Yeah true enough. I guess I assumed people were following through...silly me.

Here comes the retribution for stealing ~50-100k BTC STyle ??

"Youre a scammer"

WOAH!!...ohh the humanity....its worse than Hitler....

...ho humm...Easy targets Cheesy

The only known scammer that didn't suffer such humiliation was Tom Williams.

Nah, he got scammer tagged under his other name, Bruce Wagner. Very misleading.

Actually, no! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2033

Edited the title by request from MNW.

If I find the hidden camera that overlooks my desk gleaning my notes, I'm goin' smash it.

Here's my charitable busines model I was going to propose in the near future, but might as well do it now.

With Bitcoin 100 acting as the driving force for this soon-to-be ongoing campaign, site owners could install a donation button, soliciting donations for their favorite NPO/NGO. By doing such, they can earn up to a 10% referral fee of all donations collected, with 100% of the rest of donations going toward their non-profit of choice. Bitcoin 100 receives no fees as the acting liaison between all concerns, for we would be self-supported.

Improve upon that model!

~Bruno K~

Good idea. Would the people donating know if there is some referral involved? Guess not, else they would find ways to donate without referral.

Yes they would! It's not uncommon for non-profits to pay agencies a 10% to 50% cut to solicit donations on their behalf. Using that truism as a baseline, why not offer an incentive to individuals, thus allowing them to earn a 10% fee. They would have the option of taking a lesser cut, or donating their fee to the same charity or some other. All done automatically once they set the parameters which would be a relatively easy process. Everybody's instantly approved and only bitcoins accepted. All charitable organizations accepted as well.

I wonder how many Dollars were stolen from customers in this heist.

Don't worry, they're not real dollars. Just 'database' dollars. The real dollars are safe in the basement of the white house.

And why would the White House keep paper in its basement when the real money is in their pretend currency?

10974  Economy / Gambling / Re: This is the magnificent bitcoin gem on: February 06, 2013, 06:00:15 PM
One minor tweak I would make to this game: It should have an automatic reset after a certain amount of time of inactivity (say 1 day). When that happens, the site BUYS BACK the gem and resets it to the initial price.

Now everyone has a chance to participate again at the lower price. Otherwise, once the price reaches a certain point you're pool of vict... err "customers" shrinks to near zero.

Won't work, for there's only approximately half the last purchase price in the site owner's coffer.

This could have went down in history. Now its just ....ehh.

No need to fret...

...soon, a commerce site will emerge, based on maxmint's game.

Stay tuned!

Will it be a Bitcoin diamond?

No, purplewolf, it won't be a BitcoinDiamond.

The word “February” is pronounced fe-broo-airy by some and feb-you-airy by others. That is interesting–I think it is a case of sound change, but I do not know (maybe it is dialectal thing?).
Also this is interesting:
OCTober oct means eight (octopus, octagon)
SEPTtember sept means seven in French
NOVember the nov represents nine (neuf is none in French)
DECember the dec represents ten

JANuary is not named for God of Asics.
FEBruary, not to be mistaken for FAB, is a very special month.
MARCH is what some people may consider doing if FEB doesn't turn out special.
APRIL will consist of many storms if people MARCH.
MAY is when there will be a parade.
JUNE is the first part of a well-known insect, not to be mistake for another insect having a wider wingspan--and colorful.
JULY could consist of fireworks, depending if there's a drought or not.

The World Trade Center does not have 11 letters.

The Twin Towers does not have 11 letters.

Osama Bin Laden does not have 11 letters.

There were not 911 victims.

Pennsylvania does not have 11 letters.

New York does not have 11 letters.

There were not 11 aircraft involved.

The first tower was not hit at 9:11.

There were not 911 windows which were shattered in the buildings.

Neither Tower 1 nor Tower 2 were 911 feet high.

It did not take 9 minutes and 11 seconds for the fire departments to respond.

This is the first time I've seen these facts. Would you be so kind as to relay your source, for I've hunted Google a total of 911 seconds, but no joy.

My username has 11 letters in it and I gave you 11 facts. You are one person questioning my 11 facts. Your first name of your username has 9 letters in it.

I am one person. You are another person. In total, that is 2 persons.

11 - 9 = 2.

What more could you possibly need?

Now that you've gone there... I have 4 sockpuppets and you have 5, making a total of 11 accounts, 9 of which are sockpuppets. Now don't fuck with me again, or one of my sockpuppets will create 910 sockpuppets and we'll be right back where we started.
you mean 911 sockpuppets? Tongue

With that, I declare sockpuppet war! Let me explain it to you really slow. The sockpuppet creating the 910 sockpuppets is the General. Therefore, 1 General Sockpuppet will command 910 subordinate sockpuppets. 1 + 910 = 911, the exact number that constitutes a sockpuppet battalion.

BTW, would you be so kind as to offer up a battlefield locale where this war could take place while we hash out the rules of engagement?

With no other known source of income, it looks like them bitcoins Tom has is going to go toward food to feed 6 hungry individuals, rent/mortgage, utilities, insurance, did I mention food?, car payment(s), groceries, clothing for growing children, and more food.

During the course of being funny, above, I just realized something. For him to cash out any significant coins, he may have to go through a known clearinghouse. Something to think about.
