10881  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-14] Why Big Banks Attacked Bitcoin on: September 15, 2017, 01:45:53 PM
It is obvious that banks are afraid of bitcoin. However, in the beginning, they see it as no threat to them. But as bitcoin's exponentially growth capping with almost 400% in a year, they simply can't ignore the facts that is already gaining adoption so they have to do something to stop this madness. China started the war already, by banning ICO's and now chasing down their local exchanges. I guess they are really worried that someday, banks will be obsolete because having bitcoin is like being your own bank. Although we read that China just want to step up its regulations on local exchanges and possible if they comply to everything the government wants, they can soon operate. But this remains to be seen.
10882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: September 15, 2017, 11:46:30 AM
Yeah its really doesn't take more time 1 to 3 hours just enough for me reading infomation for trading btc. For me I don't have any problem with this time management even though we each have responsibilities in our lives. Easy to open website where ever you go by using you phone.
Yes, taking out couple of hours daily is not a big deal actually. You only need to manage your time in the best possible way. You can only be a successful person in your life of you actually know and value the importance of time. Time is everything. It is up to you that how you take advantage of your time.

Working on campaign does not take too much of my time because i still have a day job. It is depending on the way how you are earning bitcoins. If you are a trader then with a huge amount of capital then probably you need to check the market every hour to gain small profits but if your just working on a campaign then it does not take too much time.

Trading takes a lot of my time, and I have a signature campaign to fulfill as well, and a business to manage. So its really up to the person on how you should manage your time. The good thing is that my business, a have a lot of time to be in front of m PC so its not a problem in my end. So I'm hitting two birds with one stone. But for most of us, you need to prioritize things so that you can manage your time easily without putting too much pressure on yourself, because we also have other responsibilities outside of our bitcoin activity.
10883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc drop near 2k? on: September 15, 2017, 11:12:09 AM
I felt like I missed a great opportunity at selling high and buying low when it reached 5k and drop to 4k a couple of days ago. Now it happened again from 4k to 3k. You think it will happen a third time, from 3k to 2k?

The price is going down further to $3000. But its really hard to think that bitcoin could go lower or near $2000. I'm hoping that the support level at $3000 will be strong enough. But if it collapses in the coming days, then most likely that $2000 will be the last stop before we can see some semblance of a rally. The China news that BTCC is shutting down its operations add another drama that cause another dump. Imagine if Huobi and OKCoin followed as well, we will having the same reaction. But for me this is just temporary and I hope that we can recover again.
10884  Economy / Economics / Re: CHINA will halts all Bitcoins exchange.... on: September 14, 2017, 03:28:41 PM
Just now... China has declared a halt to Bitcoins exchange and operations by October... The price of Bitcoins has partially drop due to the news... However, if we can equal the population of Bitcoins user in China and invite a lot of investors... I think Bitcoin will still survive.... Hope so....

Bitcoin will still survive, the only problem is the price itself. The price of bitcoin crashed again because of that news and BTCChina exchanges officially announce will close all trade 30sept. This month will be a hard days for bitcoin and the bitcoin price, i'm afraid the bitcoin price will crashed down to $3,000 or even less.

We have to face the hard fact that bitcoin will really go crashing down. And its gonna took a for a while before we see the price could touch $4000. But if China really wants to get out of bitcoin then let it be. There are still major players around like Japan and South Korea and the US that will make this market regain it strength in the next coming months or years. If you are in for the long term, then you are just cool I guess. But for investors who think that bitcoin is a quick rich scheme and seeing the price going down, then they must be the first one to panic and push the sell button.
10885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin end or destroy in this month?? on: September 14, 2017, 02:56:17 PM
My conspiracy theory is that China wants reduce the price of bitcoin cash's price so their countrymen can buy at lower price. Then start promoting again.
lol  Grin but it is true, too many times china use this strategy to make btc price dumped but it is work. maybe need to hold longer time so btc can back to rise again

Only option is too really hold on our bitcoin after this deluge that we are facing. I don't know if your conspiracy is true, but everyone loves to buy in dip so I'm expecting that a intelligent investors would enter the market right now because the price is too cheap. It just sad to see that after the Aug 1 split bitcoin price was not deter by it but the opposite had happen. Then China and all their shenanigans started to pull back the price because they are now waging war on bitcoin buy banning ICO then now closing local exchanges. But someone like Japan can really step up and continue to buy more bitcoin to offset this panic.
10886  Economy / Speculation / Re: cheap coin is coming??? on: September 14, 2017, 12:42:50 PM
should I buy now? won't miss the last opportunity to the moon. I want to come with you

I would advise you to not wait and enter the market now. The price is going down so its pretty cheap. You might be better to buy in small portions and not go buy 1 BTC. Try to observed the market and see if the price is going down further then buy more. If the price is going up then you can still get as well because it will not go up suddenly, maybe a swing of $100-$200. So its gonna be a win-win situation now for those  who are waiting to enter the market and ride the hype train once again. I don't want to miss this opportunity so I'm also buying later.  Smiley
10887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BOXING MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT - Canelo vs. GGG Discussion on: September 14, 2017, 09:41:03 AM
If this two boxers really engaged early in the center of the ring. It could end as the Fight of the Year.  And our money will be worth as compare to the circus fight of May-McGregor. And thinking that as boxing fans, we have waited for 2 years, and now the fight will happen. I'm a fan of both fighters, so its really hard to pick one here. But I'm going to pick Golovkin because he is one of the most vicious punchers and one punch can really change the outcome of this fight. If he hit Alvarez squarely in the face I think he will go down or be KO'd.
10888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 214: Cormier vs Jones 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: September 14, 2017, 07:36:05 AM
Well guys it looks like Jones is officially stripped off his title after failing two tests for steroids.  His rematch with Cormier has been now overturned into a 'no contest'.  Cormier is reinstated as the LHW champ.

Jones you stupid little ****.  What a waste.

What the....

I'm so disappointed with Jones. He just wasted his fucking career. I guess Cormier is right portraying what's the real personality of Jones specially in their first fight. You will hear Jones talking shit about Cormier and he thought that the microphone is offline. I still remember Cormier saying that Jones trying to sell himself as the good guy but outside he is so arrogant and boastful. Glad to see Cormier being he LHW champ and for exposing how fraudster Jones was from the very beginning.
10889  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What happened ? on: September 13, 2017, 03:21:11 PM
Why do we fall? is the correction continuing or new news?

Several factors has really contributed to the price diving today and the rest of the month. First, the Chinese news banning ICO's was the beginning then followed by them announcing that they will ban local exchanges as well. The JP Morgan's CEO Jamie Dimon calling bitcoin as fraud was the catalyst for yesterday and today's dumping. But as others have said this is just a temporary setup for bitcoin market and you need to keep your nerves calm and do not panic. But instead you can buy in this price correction and hold it for long term. Because history tells us that bitcoin can rebound from such disaster and who knows, we may get to $5000 after everything has cool down.
10890  Economy / Speculation / Re: Feeling good about the dip / down on: September 13, 2017, 02:57:34 PM
3800 seems to be pretty strong as for now, let's see what comes next - 4400 + or another dip to 3300 ?

Down to $3700 now. It didn't hold at $3800 so let see how the market react. I don't know if we hit at lot $3300 though. I'm optimistic that $3600 will be the floor. On second thought, this is really a perfect time to buy while its still down at the moment. We all know that this panic sell will not last and just be temporary and we may touch $5000 again who knows. But we must face the challenge today and see how investors would react. As other feel good seeing this dip because they can now come and they will be the fortunate one because once everything settles down and hit ATH is gonna be huge profit.
10891  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Storm is coming - big one? on: September 13, 2017, 02:19:39 PM
Binance has stopped Chinese trading. That is not the same as Chinese government blocking.  Bitcoin is still above the $4000 level. Perhaps it will maintain this for a while. Can Chinese investors not use other exchange.

On the contrary, on a average from different trading platforms, bitcoin is trading at $38xx so the dumping of the Chinese still continues. I believed that we are in the eye of the storm currency, but as I see it we can withstand this storm and this is just temporary. Once this storm has left we can see the sun once again. I don't know if Chinese traders can go outside of China to trade. Maybe they can use VPN to get away with the i.p. address issue. But for us non-Chinese, this is a perfect time to buy cheap bitcoins. So let's hodl and not panic but preferably get bitcoin now while its price is low.
10892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon: Bitcoin Is a 'Fraud' on: September 13, 2017, 12:36:39 PM
JP Morgan Chase chief executive Jamie Dimon doubled down on his past criticisms of bitcoin today, declaring it a "fraud" and saying he would fire any trader known to be trading the cryptocurrency.

And Recently bitcoin price started dropping very quick and its like $1 dollars in a minute and within few hours today its now in $3923!!
China keeps the market stable but when "Jamie Dimon" speaks about this market started falling huge!

Check this attached photo:

What you guys feel about this movement?

Maybe he called it fraud because of what happening in cryptos now its all going down including btc . They assume that bitcoin is always high price thats why now they are saying fraud, scam etc but no one can break bitcoin . Millions of btc users all over the world can you think it is a fraud now?

They say is a fraud because bitcoin + lightning network would render banks useless, and these guys live awesome rich elite lifes thanks to their banking system scam that allows them to collect money for life while doing absolutely nothing. They hate that common people are getting rich by buying and holding an asset that doesn't depreciate overtime unlike their fiat scam.

Let them crash market as many times as they want, bitcoin will always recover, there's always bull pressure and new floors will be found. Don't forget we were at $800 just a year ago.

I agree. They are now feeling threaten by bitcoin/blockchain technology that they feel they need to do something about it and the best way is to create panic amongst investor as we all know that he is very influential as head of JP Morgan. But just like you said, we always recover from all the issues being thrown our way.
The only thing I notice is the timing though, I'm pretty sure he knows about the current situation of the market and he's statement really put everyone nervous that's why the sudden dump and the price is nose diving as we speak.
10893  Economy / Economics / Re: dropping value on: September 13, 2017, 12:11:23 PM
what's happening in the bitcoin?? Why continue his descent? should we Convert bitcoin in php?? Im worried for this, my bitcoin is still down,

Convert bitcoin to php?

Go ahead you may do whatever you like its your bitcoin. That's why people around here said the "weak hands are shaken" and you are one good example of it. If you sell your bitcoin then what's gonna happen to you if you see the price go to $5000? Regretful? That's why members here are advising you not to panic in this situation because bitcoin is very volatile because of a lot of negative news coming from China and JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon calling bitcoin as fraud. This is the cause of the price decrease. So just stay calm because once bitcoin recovered you will be happy that you didn't sell your bitcoin today.
10894  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the moon!!! on: September 12, 2017, 01:39:17 PM
BTC  can not be defeated,  many  country once  banned btc , but  all those country  re-accepted  btc  at last.   btc will  be the  worldwide coin in future.

this is already very certain ,, but in the last two days bitcoin has decreased enough to worry ,, and I think more to continue to buy bitcoin so we can see bitcoin back to the track with an expensive price ..
and this will benefit us in the future ...
The decline of bitcoin may be due to the Chinese state issue will ban the exchangers, but I also don't follow the news and how it will be now?. After this problem is finished I think bitcoin will go back up hopefully bitcoin demand will rise later.

The demand of bitcoin is already increase and that we can notice from the increasing price of bitcoin in recent times and in future we will see more people getting into bitcoins which will again contribute in taking price to higher level and that will surely take bitcoins to the moon.
there has been a start of rising bitcoin prices and now we have started to leave a negative trend that has happened for a few days ago. although the Chinese state still has not given a clear statement but the demand and also the development of bitcoin increased dramatically.

Well its looks like bitcoin is recovering to recover anyways despite the negative news coming from one the best supporter of bitcoin-China. The price has significantly risen now, from almost a week of bloodbath. Even ETH is above $300 now. I guess with or without China, bitcoin will lived as almost all of us have seen. I read that that they are targeting 2-3 years in shutting down all the local exchanges but I don't know if this is fake news again or real. Again, we should moved forward now and forget all about China.
10895  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN DUMP - CHINESE ARE OFFLOADING... on: September 12, 2017, 01:08:59 PM
Is a monster dump on the way?

I'm looking at the charts and seeing quite the opposite. I am seeing loads of FUD combined with incredibly bearish sentiment. And all the while, bears simply can't push the price down. Rejected over and over. Accumulation.

We are setting up for another strong leg up. It might be the blow off top that the bears were hoping for. I suspect the current consolidation is garnering lots of short positions which will be squeezed at the top. Then we can finally have a real correction. $6000s-$7000s IMO.

I think consolidation has started and trying to see if we can get to $4500 tops. The FUDs and this negative news coming from China should be over at least that way I see it. They already made their moved a couple of days ago. So I think they have complete stop the dump or just thinking of transferring their coins to other exchange outside of China. I'm with you with the $6000-$7000 prediction,. But I want to see the price hold on $5000 and see that the steam has been brewing before hitting $6000-$7000 in the coming months.
10896  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 【2017-09-12】It Will Take Two or Three Years B4 all Chinese Exchanges Are Banned on: September 12, 2017, 12:30:11 PM
Forget the Chinese news journals, even mainstream world wide media reporting about a possible ban. When publications like Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg start talking about a ban, you have to take them seriously. I am not sure if the Chinese government will achieve its objectives, but it does seem to be trying to crush Bitcoin. The ICO ban was just the first step in a series of efforts.

But still the question is why now? But not when bitcoin has in still infancy? I think they are waging this war because they felt that the government are being threaten here. But if they really want to ban local exchanges then so be it. If I'm a Chinese trader I will be moving my funds by now. Maybe to Kraken or Polo as long as its not on the reach of the government. Just pretty sad to hear these news though as China has been the front of bitcoin mining, bitcoin trading in the last couple of years. But this is a perfect opportunity for other country to take the void that China would have left.
10897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you tell if you are suffering from gambling addiction? on: September 12, 2017, 11:49:18 AM
I just want to ask how would you know if a person is suffering from gambling addiction. Can you guys tell me the signs of it?

I can tell if someone is addicted in gambling when the person forget his job/school just to gamble, when he spend all his time in a casino/gambling sites, become very irritable specially if he lost big amount of money, trying to get back lost money by gambling more and the worst sign is when the person start to borrow money or has a big debt just to sustain his gambling addiction.
When they no longer know their priorities in life, and let gambling always comes first to them ,then they are totally addicted. Anything that is too much will not really be good for ourselves, always put some limits.

I would also like to add that they are easily annoyed whenever they haven't gamble throughout the day. The worst is that they put that anger by hurting someone especially their families that cannot give his money that he asked for.

True. I have witnessed this gambler multiple times already. The worst part is that it can easily torn a family or even friends. Really painful to see someone you care turn into a gambling addict after showing him/her how to gamble. I felt guilty about it and party to blame for this person life suddenly turns upside down after introducing him/her into the gambling world. If I knew that my one of my friend will turn into this, I shouldn't let him gamble in the first place. I felt really sorry and guilty. There are times that we will talk personally and he/she will just cry over it. So sad really. Sad
10898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if BTC gets regulated? on: September 12, 2017, 11:26:43 AM
Bitcoin will never be regulated by the state. Perhaps the state will try to create their own crypto currency and they will be monitored by the government. Don't know how it's going to have the trust of the people, but such currency will be more stable that's for sure.

That is no true. There are already some countries where Bitcoin is already regulated, like Netherlands and some US states, Japan. And there is no harm in Bitcoin regulation, that could only benefit because it would lead to biger addoption, especialy in businesses, and then you can divide legal from illegal Bitcoin operations. Regulation doesn't mean centralization that many users have fear.

I think in Japan its already legalized as legal tender. That's why you see a lot of business in Japan has already started to accept bitcoin as payment just like their Yen. Japan has already set the bar high as to how a country can "regulate" or "legalized" bitcoin. Yes, regulation doesn't mean centralization. Regulation is there to check and see to it that you have not violated lets say AML law or your country. So its really far fetch for me how bitcoin can be regulated or "controlled" by the government. Its either they ban or accept bitcoin. IMHO.
10899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 11, 2017, 09:42:44 AM
Rafael Nadal has lifted up his 3rd US Open title including the 16th Grand slam title, not only that but also he has reached the pinnacle of the ATP rating. though this year is not favourable for him because of losing in the Wimbledon Final against his rival Roger Federer after a mammoth 5 hours games. he recently recovered from the knee injury and he has to struggle a lot to reach this position. if he could manage his injury year after year then he would have reached all time grand slam record.

I got the feeling that either Nadal and Federer will continue to dominate tennis this year. And this year US Open belongs to Nadal and maybe the next big tournament will be won by Federer. This veterans are really showing that they can still rule the tennis for more years. Perhaps these 2 are really taking care of their body to be able to take long matches. Good to see Nadal back at the the no. 1 spot. I think as I have mentioned they know to take care of their body so to avoid injuries One factor is that they are taking breaks from time to time and just selects which tournament to enter to give their body ample time to rest and heal.
10900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I convert my BCH to BTC? on: September 11, 2017, 09:12:01 AM
Just keep on holding it, I never got it up until now with electron cash. But I have a big sense that this coin is going to be a big blow in the upcoming years. Just like ETH there's a possibility that BCH can follow those top alt coins in the market so just be patient and wait for the right time before selling it.

Well the dump of BCH is now over and what's left in those individual who thinks that BCH has the potential to go big in the future. They maybe some pump in the coming months so I advise those to hodl if you don't want to convert it BCH for now. I already dumped my BCH and I don't regret even If a see the price go higher in the future.

Like many others I hold the BCH I got during the fork.
Those are coins I did not expected to have, so they don't show up anywhere in my plans.
Maybe they surprise me in a few years. But for next few years, those coins will not be touched.

Its free coins anyway and if you able to maximize and get huge profit in the future, then hold on it. There is really a possibility that this coins will take off in the coming months or years. And as mentioned, it could take the path of ETH so its really has the potential to spike as well.
