1081  Economy / Gambling / Re: 😺 RollCat.io 🚀 Provably Fair 🔒 Crazy Multipliers 🎰 Free Hourly Coins 💰 on: July 19, 2023, 12:38:29 PM
The OP was active on 17th July and. The site was offline too... Let's see what's happening.

Site is down without prior notice, looks not really good situation. If I have to think positively, maybe the site is down because they are upgrading it since they said that wanted to add games from 3rd party providers. However, it does not make the situation better especially due the fact that the OP keep on silence although you have a complain about small withdrawal. In the worst case, they have decided to shut the site down and go away for few bucks.
They don't need upgrades to process withdrawal but they did say something about transition over a week ago. I'm more inclined to believe that they took it down in preparation of a new site so I won't be surprised if a new casino thread is created here in the coming weeks.

If there's transition gonna happen for sure at least they give updates to their new community here and they should not act like this then left their existing costumer hanging. But I doubt there's something like that gonna happen as their management decide to remain silent even though there are so many people discuss about their latest controversy then create negative thoughts about them. For the current action they have done I doubt that there's a transition will happen here.
1082  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I end up being into crypto and my journey up and low on: July 19, 2023, 10:58:44 AM
Different case with me since I really search for opportunity online as I heard that there are some ways that we can earn money thru different services that we can provide to other people. And luckily I just spot the crypto especially bitcoin keyword since that is the start of my crypto journey and been introduce first in faucets where we earn a few chunks of bitcoin which we can use for another small investment that we choose. Second are those cloudmining and hyips which I lost some amount and move one since this is one of the baddest decision I take before. Then goes with investing on ICO's and after in trading where I find this one challenging since we can earn depends on how we follow the trend and the analysis we do.

To many challenges has been faced but gladly all works well and I can say that crypto journey is really good and exciting.

Unfortunately there are much too many complaints to give you any reasonable doubt or hope that you will be done right by BC.Game. I'm surprised they are still allowed to promote and operate here despite so many complaints. I guess that the board just doesn't care too much, or enough to boycott them.

I hope a good result for you OP, but don't count on anything.

You need to understand that moderators is not moderating scam here so you need to do your own critical thinking to define which is scam and not here. And for so many accusation thrown to them or other casino its should be a valid reason for us not to play. Since if we play without doing some research regarding how fair they and trusted could possibly they are then its our fault because we don't do any basic searching. Many boycott then already but newbies failed to do their own research that's the reason why they are the most favorite target of their scams.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Passive Income on: July 18, 2023, 12:32:30 PM
Sure you can get crazy amounts of interest in some of the decentralized systems but most of them are traps. You better win a few to lose all.
Dont think that is a good option for anybody and the term "passive income" has been hyped a lot along with people who accept it as a good method to make money because of the term being an oxymoron - you cannot earn if you are passive. Consider the fixed deposit schemes of banks, yes that is a safer method than crypto based investments.

Crazy high amounts of income indicate that something fishy is going on, not that the project is super profitable or doing something revolutionary, that is what bitcoin has done.

What I observed from yield farming is that the long term proposition is not good, you carry a large risk than reward and hence I dont recommend it.

They should consider that there's no passive income thing on crypto especially if they are dealing it by investments since any of those can go or turn scam. This word us overused by scammers since they want to deceive their investors and make them believe that they can earn that if they invest on the platform those scammers created.

Yield farming I think this is not for long term and it the same with other that only good while its new but when people are done with this it will slowly collapsed.
Usually newbies or greedy ones are the people who would really get victimized be this on which they would really get blinded on what those offerings that they had able to encounter and if they do see that it is something
that would be giving out that kind of conditions on which earning up without doing nothing then it would really be that turns out to good to be true and that #1 rule that we do have in investment space is that, if there's something that make you money without doing nothing or no hard work but only investment needed then its really a scam. People should realize this but since those noobs doesnt have this kind of thing initially then
they are the ones who do really get caught which is really that sad. If they have just that sensible mind and common sense on how things works and how its done then you might be able to avoid such thing.
Passive income would really be just only possible when you do have a real estate business or rental or any industry which even if you do sleep you are earning but here on cryptospace?
This cant just that be possible and this is why its better to avoid as much as you could.

Because they don't know about what they are trying to enter and just been blinded with the profits discussed to then that's the reason why they easily believe that there's such thing like passive income on crypto investment. If they reach up crypto by realistic approach for sure they might be much careful upon dealing with their investment and gain profits with this.

Passive income still possible if you own a crypto business and it succeed.

But if you are just a simple investor then maybe you cannot get the passive profit you expect.
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: July 18, 2023, 10:17:00 AM
Addiction to anything is no good, and you are talking about gambling here, which in itself is kind of derogative.

You cannot be a successful gambler if you are not addicted. This has many meanings as a sentence but what I want to point out is yes gambling is negative in itself as most of the times leads people to lose money while it takes much time and much gambling in order to achieve a huge hit, kinda like x10.000 to x300.000 your bet which I consider great wins. You cannot achieve these if you are not addicted and you only play like once in a while,it can happen to win even playing that little however these cases can be counted with the fingers of one hand.So overall you need to be addicted in order to achieve one of those huge wins which would make you successful despite that being only momentary as you will most probably lose it all again.

Somehow this is the real case here since if we look back the activities they participated with for sure they go thru many troubles and a lot of money has been lost on earliest of their career. If they never play to much well maybe we cannot see those successful gamblers succeed on their careers and we will never see some of them became famous since for sure they might quit because they are in control then also cannot afford to lose huge if they discipline their selves toward gambling.
1086  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Retiring on bitcoin on: July 16, 2023, 02:53:19 PM
How many bitcoins does a person need to retire, what is the cashout plan and why?
Depends on where you live. If the cost of living in your country is high then calculate that with some statistics on how much a person needs for an average retirement fund. 1 Bitcoin could be enough with an average price of $30k~ish but in major cities and countries, that's barely enough for a retired person. That's why, you need to look at those studies on how much it will cost a retirement fund to become sufficient and compute on how much Bitcoin should be in the future if you're wanting to retire already. But I think many will agree like having 1 Bitcoin and the price of one is $1M.  Cool
There's so many things needed to consider before taking risky decisions and we need to be careful enough for now getting hype on what they are saying since scammers always use deceiving words and sometimes they create impressive work to make their project look legit. So we need to be vigilant and be cautious to the information we receive since not all the time devs will work for something beneficial for us since their main intention is to get rich by the help of the funds accumulated from their victims.
1087  Economy / Gambling / Re: 😺 RollCat.io 🚀 Provably Fair 🔒 Crazy Multipliers 🎰 Free Hourly Coins 💰 on: July 16, 2023, 10:37:20 AM
If you look at their site and see the chat room is full of their users complaining about the withdrawal process that hasn't been processed and it's been taking them a long time waiting for it, so far the OP hasn't looked to provide clarification on this, I don't want to accuse or say this is a scam site , let's wait for them to come in this thread and explain about the withdrawal process on their site.

If you look at the chat room, he is one of those who are complaining about withdrawal. He did send some messages and he is the one who keep posting messages in the chat room about his withdrawal. If you look at the representative account of the casino, the last online was a week ago and it seems that the rep left this forum already. It is a sign of scam, no doubt about it.  Not giving any response to players for days is a bad sign already. All forum members are warned by this issue. A small withdrawal but not being processed after a week and with no response from the admin.

Sad that there's another scam casino affect a user here but I'm curious to know if there's only one person got affected by this incident since if there are many of them maybe much better if they also share their experience since we don't know if this casino accumulate already a big funds then decide to scam all of their user so they better show up here and post to warn those people who still have a doubt about the departure of the representative of this casino. The user already do all he can as he contact them on different channels so I think they don't plan to grant any withdrawal request and turn into a scam.

1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is actually a Bitcoin investor on: July 15, 2023, 11:58:46 AM
When someone has a particular wallet which he spends Bitcoins from can he be considered a Bitcoin investor?
Or does the term investor refer only to those who hodl Bitcoin?
Look at the definition of investment and then you will know who is a "Bitcoin investor". When you invest on something, you hope for the value to appreciate in the long run and then you sell it for profit. How can it be called investing in bitcoin if you are actually buying bitcoin to use it as a regular day day transaction currency? You spend it, you no longer will be making any profit. So yes, the term investor refers to only those who are holding bitcoin with the hope of making profit when the price goes up. It is the same for everything you invest on.

It will just be called as currency if you intend to use it for transactions or any related activities does not include investment. Maybe a proper term for people like that is bitcoin user and not bitcoin investor. The only difference about bitcoin investors they are there as you said aiming to accumulate good profits either for holding it  or invest it on other investments. Maybe some people got confuse about it but they should not think about it since its not really important matter to discuss.
1090  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 15, 2023, 10:42:23 AM
Reputed sites must be built from brand new sites. They can not be launched today and become a reputed site tomorrow. KYC or not KYC policy does not signal anything about their quality or reputation.
If we leave this topic aside then reputed casino has to build their image over time which depends on lot of factors like support, promotion, withdrawal issues, games and community is happy with them without any problems and this take time like Roobet has achieved over past few years. You don't need to worry while making deposit because you have assurance but on fake sites without KYC it could be the common problem.

All of it has been provided that's main reason why many people like them and they are continue performing very well thru the promotions they open. I will not get surprise if Roobet gain more success since they are so consistent for creating good contents that can make their users feek attracted to the promotions they created. So any doubts like KYC is not a problem with Roobet since for longest time they already prove that they are one of the best and safest casino exist.
1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Appropriate percentage of income for gambling on: July 14, 2023, 10:16:09 PM
I use 5% of my weekly income to gamble and I can not go more than that. Sometimes I can be busy and I can spend less. If a week favours me, I will save my profit and the remaining (5% last week income) for next week gambling. According to what I heard, people spend up to 12% of their weekly income on gamble. I think it is not bad but that gives me the thinking to make a post like this on this forum. What percentage of weekly income do you think is right for gambling?
Gambling is not by force so whatever way you want to gamble is you decision. If you think 5% is only for you in the week and you are okay for that then it is nice. That 12% you are mentioning is under probability, there are some addicted gamblers that spend more than percentage per week. In gambling if you spend big and you have luck to win one game, you will win big so gamblers also look those factors to gamble.
As for me there is no specific percentage for weekly gambling. You can gamble any amount of money but gamble what you can lost. The amount that when you lose it will not pain you.

that is true, it depends on the person's financial capability. some can go big while others want to spend a very small amount to their gambling. for me, much better if you will spend small, which won't affect any of your basic expenditures to live a decent life. because if you start spending more than what you can afford, your basic needs will suffer tremendously, you will find yourself in trouble.
so for me, there's no fixed percentage every week. it depends on the availability of extra money that i have for that period.

No fix allocation to anyone since even though you already set some amount to spend but there are times that you deposit a little bit more just to satisfy yourself because you didn't satisfied yet. For sure at the moment many long time gamblers here knows how to balance their budget that's the reason they can stay for long and been here with us playing for long time because they are been well discipline with their emotions and the money they spent on their playing time.
1092  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you ever been scammed ? on: July 14, 2023, 03:38:00 PM

3. Greedy scammed. Those who were promised crazy returns without doing anything.

6. The betrayed scammed. Whether a beginner or an expert, the betrayed scammed has trusted someone (friend, colleague, lover...) and lost his or her funds.

7. The shitcoin scammed. He/she bought lots of shitcoins on an obscure Pump and Dump group.
you or someone you know ?

Experience this and totally sad that I lost a lot of money way back them from this before since 3)  I thought before that those ponzi platforms are genuine and they can give good profits in return but end up getting scam. 6) Got scam by I thought my friend and let me down just for his greed of money. 7) Experience a lot of this since frequently trading either old or new but the awful part is when ICO craze is so hype since been scam by some of it and never go back to invest on any new launch and now only grabbing some when they are officially landed on exchangers.
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: July 14, 2023, 12:52:28 PM
If anyone knows any credible sources where to get airdrops should please drop links. Maybe new members who are not in campaigns can help themselves with them and try their luck. We are approaching bull season and this can be helpful for people to make money from them.

Please drop links if you have them.

If you are asking for a credible source that is guaranteed to pay I would venture to suggest on his channel Airdrop Detective, Source @AirdropManager. My assumption is that they really filter it and just release it in a group, so it's not fake. at least like you said can help people to make money from them.

Hard to say that sure earnings on the project they had drop on their channel but it maybe worth to follow as long as its free since we can join all of them then wait on what project would pay off the efforts we exert to complete all the task they ask. Even Though many at the money is not paying but for sure there are few of them will be rewarding and will be listed on decent exchange. I miss those past airdrops which give good profit to its participant so as of the moment its like planting trees and maybe in future we can harvest some good fruits.
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 14, 2023, 11:00:39 AM
If you want gamble but don't want to get addicted on the game you must bare some proper emotional displacement and always follow the rules you set for yourself since if you just joking around and exceed to the limits then you are not doing any good then later on you might be on bad position.
Next is to have set allocated funds so that if you drain it you should never put any amount just to chase back and erase any revenge thoughts since this will never result to any good returns to us.
1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ads for online gambling should be banned. on: July 13, 2023, 01:50:30 PM
If this should be implemented will it affect bitcointalk casinos? As we all know most established and new casinos come to bitcointalk to launch their ANN thread and carry out signature promotion campaigns which can be regarded as ads in a sense. If ads should be banned will their promotion in Bitcointalk also end?
Let's say if it is banned, will the institution that prohibits it dare to displace bigger finances like those issued by casinos to become promoters? of course not, they just bark without any solution. No wonder why the opposition always ends with criticism without a solution. They are not able to speak broadly and even move in an Australian country even though it doesn't make any impact. Then why did you link it to this forum?

That's part of solution maybe we can't see a huge effect on it since there are still people gambles but still its good initiative already since they can study how their regulation goes. If it happens the number of addiction has still rising up maybe another solution will be placed and maybe we. n see them issue a total ban if they see that their last regulation didn't seems effective and they need to level up their actions and put total end to each casino platform to lessen up the damage  brought up by wrong perception about the casino.
1096  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips on crypto investment on: July 13, 2023, 12:36:44 PM
As newbies when investing in crypto don't be satisfied with your leading knowledge attainment about crypto, endeavor to continually do research on the crypto asset's you have invested on as it would aide you on a trajectory course  about your investment's. By so doing you're not easily taking by surprise on any misgiving that may arise about a portfolio you have investment with.

Another gateway to keep abreast is to get connected as a member of an active crypto community or platform. Having membership of different communities is an added advantage but make sure  they are a genuine platform with a good history just like bitcointalk.

As a matter of fact, it's very unsafe to depend on a single coin. In otherwords, invest into more than one token by spreading your investment into potential coins but be careful not to invest into pump and dump coins. Above all, make sure to maintain risk management in which ever crypto asset you are investing in.

Here on the forum there are a lot of experienced people for whom a good cause will share its opinion with you. This can save you a lot of time and effort. Instead of independently searching for additional information about the projects in which you have invested a deposit, it is better to ask the knowledgeable. Because a beginner can focus on the rating platforms of cryptocurrencies, but it turns out that they are scams and promote only secretly paid campaigns. It was because of advice and communication that the forum was created.

Researching backed up by asking the bitcointalk community about their opinion on something caught your attention is really the best thing we have since we can learn a lot of things thru the words given by more experience persons here. So before taking ang risky moves which we are not familiar with its better to ask than risk immediately on what we have since its to bad if we rush our decision to invest on a unknown platforms.
1097  Economy / Gambling / Re: 😺 RollCat.io 🚀 Provably Fair 🔒 Crazy Multipliers 🎰 Free Hourly Coins 💰 on: July 13, 2023, 10:38:35 AM
I had a look at the site aswell. The lack of support is conerning and so is the lack of communication.
Its a very bare bones site but that is not necessarily a bad thing, these big "all games in one" casinos arent always that good either. The faucet is pretty good aswell, good for testing the site out Smiley.

The casino is definitely a new and small casino so i expect to see lapses in the course of using it. The representative here barely responds to pertinent questions as it bothers users of the casino and also I do not think they hid to advise so as to taking and making corrections for possible ease while using the casino. Up till now, the the representative is yet to get a copper membership account so they could be able to make proper upload of the casino graphics and other important aspect of the casino. If they could pay deaf ears refusing to hid to advise,i don't think they would have a good communication relationship with their clients which we already see people complaining of their customer care here and lapses in withdrawal.

Issue about that delay is bit disappointing even if this is small amount of money. They should at least put a person that can handle their thread since this is common thing what people ask. If they cannot solve a small issue how about the bigger ones? For sure many dislike this to happen and they are showing that their support is not active so I guess much better if they address this so that they can gain good trust score from people.

You are very correct mate. Customer care service is very important in every organization. The success of every organization mostly depends on its customer relations so as to build up the organization. What we see on their thread is simply a reflection of who they are and it is not normal to be. Being inactive would definitely throw you in or better still make for harm than good to you.

They are online casino so they should build up a good relation with their clients so that they came back to try their casino or other service that they can offer. But lacking of support is somehow one of the big reason why thay fail because people will avoid them and this is what happening at the moment. For sure those people who already read the current issue got turn off to them right now and if they continue to be inactive they will be tag as another scam casino as the person affected already created a scam accusation against them.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: July 12, 2023, 10:16:25 PM
^^ Yes, saw this posts, not sure if the words comes directly from Donaire's mouth, but in any case, yes, I think I would say that 90% of the current 118 lbs, Donaire can beat them, not name Naoya Inoue.

So just a couple more days, between the two, and hopefully we will see some hype in the media as well as this is very important fight because WBC will have a new bantamweight champion in the process.

Yeah, I am pretty sure Donaire is aware of the current situation. The power of Donaire is just too much in this division. Since becoming a champion after that huge KO upset over Vic Darchinyan, there were only 2 fighters in this division and below that were able to survive Donaire's power punches, long-time champion Omar Narvaez who went turtle defense throughout the whole fight and Rafael Concepcion who came in 2 division overweight.

A few more days left and we will see if Donaire who's turning 41 this year will be able to break his own previous record as the oldest champion in this division's history. Santiago is not a KO artist so he is expected to move and box. Santiago only suffered a single knockdown in his whole career once which means his chin is tough and it will be put to another huge test this weekend. And we will also see if Donaire won't tire out in the late rounds if he cannot catch Santiago in the first 7 rounds.

That's good trivia mate, his losses after that Rigo fight were above the bantamweight division (except Inoue fight) but in this division, Donaire is just too much for his opponent so there is a great possibility that he would break his own record as the oldest to become a world champion in this division.

One thing that I found interesting is that as the fight day approaches, the odds for Donaire to win also increase, it was at @1.58 the other day and now it is pegged at 1.62, maybe it would reach @1.70 on fight day.

So someone is throwing money on the Santiago? maybe there are really boxing fans who think that there are value on Santiago or they think that Donaire is too old right now to win and become another world champion.

Not surprise, but we will have to see what Santiago can bring in the table. Donaire is already battle tested, we have seen his up and down as a bantamweight, and will be coming from a huge knockout lost to Inoue. But still though, he is already a legend like Manny Pacquiao and so he has a good chance to break or established a new record as the oldest bantamweight in history.

That is expected because if Donaire got his own fan base to support him, we can also say that Santiago got his own too mainly in Tijuana, Mexico where he came from and we know how vast that country is especially the boxing supporters and if most of them will bet in favor of their homeboy, it will be safe to assume that it will be a reason why the line will change and by the way, that is going to be in favor of us because that will mean that Donaire's line will increase as well.

What I think expected there is many think that the prime of Donaire is already done that's why many place their bet to Alejandro since they speculate this fighter to win or have an advantage to their fight knowing that he win on his last bout compare to Donaire where he lost and been dominated by his opponent.

Let's see if line would change since provably their will be a shift of belief especially when the fight night nearly comes.
1099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: risk nothing, you're risking more on: July 12, 2023, 01:16:23 PM
Those who have the power to hold, will not only just hold it but would have also bought it in phases whenever it crashed down. They're smarter than the ones who just hold alone and do nothing. Because the risk you take from the downside is worth the investment because you not just try to earn more through your profits but if you wish to take out your money early with less or no profits from the positions taken from its high, then you can go for breakeven and I guess many had the chance to do that. However, welcome to the forum. I hope we will all be very useful to you in terms of providing the kind of help you need and we expect that you too become one of the greatest contributors of this forum. Wink

And those people who can afford to do that are those rich people since small time traders cannot afford to buy in every possible good position they can take. But for small traders they only really on current prices and trade it since they cannot afford to let their money slept since if there's no activity done they cannot earn good cash at his end.

To many things we can learn from here so lets focus and ignore those negative impression that cannot really help us.
1100  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I waste bitcoin on: July 12, 2023, 11:31:54 AM
Early 2011 most friends of mine are into cryptosystem and I barely know what it is about, I only hear the name bitcoin and one day a friend of mine said, I should provide N100k to buy bitcoin and I was like what if my money lost and he gave me assurance; no lost as long your wallet is intact and after much pressure I gave him the money, open a wallet for me and hand over everything but I was care free not minding that's a great investment then, one day I lost my device and that's how I lost the seed phase and the wallet. Am imagining if I could have recover my wallet today, I will be a big boy with fat wallet. Do you think another person have access to it?

I guess there's nothing to recover back since as you said you trust your friend to create your own wallet so maybe try to check first the wallet used if the balance still intact inside since if not then maybe your friend take your money and might you cannot recover unless your friend will give a refund.

Huge mistake that you let your friend do that so next time learn to create your own wallet and never tell anyone that you have money stored their.
