Is there any news when jwinterm will make any updates in the light wallet now that Monero is getting more popular? This is the right time to start working on the infrastructure and to make sure they are all working properly.

I think reality is beginning to settle on all of us. Instead of parity with ETH happening, all that is happening is a falling ETC price and barely any updates from the development team. I fear that no one is taking ETC seriously and could be viewed as an abandoned platform of Vitalik. What are your thoughts?

I have a question about Monero. Ok we are seeing that some people here are saying that Monero will be bitcoin's real challenger. Let me ask, how is the hashing power of Monero? Is the network strong enough to repel a 51% attack. I believe it will be the latest target for hackers, now with its new found high value and notoriety in the darknet markets.

the best cryptocurency to invest you can see about community from coin this big community will can big volume transaction 1 bitcoin 2 etherum 3 litecoin 4 monero and more you can review in coinmarketcap
That list looks fair and good for long term investing. But I will mention that ETH has some controversy swirling around it and it will be better to wait and see before making a big investment in it. I would like to add Factom in that list. They have made partnership deals with Data Yes, a Chinese data company and I heard the are making another one with a Wall Street firm.

What's there to like about Auroracoin? Haven't watched the entire video, because it sounds like 20+ minutes of your personal thoughts and (no offense) I feel no need to watch it all.
I think Auroracoin showed us that currencies that distribute free samples to lots of people in a verified way, and try to grab a certain community like a nation in this case (Iceland), may be a big hit. It has proven the opposite. Auroracoin is not a big hit and it is proven that these giveaways can be gamed and cheated with or without the development team's involvement. The only coins that has proven to have "value" are POW coins. The best example of this will always be bitcoin.

To the OP, do you mind sharing how you predicted the price rise and what kind of analysis you used? Was it technical analysis, fundamental or did you have insider info?

I am wondering why people in the cryptosphere do not support fully a project such as this. This is helping scientists solve problems and find solutions and yet no one is really interested in it. We do not see it in the news and the value of the coin is low and the interest is low. What can the Gridcoin development team do to change this?

for only daily trading then you can go with ETH , MONERO AND ETC, but you have to tell also that in which exchange you are going to trade as all coins are not trading in all exchanges, their are so many altcoin which can be traded but that is according to their exchanges. Their are new coins also coming daily in the market which if you keep eye on them they can also give you profit in trading.
ETH and ETC for daily trading? Are you serious? Those coins are not moving much so how do you expect to make some money trading those? The OP should look for highly volatile coins. Right now the volatile ones are Qora, Burst and BBR on Poloniex. Good luck trading them because you would need good timing and skill to pull it off.

Is Gulden available for trading in Poloniex? If you always scan the coin listed there you will notice that the low volume coins rise a lot with volume. NLG might get luck and become the "flavor of the day". But as a long term investment, this is not a good coin for that. If you want long term you should stick to bitcoins.

I find a lot of projects that have ongoing ICOs like Augur, Golem, SingluarityDTV and all those projects that use Ethereum to be very interesting, the big problem is clear: you just can't trust Ethereum long term. So im not sure if I should own some of those. I think some of those will pump hard, so im thinking about it.
You are not the only one thinking about this my friend. There are some people here that are doubtful about some of the projects built in Ethereum like Elcoin and Augur. I do not know about the rest you mentioned but look at for example slock.it. It was supposed to be on of Ethereum's greatest projects. Where is it now and what happened to their core development team? They have become the laughing stock in all of the cryptosphere. I wonder if they will show their faces in the coming Devcon.

One thing to watch out for with Antshares is that the development team is from China. The Chinese are known to be shrewd when it comes to business so on the business side of this platform I am confident that it will be good and they will be able to manage their ICO funds well. As for the coding side I could not say. Maybe they are good, but that remains to be seen.

I can see that there are legendary members trying to hype the coin. Maybe because they already have accumulated and they are now happy with how much they got. Sadly there is a whale in Poloniex that will put a sell wall whenever the price will go over 50k satoshis. It would be nice to know what his real motive is because it is the only hurdle that is preventing Lisk from rising.
His motive is accumulation. I hope that really is it. It would be so stupid to him if that was his exit strategy.

I have a question. Can the master nodes also be viewed as an internal mixer of Dash coins? Or is the function something more? I have always been curious about this.
|
|
|
My solid picks would be ETC, LSK, XRP and maybe LBC. All are good platforms and could be undervalued right now. That is just my opinion so I know it can be argued. Also be aware that some coins are somehow connected with others because they have the same functions or properties. For example when XMR rose, SDC and some anonymous coins also rose. So be aware that if XRP rises, STR will also rise. So go look for the coins and platforms similarities.

@elrippo. Can you give me the source of your data? I have been looking for that but I am unsuccessful in my search. Is your data straight from the darknet? If you are uncomfortable in giving out links in Tor you can pm it to me. Thank you.

To the campaign manager. Please be aware that there is rampant account farming going on in the forum right now. I have been helping Rizlarolla with finding these farmed accounts and I am helping him warn campaign managers. Just to make you aware, please go to this thread. It is a thorough research of farmed accounts https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1597201.0Since your campaign is new it will be easier to manage your accounts and remove some of them accordingly from your campaign of you see them as indeed belonging to a account farmer.

Is the current pump over and is it time for the next accumulation phase to begin? I speculate that this will go sideways in the current level now and an opportunity to buy more is coming. But the there is another argument that it could also go down and that it would be safer to wait and buy at lower prices.
The comments I have seen lately are mixed and cautious. So it might be better to be cautious too and place your bids maybe at 100k satoshis.

Classical Bitshares Move.
Buy at 800, sell at 1100 on POLO. +30% Profit.
Nice, and now 800 again, you can buy bts more, and wait for next pump. But it is not near to next pump, cause this pump is due to peerplays. What does Peerplays have to do with the pump? Is it not that BTS in an independent coin separate from Peerplays? I am aware that it could be traded in the Bitshares exchange but I could not find a connection why it will affect BTS/BTC. An explanation from you would be welcome.

I have and am holding a lot of lisk, however i bought them a bit high, now I'm already losing money. Do you guys think that we will see a good price increase in a near future?
At what price range you have bought lisk? I am holding lisk bought just on 40k average but have few that i have bought like on 70k, nothing big seem coming. Price is not moving much these days. I have a slightly higher average price as you. The problem with Lisk is there is a threat from a whale maintaining the price below 50k satoshis. Everytime the price starts to go up and be above 50k satoshis the whale will put really big sell walls discouraging people from buying in on the rise. So most will dump and not return again. The motive of why the whale is still unknown.
