10741  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Price is crashing people!! get out while you can!! on: October 16, 2014, 07:41:21 AM
I would agree that selling some of your 50k bitcoins is actually a smart move. Being too greedy can leave you with nothing.

Yes, I agree with this.
When dealing with money and finance, people are usually not rational but emotional.
So, when price is going down, this is perfect opportunity to buy and earn more, when price goes up.
but, instead of this, people in panic selling everything and loosing any chance for good earning.

10742  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is satanic and Satoshi is lucifer! My uncle claims! on: October 16, 2014, 07:36:24 AM
I think that generally you can also blame (even more) Wall street, World bank, White house and UN as main evil forces in the world, if you use this logic.
Business is about money and earning so if this is the sin, what is the other option?
Live in the jungle, without money, jobs, houses etc.
I don't think that you should listen this religious fanatics.
Bitcoin belong to everybody, not just some limited group of people or organization, so we have here more financial freedom and democracy than with any other world currency.
10743  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: October 15, 2014, 08:06:10 AM
Jim Stephens, author of 101 proofs for God blog, just wrote very interesting article about his motivation to start such blog, and why he decided  to write “101 Proofs For God for the Common Man.”
You can read full article here: http://appliedunificationism.com/2014/10/13/blogging-about-101-proofs-for-god/#more-3005
You don't need to agree with his scientific theories but I think we should really appreciate his effort to explain and prove God based on scientific facts only, without any theological arguments.

The international break is so boring. I do not care much for the national teams. Frankly I would like to see England lose if it means our players come back uninjured.

The Wenger push on The Twattish One was fun, if only his team had a spine.

I hate international break too. I can't stand watching my national team playing because they play like shit despite having players from Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid. Wolfsburg and so on. And our national team manager is not what everybody expected.

Croatia played great game on Monday (6-0 victory) so I see improvements in the national team.
I think we should give more time to the team and team manager.
You can't build very good team in short time.
10745  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe in cosmic karma, or do you subscribe to causality? on: October 15, 2014, 07:44:28 AM
I don't believe in karma.
But, I believe in spiritual world and that spirits of people passed away, can visit their family members (if they have any unresolved issues from their earthly life) and work through them.
To outside people it looks that this person is come back (reincarnation) but in fact this is new person influenced with the spirit of other person.
10746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING: PAYPAL STARTED MASSIVE ACCOUNT BAN ON ANYTHING BITCOIN RELATED on: October 15, 2014, 07:20:15 AM
What particular bitcoin transaction is that? What if someone bought btc from me and paid thru paypal?

This guys is not reading too.  Grin Grin I think paypal has come to terms with btc. But still no official statement about this.

I also heard rumors about this but for now, I think that is more safe to use exchangers, exchange bitcoin to usd, and transfer usd to paypal and withdraw to bank account without any problem.
In this way paypal can't know that origin of this money was from selling bitcoin, so in this case there is no problem with them.
I already did this many times Smiley
10747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How soon will schoolbooks include Bitcoin :)? on: October 15, 2014, 07:11:29 AM
Never, unless we are victorious  Wink

Yes, I can agree with this statement.
There are so many things in the world and schools really can't teach kids about everything.
So, they will choose the ''most important'' things in the world and bitcoin is still not in this category.
10748  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you had a time machine... on: October 14, 2014, 10:55:32 AM
I think i will go back in the past, maybe 2 000 years ago, at the time of Roman empire or 500 years ago, at the time when Columbus discovered America.
It's so many great choices Smiley
10749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin seen on National T.V. during football game on: October 14, 2014, 10:46:20 AM
Such companies and tv ads will definitely attract more people to use Bitcoins.

I highly doubt it.

People are lazy by their nature, chances for bump in "Bitcoin" googling are very low in my opinion.

I don't agree with you.
Advertising doesn't mean that people will buy new product, or try new service, right away, as soon as they see new ad.
Maybe 1 of 100 or 1 of 1 000 prospect will do this.
but, if people will see advertising about bitcoin more and more often, eventually more and more people will become interesting in bitcoin and check out about this.
In this way, bitcoin will become more attractive and popular, and this is good way to become mainstream eventually.

Happy Thanksgiving! to all my buddies in Canada!
Enjoy your day, have fun!
10751  Other / Off-topic / Re: Celebration when price hits 420 on: October 14, 2014, 06:55:26 AM
417.99 on bitstamp

close enough.

But I feel we will touch it today

Yes, I feel to but I will celebrate when value of bitcoin exceeds $ 500.
When value of BTC exceeds $ 1000 (hopefully until the end of this year) things will indeed get much better Smiley
10752  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would u do if u become ruler of the world? on: October 13, 2014, 01:27:55 PM
What would u do if u become ruler of the world?
I will give ultimatum to all people in the world:
if you do not change and do not begin to live for each other, I will remove all the oxygen from the air so that you can't breathe, until you make agreement.
I think that all the problems in the world will be solved in the seconds! .)
10753  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: October 13, 2014, 01:22:20 PM
What a weekend what a games.
To many suppress this time.

But this is football and we all like it.

This season all clubs invested a lot $$ in new players (Real, Barcelona, Atletico, ManU, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea....), so Football supporters should enjoy watching all this great soccer games, specially in England and Spain.
Football league champion has been raised to an even higher level, with many more strong teams ready to win the Champions League this year.
Great Football year is ahead of us Smiley
10754  Other / Off-topic / Re: Wikipedia and bitcoin donation ?!? on: October 13, 2014, 01:12:45 PM
It's not even stated on their donation page either. If you click on the donate to wikipedia link on the left it's nowhere to be seen there either. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

I know this but I 've asked another thing :

Hey guys look ak this screen ( 10/11/2014 ) in your opinion why they didn't put the bitcoin button donation near the paypal / credit card buttons ?

http://imgur.com/pAOytSE

What is your opinion ?

If bitcoin isn't on their main donation page then why would they even put it next to Paypal? There's plenty of other ways you can donate to them but they're not all listed so I'm guessing they just put the most popular options.

It looks that they don't expect to many donations from bitcoin users.
Hopefully, this will change over time and bitcoin will take the lead Smiley
10755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi nakamoto is Sun God! a Solar deity! on: October 13, 2014, 01:02:15 PM
I think that Satoshi Nakamoto is average guy, divorced, with 3 kids and genius mind Smiley
He may be Japanese, but also he could be from any part of the world, France, Swiss, Poland, Russia, Africa etc.
but, who cares...
until we are all happy with bitcoins Smiley
10756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Apple Pay a threat to Bitcoin? on: October 13, 2014, 12:57:03 PM

If only there were a higher resolution time series. Then we could see the Bitcoin cart vary wildly between booms and busts.

LOL very interesting comparison but this is not true any more.
Value of bitcoin has fallen heavily since the beginning of the year and still we can't see the end of this trend.
Bitcoin still didn't become mainstream, and its value is very unstable.
So, yes, Apple pay can be a threat to Bitcoin.
10757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: October 13, 2014, 12:50:39 PM
Yes, I'm using my BTC regularly, exchanging to USD and cashing out through paypal.
Some of my expenses are already paid with bitcoin earnings Smiley
Way to go!
10758  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Homeless on: October 06, 2014, 12:33:12 PM
Maybe give them first place to stay, home.
After that teach them some skills so that they can survive on their own.
10759  Other / Off-topic / Re: What YouTube video are you watching now? on: October 06, 2014, 12:31:41 PM
Flying over Tisno bridge
This video made more for tourism promotion of this place than all advertising in last 20 years!

10760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if someone claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto? on: October 06, 2014, 12:26:30 PM
He hasn't come forward before, why would he now? Money obviously isn't a thing for him or he probably would have dumped his coins when they were 1k each. If he did want to come out into the spotlight then he would have so much media attention that he wouldn't be able to live a normal life. You never know, he may be a 30 year old genius living a normal life with a family and two kids in the suburbs Tongue.

I agree with this.
In fact, I think that he likes anonymity and privacy and don't want too much publicity and media pressure.
He probably have normal life, so why to change this and lose peace and jeopardized own safety and family.
