They are well publicized have seen them every where, where their are bitcoin related advertisement, but like all the other investment site, they are an hyip and a ponzi scheme, but surprisingly they managed to stay on business for quite some time if the domain information i bet they just bought this domain for their advantage,it's an old hyip trick.

Indeed , but I mean it's not like they are on the internet only , because they have a video on youtube and someone shown his face , so are those hyip (whatever that means) legal ? how they can't be afraid from getting arrested .

@mexer , what MLM means
10722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers demand $3m bitcoin ransom from hospital to unlock vital files on: February 16, 2016, 07:08:34 AM
Just send the 9000 btc with no fee and it will never get confirmed because of full blocks.

I mean they are dumb for playing with people lives , I can tell you that . But I don't think they are dumb enough to accept zero fee transaction , the fact that they are asking for BTC means that they actually know how it works .
10723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Hackers demand $3m bitcoin ransom from hospital to unlock vital files on: February 15, 2016, 06:17:06 PM
An internal emergency has been declared at a major US hospital in Los Angeles following a widespread ransomware-style cyberattack which has left staff unable to access vital patient data, it has been revealed.

The Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Centre, located in the heart of LA, is now dealing with hackers who are reportedly demanding over 9000 bitcoins - which equates to roughly $3.6m – to release the encryption keys to computer systems that hold patient data, X-Ray scans, CT scans and crucial lab work.

Dumbest hackers ever , like they couldn't hack anything else . This kind of things will kill Bitcoin if they continue to do this shit
10724  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Restore Offline Bitcoins from Watching Wallet? on: February 15, 2016, 04:37:50 PM
It's sadly impossible to get anything from a watch-only address/wallet , I'm afraid that you lost your coins .
You still can try to use some recovery programs to recover your digital backup from USB drive though .
10725  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinice - Too good to be true ? on: February 15, 2016, 04:03:16 PM
Well... it's a website that doesn't has a host, so you can't even access it normally. Also, its WHOIS information is hidden, which is something that any upright business would never do.

But if you found it from a website that advertises anything they can get their hands on, and the offer seems too good to be true, typically it'll be a hoax.

I found those information's about their site on another website :

Quote
Domain for 18 years (registered 22 January 2004, active till 2022);

10726  Economy / Service Discussion / Coince - Too good to be true ? on: February 15, 2016, 03:42:21 PM
It's just another website that I found ... from Cointelegraph. As usual I keep asking about website advertised in Cointelegraph because they have a history on promoting scams (e.g BitPlutos) .
So whoever have information's about this https://coince.com/ website please share with us . Also if someone could explain how it exactly works , It would be awesome because I didn't fully understand .
10727  Economy / Speculation / Re: What caused the recent price increase ? on: February 15, 2016, 01:52:25 PM
Pump as usual, I'm expecting the price to drop down to 300 after the dump . "You must be new here"

I'm not new here but I have to say that Bitcoin market is not stable at all , I most of the time don't understand what's going to the price honestly , let's take for example the rumors about Steam accepting Bitcoin ... that didn't change anything to the price , not even little bit while It should .. logically.
10728  Economy / Speculation / What caused the recent price increase ? on: February 15, 2016, 01:45:18 PM
I can't seem to understand , It was so stable then suddenly and without anything (nothing that I'm aware of) price increased . If I'm not wrong It was 380$ yesterday morning or the day before it , then at the end of day It reached 410$ ~ .
10729  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for programmer that can help me develop new bitcoin app idea on: February 15, 2016, 01:27:51 PM
Android ? I have some knowledge on C#(Xamarin) and I could make apps but I'm not sure how difficult the idea is exactly , so feel free to contact me the details .
Most of the time , the idea is the hardest thing to get , then development shouldn't be biggy .
10730  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: February 15, 2016, 12:57:39 PM
Just to let you know , I didn't receive my payment either (and I assume everyone else didn't too) so it's just to remind you guys Smiley I know I will receive the payment eventually .
10731  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Block.io support problem on: February 14, 2016, 06:06:38 PM
There is no need to contact their support mate , they don't control the coins just like Blockchain.info.
I'm afraid you lost your coins , unless you could get your secret  mnemonic back.
10732  Economy / Speculation / Re: Finally bitcoin above 400 again on: February 14, 2016, 04:33:43 PM
Could anyone here with enough knowledge give me a logical explanation of what the hell is going on here ? It was like 380$ this morning and now it's ~410$ ?  Huh
10733  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Hero+ accounts (no signed message needed) on: February 14, 2016, 02:56:22 PM
You are really sure to buy an acc without a signed message? We all know how this will turn out...
I've done this before, no problems thus far

Probably because the seller wasn't a scammer , but people could easily get the accounts because they can sign messages . I personally wouldn't recommend such transaction .
I'm selling a Hero member with a signed mesasge available though ,What's your offer ?
How much do you want to sell for? I'm mainly looking for an account with negative rep, pm me the price

I contacted you with the price and with the trust details , let me know if you are interested on buying the account or not please Smiley

10735  Other / New forum software / Re: Bitcoin price widget and/or plugin on: February 14, 2016, 08:59:56 AM
Bitcoin price is based on supply and demand and since Bitcointalk is not an exchange , I don't see how they are going to do it anyway (I know we can trade bitcoin but it's nothing organized) .
So they will have to use Bitstamp API or Blockchain.info or something and I don't see the point of it honestly , you could just visit an exchange or preev.com , check the price and trade .
and for "changing depends the country" , most of Bitcoiners prefer to be annonymus and they use Tor or VPNs which means that currency will be more then likely wrong .
10736  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitgold - Legit or scam ? on: February 14, 2016, 08:02:50 AM
Scam....
I have used only "the golden heart" program on bitgold. (golden heart is type of referral program). I referred my friends to this program, but after some days they reduced my balance for no reasons..

If someone chargebacked or got banned , balance that you got from him will be reduced as far as I know . So check if it's the case or not
10737  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info Beta wallet ? on: February 14, 2016, 07:55:23 AM
You should stay away from online wallet I think. Even if for you daily spending, better to use mobile wallet, than online wallet(for daily spending).

I know , I installed Mycelium yesterday on my phone and I was planning to put bitcoins little bit everywhere to make sure I don't lose everything in case something goes wrong .
10738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Feel About Bitcoin Right Now? on: February 14, 2016, 07:11:51 AM
I'm experiencing this love and hate with bitcoin right now...Love it one day and hate it the next. But, I keep holding on...

Questions

1. How do you feel about bitcoin right now

2. How long do you plan on holding on?

1. Pretty good I guess , but the price could be much better .
2. Whatever it takes to walkout like a millionaire from here , so I really don't want from the price to rise like hell because I don't have enough Bitcoin to be a millionaire when It rise .
10739  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500 Within 2 Months? on: February 14, 2016, 06:43:47 AM
Yes it may happen , I mean in couple of months we will be in April . People should start buying and get ready for the halving block reward by that time so more demand = better price .
and if we speak about "after" the halving then for sure we are going that price and more , then is no doubt about it .
10740  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitgold - Legit or scam ? on: February 13, 2016, 04:53:15 PM
Still need reviews and feedbacks about this company , please take couple of minuts from your time to help the community !

Spend 0.1BTC (should be enough for 1g of gold) and write a review here

All community will acknowledge it

Review is not for me , It's for the community .
I already gave my review and I already used Bitgold and everything went fine for me & others however some people say that It's not legit , so I made this thread so we see the most reviews (bad or good) and decide if we should add it to the Scam list or not .
