10822  Other / Off-topic / Re: I know how to bring world peace without destroying the world on: September 18, 2014, 07:04:51 PM
But I don't have the resources to do it.  I need money for land to construct a farm, a pyramid, a couple music festivals and basic living expenses.
But you do have the resources to do it. A pair of hands to earn the money. Maybe if pulled your thumb out your arse, your dream may come true.

Well said Smiley
Many people have many ideas but just a few is willing to work, and invest some time and effort in order to accomplish their ideas.

10827  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you rather live in a 'moneyless' world? on: September 15, 2014, 07:29:37 PM
it's almost impossible to live in a world without money today
You cannot survive without money because we all depend on this

People at the beginning of civilization lived without money.
If they wanted something they exchanged with something of the similar value, food for food etc.
Of course, in modern society something like this is not possible but I can imagine that paper money will gradually disappear and replaced with cards or just virtual money.

10831  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movies with bitcoin wallet on on: September 12, 2014, 01:45:43 PM
I know that on a Simpsons episode, Krusty the Clown said he lost quite some money he invested in Bitcoin. I believe it aired shortly after the collapse of last year's bubble. What a bummer he didn't invest back in September 2013!

LOL I didn't know about this ''Simpsons'' episode, thank you for sharing.
I hope this episode will come to my country soon .)
Such promotion, in very popular comics movie, can really help popularity of bitcoin.

The Bank Of England Just Said It Thinks Bitcoin Could Be Huge.

Very interesting statement from well known and respected financial institution.
I really hope that Bitcoin become globally accepted soon, and first choice for many ''big'' merchants as payment option.

10835  Economy / Economics / Re: Easiest way to make BTC? on: September 12, 2014, 01:23:34 PM
Without any service or product to sell, and without just buying BTC, best bet is signature campaigns.
But suddenly these campaigns are going down and after Dice scam and PD announces they are also closing uncertainly around here
I would predict that we will see more signature campaigns in the future. We also are seeing that many smaller fixed rate campaigns are popping up all the time. With both of those being said I would say that signature campaigns is likely still the best way to make bitcoin.

I agree 100 % with you.
In fact, signature campaigns was great way for me to earn some free bitcoin until now Smiley
I hope that in the future many more signature campaign will start.
10836  Economy / Economics / Re: IT'S OFFICIAL: Paypal/eBay ACCEPTING Bitcoin! on: September 12, 2014, 01:15:45 PM
Paypal/eBay CEO made it official today that the company will start accepting bitcoins as payment! Another big victory for bitcoin. We should see a rally this week!

http://www.bitcoinvalues.net/ebays-paypal-accepting-bitcoins-via-coinbase.html

I really hope that this will happen soon.
Such thing will really impact value and popularity of bitcoin a lot.
Bitcoin is on the way to become mainstream Smiley
10837  Economy / Economics / Re: Send a message to the central bankers here on: September 12, 2014, 01:11:15 PM

10838  Economy / Economics / Re: Illegal use of Bitcoin affecting its value? on: September 12, 2014, 01:06:22 PM
are illegal uses of dollars affecting it's value?

i don't think so

if anything, it increases it.

money is worthless if it can't be used to do whatever you want with it.

I agree.
Value of bitcoin depends on Market, buying/selling and demand of this currency.
If people thinks they can make profit with bitcoin, ir use it for buying digital goods/services, value of bitcoin will rise.
Otherwise, value of bitcoin will go down.

10840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What´s the future of money? on: September 12, 2014, 12:50:42 PM
I think that in the future paper money will disappear and people will start paying over Internet using virtual currency, like Bitcoin.
