcoin price is going to drop. You just have to wait buddy. And not only you are waiting for the dip to enter the market, there are hundreds of investors who are waiting to buy bitcoin. Bitcoin can't go parabolic, it will bound to happen.

There is no question that bitcoin is the King and no attacks can really pull it down. A few attempts have been made already but bitcoin was able to withstand all of it and even rebounded from such condition very quickly.

Bitcoin was, is, and will be king for whole coins until the end of crypto which will be at the end of the world so he is the forever king.

LOL mate, you already stretch it too far, let's not talk crypto's and end of the world in one sentence. It doesn't make sense at all. Grin
10669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About Bitcoin Bad Rumors on: November 22, 2017, 06:36:01 PM
Jim Rogers, a banker and another traditional investor, is calling Bitcoin a bubble. This is not new. But what keeps these people talking trash about Bitcoin? Definitely, these investors who own financial institutions, have their own agenda and are playing their cards.

In this article: http://dashplanet.blogspot.com/2017/11/whats-behind-about-bitcoin-bad-rumors.html, there's a good insight about the true reason why these people are spreading these rumors.

I read the article and almost everything written their is correct, although most of us are all aware as why bankers are really attacking bitcoin and why several nations are banning the whole cryptocurrency arena Everyone who bashes bitcoin have their own agenda behind.

Just like what Jamie Dimon did earlier, he ride the wave of the China FUD and added his own spin. Then later we found out that JP Morgan bought huge amount of bitcoin during the crash. Its gonna be a constant battle, but the more they attack bitcoin, the more it grows stronger.
10670  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: blitzmining scam? on: November 22, 2017, 05:51:42 PM
blitzmining.com

Cheap prices for Bitmian products, volume available.
Sounds too good to be true.

Has anyone had a good experience with them?

Let me remind you of an old mantra here: "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is"

Let that be your guide whenever you see some items being sold at a cheap price. And Bitmain products if I'm not mistaken is pre-order, so when they say volume is available then its a blatant lie.

I haven't had a good experience, because (1)it really sounds like a scam site, (2) they are really scam site. So my friendly advise is not to buy from them and later regret your decision, don't take the risk.

10674  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10k By March 2018 on: November 20, 2017, 09:44:12 AM
10 000$ by March seems really feasible for me, because their is a rocket factor that stands in three letters : CME. This future could really bring a new exposure to Bitcoin and push it forward a lot in term of mainstreamness and price.

Exactly, the first quarter would be a good time to hit $10K but I seriously doubt that it can be done this year. Except for the CME rumors which have been going for some time and probably why bitcoin price kicks in, I don't see any speculative news that will push the price to go to $10K in December. But we are going to be OK, as long as we are in the positive mode and no attacks or bashed is on our way. The best thing to do is to just hold on our bitcoin because it will close this year at a positive note, then 2018 will be another big year for all of us.
10675  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: WALLET SERVICES REFUND FOR STOLEN BTCs on: November 20, 2017, 05:03:49 AM
No. Most likely that they will just ignored your request. I'm sorry to burst the bubble, but its your responsibility to safeguard your bitcoin in a exchange. And before you forgot, a lot of members here's advises not to store your bitcoin especially huge amount like yours in a exchange because of this kind of event or the whole exchange itself is being hacked.

You should only store few bits of your coins, just enough for you to get your trading let's say on a daily basis. Wallet like Electrum and Core is the best wallet to put huge amount of bitcoins. I hope you did learn your lessons here. Its a big amount but there's no way that you can get it back.
10676  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump/Correction @ 10k on: November 20, 2017, 04:06:11 AM
Like the title says what do you guys think ? Will there be a correction or profit taking at 10000$ ?
I think it will happen but the question is how much the market will fall ? 9K,8K,7k ?
Will you guys take the advantage of this fall to sell high and buy some btc at low price or just continue to hodl ?

Your thoughts  Smiley

I speculate that around $8200-$8500 will be the profit taking for most traders around. $8000 has been breached but a just a little dip still. I though that $8000 is the mental barrier but it looks like it isn't because the price is still dancing around $7900-$8000. Correction will happen as above mentioned price but it will just dip a little, maybe $7500 tops is the floor price that we can get.

Its still gonna be too steep for us casual but boy those big investors will really be suckered to bought at this 'discounted' price. And then after the correction we may see it marches toward $10000 at the end of the year of maybe early 2018. That would be great if finally we are going to touch a 5 digit for bitcoin in 2018. Another milestone and one for the books.
10677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All the Dramas, Twists and Turns of Bitcoin on: November 20, 2017, 03:15:54 AM

I still considered myself as a newbie when it comes to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general since I started to get involved with this whole thing maybe around one and a half years ago. Right now, there are still so many technical jargon that I find challenging to grasp with (though am trying believe me!) as my education continues here in this forum and elsewhere.

I find the whole Bitcoin ride akin to a roller-coaster with its ups and downs. One of the most important facet of Bitcoin I realized is that it is not a tool to change a part of the human nature as we are still bringing in our greed and weaknesses into the table...as evidenced by all the dynamism involved in the bigger cryptocurrency market.

All the excitement and glamour in Bitcoin is embedded in its dramatic twists and turns...and this is something we have to live up for as long as we are part and parcel of this industry.

Hopefully, in 2018 we can be witnessing more of this drama right before our gadget screens...!

Just this year alone, so much drama and its like watching a soap opera. Better get your popcorn ready. If I can remember a few twist and drama.

1] The whole expectation that SEC will approved the Winklevoss twins application for a ETF. Price shoots up, however, SEC denied it causing the price to go down to $900 and FUD waves comes along saying bitcoin is dead.

2] Japan then entered the pictured pushing the price to the next level.

3] ETH surges again. Then their is the talks of flippening. Didn't happened. LOL

4] The whole scaling debate that is still ongoing today. Segwit is activated in August. Then the rest is history.

5] China and the Jamie Dimon saga. Pulling the market to a crash.

6] Bitcoin Cash attacks bitcoin and try to brought the market to a near crash. They failed. Bitcoin wins.

So with that said and with all the happening and event this year, it was truly a roller coaster ride, a lot of ups and downs and then the subsequent recovery to even greater heights. So its really like a soap opera.  Grin
10678  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who sold bitcoin cash at over $2000? on: November 19, 2017, 02:05:26 AM

Do you think if you didn't sell your bitcoincash, you should do it now or not?  I mean 1000 for bitcoin cash is a lot when its technically given to you because you owned bitcoin.  Or do some of you think it would go even higher?  The thing is if you sell it now, you would get more for it than those ppl who got rid of it when it was in the 500+ range when many people started getting rid of it.

You should sell your bitcoincash when it reached $2000 many days ago. Not sure if BCH would be on that price again because it's likely stable on $900-$1200 for now.

You are too late if they think that bitcoin cash could go to $2000 again. If you didn't sell it at that price, then you have miss the opportunity already. Bitcoin Cash will never reach that price again.

Its clear as day as what is the purpose of this coin, its purely pump and dump coin. If you have joined the hype, you should think that this is the main reason why it quickly rises and should have dump it at the top price. Because its not sustainable.
10679  Economy / Economics / Re: China's complicates Bitcoins miners on: November 15, 2017, 04:58:56 AM
Oh wow. China seems to be starting to crack down hard. I wonder what prompted their hostile attack on Bitcoin.

Still, it's too early to draw conclusions. The story seems to be unconfirmed thus far, so this may not even be true. And even if it is, we don't know for sure if the added electricity costs would force the miners to shut down. It may very well still be profitable, just less so. This just makes me think that Bitcoin's energy requirements are unsustainable and is definitely an issue that must be addressed going forward.

Well when they banned ICO and closes its exchanges, the next target is their mining business. However, I don't know if this is fake news or not because we have seen a lot of them being used as a tool by a lot of FUD's around here during the height of their crackdown.

I have to disagree with the energy requirements being unsustainable, China has abundant of energy and even have a surplus that it can't be depleted in the next 10-20 years. This is real crackdown.

Japan has already show enthusiasm to have its own mining farm and mining hardware. I'm sure they will again take over if ever China bans bitcoin mining.
10680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The hapiness of a green profit on: November 15, 2017, 03:52:08 AM
A green means a win so I think everybody is happy to see it when we gambles. And the feeling is different, its like adrenaline rushing to our system, specially if we bet big and won the roll. That's why a green bring to all of us gamblers. Sometimes we fell invincible and can go all green all time time but its not the case. Just learn how to control your emotions though, because it will not be a green all the time. Quit while you are ahead of on the game.
