1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We need more bubbalexs and Hhampuzs in this space on: November 26, 2020, 08:08:03 AM
Let's start supporting jr member accounts managing new bounty projects, not all of them are scammers, the only way we can have good people like Hhampuz, Wapinter, bubbalex and others is to give helping hand and support new bounty managers, all pro bounty managers today starts from somewhere too, I have promoted few bounties from new bounty managers with jr member accounts and they are quit good, I even put one or two through about some headaches like POA and stuff, we need more bubbalex don't we? Before judging any new projects from newbies or jr members kindly check the projects out first, thanks

I Agree they are good bounty managers, and they always observe due diligence before accepting bounty projects to promote, and because of that, the risk was minimized that's why it's good for bounty participants. But on the other side of the topic, IMO, I think lower rank members can be also a good Bounty manager, if they are just doing some observations and researched before they accept any projects to promote, like what Hhampuz and Bubbalex is doing.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the long awaited bull run? on: November 25, 2020, 02:15:31 PM
Comparing the current market movement to that of 2017, it's kind of synonymous and a pointer to the start of bull run. Although some parameters differs and will have impact on this current one (if so) which might limit the longetivity and price impact and people might be carried away till the reverse begins to happen.

Please share your views if this is the bull run we are waiting for and how long should we expect it to last?

I believe it is, But we must admit it's very different from the 2017 bullish market trend. Because today's trend is about Bitcoin and other few top-ranking altcoins like ETH, XRP, and etc. While some other altcoins remain in just a very limited movement, despite they are one of the top rankings cryptocurrencies in the market thats why IMO, those cryptocurrencies that have not moved the price along with others have no demand simple as that.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What issues should be considered before investing in a new DeFi project token? on: November 25, 2020, 02:06:28 PM
Currently there are many DeFi projects in Crypto INDUSTRIES. And they give their tokens in various reward programs. But which project to invest in is proving to be very, very difficult. So which issues should be considered for that.

I think the team should be transparent it is one of the important aspects, and they should be known to investors because if they are anonymous it was very hard to trust them. and because the identity of the developer is unknown they are just easily run with the funds (exit scam) without any problem, second is the uniqueness of the project third part is the liquidity because I believe if there's enough liquidity it is more attractive to investors.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP miracle on: November 24, 2020, 08:42:48 AM
XRPs tremendous pump continues, that's unbelievable just have a look from the past one week you will be shocked. I had full faith on this coin and this one is one of favorite asset.

Ripple broke through the weeks major resistance level and it remains in the Green trend, so the next resistance level could 0.75 if this goes well I am sure the price will go upto 1$ more happy news are on the way enjoy each and every movements.

I think this is normal because XRP is in the Top three base on the Market ranking while Bitcoin and Ethereum done it so why the XRP cant? As we all know XRP has a lot of users an also has a big community, in 2017 at this Bitcoin price level XRP was already at the $1 price level but we cant compare 2017 to 2020 because it has a huge different 2020 has achieved an organic growth because many institutional investors are pouring in some fresh capital while 2017 is purely a bubble.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How true is this? on: November 24, 2020, 08:34:53 AM
Is it true that if altcoin season starts many projects will be forced to launch just to take advantage of the green market? There are some projects that failed to launch since 2019 I heard and some said that in 2017 many projects start rushing to take advantage of the market, how true is this?

IMO, I believe it is true many project developers have seen that the Bullish market is a good entry for their project. Because it may create positive traction to their token and that was the same happen in 2017 many projects are rushing to list their token in exchange because of that particular reason. But the results are many will gain some value and survive the "longest Bearish Market in 2018" while others didn't make it and eventually died in the process so take some precaution while investing with those "rush kind" of projects.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some till don't understand crypto and bitcoin on: November 23, 2020, 11:00:06 AM
SoftBank CEO said crypto will be useful but Bitcoin is hard to understand, but what is crypto without bitcoin? And again how is Bitcoin so hard to believe? Is there anyone on here is find bitcoin hard to understand? What's your thought on this?

I think the main reason why some people are still in a hard time to understand Bitcoin because they still believe the old accusation about Bitcoin, that it has not back by something to inherent value, thats why until now many people are still avoiding Bitcoin as a form of investment because they are afraid that it will lose its value over time. things like that are very common in the crypto space.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about IEO in altcoin season? on: November 23, 2020, 10:47:33 AM
This just came to my mind today as ive never think about it before, since bullrun happened in 2017 and ICO became popular and successful in that year too aren't you guy curious how IEO projects would have performed if bullrun was ongoing?  IEO became popular after bull market of 2017 right? The reason why ICO was so profitable in 2017 was because of the altcoin season don't you think? What about IEO in altcoin season? We are yet to see this

I dont think that the altcoin season is the main factor why the ICO is popular in 2017. Because as far as I know, it was driven by hype, people invest in ICO because there's a lot of speculation about it thats why many investors are caught in the act, by scammers and worthless token, In terms of doing an IEO during this time I think there's no problem about that, but dont expect the same results like the ICO craze in 2017 because today's bullish market trend is very different compared to 2017-2018 Bullrun.

1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season probably won't happen like the past? on: November 22, 2020, 08:49:01 AM
Is there a possibility that only bitcoin will remain bullish this year? Can altcoin season be left out? The reason why I'm asking is some are already doubting, what if only very few altcoins grows higher in value and things failed to go the same way as that of 2017? What's your answer?

I think we have shared the common observation Mate, 2020 Bullish trend is not like 2017, that most of the Altcoin price is going crazy.
IMHO, today's Bullish trend is more on organic growth and not artificially induce unlike in 2017 bullish trend, thats why we can visibly notice that not all altcoins are gaining much price increased but only those cryptocurrencies that have a demand.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying Ripple for the XRP Spark token drop? on: November 21, 2020, 07:28:14 AM
Hi,

With the upcoming promotion whereby you are offered free Spark tokens on 12th December depending on how many XRP you own I was wondering if people here think this is worth buying into?

I have seen a lot of suggestions that XRP is going to take off recently and this token drop along with the potential regulation from the SEC have been stated as the main reasons.

https://flare.ghost.io/claiming-spark-faq/

Is anybody here going to be buying into this giveaway?

Mate it has no guarantee that those forks coins will be the same worth as the original coin, thats why dont use it as a reason to buy XRP because what if the XRP price will dump after the fork just like what happened in the BCH fork people are hurry to buy the coin BCH in order to receive the airdrop coins but before the forking event the BCH price fell down that ended losses to those who bought BCH at high price things like that is not impossible to happen so just make sure that you are aware of what you are doing.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DEX must take over on: November 21, 2020, 07:16:01 AM
Decentralized exchanges need to take over centralized exchanges in the future, going fully decentralized is what makes more sense around crypto, centralized exchanges can be controlled by the law and government, I heard court is asking users data from centralized exchanges too, just imagine if all exchanges in crypto space are all DEXs, I know that DEX has its flaws too but it's safer than centralized exchanges

IMO, the DeX is more secure compared to CeX but the problem is the trading volume because the decentralized exchange is not that attractive to many users because it's not users friendly, and low trading volume, These is the most common issue that DeX users were talking about. On the KYC issue, it's okay with me as long as it was legitimate because as law-abiding citizens we must follow our laws in our respective countries, you dont to be afraid about KYC as long as you didn't do illegal or against the law.
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 20, 2020, 12:34:31 PM
We all know that the price of Ethereum will grow when bitcoin is growing, everyone knows what happened in 2017. When bitcoin hit the price of $17k - $18k then the ethereum price was already over $1k - $1.2k, but now when bitcoin price is $17k but the ethereum price is very difficult to break the $500 price, shouldn't ethereum current price should is $1k

Actually what happened to ethereum?

Mate thing is different now compared to the 2017-2018 Bullish period. Because the growing price of Bitcoin today is due to the institutional players/investors that pouring some capital into the market thats, why we can't, say that this price boom is just a bubble, Its the same as Ether actually Eth has already breached the $500 dollars price level today. I believe in December things might change in all top-ranking cryptocurrencies in the market If Bitcoin price continues to grow top altcoins will also grow next.
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more important bitcoin or fiat? on: November 20, 2020, 12:23:29 PM
IHMO, I think you have a point, for now, that cryptocurrencies are not yet totally accepted as legitimate currencies by our respective governments because they only treat Bitcoin as a valuable Digital asset and not a currency, base on that reality the Central bank issued currency called fiat is the dominant currency to buy anything that we need. but I believe soon it will be changed because world commerce goes cashless and this time the CBDC's and cryptocurrencies will be more useful.
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot can take place of Ethereum? on: November 19, 2020, 01:55:09 PM
Polkadot offers better scalability than the ethereum blockchain. It offers relay chain, cross-blockchain features, forkless network, decentralized governance and all these are not available in the ethereum network. Actually, Polkadot offers all the solutions to those problems that the ethereum network can not. So many projects are using the Polkadot network. Do you think Polkadot is really Ethreum killer?

Well in the crypto industry everything is possible. By the way, Polkadot is just one of the many competitors that want to dethrone the King of smart-contract which is Ethereum, But as we all know in the crypto industry old platforms has a lot of supporters that's why it's also an important factor why Ethereum is the leading smart-contract service provider but who knows in the near future maybe a twist of events will determine if Ethereum will still remain as the leading smart-contract platform.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Kucoin Hackers on OUSD... on: November 19, 2020, 01:42:22 PM
Very Sad news about OUsd. Origin protocol confirms attack on OUSD vault.
Methew liu co founder of origin protocol confirms attack on OUSD vault. Origin Protocol has announced its yield-generating stablecoin protocol, OUSD, has been hacked and drained of at least $7 million. On monday 16 nov he confirmed that A attack on OUSD vault. Team is finding the damage and finding how hackers gain access to it.

This is bad news, to the industry as well! I think every platform should consider checking its security features now so that these hacking incidents will stop or maybe the risk will minimize. IMO, because of these incidents, many investors are already doubting the safety of its funds and investment because every platform is considered a target by these hackers.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof - The long Hodl on: November 18, 2020, 09:33:59 AM
Anyone who was into crypto this time 3 years ago
will remember the run up to the ATH of $19783.

It was a wild time in December of that year, there
were big gains made and alternatively a lot of losses
where some people FOMO'd in close to the ATH
and either sold at a loss or are still holding what they
had back then.

How many had the forsight to HODL what they had
for the next bull market, which is now?

I would say, not many!

Eventhough we (the positive) have been preaching
about the long haul and a look to the future.

These times are proof that when you buy high, not panic and HODL for the future is rewarding

How Ironic my friend, for me that was only an excuse, But today I believe things have changed, because many crypto investors are aware and already learned from the mistakes of the past.  because if we compared the market statistics today, at this Bitcoin price level those top-ranking cryptocurrencies should be skyrocketed by now but as we see it today it didn't happen so what's the reason? let's find out.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA) dead? on: November 18, 2020, 08:58:34 AM
we're used to get free coins every year for holding BCH.

i just sold my BCHA free coins, and got nice profits (~$2000) for free. thanks BCH for the forks it has.

Well, thats good for you mate, that was an awesome profit just for free, Sadly my BCHA on Binance has not active yet not tradable, and even not movable? I dont know what's going on with Binance?
Because it's almost three days already after the fork but the BCHA is not active yet. It is better to activate the withdrawal function now if it is possible so that those BCHA holders have any chances to liquidate the BCHA and send them to other exchanges that currently traded the forked coin.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 18, 2020, 08:30:43 AM
You shouldn't blame me from running away from any crypto project that has a nigerian as one of its members, I don't hate this country but it's majority of its people are something else, not all nigeriana are bad though but .......here is a news I came across yesterday,

Nigeria Authorities Put mastermind of Inksnation and Pinkoin blockchain projects on wanted list

The full details can be read on here too

https://news.bitcoin.com/nigerian-authorities-put-mastermind-of-the-inksnation-crypto-scam-on-wanted-list/

Thats the right thing to do and it should be the case in all scammers thats why the blockchain project team/developers should undergo the KYC procedure especially if the project has any fundraising campaign like ICO the team should be known to the public unless the project is not doing any fundraising events because those people are already spending their own money, time and effort thats why it less likely becomes an exits scam. If possible dont invest with those unknown team/developers many of them in the Defi space dont fall with those shallow alibis beware of those fake/unknown project developers.
1099  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin penetrates into $17 000 on: November 17, 2020, 02:51:32 PM
What else is there to say, numbers speak for themselves.
$20k by the end of 2020 seems more realistic by the day.

There was a sell order of $6Million at $17 000 price point

I agree with you mate it's highly possible that $20k will be reached within this month if this kind of trend will continue,

By the way, the $6Million sell wall was successfully broken thats why Bitcoin price now was traded at $17,100 it's another record high for nearly three years.
The next target is $18K so I hope that Bitcoin will not lose its steam to break another All-time high record.
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin continues the positive trend today, is the altcoin market in trouble? on: November 17, 2020, 12:28:37 PM
today I read several articles. and I found an interesting article. the article was titled if bitcoin is sideways then it allows altcoins to rally higher.

you can read it here> https://cointelegraph.com/news/sideways-bitcoin-price-allows-defi-ethereum-and-altcoins-to-rally-higher

what I want to ask is what if bitcoin is not sideways ?. as at this time bitcoin continues its positive trend, BTC is past $ 16k. Will this put the altcoin market into trouble?

I'm looking at ethereum, and some altcoins like nothing has changed. I am afraid that if the bitcoin trend continues the altcoin market will decline. so maybe now is a good time to sell altcoins before that happens.

what do you think my choice is wrong?

Yes, thats correct Bitcoin price continues to gain momentum, and now conquering the $17K price level. But I was wondering why the Altcoins are not gaining much increase unlike before during 2017-2018 Bullrun when the BTC price was at this level most altcoins are already gaining massive price increase. I think your right Altcoins may be in trouble now thats why it's not gaining much price momentum but it's only my opinion I'm not sure about it.
