Grin seems to complicated. Exchanging files, both sender and receiver having to be online and actively do something, etc. This does not seem like a winner to me at first sight. Very interesting but also very complex.

Too bad they launched with only Linux mining software. The need for high level GPUs  for GPU mining with more than 4GB also makes this a rich Western World man’s game for now.

But any intellectual endeavour is good. That we may learn a lot from this project.

need miner for gpu with memory less then 4 gb.

From what I have read, this will probably not happen (the algo just needs much RAM to run).

Ha ha, I was already wondering what the nam Obyte was in my unread topics  Cool

Meanwhile, life went on. And so did Nimiq.

The FUD gang can entertain themselves until ... it... stops... like a candle in the wind. They do not change anything. Totally irrelevant.

Kind of sad actually  Roll Eyes

Great!

Where can we drop/find UFR seeds?

Remember, for Bitcoin to succeed, only fiat needs to fail. Little by little, drip drip drip....

Infinite inflation makes that inevitable.

You have discovered the secret  Grin

Nimiq project is doing just fine.

or cheap coins  Grin

After the commotion, Nimiq has ample opportunity to grow its impact in the cryptocurrency scene.

But the tech could lead to new ideas on consensus models. And speculation is the name of the game for now. Happy hunting  Grin

PS. too bad Windows 10 users have a disadvantage now that the mining software does not run on Window 10 properly yet.

Isn't it almost incredible how far the ATH or even $10K+ seems about now?

To the contrary, $10k seems incredibly near. Especially knowing that Bitcoin is still in it's infancy.

We arrived at the 'following week' and are eager to learn what Plutus 2.0 is about.

Payment processors (I don't like the term, but have no better alternative) are in a great position to ride the cryptocurrency waves the next decade, if their package is sufficiently compelling for customers.

I love your 'feet on the ground' exploration of the Hong Kong BTC scene.

In respect of the Lightning Network I stumbled on this article:  https://www.theblockcrypto.com/2019/01/15/the-growth-of-the-lightning-network-has-been-remarkable-but-theres-a-catch/

Conclusion: a bit of centralisation going on in terms of network capacity, but the area is still young  Kiss
