According to i286 ticker, ask sum is approaching 60k coins. Is that accurate or is the API screwed up again?

33 679 BTC on mtgox.

Where are you getting that number and why does i286 report otherwise?

I wouldn't be surprised if over 90% of trading volume on ALL the exchanges is by a tiny handful of manipulators. This news will probably cause the next major crash.
1085  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 21, 2013, 09:35:29 PM
I think the manipulators might have all died in a plane crash.

Yeah, where is everybody? This place needs some action.

Maybe the manipulators are hodling?  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Satoshi is Thomas Edison: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1tdizc/this_guy_claims_thomas_edison_created_a_bitcoin/

Hot off the press, and back from the dead.

A reasonable proposition if one assumes that Edison also invented time travel. I'm more than willing believe this and many other things that tickle my humor.

If Dogecoin was so genius, Bitcoin could just incorporate it's algorithms or whatever, while maintaining all the advantages that Bitcoin already has (first mover, infrastructure, media attention, currency acceptance, etc.).

But it wouldn't be called Dogecoin, which is precisely why Dogecoin is such a great investment.  Wink Wink Wink

I've been saying house of cards for months.... You guys never listen to me.  Angry Angry Cheesy

its not a house of card tho....

Doge is a house of cards

Disagree. Doge has the most intrinsic value of all altcoins. It's the true successor to bitcoin.

I hate to give the bulls some ammunition, but this is getting scary again: http://www.marketwatch.com/investing/bond/10_year

Economists will begin freaking out and spamming blog posts about the end of the world when it hits 3%.

Looks like we are getting ready for another dive.

Next bottom will be in the $250-$300 range. Then rebound up to $500-ish. Finally, crash down to $100-$150 before end of year.

I strongly disagree.

Discuss.
Do you not see us retesting the low?

Perhaps retesting the low. Maybe a bit lower. But not 100-150 for sure. Not close to 250 either. My main guess is that lows are in though.

Walsoraj, you didn't explain why you believe what you said. Why should I explain myself if you don't? As for calling me an idiot, how old are you?

Discuss.

Because my prediction is self-evident to any person of average or higher intelligence.

State your reasons and I will then explain why you are an idiot.

Chinese just provided a blueprint for how to kill bitcoin. Outlaw fiat deposits but allow withdrawals.

Strongly suggests that the only reason most, if not all, traders buy bitcoin is to acquire more fiat.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Of course it does. Adoption follows speculation. We are at the speculation phase.

While fiat blocking is certainly a BTC weakness right now, not all countries can just shutdown exchanges as easily as the Chinese can. Getting real sick of China's shit right now though, hahaha.

Not a healthy foundation.

Yeah, because in America we always do what the Chinese government does. Been like for centuries. China leads. America follows. Smiley Walsoraj is still a moron.

I didn't say we are going to follow, you dumb shit. Just pointing out how easy it is for a gov to tank the price.
