1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: R9 Nano Modded Rom on: January 21, 2017, 01:27:40 AM
I have my nano's running with a custom timing which also improves quite a bit.

Due to the work that i have already put into all of this, i'm not going to release this for free.

I will however release other things in the future Smiley

Greetings!
haha lulz "its not free" custom bios inst hard job  Cheesy

damn i miss old times when ocing tahiti, what result stock r9 280x? tahiti easy to get 1200mhz but crazy sucking power
rx 480 8gb got 285 sol at stock clock/mem without asm, what speed under linux on asm mode?
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.1 (Windows/Linux) on: January 17, 2017, 11:30:37 AM
AMD VEGA running 970 sol at 100watt, damn Huh

nano on new driver for windows running 4% better on optiminer 1.4.0
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.0 (Windows/Linux) on: January 14, 2017, 05:34:04 AM
hi. how much sol with a rx 470?
我想問一下大家 3xx is better than 4xx??
if you have free electric, then chose tahiti card its very cheap and easy ocing, without bios modification,
if you dont, get nano instead, or rx 470
nano bios mod = the only way you get best sol/watt, using tool ocing like msi afterburner wont get best efficiency even -96mv is the limit,
bios mod can get you around 0.88v which is arround 85watt power consumption
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Buyer Beware - MSI RX 470 Quality on: January 12, 2017, 12:37:51 PM
msi is good gpu,
in my country they very expensive,
just bought xfx, quite cheap, but damn good, silent, cooler, running at the lowest 0.88v very stable mining eth, zec, xmr
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Optiminer/Zcash v1.3.0 (GPU, Linux, AMD) on: January 12, 2017, 12:32:58 PM
what setting to run some part of GPU?
on cm i use -di

zec is dead, already back to ETH for all my RX, nano stil on zec
lol, cm need big jump on new card, lets the old put on the rest
1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v10.0 (Windows/Linux) on: January 08, 2017, 12:57:30 PM
I tried with 15.12. and pasting bin files from Linux version.

Was getting 2000 h/s on Claymore 9.3 with 4x 290x and 2x290, on v10 getting 2005.
Tried with -a 0 1 2 and 3, and max is 2005.

With optiminer getting 2060, so I'm staying on optiminer for now Cheesy.

yeah optiminer is the fastest amd miner at the moment
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which card to choose from RX 480 8G? on: January 07, 2017, 04:06:12 PM
Good afternoon,

I have in mind to mount a rig of 6 rx 480 cards, I want to mine dual-mining ETH + DCR, the objetibo is to get at least 30MH?

I am indifferent if 2 or 3 fans work in a cool place.

I currently have a rig with 6 Sapphire 11260-07-20G Radeon RX 480 8GB GDDR5, I can not raise them from 27.5 MH dual-mining, I do not know why I can not get more performance, hence I want to try other models of The 480 rx.

Thank you very much Wink
xfx 480 gtr version, silent,cool,good speed,power efficient
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Minig altcoins for beginner on: January 07, 2017, 04:04:16 PM

waiting new version from cm
while
Optiminer Version 1.3.0 released!
New speeds (stock card, linux):
R9 Nano: 390 S/s
R9 290X: 285 S/s
RX 480: 260 S/s

yaay nano speed match now with gtx 1070
the king of fiji

i tried this miner faster than cm 9.3 3-5% under windows, but super stable no spike power
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.3 (Windows/Linux) on: January 04, 2017, 10:12:23 AM
hello guys. again me Grin i need a little help.  Would it be a problem to use two different chipset graphics cards? Such as rx 480 and r9 290x?

nah - shouldn't be. I run a nVidia GTX along side a RX480, hah.
hahaha:) really?  If it s working i am thinking of buying r9 290x
yeah you can run 290x with 480 , just buy nano instead of 290x the price is same
even nvidia can run with amd card on same special msi motherboard,
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: December 30, 2016, 11:25:58 AM
[WARNING]

EWBF is fake. He is using our EQM to make 2% fee on it.
He is always one step behind as you may noticed.

It is sad, because we have paid big bucks for the EQM's source, just to protect our miners from the dev fee. And here we go again, a dev fee. He is not a Robin Hood, he is practically leasing our miner for a 2% dev fee! Is this something you support? I would understand he would stole it and release the source, but no. He is egoistic like that.

Actions like this are delaying our miner development and its quality.

STOP using his software or ask him to release HIS source first.

hmm big bucks  Grin Grin Grin Grin
both of you need to realese the source and compare it  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

No, now 430 hash for 1070...

See edits. Still isn't worth it...

Further Edit:

Efficiency Setup - at equal power use for comparison without power costs impacting the analysis.
                    Edit:       Edit:
Card   Price   Hash/s   Power (W)   H/$
1070  $400    380        100            0.95
Fury   $260    300        100            1.15

Full Bore Setup
Card   Price   Hash/s   H/$
1070  $400    430      1.075
Fury   $260    350      1.346

The 1070 has a long way to go before it's worth a look.  The entry cost of $400/card is just too steep to overcome without some serious hash.

it's wrong, the 1070 do 380 at 100watt not 330

If you did a little math yourself you'd see at 380 it's still not wrong.  AMD is still ahead of Nvidia in H/$ running efficiently AND running full bore.  Even with the adjusted numbers the 1070 is still 20% less H/$.  AMD dead?? It's still in the LEAD.

Edit: AMD guys are quibbling over 0.5% using ssl and 2%-4% in pool variance.
Nvidia guys are paying a 20% premium just to play the game and screaming victory.  It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

it is because 380 sol is always better than 300 sol at the same wattage, you need 25% more uselesses components with 300 sol to have the same total hash

you must remember than on large scale the less rig you haev that do the job the better
even i dont have nvidia, pascal its truly win, amd fanboys need to admite that,
well considering to build nvidia rig,
hope vega or polaris refresh bring amd to the top again Shocked
haha old gpu will die soon the tahiti king wont pop again

380 sol is always better than 300 sol at the same wattage...?? Not when that 27% increased hash costs 54% more $$.  That statement shows a complete lack of understanding ROI.  Cost matters.

So lets take a look at the extra components.

MB: $80
RAM: $40
CPU: $40
HDD: $40
OS: $40
PSU: $160
5 USB Risers: $50
16x Shielded Riser: $50
Case and Fans: $100
Total: $600

Fury Rig: $600 + $1,560 = $2,160
1070 Rig: $600 + $2,400 = $3,000

Card   Price     Hash/s   Power (W)   H/$
1070  $3,000    2,280    100            0.76
Fury   $2,160    1,800    100            0.83

Full Bore Setup
Card   Price     Hash/s    H/$
1070  $3,000    2,580    0.86
Fury   $2,160    2,100    0.97

So as you can see, even with the cost of supporting parts included the Fury is still a better deal in H/$ running efficiently and running full bore.

For those asking about the Fury power usage, this has been covered over and over again on the forum.  I did the math, you can do your own reading.  There are over 100 Furys running rock solid 300H/s with 100W.  And as others have pointed out, the Nano is pushing 325H/s with 90W-95W.
haha amd noobs, show me thats 325 sol in nano at 90watt?? show me yur wattmeter, lol

Stock GTX 1070 = 360 Sol/s @ 150 W
OC GTX 1070 (clock @ 2050, mem @ 4500) = 410 Sol/s @ 170 W
Efficient GTX 1070 (TDP 50%, mem @ 4500) = 330 Sol/s @ 95 W

hi
as the difficulty of ethereum is rising day by day which means less profit, do you think that by the end of that gpu mining will be dead or there will be some hope to mine some new coins in the near future
i need your help cause i am planing to invest in gpu mining
thanks
well when you asking like this, and yu invest yur money on gpu, it will be dead on yur side, true miner, wont asking something like this, better yu invest to another thing
and eth will switch to pos(end of mining) around 6-8 next month
