IMO a ban should be visible in the user's profile, so campaign owners may identify rule breakers and refuse to pay them. This should solve a lot of problems.

Yeah, I think this would be a wise idea, not to mention helpful for others if people are currently in the middle of a deal or loan etc. If you can't log in or PM it could easily look like you've done a runner. It was recently discussed in one of the other ban threads in Meta.
10962  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ EARN 0.0006 BTC PER POST - FLAT RATE FOR 45 DAYS - JR. MEMBERS ALLOWED ★★★ on: May 09, 2014, 11:11:02 AM
So I'm wasting my time with this?

Read the rest of the thread from the beginning and make your own mind up, but it's quite clear he had no intention of paying, nor would it've even be profitable for him to do so. All he wanted people to do was collect some extra dust from his referral link commissions.
10963  Economy / Services / Re: WE WILL PAY MORE FOR YOUR SIGNATURE! Up to 0.0014 btc per post! on: May 09, 2014, 10:45:30 AM
Experience is not everything. I would prefer someone who never done it, but has a great trust rating and is great with people. Teaching is easy, gaining trust is hard.

Are you applying for the position?  Grin

It kinda seems that way. The ban was unfortunately timed I must admit, but not all bans are for nefarious reasons, though I don't know the full details in this case.
10964  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nintendo's rejection of gay relationships gives fans a lot to be angry about on: May 09, 2014, 10:21:24 AM
Fortunately the government was not brought in to use the force of a gun to make the decision.

Well... I am afraid that it is going to happen quite soon. It is just a matter of days before the blackmail tactics come out in the open. There will be several (forced) boycotts of Nintendos. Their merchandise will be taken off the supermarkets, and online shopping sites for example.

People are free to boycott whatever they want are they not? You seem to be fine with people boycotting Subway stores when they start selling only Halal meat.
10965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ask Amazon for Bitcoin Payments on: May 09, 2014, 09:58:45 AM
Hi,

Today I had an interesting chat with an Agent from Amazon. I was trying to clear a different issue, when I ask him whether there plans to integrate Bitcoin as a payment possibility. He told me that the subject has been discussed internally, but as long as the customers not ask for it they wont implement it.

So, I asked for it now, what about you?

Regards

Jupppo

Where were you talking to this agent? I'm sure it has been discussed internally, but there have been many campaigns and users here emailing Amazon requesting they accept Bitcoin and they usually just get a canned response back if any. I'm sure they'll see the benefits of Bitcoin eventually providing the coin keeps growing.

Hi, Bitwilliams_CO asked me to provide escrow service.

Escrow fees and process:

Escrow fees 1%
Process:

1. Inform me whenever you want to deal with Bitwilliams_CO
2. I will send a contract to both with bitcoin address where Bitwilliams_CO will send funds and you will be able to check on blockchain.
3. Once funds are there you can PM me ID/Password/Alternate contact id/bitcoin address.
4. Then I will change Account password and email for security.
5. I will forward details to Bitwilliams_CO, and send bitcoin payment to Account seller.

That's not a bad way of doing things and is probably the safest way of assuring a smooth takeover, but the account can still be taken back by proving you own it by signing an address. I guess you've just got to trust or have faith that this won't happen. I'm also sure you and others would negbomb the sold account upon a complaint from the buyer, so maybe that adds a little more security, but it's still not a watertight deal whatever way.

pirates of caribian   is good movies watch i think it is one of funniest movies in world

Yes... Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the best. But I am losing my patience, waiting for the next part. It is already more than three years since the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides was released. When they are going to release the 5th part?

2016 apparently: http://m.imdb.com/title/tt1790809/ I've only seen the first two.

Well I saw some so-so comments about Bruce Willis and Die Hard, and about movie Taken.
Look guys, be realistic, Bruce is one of top 5 actors (for me, and for many people) in whole world, he is one of the best.
That is fact, he is legend of Hollywood, just as Tom Hanks, Arnie, Mel, Russell, Liam etc etc.
Why I like all Die Hard parts and Taken? Because they have story: One person can make difference.

Bruce plays his actionman role well, but he's only really got one character and that's Bruce Willis. If you love action movies and Bruce Willis that's fine, but he's not in the top five actors in the world, unless it's the top five actors who play Bruce Willis  Cheesy. Jason Statham comes in at number 2  Grin.

Oscar Pistorius: 'heartbroken' athlete took up art therapy

http://www.theweek.co.uk/world-news/oscar-pistorius/53387/oscar-pistorius-denies-sinister-remark-reeva-s-friend

Quote
Yvette Van Schalkwyk, who was asked to give Pistorius emotional support and assess his mental state following the shooting, said that he had cried 80 per cent of the time. “From the first second, I saw a man who was heartbroken about the loss, he cried, he was in mourning,” she said. “He suffered emotionally. He loved her.”

All that may or may not be true, or maybe now he's not in the heat of the moment he is constantly aware and overcome with the guilt of what his temper and anger and reckless actions have caused; to commit a regrettable murder of someone he did love and care about. This would weigh on the majority of sane people like a tonne of bricks regardless of his genuine intent.

Full Members - 0.0008BTC per constructive post... Not much higher from what Stunna pays (promised to pay)... Cool

Howzar has run successful campaigns before, but not one on this scale. An extra 0.0002 is quite a bit, though maybe Stunna will match or better Ritz's rates for next term anyway. We can only hope Grin.

If so, why are you still on Stunna's sig? Grin

Probably for the same reasons you are.
10970  Other / Meta / Re: I was banned for no reason? on: May 09, 2014, 09:20:49 AM
You are howzar and Mobo?

Yes I am both.

Lol, in your signature campaign thread you forbid people from having multiple accounts... And what we see now! Grin

Those were the terms set out by the original operator/owner of the actual deal, but those terms were actually just copied directly from Ritz's thread any way.

Multiple accounts make sense only if you're going to submit more posts than the upper limit set for the campaign. I'm curious how anyone is going to write more than 3,000 posts a month (and not get banned at that)... Cool

Not neccesarily for those reasons. I think Ritz just put that in there to make it fairer and to stop one person gaming the system in whatever way. Ironically it was monday that was the cause of Ritz's deal ceasing operation initially because he was buying multiple accounts to collect the upfront payment (though this was Ritz's fault for offering up-front payments. Also I don't think he originally stated only one account per person was allowed then).

I also have the same problem but I thought Its gone when you get Jr. Member status? If I'm wrong please explain me.

Look through the link I posted earlier in this thread, it explains everything.

Sorry, but am I that Newbie really? I checked your thread and didn't found anything related with waiting periods of 6 minutes per post. If there is really information about that can you exactly show where It Is because In your thread I read everything and really there is nothing mentioned about It.

Wait Times right down at the bottom on the second post:

waittime = 360;
if(activity >= 15)
        waittime = (int)(90 - activity);
if(activity >= 60)
        waittime=(int)(34.7586 - (0.0793103 * activity));
if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4);

Hey possible great news. We a know ritz has higher rates than primedice but I just saw updown has one with even higher rates. We'll see if primedice raises to keep up.

What's updown?  Is that another sig campaign?

Yes, it's another sig campaign that pays per post, without a limit on the maximum number of posts. At the moment, they are effectively the highest paid campaign for all forum ranks. Howzar is the one organizing it.

Where's the link? Wanna see it, lol... Grin

It's not looking good for Howzar though. Looks like he's been banned: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=601491.0

What racism card do I play exactly? You can't say things that are completely racist or which obviously show your distaste of certain minorities and groups then complain and cry when people call you out on them. Thankfully not everyone in the world holds the same beliefs as you.

OK... I have tolerated your shit for too long. Time to add you to my ignore list. Now fight with someone else.

That's a shame you're pulling a Lethn. Sounds like you're tired of being in the wrong and using that ignore button as an excuse to not even bother like he does. Read the other thread. I actually think you have a lot of intelligent things to say (unlike Lethn), but you just seem to mix it up with stuff I just think is completely ignorant and I fundamentally don't agree with, nor do I understand your reasons for believing in it a lot of the time, but if you don't want to continue in intelligent discussions or making your point, then fair enough. I can't do anything about that.
10976  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nintendo's rejection of gay relationships gives fans a lot to be angry about on: May 09, 2014, 08:34:16 AM
You're absolutely right, self moderated threads suck. The thing is, I just can't stand stupidity and gratuitous provocation, like the bryant.coleman Putin bootlicking bigot posting FUD like: "Asia, Africa, Russia and Latin America, where 99% of the population is opposed to homosexuality". Where the fuck did he get those statistics?

He got them from the top of his head. I don't understand him. He often has a lot of intelligent stuff to say (unlike Lethn) and I enjoy discussing topics with him mostly, but then he says a lot of completely ignorant shit and pulls figures out like that that he's obviously just made up and it's completely baffling. But of course, we are bigots for pointing out bigotry  Roll Eyes.
10977  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nintendo's rejection of gay relationships gives fans a lot to be angry about on: May 09, 2014, 08:26:20 AM
To be a bigot you don't have to hate every other thing in the world, but Bryant seems to have quite the penchant for disliking a lot of things like Muslims and immigrants and homosexuals etc and that to me seems pretty intolerant or bigoted or whatever you wish to call it.

Unfortunately I don't need your certificate to prove anything. You can be a crybaby and play the racism card all day long, and people will not bother about it. May be things work out like that in England, but definitely not across the world.

I don't think you know what bigoted means lol Cheesy sometimes I can't resist showing your posts and they do make me laugh at times.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Bigot?s=t

Quote
a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.

Yeah, so that means that in order to be a bigot you have to be intolerable of just about anything that isn't you, not one or two things, so it looks like not only do you not know what racism actually is you seem to be unaware of various words as well.

Really the only ones here who are bigots are you and The Irishman because you consider people who have a different opinion to you bigots and you attack them lolz irony.

I thought you didn't read my posts Lethn? You obviously do but only reply when you think an opportunity has arisen for you to get one over on me, but as usual you rush in and present only ignorance. The rest of the time when you know you can't make an intelligent reply you just keep quiet hiding behind that 'ignore' button that you quite clearly only like telling people you've used it on as an excuse to get out of arguing with people far more intelligent than you.

And you're being quite selective with your definition there. I'm not intolerant of other peoples views either if you even bother to read my post in the other thread. You can and are free to make ignorant, racist, xenophobic, intolerant shit all you want, but doesn't mean I won't call you out on it.

You're probably not that much of a bigot, but you are an infinite tool.

10979  Other / Meta / Re: I think i was banned for nothing! on: May 09, 2014, 07:52:28 AM
I actually think it's just posting crap under the sig deals that gets people banned. Probably half of newbs post crap and hollow, generic replies that don't contribute much but they'll probably be fine. Obviously if they become disruptive or go on a spamming/trolling spree that will probably change, but I think they're usually safe otherwise.
10980  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nintendo's rejection of gay relationships gives fans a lot to be angry about on: May 09, 2014, 07:45:00 AM
Nintendo's justification makes sense.  They don't want to rock the boat.  What the Western elite don't realize, is that most Westerners and just about all non-Westerners view homosexual relationships as something that shouldn't be part of the public sphere.  Allowing them in the game would mean that Nintendo is taking a controversial position.

You pretend to speak in the name of an awful lot of people there. One more bigoted moron for my ignore list.

I think that's how bigots usually see the world though. Their mindset, opinions and choices are the only valid ones and they seem to get them confused as fact a lot. As much as I dislike them and what they say, they still should be free to voice their opinions though (regarding self-moderation and the bigoted version of this thread that has spawned).

And thankfully it's probably the opposite. Most 'westerners' probably don't really care about homosexuals 'being in the 'public sphere' or are of the opinion that they deserve to be there as much as anyone else.
