I think Man City will have the title again this year now I've reevaluated  they are just such a great team with a good bench just in case their players get injured etc.

It's good to have trust in your favorite team but in my opinion it will be much harder this year for Manchester City to win title again.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are also very strong this year.
10982  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ebola the trigger for martial law? on: August 15, 2014, 10:38:36 AM
Ebola virus is not so easy to get it to trigger a martial law, its not like if some guy sits right to you in the train you will get it, as Bryant said, you need to be in contact with fluids, in Africa its a epidemic for the poor healthcare they have.

Yes, I agree with this.
Not just their poor health care but also their their superstition and distrust of doctors is problem there.
In Western world situation is different so I don't think that this epidemic can spread easily outside of Africa.
10983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EBay Payments Unit in Talks to Accept Bitcoin on: August 15, 2014, 08:43:38 AM
I did see a news interview some time ago where the CEO of eBay (or Paypal) did not categorically rule out Bitcoin transactions. I guess they will find it hard to come to terms with a currency that offers them little or nothing in terms of fees. Maybe this is the whole reason why they are still not accepting Bitcoin as a payment method. I have seen them ban people for transacting in Bitcoin and they told me off when i suggested that they should allow sale of virtual currencies on eBay India. They refused and told me that if i don't follow their rules about digital currencies, they could ban my account! Sad

If eBay and Paypal accept Bitcoin this will be really huge news and very good promotion for Bitcoin.
It will help Bitcoin to become mainstream very quickly.
But, I'm afraid that you are right, they have very good reasons why don't want to accept Bitcoin at the moment.
It's always about money Smiley
10984  Other / Politics & Society / Re: We do not have a gun culture problem, we have a culture problem. on: August 14, 2014, 08:19:08 PM
I agree with this title.
Compare USA with Canada, for example.
In Canada there is no ''gun culture'' like in USA.
Result: Less violence and crime than in USA.
In USA people are ''brainwashed'' that they must have guns in order to protect themselves.
In reality is other way around, more violence, more crime and very unsafe living for average people.
Guns are not the part of solution but part of the problem.
So, something must be changed in USA before situation become worst.
USA need culture of ''peace'' not violence.
10985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Hampshire candidate launches bitcoin fundraiser on: August 14, 2014, 08:14:08 PM
Tech entrepreneur and bitcoin enthusiast Andrew Hemingway is running for governor of New Hampshire and just launched a six-day bitcoin fundraising campaign.

http://www.breitbart.com/InstaBlog/2014/08/14/Is-Andrew-Hemingway-the-New-Face-of-a-GOP-with-a-Future

This is great news and great promotion for Bitcoin!
If more top politicians accept Bitcoin this will help a lot that average people hear about Bitcoin and become interested.
10986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi was murdered? New evidence coming in on: August 14, 2014, 07:54:39 PM

This really becoming more and more crazy.
I can't believe.
Probably soon somebody will start new thread that Satoshi is CIA agent, killer or both:)
10987  Other / Off-topic / Re: Imagine... on: August 14, 2014, 07:41:02 PM
Great comics and message, really like it.
If will be more dreamers like this, we may live in the better world.
Still, once we may achieve this dream Smiley
10988  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is dying...permanently on: August 14, 2014, 07:35:58 PM
I met with my other oracle today, Lady Shazam, and she told me as soon as I stepped into her hut, that bitcoin is dying.

I was stunned, but realized she is right. Bitcoin is dying.

*If anyone here is named Bitcoin, I apologize for the confusion, I'm talking about the bitcoin cryptocurrency/protocol, not any person* Thanks

Great info, thank you for this.
Now, I know what I should do, quickly sell all my Bitcoin and start my long planed trip around the world Smiley
Thank you for warning, really appreciate.
10989  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: August 14, 2014, 07:30:19 PM
I am so glad that Borussia Dortmund won against Bayern Munich. I didn't really watch the match because I was busy but I can't stand Guardiola's football style. It is so boring.

I agree.
He is trying to build ''new Barcelona'' in Bayern but his His tactic has already been read and outdated.
His time already passed and I think Bayern made mistake with him.

Every better team can stop that tactic. I agree that it is read and outdated. I am especially sad because Jupp Heynckes tactics were so attractive and joyful to watch. And then Bayern brought Guardiola Sad

It's very stupid to replace a coach who has won all possible trophies with Bayern, including the title of European champion.
I don't understand what they hoped to achieve with Guardiola?
10990  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ebola the trigger for martial law? on: August 14, 2014, 07:23:03 PM
I believe that if the rate on which this disease is spreading in a certain area exceeds a certain rate and not declining, I believe it is necessary to trigger martial law, Ebola right now is no joke

I don't know... the epidemic shows no sign of slowing down... and the affected countries have declared cordon sanitaire in many of the affected villages.

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/08/13/science/using-a-tactic-unseen-in-a-century-countries-cordon-off-ebola-racked-areas.html?_r=0

It send chills up my spine, just when I think what would have happened if I had been a resident in any of those villages.

If the infection spreads to the US, will they declare cordon sanitaire?

Reminds me of a Hollywood movie, which I saw recently (The Crazies?).

Yes, I agree with you.
This Ebola situation is every day more and more dangerous.
We are lucky that this problem is still limited only for Africa but question is for how long?
Still, from cordon sanitaire to the martial law is long way and surely medical help in developed, western world, is on much higher level and they can do much more to stop Ebola than doctors in Africa, with their very limited resources.

Yes, this what happened is tragedy, everybody agree with this.
But, I don't agree with this statement:
Anyone who thinks that race does not skew the application of criminal justice in this country is just not paying close enough attention. And the root of the problem is big government.
In my opinion, based on my experience while living in USA, root of this problem is in long history of slavery and oppression of blacks in America, not because of big government.
10993  Economy / Economics / Re: STOP SELLING NOW!! URGENT CALL TO BITSTAMPERS AROUND THE WORLD on: August 14, 2014, 06:41:44 PM
Sellers!

People i know that some of you are behind this wild selling. But I would like to point to you that we still have a lot of ways to go with bitcoin. And selling at this point would only make the road tardier. We have a goal, to jump 1,000 dollars and beyond. This is my dreams and yours, we have a dream people. If you sell now at these prices you would be giving up on that dream.

Surely this selling has got to stop, it's confusion. I know it's everyone on it's own, and that it's a free market full of competition, but let's unite for a common goal. This common goal which is of us all. No is a powerful word, say NO to selling at these prices, refuse. If we all unanimously refuse, if we all stand resolute at this hour of adversity we'll bring value back into bitcoin.

To buyers

You have to protest, protest against this market, set your buy orders high, high into the sky, up at 2,000 and above, refuse to buy any lower, show the market that bitcoin has more value than this and that you are ready to pay great sums, take one for the community. This attitude of cannibalizing on others fears and feeding on others angsts hinders bitcoin's growth.

Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

I think that you have to understand something here.
Your advices may be good for ''big'' players (who can play how they want) but for small people, with 1 BTC or less, who are selling it to pay their bills, your advice is not helpful.
Also, such small players can't really influence Bitcoin price much.
Regarding buyers, everybody want the highest value for their money, so everybody with clever mind will try to buy with the lower price possible and sell for highest price possible.
Excpect otherwise is little naive here.
We still don't live in the ideal world.
10994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi was murdered? New evidence coming in on: August 14, 2014, 06:23:42 PM
There is no evidence for such ''big'' statement.
For what we know, he may take some free time from his business, in order to enjoy life, rest, travel around the world Smiley
He may be also very busy with some other, ''great'' project.
Everything is more possible then your suggestion Smiley

10996  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What if bank closes account for trading btc? on: August 13, 2014, 07:13:18 PM
What if a bank closes your account for trading with Bitcoin? what will happen to your money and what will the cons of such thing happening (except for losing your bank account which could be seen as positive)

You don't need to exchange your Bitcoin directly to your bank account.
It's much better, in my opinion, use exchangers, so that your bank can't find out origin of your money.
10997  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: August 13, 2014, 07:08:33 PM
OK guys you really made your points very well.
Thank you.
Still, I tend to agree with this blog author that either there is not much proofs for Darwin's theory as well.
It seems that Darwin's theory is the most logic but still the are some ''holes'' and unproven facts in this theory, isn't it?
10998  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another airplane crash: Presidential candidate killed, 10 injured on: August 13, 2014, 07:04:48 PM
This is really crazy.
Airplanes crashes and falling this days as a apples, almost every week.
What is going on with the airplane transport today?
Why so many accidents in so short time?
10999  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mission Creep: Obama Admin Floats ‘Boots on the Ground’ in Iraq on: August 13, 2014, 05:13:21 PM
"Advisors" on the ground means we are all ready there and very much involved. Vietnam started with "advisors" as well.

Yes, this is true but President Obamy already proved that he does not like solutions that seek to send American troops on the ground.
The decision to complete the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq a few years ago it proved this fact.

That same very fact that proves he was wrong to do so. So much so he is right now denying he ever was behind the idea... Situations evolve. If his heart is in it to save all those poor souls why shouldn't he?

http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/385069/obama-not-my-decision-pull-troops-out-iraq-joel-gehrke

President Obama refused to take responsibility for the lack of U.S. troops in Iraq, saying that American soldiers had to pull out due to political pressure from Iraqi leaders.

“This issue keeps on coming up as if this was my decision,” Obama retorted when asked if he had any second thoughts, in light of the terrorist force taking over regions of Iraq, about having pulled all American troops out of the country. “The reason that we did not have a follow-on force in Iraq was because a majority of Iraqis did not want U.S. troops there and politically they could not pass the kind of laws that would be required to protect our troops in Iraq,” he said.

I agree with you.
President Obama should try everything possible to save this people.
Just, I feel that he is calculating a lot and don't want to be to much involved in this conflict, what is morally wrong but moral and politic never go together, as we all know.
