So they exist after all

So the faggots who spend most of their days bashing BFL on this forum are suddenly quiet

I wouldn't know, I've had them on ignore for ages.
Oh, no, they're still talking.  Mostly going into tinfoil-hat areas of "well, the forum poster has a BFL sig, they must be working for them and making this up!"

I assume you are referring to me. It seemed awfully suspicious to me. A customer (supposedly) gets a unit and then does a YouTube video of it being unwrapped. Like it was for show and also had a BFL sig. Now most regular customers aren't going to upload a video to YouTube. From the start of opening the box and showing it for display. That along with having a BFL sig. So there is some reason for skepticism. But sure get on the BFL bandwagon..
You're right.  Most people won't do an unboxing vid.  So that's why most of the (40+) people who have undoubtedly received a BFL unit hasn't posted a video about it.  And you think it is odd that 2-3 geek types have posted unboxing videos?  Come on, tech types do that all the time when receiving the latest and greatest tech products.  Just type "unboxing" on youtube.

40+ undoubtedly? Citation please.
It would be good to see some actual evidence that BFL can produce and ship in double digits.

well twelve is technically double digits. pretty awesome considering current investment in USD at around 4 mil. way way more if they held btc and sold anywhere near the correct times. for convenience sake, lets round it off to 12mil. that is a solid 5gh/1mil invested so far.

If you'd be willing to use an escrow or middleman. I'd be willing to purchase. Otherwise, I have over $100k in trades on Sythe (videogame blackmarket).

They are approx 0.086 BTC per Avalon chip and €80 to assemble ten to an open source board, and €100 to assemble 20.

Chips are rated at 282 Mh/s each. Not too sure where you've got 2.0-2.5 BTC for 10 from?!

So thats €280 for 5.64 Ghash

About 700,000 chips on order??  5.64 Ghash x 35,000 in a few months.  Is that right?

No, man your addition sucks, that's just the chips as it states clearly above. Then you have 100 Euros if they decide to do the double sided boards or 160 if just the 10 chips per board, plus housing and psu. On top of which you're sending anonymous currency to people you don't know on a bulletin board to buy the chips and then have them send that to another anonymous person in another country to assemble the unit.

But then by August/September who knows what offers will be available.

One things for sure, the BFL crowd won't be making anything like they envisaged.

there won't be a housing and psu will be simple.

He sold his ass and his soul to BFL, and he will advertise them in order to draw noobs like you to their pre-order scheme. He was paid... A Jalapeño, so you know what type of dude is that.
I suppose you think Luke-Jr. et al. are other "useful idiots," too, then.
You won't be receiving your Jalapeño until June... 2014.
Proof, please

yes, luke-jr is a shill.

it is simple for the jalapeno thing. you take the amount of orders placed and divide by how many they can make and ship a day. unless they are going to churn out over 1k units a day, next year is a safe bet

1099  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Avalon ASIC] US-based burnin alternative on: April 26, 2013, 05:38:16 AM
Do you have any specs available yet for your ASICs? I'm curious to at least know how many chips your boards will take.

Nope just getting our feet wet and researching right now.

Demo site is up!

http://neo-asics.com/

This is not good enough. Unless you have sufficient background or know proper people, you cannot just research and pull this.

ryepdx - I guess it is time for you to look into this as well.

its all conjecture at this point anyway, avalon has not released chip info
