DID ANY ONE GET THE PI TO RECOGNIZE THE BOARDS ?
when you plug it in and go through the pi type killall cgminer then type cgminer -DT better if done through putty should come up with a load of info. if it dosent recognise any boards yo may need to check your backplabe is connected correctly. if it sees boards you should be good to go. head into the amt 192.168.1.xxx and click the save and restart cgminer. may need to do it a coup[le of times but it should start mining and make sure that little (floppy drive?) power connector is plugged in to the backplane. There's a pic of that further back. Does anyone have a connection diagram or do customers all have to discover this on their own? Man.... these AMT folks are the worst. Think this is the closest we've come to that https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=304605.msg6204573#msg6204573now the 24 hr dry run is over we will disassemble the miner tomorrow and will post a full tut on how to install and set up the pi, blades, back plane and psu. how to get connected and also what tools you will need to aid you in usage. hopefully be up and done by 6/7pm gmt. all being well Thanks for taking the time to do AMT's job. I'm sure there are many who could use your input and limited experience with these things. Looking forward to it. We asked him to do it because reggie is a nice guy that seems to have a handle on our product, one less thing to think about is always good. Are you saying that customers need to splice wiring of their power supplies to get this working?

Guys,
Getting back to everyone now. New back planes are running. Apologies if anyone received poorly shipped miners. Threats of legal issues have set us back financially and production wise as well, but we'll get through it. Several miners went out over the last few days as well, not sure if it was anyone from this thread.
Update is 61 miners/rigs between last week and this week so far.
Please don't think we went missing or forgot about you or are stalling as some of you have suggested, we're currently figuring out realistic options to hopefully satisfy everyone in the end.
Still waiting for a response on what you will do with my physically damage miner and the missing backplane. Also, where are the instructions to hook this up?

Hell,if you need a "whip",the connector & whatever inches of wire length,I can send ya a few from old dead PSU's I have layin around ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) PM me & you pay shipping, problem solved ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Thanks but I've already made an order. Thinking back I should've made a bulk order for all the other AMT victims. Maybe I should make a "AMT fixit kit" with all the parts that should had been included in the first place. No problem,I have a bunch if anyone wants em ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Got some with the male 4pin molex too. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi63.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fh148%2FBigblock462%2FDSC02555_zps6cdc2ecd.jpg&t=663&c=0LBJSsFBNjeO_g) How many of these are needed for the backplane?

Regtable said it is a floppy drive connector that powers the back-plane. Why are all these connectors a mystery? Isn't there a manual somewhere? No. No manual. No instructions. No chicken scratch on a bar napkin. Nothing. These AMT folks are insane! What do they hope to achieve by shipping miners that need assembly without instructions?

Thomas, how much can you do?
How about any other holders, who else can and wants to pitch something in to make IXC the most advanced coin on earth. That way I don't have to hear the features BS anymore.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but in a competive technology environment, it's all about who has the best features. Do I really have to explain to you the meaning of open source? Are you really using features and competitive in the same sentence [as they pertain to cryptos]? What competitive advantages do Colored Coins and Counterparty coins have once we take their goods [FOR FREE] and copy and paste them on top of iXcoin? Like I said, I'm sick of hearing all the bullshit about features; it's a complete joke given this is all open source and I can take anyone's innovation and use it 100% for free. Why is Counterparty worth more than IXC today? There are three ways for a coin to be perceived to have value. (1) Community Adoption - DOGE is a good example. (2) Technology Differentiation - Namecoin is an example. the 3rd is of course security. Which IXC partially does have. Good luck trying to figure out how to do (1) or (2) without making any investments.

AMT... send me a FEDEX shipping label so I can return the damaged boards!
Nobody responds to my emails so I am letting you folks know through this thread.

Pretty sure these are the PCIe socket end (the 6-pin ones), made by Molex from Newark, poke around the products for it and should find the receptacles w/pins. I'd think Digikey would have them as well. http://www.newark.com/MarketingProductList?storeId=10194&catalogId=15003&langId=-1&orderCode=20X4087,23X5846,23X5847,23X5821,23X5822,23X5823,23X5840,23X5841,23X5842,23X5843,23X5844,23X5845,23X5828,23X5829,23X5830,23X5831,23X5832,23X5833,23X5834,23X5835,23X5836,23X5837,23X5838,23X5839,23X5825,23X5824,23X5826,23X5827,20X4603&ICID=HP-CC-Molex I'm getting some of them myself to replace the PCIe wiring feeding my Ants. All this PSU talk got me to check the voltage drop over the factory cables: 0.75v lost between the PSU and the terminals on the Ants. Gotta remedy that and since the connectors can take up to 12ga wire - perfect solution.. Thanks dude. May need to buy a couple just in case AMT disappears for good. I cannot believe I paid $6,000 for a miner that can't be powered on because it just lacks the necessary components and the manufacturer refuses to respond to support questions.

Does anyone have a spare backplane that I can acquire?
AMT (Bitmine.ch reseller) forgot to send me a backplane. They aren't very responsive to customer demands, so I need to source that backplane elsewhere.
Anyone can help?

Anyone know where I can buy those white plastic power connectors?
I may need to source those just in case AMT does replace my broken boards!!
AMT service is so pathetic that I need to go on this board to beg for parts!
Anyway, just in case AMT reads this thread:
I need a BACKPLANE!
I need an RMA to return 3 damaged boards!
Order #961!

Good you got it working... hope I can get mine working with your help! Anyway, this is what I got when they shipped it: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fs7.postimg.org%2Fw14heoeez%2FCAM00201.jpg&t=663&c=oIwsvwxotxP9sw) I may be able to salvage 3 boards... the other two have their power connectors ripped out due to shipping... hope AMT gives will let me RMA the boards.

AMT, I need a BACKPLANE!
To test if the heavily damaged unit you sent me partially works!
You never send me one, so I got this machine that has no way to communicate with its controller!
Can you send me one? Order #961

Hi, it would be really great to have an actual wallet for IxCoin.
But i have another question about heartbleed: - this bug can only affect you, if you used the new payment protocol ( what is it exactly?) , so if you uses only the standard functions (i mean also with other altcoinwallets) and the optione "rpcssl" in the *.conf is disabled or not activated then nothing can happen or i am wrong?
if you know this i would be happy to hear a short explanation if you want.
Thank you
visit www.ixcoin.co and download the wallet you need. payment protocol is only used by merchants. don't know of any IXC merchants, so it is a none issue!

I think ixc community needs a 0.9.1 wallet.
Agreed. Is Frictionless interested in doing this? I'll look into it, but not really in my priority list. The heart bleed issue however only affects the new payment protocol on a 0.9.x Frictionless, what about adding colored coins and/or Counterparty? Thanks. Want to start a bounty campaign for this?

Voting? IXC does not need voting.

Still waiting for a response for my damaged boards and missing backplane.
Order #961 ... I got a pending case with Delaware Consumer Affairs.
I will give them a call today. To further discuss the issue.

Order #961 Appears to have been shipped.
I have the tracking # and it should arrive today.
I will test it out when it arrives.
However, anyone interested in buying it from me.... just PM me.
The system comes with 5 boards with an additional board and panel coming promised by AMT.
I got the shipment. Bad packaging. Damaged boards. No back plane. Can't test. :-(

Finally got home from vacation.
I got my shipment on Friday. Took some photos:
(image removed to save space)
Anyway... was going to to test each individual board to see if some of them were okay.
Unfortunately, AMT DID NOT BOTHER TO SEND ME A BACKPLANE!
holy crap! no spine I'm really dead on the water here. Not only are 2-3 boards damaged, I don't even a backplane to test the 2 other boards that may have survived their shoddy shipment. How can they send $6,000 worth of equipment without even having a check list of what they need to include! I've sent them a message today, but got no message back.
