Bitcoin explosion is in the air.
[...], but what you thinking about this??
#hopium.....
This whole Bakkt thing has been irrelevant since its entire existence. Arguing that Bakkt suddenly be the one thing triggering an immense Bitcoin rally seems equal to the #hopium argument that Bitcoin price will explode because China suddenly did not ban Bitcoin (again) and the Chinese will now recognise this all at once.

I’d rather want to see the price go to $3,000 in search of overwhelming demand, with the boom following than this dabbling in no mans land. But hey, Mr Market rarely shows its true colours.

Great to see Devcoin still rocking.

I have not seen despair yet in this cycle (my 3rd). Consider yourselves lucky.
It will come, even if briefly If $3k after $20k is not despair then I don't know what is.. In hindsight, $3k could be that moment, yes.

Nimiq has so much potential that it even retains its own shitposters at BCT during steep winter phases

Suggesting caution for too much optimism, I dig. But posting chart after chart from the past that proved wrong ... Well, I have enough examples of those on my own

I have the following take to ease my mind:
1. Any price above $1,000 is speculative. Bubblish.
2. The closer the price comes down to $1,000, the more price is based on fundamentals instead of ‘Bubblish’
3. If your goal is richness because Bubblish, you’re in a though spot. It will stay this way for a while.
4. If it’s about the fundamentals, price is still doing well. Very well.
Bitcoin is still the one and only premier borderless accounting system to ‘count glass marbles’. It functions at $1,000 just as well (but then at a much more attractive price). A dip in price won’t make it dead. Quite the other way around.
You are just anxious to miss out on the ultimate dip in this cycle.
Rock on and HODL.

Yes, one of the strong projects out there during this winter-lull period. Nimiq brings something special to the table: ease of use with full web integration. If something could get the ball rolling (mass adoption), it would be Nimiq.

jouh. GByte is bullish as f*k with incredible $7.000 volume, lolz.

Bitcoin is doing just fine. Just ordinary market gyrations between hope and fear. It will stay this dull for a long long period. Hint: still too much action in the WO thread to call the end of this ice age.

Relaying a final message: I also added a link to my estimates on McAfee’s Dick Math. $1 million in 2020 seems likely, but most of us will never be able to avail of it because of numerous plans underway to fleece the loyal Bitcoin maximalists and burn their fingertips up to their armpits. Money quote: “Bitcoin is about to shock the hell out of everyone”

Good afternoon WO! Observing @ $7,934 Under $8k but it really does not matter.
Just more of ‘filling up the rocket’.

Thing are slow atm.
But Bitcoin @8,xxx is still good. Very good.
The longer the lull persists, the bigger the ensuing pump. Monetary craziness will ensure the outcome. Just think in years instead of months.

::Pretend to be Tera Post::

Price now has to follow the standard crash model, the current descending triangle will break down to support at 7.x (soft) or 5.x (stronger), plenty of bull traps along the way down to grinding on solid support (3k)
I've been waiting for $8,500 forever. So it would only fit if Bitcoin suddenly matches this while I am no longer waiting.... I think your scenario's sound very plausible, but have a very low probability of happening. There is too much bullishness around. Price can linger on for a while (more than a year if necessary) but a deep decline is off my list of probable outcomes.
