10721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first Montreal Cafe to accept Bitcoin on: October 23, 2014, 06:23:25 PM
Neat! Did you convince them yourself?

The owners are pretty open to new ideas and they were really excited about the idea when I told them.
All the work has been done by me, hopefully I would get some feedback to make the backend system more efficient Smiley

Very very good news. I wish that many people will pay using bitcoin and not FIAT currency ! is the first of all montreal cafè?

Yes, the first cafe in montreal that accepts bitcoin and also in Quebec province. I did a quick research and couldn't find one in the whole eastern Canada.

Great news!
I hope that many more cafes will follow them!
Recently, we also got first bitcoin ATM in Croatia.
Soon, we will become mainstream Smiley
10722  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your thoughts about legal drugs on: October 22, 2014, 06:17:56 PM
I think that drug is drug, with bad influence for every user, whatever legal or not.
But, others may say that tobacco and alcohol also have bad influence for every user (almost like drugs), but still nobody forbids the use of alcohol and cigarettes.
This is never ending discussion.
10723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Facebook on: October 22, 2014, 06:07:56 PM
Bitcoin on facebook is only an utopia, but maybe many application can accept it to buy something.
[/quotWhy?
If other popular websites and services likie Wikipedia already accepted bitcoin for donation, FB can also do this, I don't see why not?
10724  Other / Off-topic / Re: What inspires you to pursue bitcoin? on: October 21, 2014, 06:26:28 PM
I have revolutionary mind lol Smiley
I always experiment and trying some new things, with good potential to become mainstream one day.
I feel that bitcoin will become next ''big thing''.
10725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have a Bitcoin debit card in my hands... on: October 21, 2014, 06:21:42 PM
Can you post a picture of the card in your hands? Just some proof that its not edited.
Grin Grin Are you kidding?

but  how to use it? where can use it bying something? i think it can't be used as a credit now.

In Croatia just recently we got first bitcoin ATM.
More and more merchants accepting bitcoin so debit card is another great addition for bitcoin users Smiley
10726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: October 20, 2014, 11:15:11 AM
Yes, i use my earned bitcoin regularly.
In fact, i have no choice, i have to pay my bills and I'm very happy that bitcoin earnings can help me financially.

10727  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: October 20, 2014, 11:07:34 AM
Its a game where play with your ball using your foot. Hence football.

Barca looks good, Suarez coming in may actually harm them by breaking it up.

lol.. Suarez really is a good player in terms of blending in with a new team's chemistry. Suarez is a finisher and not a playmaker, its either he makes an impact by scoring or a flop transfer decision because he cant finish. there is no way that will break barca's chemistry.

Liverpool was way too dependent on Suarez, from the moment he left Liverpool is not the same.

Let's see how Liverpool will perform against Real Madrid next week.

Yes, this is true.
Suarez is really great player and he always makes difference  in every team.
Liverpool shouldn't sell him.
10728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is a time traveler on: October 20, 2014, 07:09:41 AM
Anyone think that perhaps Satoshi passed away either naturally or by accident and that's why we haven't heard from him since?

Maybe he had a sort of Walter White experience and was given a few years left to live but instead of wanting to make a meth empire he wanted to create something truly amazing.

No one knew who he really was, so it could be possible that he was driving somewhere one day and was killed in a car crash, thus sealing his secret identity.

If he is dead, perhaps one day after an estate sale an archivist will be going through some old hard drives and find rough drafts of the white paper or even the stash of his mined coins.

Good idea.
Or...
maybe he live on remote island, with his family, enjoying his life and don't care any more about world affairs.
Maybe, he is preparing something new, revolutionary etc.
Or he is alien from other galaxy...

10731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How IT people waste their time to making BTC sites, who do not have users on: October 19, 2014, 02:13:39 PM
There are a lot of people, especially IT people, who try to make BTC sites, but in fact BTC users market do not demand that or BTC users market is not enough large for so many projects. Why they are wasting their time, what you guys think ?

You can't put things in so simple way, like black and white.
Old saying is that any advertising is good advertising, good or bad...
Also, when people notice a lot sites and articles about something, they will become more interesting, even f they was sceptic at the beginning.
I don't think that all this projects are wasting of time and energy.
10732  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who has been a member of PROBUX? on: October 18, 2014, 03:16:10 PM
I was their member long time ago, maybe year or two.
In fact, I tried many different PTC programs like Clixsense, Neobux, Paidverts and finally I choose to work just on one only- Paidverts.
In other PTC you must have a lot referrals in order to make some substantial money, in paidverts not.
Any way, it's good that you didn't loose to much money with PROBUX.

woah! we are the same. I am also a member of Clixsense and neobux. I have dropped those two PTC and decided to chose one and it is PAIDVERTS. I love this PTC than the former. It is really the new way of PTC

Yes, I really like Paidverts, more and more.
You can even buy their shares and earn more.
Very new and innovative way to earn through clicking ads.
10733  Other / Meta / Re: Is this still a Bitcoin forum? on: October 18, 2014, 11:34:32 AM
You can say this is more of a crypto forum instead of just bitcoin..

I think that this is the best answer.
Many people have many different interests so, in my opinion, every forum should have many different topics in order to satisfy everyone.

10735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Obama’s credit card denied at restaurant on: October 18, 2014, 11:21:50 AM
good points !
Bitcoin would not have had this problem.. an interesting story too
i wonder what his credit limit is ?

It seems bankers are republicans and don't like Obama Smiley
Any way, this is good example why is better to have decentralized money, and avoid ''middle man'', banks.
10736  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you think the universe will end? on: October 17, 2014, 08:32:57 AM
I don't think that universe will ever end.
If God, as creator of universe, is eternal, universe is also eternal.

10738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's brave/stupid enough to invest their life savings into Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2014, 08:07:09 AM
Not me , I guess everyone belieave on Bitcoin but investing my life savings ? I would never gamble like that.
I only invest amounts that I can afford to lose.

I agree with you.
In today's world nothing is 100 % safe.
Even big banks or even whole countries can collapse (Argentina for example ) so to put trust and life savings into Bitcoin is really not smart move.
Invest only amount you can afford to loose and this is the best advice for all bitcoin users.
10739  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: October 16, 2014, 07:57:59 AM
Anybody followed the Serbia Kosovo match? Pure comedy, though I doubt the participants will see it that way Grin

UEFA really made big mistake when they allowed Albania and Serbia to play in the same group.
If they could separate Russia and Georgia, or Spain and Gibraltar, they should also separate Serbia and Albania.
Tension between Serbs and Albanians is so high that this event didn't surprise me.

10740  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you live in Mars? on: October 16, 2014, 07:51:15 AM
According to the news, Humans may only survive 68 days on Mars.

If you are given a chance would you try to live there?

Why there are 24 people who are brave enough that join to mission - an irreversible move to Mars. what would you do there?

you are just trying end your life. Traveling to mars will take a minimum of 7 months. Travel only will get you sick.

SO, WOULD YOU?

https://ph.news.yahoo.com/humans-may-only-survive-68-days-mars-093340714.html

This is maybe true today but in 100 or 200 years I'm sure that science will solve all this issues and that we will have normal life on Mars, with normal atmosphere, climate, houses, schools, jobs etc. like other ''Earth''.
