10881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ERC20 tokens on Myetherwallet on: October 08, 2017, 12:15:07 PM

I got that we can see the token on MEW if we add the custom token before receiving from them. Can we able to add the custom token and see the coins on MEW AFTER receiving the coins from them?
If not how can we send the coins to other exchanges?

You need to customized your MEW to see your tokens. See below customized data that you need.

Contract:
Symbol:
Decimal:

Now, if you received your token and see it in your MEW, you need to register to the exchange that the token will be listed. Then send you tokens to that exchanges. But you need to deposit ETH on your MEW first so that you have gas. Gas is like a fee that you need to pay in bitcoins. If you do not have ETH, then you can't send it to that exchanges.
10882  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaigns: New Rule Suggestion on: October 08, 2017, 11:41:15 AM
I agree with user dothebeats minds above. There is no reason to rush signature campaign managers just to prevent free advertising of company. Anyway, mostly campaign managers accept or deny users quite fast. You should understand that posting with having paid signature is not a job, so, you will not loose anything if you won't get paid for some posts.
P.S. It's a bit fun to see users who always jumping through campaigns when they notice higher paying campaign started. They leaving current their campaign in middle of round and if they not accepted to higher paying campaign, they back to their current campaign again. I think that users have to show a little loaylty to company that they are advertising and not behave like a bitches.

P.S. And there was one participant who have been caught jumping from one campaign to another and then went back when we was rejected. Unfortunately, he was caught and subsequently get the red tag. And I totally agree with you all, this rule show not be implemented. Its still up to the campaign manager. And we can't really force they to apply it to their campaign. If you are rejected then something must be wrong with your posting or posting history.
10883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you check Bitcoin price everyday? on: October 08, 2017, 11:12:22 AM
Of course we all do. I want to check what is the current price and see if its going up or going down. You want to see if you're investing is doing good or not. And when its down, I look for the reasons why. Is there a negative news around? And I also buy when the price is down as well. So its really important for most of us to really check and be updated on the current price. I usually goes to preev.com or epsilon.one.
10884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When the bounty campaign is weak, but the ICO is successful on: October 07, 2017, 07:29:37 PM
Hi guys,

Perhaps you have encountered situations when some projects have a weak or completely failed bounty campaign, but ultimately they hold a successful ICO. Why is this happening?

For example, the project Ambrosus with whom I happened to deal. In the comments to the bounty campaign there are complaints that nothing can be understood in the campaign rules. And there really is not as usual. Probably therefore the number of participants in the signature campaign, Twitter and other programs is minimal, but the project has already raised more than 100000 ETH. Is this an exception or is it so often?

Ok here is the thing. The bounty has minimal participants but it has raised a lot of funds. I think I would join that campaign, Why? because you are very lucky that the tokens will be divided among few participants. So as a result each one of you will get a lot of tokens. As compare to a bounty that has a lot of participants but if you are going to divide them it will result to like .010 cents or less per token. Did you get the idea?

The fact is that in this campaign everything is fixed and based on the Swiss franc, and not divided as usual among the participants. And the conditions are good enough. In particular, in the social media campaign.

This maybe one of the factors that why the project didn't get enough traction from the community. And you also said that the rules are not clear, hunters here wants the bounty to be divided and its fixed then there is really a disconnect from the community.

Or maybe there are a lot of hype around this project before the actual ICO that's why they got huge investments from the very beginning. I do think that pre-Marketing has something to contribute to the success eventhough the bounty campaigns has little participants.
10885  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do so many people wait for "bitcoin to crash" to buy some, and miss out on: October 07, 2017, 06:56:07 PM
These people who don't want to buy because "the price is high" will only buy it when fiat money is abolished by governments and replaced by bitcoin. But by that time, bitcoin will be 1 million dollars each, and they will not be able to complain about the "high price".

There is no high for bitcoin, only lows. If you buy at $4000, expect to be $6000 in six months, or even earlier than that.

Yeah. That's one lesson I learn the hard way. We should get bitcoin whatever the price. You just need patience because it will take time to really show how much profit you can get. History charts are on our side. Bitcoin has proven time and time again that it can rise in time. So if you think that the price is too high for you, think again. You don't want to regret your decision saying that you should have bought it when the price is $4000 because the price could you as high as $6000-$7000 in the next 6 months. So prepare your funds now so that you can't miss the party later.
10886  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I hold? on: October 06, 2017, 06:22:00 AM
You never lost with hold. Buy and forget your coin and don't track daily prices. If you track you can make panic and sell your coins.

Those who HOLD are the real winners simply because bitcoin is really great in term of making money. Just be more patience and for sure you will enjoy the benefits of it in the future. There is a great opportunity here in bitcoin we just need to use it well.

There are no doubt that bitcoin is the best to hold for long term. This year alone it has rose to more than %300. Imagine if you have been holding bitcoin that long, you should be millionaires by now. But its really hard to hold that long though, maybe if you have forgotten it. Because sometimes when you see that the price is really strong and high and you have good returns, if hard not to sell and take your profits. You really need a lot of discipline and patience.
10887  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is China still going to ban bitcoin exchange in China on: October 06, 2017, 05:13:49 AM
There is a chance China would lift the ban. They might be planning something big with this. Considerimg 70% of mines are in China.

Correct, we must prepare on what is going to happen next, we don't know what can China do to the cryptos, mostly they are the big whales in the market, some bitcoin drama so the people will sell their bitcoins because of panicking and they are the one who is going to be benefited by this. Just hold your bitcoin guys, let's hang to it, it is promising.

Well we have been sailing without China already so I think we are good already. Some of the exchanges have been close already. Last news I heard is that they are not totally banning exchanges, they just would like to see that they should apply permit before operating. So likely that they have been drafting rules and regulations before allowing them to be up once more. Just hold on your bitcoin and see what happens next.
10888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rise is over on: October 06, 2017, 03:17:08 AM

I think the bitcoin will steadily grew up because I see the graph of the growth of the movement of the bitcoin that bitcoin already is at $4300 and it will likely be increasing up $4500 even more this month, but still many people that worry will be the movement of the bitcoin fearing to fall again. but I am sure this will not happen in the bitcoin
However the price grow with steady phase, at some point the fluctuations will be experienced causing a drop in the value. Here the users need to understand that the price variations is the factor provided with the profit as well the price gets recovered in a short or longer time period. Hold until get profited rather than getting panic and ending up losing.

Of course there will be always price fluctuations. This is also present even in the stock trading. Others took it hard when they see that the price is going down because they fear that they might end up loosing. However, you really have to understand that the market will not stay bullish all the time. The OP though that the rise is over, however, we can seen bitcoin lately in a see-saw form. Not the one that we are expecting. But there will be a time that the market will be very bullish and once you see that, all your worries and frustrations and doubts with the market will be removed.
10889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots Strategies? on: October 05, 2017, 07:46:22 AM
I have played slots before and sometimes its really infuriating and other times a lot of addicting fun. But There doesnt seem much more to it than spinning the reels or pressing one button. Does anyone know of any slot strategies people use? Is there such a thing as a professional slotter haha. OR is it really the most heavily dependent on luck gambling game ?

I'm a slot player and I must say that there is no strategy. But what I usually do is to start with a minimum then gradually increase my bet if I'm not getting any wins. Usually, I got lucky and hit a bonus with a max bet and sometimes I win big, but most of the times the bonus was just so-so. So I must say its solely depends on luck. But I usually won big by betting max bet. If you have huge bankroll then try to go big, but if you have small a minimum bet is ok and you don't know maybe you can hit the major jackpot.
10890  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitPay’s Bitcoin Payments Volume Grows by 328%, On Pace for $1 Billion Yearly on: October 05, 2017, 07:05:16 AM
Actually there is almost no any good alternative to bitpay so all merchants are just using them as third party bitcoin processors. This growth they have also suggest many new merchants are now accepting bitcoin as payment method (atleast for deposit), lately skrill and neteller have also added bitcoin as deposit method which is quite shocking for me.

Skrill and Neteller wants to target bitcoin users to remain in online payment business  Grin Grin

Skrill and Neteller wants to take a slice of the pie. As evident by how much Bitpay has profited as being a third party. They have really captured most of the market and with little competition, its not quite surprising to see them at the top. But I'm seeing the Skrill and Neteller entering the picture. So let's see how it goes. Although they are new in the business, Healthy competition is good for us. At least we have options right now and I do hope that they will offer good service as well.
10891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you think its good if whole world will have ICO regulations? on: October 05, 2017, 06:40:25 AM
do you think its good if whole world will have ICO regulations?
do we want that?
why?
and what can be a solution for that?

As for me yes, it would be a good idea. So that we can weed out in the beginning those ICO that are really scamming investors of their hard earn money. Instead of countries are one by one cracking it down which is not good to the market. China has started it, crashing the price last Sept then South Korea follow as well. Those investors in bitcoin losses confidence once they see that country are taking a hard line against it. So much better to just put a regulation and that company should apply and get a permit or license before offering any ICO.
10892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN CASH is probably DYING on: October 05, 2017, 12:46:38 AM
What will be the future for Bitcoin Cash after the Bitcoin Gold become officially accepted in the market this coming October 25 and November 1? I think the condition of Bitcoin Cash will become more critical.

I think that Bitcoin Cash price will really be affected once the November HF took place. So if I'm a holder of Bitcoin Cash, I will get out now and not wait till the price crashes. The future for them is really bleak as there are no support, if there is, its Bitmain only. So there's no doubt that in just a couple of months after the November HF, the price could be around $100. They will have the same price as Bitcoin Gold and will remain behind Bitcoin. And its gonna be difficult for them to even touch $1000. Both of them will die because of no support from the community.
10893  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think China has halted the pace of bitcoin reaching new high?? on: October 04, 2017, 11:46:28 PM
Yes, they have, there is no doubt about it.

The market is very boring right now. I have been trying to make some extra from altcoins but they are going down when bitcoin go down, and up when bitcoin go up, instead of the contrary.

So bored that I even not checking it anymore. Used to check each six hours, the price, how much I have in bittrex, etc, now is only one check per day. Just boring... bitcoin is dead, its all I can say.

I don't think bitcoin is dead. The market is just slow right now as you have said. Of course it should not be always bullish and you know that. Sometimes we hit something along the way that will pull back the price. As much as we want to really profit everyday, it will not be the case, that's why we need a lot of patience when doing trading. And for the China effect, yes, it may halted the rise of the bitcoin price, but is now over. They don't have that much influence on the price now. It's almost a month now since they have those announcement that significantly affects the market. But we already moved passed from it. So don't bother about China now.
10894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is finding members for signature bounties getting harder and harder? on: October 03, 2017, 11:51:27 PM
That's because a lot of people have lost trust Alt signature bounty. Its not easy to work for a whole month and still yet get nothing. Gone are those days when you get good ones.
But its good say that bitcoin signature bounties is still reliable.

I don't think that they don't have trust. Its that more don't want to because its way too long before getting a reward. And its only fulfilling to high rank members such as Sr and Hero member you get the most of the stakes. Although Jr to Full Member are accepted, those members wish to get a week payment just like in btc forum. However this is not the just in bounties. But if I get to a Sr Member rank, I will definitely target bounties. I don't mind the long wait because its gonna be rewarding after 4-8 weeks of work.
10895  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rise is over on: October 03, 2017, 09:44:16 PM
Every time that we see a minor price drop, a lot of thread starts popping in saying that bitcoin is headed for doom and will crash. Yeah I agree, it will crash soon. But, did you also point in the graph that it can and will recovered from the crash? And the like scenario is the negative news that was cause by China, the price crash, however two weeks since and the price goes to $4000+. And besides, we can't compare what happened in 2013 to today. And the price just dip by $200. I hope you will also create a thread when bitcoin surges past $5000.
10896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: October 03, 2017, 04:53:29 PM
I think that the regulation of ICO will do good. Projects will be more transparent and workable!
yes its what we need and what we hope from temporarily ico ban in china that affect value of ico. despite ico ban regulation from china and korea. there is still a hope from country such as japan who support ICO. I hope japan could change and fix this problem. as we can see its already did a great job by bring back bitcoin price from 3k back to 4k . anyway to make ICO accepted we need a secure way to determined which is scam and which is a true ico with a real project.

For me the banning of ICO will be just temporary. China and South Korea will just put up a regulation so that they can't scam anymore of their citizens specially Chinese. The company should be completely transparent and register everything to the government and they will make a review and release their decision if the ICO can ran in their country. I think the government has the right to protect its people against ICO that are really a scam. So it they are running out to run off people's money, they will have second doubts because they have to full registered every detail to the government body.
10897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: October 03, 2017, 03:52:38 PM
Just went there last night. Lost like .03-.04BTC. The gambler that I am, went home took my card withdraw it and went back playing once more. Luckily I was won big and was able to recovered my losses and still won. But I was thinking when I'm driving going back home that I shouldn't to that next time. But I have the feeling that I'm going to win on my return that's why I took the chance. But please don't do it. I just follow my gut feeling and I know that I can control myself. It's just a have a different feeling that night. So yes, I love going to land based casino when I'm felling I'm "lucky" that day.
10898  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell? on: October 03, 2017, 03:20:54 PM
Waiting for bitcoin to go down - at least  below 4k.
Usually I am buying some small amounts for every 2-5% of price change in order to have more flexible sells.

Now holding.

Its going down $4200 right now. You still waiting for it to get below $4000?

I'm buying when I get home. Will try to just get in small portion just like you and see how the market price will react. If it goes down in the next 24 hours then I will get in again. But it is goes higher, then I already got some decent returns. I just try to buy in dips and not waiting for a certain point before buying. For me, any dip is a good buying point. Of course the lower and cheap the price the better. But I'll stick to this strategy because so far its effective on my end.
10899  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which wallet is best on: October 02, 2017, 03:47:05 PM
For web wallet I highly recommended blockchain.info and green address. And for the desktop wallet there are only two for me, bitcoin core and electrum but I'm using electrum as this is a very easy to use and user-friendly wallet. Fees on blockchain.info are quite lower today unlike before where all wallets does charge too expensive fees.

Electrum for me is the best wallet. Well its the only wallet I have used so far for bitcoin. It's very lightweight, user friendly and the most important thing is that you can choose how much fee's you want to. And the private keys is on your possession. You just need to backup your private keys so recover your wallet.

I know the OP asked for bitcoin wallet, but if you do need altcoin wallet as well, you can try Exodus.

10900  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Another Bitcoin Hard Fork due in November. BTC price up or down? on: October 02, 2017, 03:06:39 PM
it seems very difficult to do that prediction, but I'm sure many people hope that hardfork in november will make a new record bitcoin prices.

Its really hard to predict what would be the price movement. Look at the Aug. 1 split, people says that bitcoin will go down and their would be a huge market price. But the opposite happened, instead of a price dip, the price rose exponentially and even touch $3000. So I'm expecting that the same could happen in the looming fork. A lot of uncertainties, doubt and everything, but at the end of day, bitcoin surges ahead.

The possibility of bitcoin prices in November will increase because the evaluation is run for the second time so that if the price down will make a disappointment for an investment and bitcoiners who continue to seek the highest income.

LOL. If you are not here for the long term, surely you will be disappointed. However, as traders, you should know that the market is not always bullish. There will come a time that the price could go down and it is a potential loss on your end. However, historical chart says that bitcoin will always recovered soon.
