10661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin surpasses $12000 on: December 06, 2017, 03:16:27 AM
It's a wildfire....

It's bound to happen, with all the positive news coming in (CME,CBOE and Nasdaq bitcoin future contracts), its just a matter of time to hit $12K. The positive attitude or investors are still in the air specially CBOE will be the first to offer it on Dec. 10. Trading will begin at 5pm in Chicago (11pm GMT) on Sunday, December 10. So we could expect a lot of cash that will be flowing in the ecosystem.

Well i'd say it's not really surprising to me that bitcoin reached that value. It just confirmed one of the many predictions of some people. As matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprise if it reached 15,000k by the end of this year. It's just a matter of time and it wont be long. Smiley

I wouldn't be surprised as well. Most of the members predicted that we are going to close this year at $15K, crossing my fingers. Grin. This gains was really driven by all of this financial institutions offering bitcoin futures, which signals that bitcoin are here to stay and can't be ignored.

I have been paid at the start, but I don't want to go into specifics about personal information. It was agreed that I can join as a legendary member, promote the ico and that will count as my payment for management.

I see, then its all a misunderstanding, You should have not placed yourself on the spreadsheet even if they agreed, you see how much of mess it created? People jump at the smallest opportunity they see to bring down others. Best of luck mate with other campaigns.

I agree, and as a result I'll remove myself from the spreadsheet. I deeply apologize to anyone whom this has offended, angered, seemed unfair to and whatever else. I would have to say that without the full story, it would seem highly suspicious, though my intentions were never to be malicious.

Although I understand between Aventhe and the ICO CEO about the their payment deal, It doesn't take away that some members from thinking that Aventhe done some shady dealings. I read that thread and there are a lot of animosity. LOL. But again, we don't have a complete picture here so we should give him the benefit of the doubt. And it was not done in bad faith I guess. Its a total misunderstanding but the damage has been done. I hope Aventhe have learn from his mistakes. Smiley
10663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 11k plus is the price of Bitcoin Now. my fear is..... on: December 04, 2017, 06:23:14 AM
Bitcoin might drastically go down deep following the sudden surge in price. If am wrong you can correct my impression thank you.

Yeap, I think this is the right moment to convert and take into USD, to later buy again on a better price. Correction is coming.

No one really knows when the correction would come. This is a speculative market, it can happened today, or next week. The best thing to do is just check the price regularly so that we will know when the dump is coming. But fear not this price going down, its a good buying point and accumulate more bitcoin.

My thoughts is that there will be correction, but I don't think it will go down significantly. And as I have said, investors are waiting for this to happened, so that they can buy bitcoin at discounted price. But don't just dump your coin, just wait till it top before making the decision to sell.
10664  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Will hit 13k? on: December 04, 2017, 05:09:55 AM
Any possibilities for a 13k run since there is a new fork in BTC ?

Anything is really possible. It can go as high as $15K or it can go as low as $10K, we would never know. I'm still not familiar with the new fork though, I will have to read about it, but based on the previous fork, this kind of event put bitcoin price to new levels because of the anticipation of getting "free money". With that said, I think it get to $13K or even more if the bullish sentiment keeps on growing as well.

Again, I'm not familiar with another one, but isn't it we have enough already? Just my .2BTC. Getting tired of seeing lots of fork and the intention is to really make money out of it.
10665  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: miineshop - is it legit? on: December 04, 2017, 04:38:57 AM
https://miineshop.com/

Notice the two i's...
Is this site legit?  Has anyone ordered from them?  They seem new, but its a fairly well built site and has the https...

Common sense will tell you that by looking at the domain name alone, this site is not legit. And you said that they are fairly new. For me this is another sign of a scam site and just recycled one. One scam site closes, another one open in matter of days. And if there is a chance that they are not a scam site, I still wouldn't buy from them. Would rather go to the manufacturer directly, to relieved me of such stress about my order.

My friendly advise dude, Just go to bitmain and order what you need. Don't risk your money. And as other suggested, maybe you can find something in the computer section. Here's the link:

10666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin next 5-10 years on: December 04, 2017, 04:07:17 AM
At least one country's currency is likely to fail soon — likely Argentina or Venezuela. This will lead to mass adoption of bitcoin among that populace. That will in turn lead to bitcoin rising by more than $50,000 when it happens. Agree ? Comment below!!!!!!

Bitcoin in Venezuela is very popular because of hyperinflation. Many of them are turning to bitcoin just to buy the basic needs in there, like food. I even read that their banks are turning to bitcoin mining. LOL. And the funny thing is that bitcoin is banned in Venezuela. I don't know though if one of them will used bitcoin as currency, I highly doubt it.

As far as bitcoin touching $50K? Of course, it's just a matter of time. With all the positive news coming around. Maybe in just 2-5 years we can get to that price. Mass adoption will come, we don't need countries to make bitcoin their currency just to hit $50K.

10667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CME Group to launch bitcoin futures contract on Dec. 18 on: December 03, 2017, 08:23:38 AM
By now the effect of this news has been very positive indeed.  Bitcoin price rose to $11K marked once more. So its safe to say that this kind of positive news really bring bitcoin price to the next level. Dec. 18 is the date they said that they will official accept bitcoin as future contracts so I assume that there will be still a significant push to $12K.

And there's this news as well the CME's rival is somewhat joining the boat and would also offered the same futures if I'm not mistaken. And with all this institutions coming after bitcoin market now, I wouldn't be surprised seeing the price skyrocketed to all-time-high once more.
10668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WILL ETHEREUM HIT $1000 SOON? on: December 03, 2017, 04:30:57 AM
I still think that ETH will be having a difficult time to hit $1000 soon because investors are not really persuaded to invest in this coin. Although ETH is being fueled by ICO's, I don't think this is enough to push the price to the 4 digit barrier. I would love to see ETH get to it, however, I have doubts about it.

Specially that ETH has a bumpy road after it reaches its all-time-high last June. After that people lost their enthusiasm after getting there. And now with the renewed interest once more, I assumed that it will go to the same motion again. It will take like a year for ETH to double its current price in my opinion.
10669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin saving. on: December 03, 2017, 03:19:23 AM
How about only earning Bitcoin and not using them?
I think the price of Bitcoin will gain much more value.
So if we keep it as our asset we will be much rich in the future...hehe...whats your opinion about this?

I am definitely agree with you, Sir! I will not also spend my Bitcoins until the day comes that everybody will finally use it. I would be nice that we are the first once to be able to adapt that before everyone does.

Bitcoin can really be a store of value if you have patience to hold on it for many years. That is the problem with us right now. Since the price is going up, we are tempted to sell because if you are early investors or just casual who put just $700 to get 1 bitcoin beginning of the year, you can't help it but to think of selling it.

So if you can overcome your emotions not to take the profit today, then don't sell, its that simple. But for most of us, this is the right opportunity to get the profits too. Nothing is wrong with that.
10670  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-15] Government Causes Bitcoin to Land in India's Supreme Court on: December 03, 2017, 02:49:24 AM
Its really foolishness to ban bitcoin. I am sure that they wont take such a stupid decision.
All major countries started to accept bitcoin and if India bans bitcoin then its like stopping the progress of Indians.
That too India is one of the major IT hubs of the world. Two months back, I read somewhere that the government is going to regulate bitcoin under goods and commodities law. Anyways lets wait for the final decision.

India is a country which banned the use of its own notes through demonetization. It won't take a big jump for it to ban Bitcoin. It will be interesting to see what the courts say. Will they apply outdated laws and come out with a judgement..

Good point about the demonetization they did about a year ago. They reason out that to curb dirty money then have to demonetization Rupees which put a lot of pressure to their economics and their citizens as well. So bitcoin will go the same route in my opinion.

It's going to be a long uphill climb for bitcoin to be regulated in India. Too much officials there are very critical of bitcoin, although there is a fairly large Indian community here, but the government doesn't see bitcoin as more of incentive for their citizens but rather a liability. So for my Indian friends just prepare for the worst if things didn't went as planned.
10671  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain future on: December 02, 2017, 09:24:22 AM
Hi Guys ! What you think about feature of blockchain startups?

Blockchain is a revolutionary technology. And the ironic part is that "banks" are the first recipient of blockchain. They are the one who truly appreciate blockchain because it will truly help them in their daily/monthly/yearly processing. The funny part is that "bankers" are the one trying to put down bitcoin - which uses this technology.

Yes, it has a bright future because not only banks, but a lot of industries and sectors are going to implement and replace their legacy system with it. Even pharmaceuticals sector are looking at it. So this technology if properly used and put into effect, will again another game changer like bitcoin.
10672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram users beware! on: December 01, 2017, 08:01:12 PM
Really sad to see those ***hole spreading FUD and for what? so that they can bought bitcoin at lower price? That's why I still believed that there are groups that really exist to be paid just to create panic in the community. That's why I never join any of them.

I hope that anyone who has read their FUD should used their common sense not to believed in such fake news. And for those newbies, this is how they play the game and don't listen to them. Make your own decision and check the price in coinmarketcap just to be sure before jumping on the sell button.
10673  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to be a bitcointalk campaign manager? on: December 01, 2017, 07:26:21 PM
For those campaign managers out there good day and to everyone reading this thread. I would just like to know how to become a campaign manager I am so keen to know because I was also an account manager on my day job. What would be the qualifications? I am also willing to be trained and be an assistant for free. Feel free to comment here guys.

Here is a recent thread similar to what you are asking here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2186990.0

Just go and read. It has mostly the advise of a more senior member but I don't a campaign manager will chime in and get his/her input. Its not easy as it seems. And please be aware that there was one bounty in which the campaign was suddenly became a scam because the addresses of the campaign was changed for unknown reason, and the assistant was one of the suspect and he/she got red tagged. So its a very highly demanding job and you also need to be very very careful otherwise your career will be over in an instant.
10674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia says BTC will never be legalised - do you think we'll see a knock on? on: December 01, 2017, 06:12:02 PM
Wellll, I've heard somewhere that  Russia can legalize bitcoin and other crypto-currencies as early as next year. The Bank of Russia and profile departments now determine what status they should get. At any given time, the state must know who is on both sides of the financial chain. If there is a transaction, the people who conduct it must understand who they are buying from and to whom they are selling, just like with banking transactions

The Bank of Russia and the relevant departments are developing a joint position regarding the status of the crypto currency. According to him, afterwards, approaches to their regulation will be determined.

That is not what their body languages is saying. That's why I always takes a grain of salt anything coming from them. They are like 2 different countries. One would say that they "all love" crypto and bitcoin is close to Vitalik. Then on the next day, its the complete opposite, that's why I have a good laugh at them. LOL.

I seriously doubt what you are saying here without any sources. Its already out there that they will not legalized bitcoin and crypto because they can't control it. And the way to please their citizens is to have their own crypto's. But how can a ordinary citizens bought it when it is heavily taxed at around 13-15%?
10675  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Confido ICO Scam! on: November 30, 2017, 02:27:29 PM
We need an update! Where is aTriz?

What kind of update do you need? Atriz has already stated that he has been scammed as well and he is willing to pay those out of his own pocket. As for finding the scammer, I think he has done he's share of giving the information about the scammer and its up to those who are going to investigate the matter.

As you all know scammers not only have a entry strategy, they have also a very good exit strategy. Finding them will be very hard but don't blame everything on the campaign/bounty manager. It looks like Atriz has learn his lessons here to escrows or at least have access to the escrow funds before accepting a manager's job for a project.
10676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Falling Dominoes? $10,000 Bitcoin Price Now Looks Inevitable on: November 30, 2017, 05:48:46 AM
It is an expected correction, a great opportunity to purchase. And he quickly stabilized to approximately the same values, which were.

Correction did happened, but it was quickly recovered and a lot of investors get into the picture immediately. Altcoins is suffering, so I think some cash out their altcoins and shift again to bitcoin during the price correction. So the mental barrier is broken and it looks like it can maintained at $10K level.

A lot of good news coming along the way, Nasdaq doesn't want to miss the boat as they have plans to introduce bitcoin futures as well.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-11-29/nasdaq-is-said-to-plan-bitcoin-futures-joining-biggest-rivals

So investment and financial institutions are at on board as well. What could go wrong now? Grin
10677  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy Entry on: November 30, 2017, 04:37:26 AM
New here and cryptos are crazy!!!

Looks like 10K is holding up as resistance after the correction.

Do you think its time to buy?
Or it will still correct to 9600 level.

Few questions though:

>> Do you have the funds to buy bitcoin at this price?
>> What are you plans, long or short term hold?
>> Are you willing to invest what you can afford to lose?

In my opinion, Bitcoin price will have a short term correction. It could happen anytime soon. But can quickly recovered again and go even higher as proven in the past. Bitcoin could reach $20K or more in 2018. If you are a long term holder then I say don't wait for the price to make a correction to enter the market. Just buy today and hold it for at least a year.
10678  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin 10.000$!!!! What's Next? on: November 30, 2017, 04:03:23 AM
This means that bitcoins will be taken seriously by those big investment firms, banks and all those other institutions. You can see it everywhere on mainstream news and this is just the beginning.

The issue is, tons of newbies are coming and they're looking to earn more fiat. That's a serious issue for long term bitcoin growth. We need to educate these newbies asap.

I agree. Hitting $10K is a big boost for bitcoin and crypto in general. This is just the beginning. Those who are watching from behind and observing or even bashing bitcoin can't really ignore the fact that it reaches a new milestone in history and should be taken seriously by big financial institutions like banks.

CME getting on board will set the precedence for investment firms. If this push through as scheduled next month, bitcoin price will skyrocketed that you are either to dumb to invest on it or you still think that bitcoin is a bubble that will crash anytime. It's your choice.

Those newbies will learn it the hard way. Bitcoin is not a quick rich scheme. They could educated themselves as they go along and learn from their mistakes.
10679  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Investments in the media on: November 30, 2017, 02:49:19 AM
Yup i think it's worth it if you invest in media it will be a big help on making cryptocurrency much more popular and a lot of people will benefit from it. It will help us a lot of people who's into crypto to spread the word about cryptocurrency and how it is really rewarding.

It could be worth if you invest in media in the beginning of the year because bitcoin hasn't reach that far during that time. And bitcoin will only be covered by media (not the mainstream media that we are seeing right now), and its all about the negative impact of bitcoins. (ponzi, HYIP, dark market).

But in the last couple of months, specially this month alone, bitcoin has captured mainstream media now that investment on it will not be a good idea anymore. Bitcoin have already a foot hold on people now and we don't need exposure. Just check google trends on how much people are searching for "bitcoin". And you will see that it can already gained wider audience.
