We corrected the phenomenon that the payout rate can not be changed when the expiry is changed.

thank you.

What about your forex quotes? I know you are getting them from http://www.xignite.com/forex

However are you paying for the premium quality feed or using the "Free" feed which is very unreliable. It causes downtime, it has spikes which don't match the spot price and it causes the site and people to have losses.

We are now using a premium quality feed.
However, the price of xignite.com seems to be too expensive and we are looking for somewhere else.

You can not get a free quote every second from xignite.com.
Free can fetch data only 250 times a day.

Below is a message about the free version of xignite.

Thank you for registering! We know you can’t wait to get started on your 7-day free trial to our XigniteGlobalCurrencies API.

thank you.

They probably changed it, because in the past they had the free feed and it was unlimited however to prevent people from using it for business, which is risky, they added spikes every few seconds or minutes to the feeds.

If you want a free feed maybe try Oanda API, which is pretty reliable in my opinion.
is Oanda API free ? i think that there is no free feed .

Yes the feed should be free or at least it was a year ago or so.

You need to make a practice account first and then you should get the API credentials to access the feed.

The feed is very high quality.

Welcome to MegaDice.com.

-snip

Looks like you guys are restricting US IPs, any plans to change that?

you can use a VPN or a proxy to avoid getting banned based on your IP
not sure about withdrawals, though, but I don't see any TOS lines about not allowing US gamblers
sadly, there are many casinos that do not allow US customers to play
Primedice,for example,don't allow USA and Australia IP's

If The Us residents are not allowed to play in the casino then I am sure that the withdrawal to them will also be not allowed but as they are doing in bitcoin which is anonymous so any person who will use any proxy will easily withdraw their bitcoins as with bitcoin no one know the location of other.

the problem is that if US players are not allowed to play, when you withdraw any substantial amount of money
they could ask you for KYC verification-you are, basically, done then
won't get any money and they would be right to do so
but I can't find in their TOS that the US citizens are not allowed to play, lets wait for admin or site representative to comment on this
When I suggest to one of my friend about this site then he recalled me about the issue that the site is not showing but only a page which is saying that sorry the US citizens are not allowed to play on this site. So it means that US citizens are not allowed.

tough luck then Sad
it is bad for the site, many whales come from the US and they have bitcoins to spend as the adoption is high there
there must be some tax or legal issue for the ban,no admin would want to shoot himself in the foot
suggest him a different site then, there are many to choose from nowadays
Yes he is already in many casino for gambling and as I though that he love more to casinos that is why I also suggested to him to join this site. The admin have to tell us the details that why you have locked the US residents.

The reason why some sites don't state that is because it should be common sense that as a USA resident you are not allowed to do any online gambling at all, whether its bitcoin or not.

You can use a VPN but keep in mind that if you send your withdraw to coinbase or xapo, they will blacklist your account because you are not allowed to send/receive transactions from any gambling btc addresses.

A lot people faced long confirmation time nowadays and it happened almost at everywhere. And as I saw primedice picks only 30k satoshi as withdrawal fee hence your transaction will take a while to get a confirmation. Btw, what giveaway did you refer? the cashback one? if so, the promotion will be closed at May, 30th. I think they will send the prize after that date.

Yes, that is true. 30k satoshi is pretty low for recent transaction nowadays. But i wonder if they have really ETA to confirm my transaction there because it almost 24 hours and they do not even reply here
Yep, fees is low. primedice should increase the withdrawal fees. btw did you tried accelerating your transaction?

I think there's a problem with primedice now or it is just me experiencing this kind of issue becoz i can't access the site in any browser it just show blue screen i have fast internet but it doesn't load is there someone who have the same issue same like this
Primedice working here, the problem is on your side i think. try changing browsers.
What do u mean by accelerating?
Viabtc provides a free service(also paid service for urgent transactions) to accelerate a transaction by including the tx in next block. visit the site to know more, how it works etc.. (https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/)

https://pushtx.btc.com/ is another tx accelerator(paid service), just in case anyone requires additional transaction accelerator.

You can't rely on that Viabtc anymore. Last month when I had non-essential transaction, i've sent them all with a 101 Sats/byte fee and then I used the Viabtc accelerator and it would usually get confirmed in half a day or so.

Then in the last 2 weeks, whenever I go to that website and put in the Captcha at the beginning of the hour or a minute after, it says they are full. Try again next hour, same thing, and a few hours after that.

Its basically back logged for the next month or so probably. If only more and more pools provided such a service would be nice.

Hello guys,

We are working on the BURST implementation.  It will take some time, at least 1 week +.

We will soon reach the 10th billion bet on Bitsler !
On May 2 we reached 9th billion bet and now when there is may 27, 10th billion bet is very near, if we get 2 billion bet in one month, it will be a new record for bitsler if I amn't wrong. Also since 10th sounds like anniversary, will we see a different, more rewarded billion bet promotion or something new? Hope 10th bet will be different and unique from previous bets.

I  never had luck with those "Billionth bet" promos. Basically during that time, people make so many accounts and create so many autobets that its ver y difficult to predict when the Billionth bet will happen.

It happens pretty much on any casino that has these promos, during that minute or two. Crazy amounts of bots are hammering the site to win the promo.

THen they all logoff if they didn't win. Not really fair for the regular traders.

Greetings,

I just applied for, and I am I am waiting to receive my BitPay Debit Card. I would like to hear from those of you located in the United States,
who has their very own BitPay Debit Card...I would like to know your (good and not so good ) experiences.   I would like to hear from those of
you who has used fake information to obtain your cards. What have your experiences been like, and what you like and dislike about the card.

I truly hope to hear you all extremely soon!!!
Best regards,

Have you received your card yet?  It seems they're having problems....I've been waiting since the beginning of April....no card yet!

Where are you located? Maybe takes a while to ship international.

I am also thinking of joining since Bitpay has a little more reputation then the other debit card providers and feel more comfortable providing KYC to them.

Hi, my account have been banned for long time ago, I have no idea what's wrong with my account, so when can I get back my account? I have already deposited much amount into this account and even lose much, so I have to bet again to recover my lost, can you please give back my account? My account name is Dakunaito21.

I dont think that primedice can lock your account so check if you are connecting with a USA IP  if yes than use a VPN.

GoodLuck

judging by the way he writes I would assume he is not from US or Australia
he is,most likely, muted and cannot use faucet:

his wagered is private, but judging by his account's age and the number of bets I would say he wagered 10btc+
there is no other reason to not open a different account if your old one is inaccessible (well if you have under 10 btc wagered)
he should read the topic, there are sugestions how to get unmuted,i.e. deposit and play and write to support after

A few months ago PD started muting certain people who basically only used the faucet for gains without making any deposits. Whether the accounts are old or new, they got muted if they showed no interest in actually sending BTC over to gamble with but instead just playing the faucet hoping to win big.

If you are serious and still want to gamble there, I think you are required to make a deposit first and gamble a bit and then you might get your faucet privaleges back.

Now my account can't even bet and now i'm still having some balance in this account, I have deposited much amount before in this account and now having a negative profit too.

Contact support and get your problems resolved? it's much faster and easier to get help on primedice.

Your account is blocked due to faucet abuse and maybe you don't have deposited anything over 0.025btc over past 3 months. Only admins can unmute those accounts and i don't think admin will do it. So buddy better make a new account and wager over that one.

I am surprised Primedice didn't disclose their new terms for faucet use. It would make it easier instead of everybody here guessing when they will  be muted and how much BTC they need to keep depositing to keep their account in good standing.

Pretty soon only the whales will be able to use the faucet, however being a whale, they don't need that feature.
10749  Economy / Gambling / Re: 999Dice.com - Just Launched - 0.1% house edge, faucet & earn BTC on: May 26, 2017, 06:09:02 AM
This is one aspect where Bitcoin's unregulation is bad. If this was a regulated casino it would of been shut down a long time ago by authroitizes but since its bitcoin, it leaves the website active. People find it on google.  Send some BTC over and when it time to withdraw they find out the hard ways it gets scammed.

Basically bitcoin gambling is not for new people or people who are lazy and don't want to do research.

Because its sad that people are still losing money to 999dice.

people who bring their money to scammers without reading first kinda deserve it ,IMHO
it takes half an hour to google the site you are going to play at
it is your money at stake, you are risking enough just playing but if you prefer to reduce your chances to win even further, well it is your choice

Yeah but consider the fact that many don't speak english, or many are elderly and naive. Dice is very easy to learn, even if you don't speak english.

Most likely its impossible for Google to remove their 999dice listing. Which is surprising since they usually remove viruses and phishing sites. So no idea why bitcointalk won't lock this thread.
10750  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are provably fair gambling sites really provable? on: May 26, 2017, 06:07:26 AM
If they show the hashed seed before you bet, and the process using the server seed (provided afterward) and your client seed results in the output along with their server seed hashing into the hashed seed then it's perfectly verifiable.

Suppose my server seed is X and the result of it and your client seed would be tails (in a head/tails game).

I then hash the seed with SHA-256 and show it to you publicly. After you bet I reveal the server seed and boom: you can verify everything since I can't lie about the hash.

Please correct me if I have made an error in any way.

You are correct, but my point is that: is the "hashed seed" they show you, really the seed used to run the game?

for example they can just generate a random hash seed (asdbfj891y23basd) and display it on their website but then actually, their game will use a different hash seed (138sdf71982789zcxz). then when you lose, they will of course show you the server seed which solves your seed. but in reality it is totally different.
The way I see it, the seed and hash they provide might be legit, but what I feel is a source for worry is that of some dice sites having to ask players to first click some tabs to be able to see the hash. That may well be a knock on the door to alert the occupant to tidy things up before letting the one at the door in and all the while he stays, every thing would be made to look straight. I think having the hash to stream along as the game is played, should be a more convincing way a site should show they are truly provably fair since their code is not open source.

This is the reason why people need to learn how provably fair works because many have no idea how it works exactly and always assume a casino can cheat but they don't understand that the rolls are already determined before the bet is taken place.

I don't think any casino would do what he suggested, showing one seed and using another because eventually someone would of caught on and complained, they don't know whether who or not actually verifies the seeds.

I am one of those who didnt know exactly how provably fair system works. This stuff is beyond my knowledge. But, I am very sure that there are a bunch of people out there who knows exactly how this stuff works. And if something went wrong with provably fair, I do believe most of them will inform it to us.

Basically it works like this

You are given a server seed that is unhashed like "ZYX", lets assume the hashing method here is SHA256.

The bet usually takes the server seed + client seed + nonce.

Client seed is usually also something randon but you can alter it anyway you want. Lets say client seed is "321".

Nonce usually refers to the bet # at the start of the session and just increments by 1, very similar to bitcoin block hashing.

So your roll result will be something like "ZYX3210", "ZYX3211", "ZYX3212", etc, etc. That number is usually in hex and modulus is taken and its rounded so you get the result like "98.35", "82.34", "24.42".

So now that you know this you think you can predict the outcome correct? No because the ZYX is the unhashed seed which you are not given until the end of the session. The hashed seed of "ZYX" is "ABC" and the "ABC" you are given. This is just given so you can verify that they never changed their unhashed seed on you.

Recently someone logged into my liqui account but thankfully I didn't had anything there. And I have quickly enabled 2fa in all of my other trading accounts, I suggest everyone to do the same and if possible do it also with your gambling accounts.

I got a few of these as well. I even posted this in the Bitcoin Discussion section of Bitcointalk and it got ignored.

Basically I have never used Bitsler, and I am getting unauthorized login attempts from somewhere. I am not worried because I use unique passwords for every site and always use 2FA and mostly cold storage my stuff.

However we need to learn where this leak came from, its not from Bitsler. It might be another BCT breach?

I'd say buy bitcoin. Keep it in a safe storage. If you believe in bitcoin then you have a nice investment. Just make sure youre ready to lose big or earn big.

I am sure he knows that. He asked about trading stocks with BTC. Maybe he is not in North America and wants to trade stocks on the NYSE.
Basically 1Broker and Whalepool will let you do that however you are not buying the actual stock, you are buying something called CFD. This is for speculation only and has high margin.

Exactly what I was looking for, thank you!

and this https://jacobexmachina.blogspot.ca/2016/10/using-electrum-on-airgapped-machine.html

Don't use USB sticks back and forth between online and offline computer, use QR code with 2 old digital cameras.

Very cool, but how much of a risk are USB sticks in such a scenario?  (not trying to be contrarian, I'm asking this objectively)
From what I've read, one would have to be specifically targeted, and by some pretty sophiscated malware at that.  Does that bring the risk down to almost zero?  If so, I think I'd be confident enough with a near zero risk, as I'm setting up this cold storage temporarily, until I get my Ledger Nano S.
That said, please do let me know if my understanding/assumptions are incorrect!

CH

PS.  Additionally, would the attacker not require phyiscal access to the USB drive to engage in such an attack?

Its very rare actually but just in case avoid using USB sticks.

Go on craigslist or eBay and buy a couple 1-2MP digital camera's from like 2008 for $10 just to be safe.
