I just noticed that the Twitter feed in Brave Browser now shows a little button next to a tweet for tipping a user’s tweet (OP or a response). More signs that full crypto integration is advancing.

Received my new card and made a first 'brick 'n mortar' purchase. Can't wait for the 3% rebate to become active.

Regarding my walls of text, I agree.  Sometimes it is better to just skip them or skim them.... depending on your mood and level of patience.

I admit skipping your walls only to check worthwhile content by reading the immediate responses to those walls.

Just consider all the valuable information you are missing.

Of course I appreciatie that but cannot escape the notion that the highest appreciation a writer can give his readers is by making his points clear and concise. A ‘lazy’ writer won’t attract a crowd.

By no means meant as an attack.

Are you responsible for your own trading results?

Have you not sold at the top and dumped at the bottom?

Can the grown ups stand up please?
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NIM] - Nimiq - The Browser Based Blockchain on: January 06, 2020, 11:16:32 PM
Still no recognition that you just made a bad trade. You have to buy low and sell high. If you don’t, it’s on you.

He could've easily recovered his initial investment in early 2018 when NET pumped 5x-6x.  Grin

Bad trading and then blaming everyone and everything but himself.

Meanwhile, some good volume @Kucoin. 4 Sats may be where the line is drawn.

I will have a go at it  Shocked

This seems to be a very interesting project. I saw the thread a very long time ago, probably made a couple of posts but have just rediscovered it and am making this post. There seems to be a case for this project having lots of potential going by what I read online after a brief look around but there are some facts that highlight it might not have a future as bright as hoped:

- The 2016 ICO raised $4 million but the market capital today is just $870,000: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pluton/

Given the state of most altcoin projects, your metrics seem positive instead of negative.

Quote
- The market capital peaked at over $26 million in January 2018

You'e point being?

Quote
- The current price per PLU is around $1 but in January 2018 it peaked at over $31

Your point being?

Quote
- Just 850,000 PLU are in circulation but there are 20 million locked?

The tokens locked up will gradually become available. Like in the course of the next 100 yrs, not within 1 or 5 years. See page 6 and further of the Whitepaper: https://plutus.it/public/white-paper.pdf

Quote
- The previous 24 hour volume was just: $23.98 USD

Yep, liquidity is still a concern. But Plutus has a working card and if the 3% PLU rebate gets going (latest word is Q1 2020), there will be an incentive to use the card for (fiat) payments (because of the 3% rebate payable in PLU). Hopefully, this increases trading activity at the DEX. Still the Achilles heel of the project IMHO.

Quote
- In the over 3 years and 7 months since the ICO ended the company offer only ETH or PLU to buy/sell before it can be used to spend on the debit card?- The

Apparently that was hard enough. More options are expected in time (including BTC).

Quote
Have I got this right, please could somebody check and confirm the above?

I think your facts are mostly right. The question is what you conclude from all of this.

Quote
All in all though would you conclude that this is a successful project so far given the time between the ICO ending to where they are now (over 3 years and 6 months)?

With the rather limited ICO funds and the state of the crypto markets, I am impressed with the status right now. You can get a card (in most EU countries) right now. I cannot get a card at TenX and Crypto.com at the moment; release date of cards in the EU is still unknown.

So on that point, Plutus has an actual product out there (again, in the EU).

If rebate of PLU starts, I will definitely try it out (card already requested).
