1081  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: World's First Physical Bitcoin wallet on: March 28, 2016, 08:53:41 PM
It has a display or the public address is printed on the device? If not i don't see how you can know how many bitcoins are loaded.
As you can see from the picture, there is no display as such. You just have to plug in the device to your machine and maybe the device driver along with in build software program like their own wallet will be used to deal with addresses.Something like Connect your Usb to your Pc : Open up their wallet, transfer coins into it.Hand over the USB to other guy who can connect it to his PC and retrieve those coins.
1082  Other / Meta / Re: would there be any interest in a spam/fud removal bot if i open sourced it? on: March 28, 2016, 08:51:11 PM
its a bot for self moderated threads, so what is considered spamming would be up to the thread moderators.

not sure how to move the thread

Self moderated threads can pretty much be used to remove the unwanted posts by the thread moderators.Do you really think we need a bot for that ? Also if the bot needs the user to sign up using a third party link ,forget it,no one would risk putting their passwords on other links. There is not a specific API of smf you can access ,as far as I know, curl is used to parse data .Not sure about actual moving the thread, mods will do the needful.Just for information you can move the thread by clicking on move thread option on the bottom left side of the thread.
1083  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: creating an on-line wallet on the tor network on: March 28, 2016, 08:32:55 PM
Why would you want to create a wallet on Tor ? Isn't the normal blokchain.info or other online wallets anonymous enough ? Roll Eyes You can simply parse the scrips from Blokchain's Api and implement a wallet too.If you wish to start from scratch, read through SPV's from Bitcoin.org documentation.
1084  Other / Meta / Re: would there be any interest in a spam/fud removal bot if i open sourced it? on: March 28, 2016, 08:29:56 PM
As far as I remember Mitchell has a bot which does something Similar (the mod I mean). Also mind moving it to Project Development Section ? Much exposure for developers there.

How you'd you know a particular user is spamming ? Plans to use NLP ?
1085  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: World's First Physical Bitcoin wallet on: March 28, 2016, 08:27:33 PM
Not sure if  I should be happy or crying. If you can walk with it around, what difference does it makes from the cash ? You might lose it,you might get robbed .I haven't checked out all the features of the USB drive but they haven't specifically mentioned it will be safer as the private keys lies within the hardware . How would it connect without having a wireless connectivity anyway ?
1086  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to (seriously) earn Bitcoins for dummies. on: March 28, 2016, 08:24:10 PM
I suggest you remove Signature Campaigns as a way to earn bitcoins. It dissolves the entire purpose of this forum. The main objective is to contribute to the forum constructively ,you get few bucks for it,its just an advantage and not something your livelihood should dwell upon.People just come here for signature campaigns ,in fact people want to join such campaigns to earn bitcoins without having a clue how it works. This topic will be searched throughout google, don't want you to mislead a lot of young minds to dwell on signature campaigns without having a clue how bitcoins work.I request you to remove signature campaigns.
1087  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: New Project; Distributed Hierarichical Blockchain on: March 26, 2016, 06:47:38 PM
We're at this point, bitcoin is being labelled as a known Ponzi. Implementing the blokchain in a hierarchical format will surely make the suspicion come true .The model you proposed doesn't look distributed but more centralized.A node will have basically two more child nodes with more leaf nods. The parent node shall have a Root Node.Seems like a Pyramid scheme to me.
1088  Other / Off-topic / Re: Using Cubitz to encrypt file with my private keys? on: March 26, 2016, 06:37:28 PM
I have never heard about that software.I don't advise using it either. No third party online/software tools should be trusted with your private keys unlike physical wallets. From what I understood, they offer saying of documents and stuff with a few encryption tools. In case you lose access to your saved passwords or specifically keys, they can recover accounts for you. This is bless and a curse. If they can recover such accounts, they can easily have access to your private keys. Its upto you to trust them or not.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet with lowest transcation fee on: March 26, 2016, 06:32:26 PM
Blockchain.info .Not they have lowest transaction fee but they have enough to get your transactions confirmed within minutes which is  bliss I'd say. Most of the desktop wallets have function to set your own transaction fees.Low fees=Low priority=wait hours or days for transaction to get confirmed.

1091  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: March 22, 2016, 07:43:44 AM
I want to see Bitcoin being incorporated from where the electricity is being generated, to the point where people pay for at the charging stations. There should be mini stations built into parking meters on the street and you will only have to scan a QR code with it's address and pay for the electricity with micro payments. I can already think of many other applications where people can have charging stations built into their post boxes at home and where strangers can charge up and pay for electricity in emergency situations, when they run out of electricity. ^hmmmm^

In the name of Holy Christ. What did I just read ?Bitcoins incorporated from where electricity is being generated.Have you ever thought of reading through any of the actual concepts including Bitcoins, how do they work, electricity, how charges are being transferred ? That post of yours sir is the main reasons why parents force us to go to School.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why is my bitcoin synchronisation SO SLOW on: March 22, 2016, 07:37:07 AM
Mayby it also depends on how many people u download the blocks from, and mayby thee transfering is slow. I am sure it is not my internet that sucks.
Did you really post this for contribution or increasing your post counts ? If the internet speed shouldn't have mattered then he might just use his phone's 2g connection right ? Much cheaper data costs.

Each full node in the Bitcoin network independently stores a block chain containing only blocks validated by that node.
Please have a read through this concept https://bitcoin.org/en/developer-guide#peer-discovery
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: March 22, 2016, 07:31:28 AM
probably the signature campaign is the best way to achieve that much which OP asking about.. signature campaign paying 0.3$ to 0.4# per posts. so if we write 5 to 6 post a hour we can make more then 1$ per hours.
we can do other works also. like writing articles for blogs and websites and offering our skills.

Do you know the parallel damages caused by that to the forum or other genuine users ?
If you're only posting to earn a few cents in this forum,no matter how accustomed your posts are, they won't be constructive enough.
More posts=More senseless posts.
Turn pages over in the same thread, you will understand what I'm talking about.
1094  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Core or Classic? on: March 22, 2016, 07:19:12 AM
This is the never ending discussion.Danny Hamilton's post sufficed all your questions. The block debate or the core/classic war is restricted to only people's opinions. The outcome is just speculated. One shouldn't be making any real assumptions based on other's views. Its subjective to choose,core/classic.I support core, have faith in core developers.
1095  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in SEA. on: March 22, 2016, 07:13:34 AM
What does SEA stand for ? Seattle ? As much as I'm aware, there is always an other alternative of cashing bitcoins to Fiat.It involves verification of few documents but legit transfers unlike reversible paypal.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's Inspiration - A New Clue? on: March 22, 2016, 07:11:56 AM
Still an illusion. What if Satoshi Nakamoto is a privately encrypted name ,decrypting which gives the name of the Real person.Could just be a possibility.Maybe that Name is just a private key to other clues.Too hypothetical, isn't it ?
1097  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: "bizerinm" scammed me! Took my 0.10 BTC for absolutely nothing! on: February 22, 2016, 02:38:09 PM
You should have seen his trust before sending him the money dude.He seems like an absolute scammer. Not sure if you're getting your 0.10 back again or the bitgold.
1098  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] ★☆★ Xotika.TV Signature Campaign - Earn Bitcoins the sexy way! ★☆★ on: February 16, 2016, 10:50:49 AM
Are you really going to be so strict and not pay some of us for forgetting about that 1 post in xotica thread ?

That is borderline cruel. Loosing one week of advertising due to one silly post ?
Rules are rules, and seriously is making more than 25 posts and just one post on the Xoita thread that hard for you? Accept your mistake and move on, you agreed to the rues when you joined
When I did not receive the payment on time. The campaign Manager noteak paid through his own wallet just to keep up with the rules. If he can do that then he has all the rights to cancel payouts if the rules are not followed.Instead of writing here trying messaging him I'm sure he understands.
1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does sports betting works ? on: February 04, 2016, 03:10:13 PM
Basically ,yes you bet against the players who have bet on the opposite odds.Considering a soccer match, the bets will be placed on both the team, one has to win and the other will lose.House will pay for the profits of the winners of course from the money that was placed on the losing team. But again these numbers could be even/odd so house has to pay the winners. Most of the times this is covered by looking at the bigger picture.
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to trade? on: February 04, 2016, 02:59:44 PM
Depends on what exactly you would like to trade?Simply trading btc's for fiat and visa versa is a good start too.Buying the btc in bulk when the prices goes down (like right now) and selling it off once the price rises should be good for a beginner. You can trade altcoins too but that need some idea about the coins and how exactly cryptocurrencies work,so this is like an advanced level.
