1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Super-Expensive Bitcoin Cash Wristwatch on: November 16, 2020, 08:05:29 AM
I just saw the news about the Bitcoin Cash  wristwatch. It's made by a luxury watch maker called Frank Muller. The watch is made of titanium and it's called "Free the Money, Free the World". Each of the wristwatch comes as two piece "Deep Cold Storage" set, with its unique public address etched onto the dial and a sealed USB that contains the private key. You can add your bitcoins to your wallet or check your balance directly using the dial. But then, the only problem I see with this unique wristwatch is that it's super expensive. Remember it was created by a "luxury" watch maker. The price is 9,900 Euro and the 'total supply' is only 500.😅

IMO, if you have the money to buy it at that price in euro will it is not a problem, especially if you are a Bitcoin cash fan, I believe that was good for you because its an item that has a connection with your passion so its fulfilling to have that one as a collector's item. so 9,900 euros is not that expensive if you have the capacity to buy it.
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we getting better over the years on: November 16, 2020, 07:43:28 AM
Are we getting better now after 10 years, after ten years there are still hacking going on, there are still many scam projects and the market is still volatile but on the lighter side the adoption is progressive, the market always recovers from any situation, and there are good project coming in.

The crypto industry is still young thats why it needs more time to develop, But because I believe in the crypto industry in a more positive way, after 10 years I think the crypto industry will be more improved in terms of security and regulation guidelines thats why in that time the hacking incidents will be minimized and fraudulent projects will be no more because the industry is already regulated thats why it's safer to invest at that time.
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really a threat to centralized finance? on: November 15, 2020, 08:23:15 AM
The you think defi a a threat to the future of centralized finance? What's your opinion?

IMHO, In the present status of the DeFi projects, I believe it's not a treat. because today's Defi is just more on hype and no solid foundation to anchor it, Because there's a lot of issues to settle first like those fraudulent activities of those so-called DeFi projects that rampantly victimized investors it's a shame on their side and now claiming DeFi is a treat to centralized Finance no way I dont believe that crap.
1104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL ₿itcoin for Life, not for Lifetime. on: November 15, 2020, 08:00:40 AM
I believe you pointed it out mate, HODL (Hold On for Dear Life) "but not for a lifetime" that was a clear message, and if you already gain some decent profit from your HODL time maybe its time to make some money to fulfill your dreams, like buying a house or establish a business that we want things like that should be considered. because we are part of the industry that everything is changing so fast thats why we cant sure how it will end. Just like you I've been stuck with some Shitcoins that give me a headache in 2018, thats why I considered things now based on reality and not on speculation and greed.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Great news for XRP coin holders? on: November 14, 2020, 11:02:34 AM
Yes my dear friends flare network will Airdrop spark token to all XRP holder. The snapshot date is 12 December in 2020.
In its latest update, Flare Finance announced that it will be launching six DeFi products as an all-in-one solution for investing. Thus, it will bring the higher utility of FLR tokens and XRP to the DeFi markets.

XRP holder follow the step for eligible airdrop: https://flare.wietse.com/

The supporting exchange for aridrop: https://flare.xyz/supporting-exchanges/

I think that's a piece of good news for XRP holders if the Spark token price will be good after it was traded so I think it was a great opportunity to earn because it is free money, so who will be against free money? I think everyone loves free money so it's good news to all XRP holders out there, December 12th is the snapshot day so I will mark my calendar for that event that's for sure. I have some XRP in my Binance wallet but not that much to earn big for that airdrop so let us wait for that day hoping it will be going smooth.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: attention about BCH fork on: November 14, 2020, 10:30:14 AM
I think you are trying to warn us, But how can it be possible? if the exchange is already announced that they were airdrop the minority coins that were created in the said hard fork to all BCH holders on a 1:1 basis, If the exchange is not said that announcement maybe they are also after those forked coins, But I believe Binance is an honest exchange if there is any hard fork that will occur and if they announce that they were supporting it I'm sure it will be credited in your account no doubt. I've been done that before since the BTC up to the BCH forking event. everyone should be informed that after the fork there will be two new coins not three but two! and the old coin will be gone, like in the upcoming BCH forked? there will be a BCHNode and BCHabc according to some information, BCHnode will be the majority coin and BCHabc will the minority.

So if you have 1BCH today it will be gone because of the chain split.
And it will replace with 1 BCHnode and 1 BCHabc will if the price of that minority coin will be good I think it's free money so it's good.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden team members or not make any difference? on: November 13, 2020, 08:06:32 AM
There are various kind of old crypto projects that has no team but still they are among the best projects today, I believe this happened because many old projects followed the footstep of Bitcoin, bitcoin would have been in tougher situations if the team or ceo is public I believe but today it's a complete different story or should I say experience? Since the birth of ICO we've seen tons of scam projects that aren't scared of revealing their faces even when they knew they are going to exit scam on investors fund, so for me hidden team members or not still doesn't make a difference..

Dont compare it with Bitcoin because during Bitcoin was created there was no ICO and fundraising event.
Thats why it matters now because any projects that need to raise funds via public offerings must be transparent and this will include their "true Identity because they are intended to raise some funds from the public, if the project is not initiating any public offering like ICO IEO, etc, or not intended to raise funds from the public, will thats okay if they remained anonymous. Defi is the perfect example because most of the Defi project team is hiding in the dark thats why they easily have gone with the funds they raise.
1108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USA government power over Bitcoin on: November 13, 2020, 07:31:08 AM
I think the US government has no intention to control bitcoin and it is not possible to control bitcoin because it was a decentralized network. thats why it cannot be controlled by any governments, But they have the power to block Bitcoin trading on any exchange that was operating in the US territory if they want to.
But I believe they won't do that because the U.S government only wants to protect their " Interest including the American crypto users and investors". that's why the U.S SEC wants to have tougher regulations on all Crypto platforms that were operated and doing business in their territory to protect its "Interest including its Citizens" and I think they have the right to do that as a sovereign nation.
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bch fork on: November 12, 2020, 09:51:38 AM

Thanks, for the informative articles Mate, By the way, the Bitcoin Cash community will be divided again and this time it's all about money, and base on the article it seems that the split between the two opposing interest will continue, but the question is how the fork will affect the Bitcoin Cash price in the short term? how about the community? the holders of BCH, how they will react in the split? it is getting more interesting as the forking day is coming.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: *"LEAKED" Email on KuCoin CEO Johnny Lyu to Their Staff on: November 12, 2020, 09:22:51 AM
This was a post of an anonymous user on the r/kucoin subreddit with an image of an allegedly email from Johnny Lyu of kucoin exchange thanking his employees with a bit of details regarding the recent hacking incident.

https://www.reddit.com/r/kucoin/comments/js4egw/leaked_email_from_kucoin_ceo//

I feel sorry for what happens in Kucoin, because it is one of my favorite crypto exchange way back in 2017, But due to the hacking incident I'm sure many users are now doubting the exchange capability to secure its users against any hacking attacks, Kucoin should upgrade its platform security to prevent any further incidents to happen again. I hope Kucoin will be back to its former status as one of the most trusted crypto exchanges.
1111  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's discuss: How big will the next correction be? And when will it occur? on: November 11, 2020, 12:36:29 PM
Hi guys,

given the immense growth the last few weeks, I was wondering what the community thinks about the next correction. How big will it be in your opinion. And when will it occur you think?

All opinions are very welcome!

IMHO, I think the market correction is already in effect because in the last seven days the BTC price was dip as much at $14,102.09 on Nov. 8, 2020, from $15,903.44 on Nov. 6, 2020, if we look at that price difference that was almost - $1801 in just two days, thats why I believe that it was a small market correction but I'm not sure about it I'm not an expert analyst, in short, it was just part of my opinion.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ether Wallet Scam on: November 11, 2020, 12:08:18 PM
It's a very unfortunate incident, but why did you save your private key in your mail? base on what you said that was the case, but I dont think your email is just easy to penetrate if you have done securing it correctly.
Dont just use the same email at a time it is better to create an email according to its purpose and make it more secure by adding a strong password, enables the 2fa, in mobile, or an authenticator app, to make sure it was secure unless the email provider was already compromised, I believe you become a victim of phishing it is usually caused by just a link that looks like legitimate so be careful always exercise precautions before opening any link to avoid that happening again.
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects can still deliver on: November 11, 2020, 11:42:56 AM
I think that's because those projects like Polkadot, Uniswap, Aave, Synthetix are lucky enough to experience the unprecedented "Defi hype wave" that sweeps through the entire Defi market, because if not? those projects that have a Defi banner will not grow that much. thanks to the Defi hype those platforms were able to reach their respective CMC rank now. but I feel sorry to those investors that have been a casualty of the recent Defi hype. I hope that they were just fine.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUY 32 ETH on: November 10, 2020, 12:52:01 PM
I think CZ is just promoting Ethereum 2.0 to prepare its users for the upcoming changes which are highlighted in its 32 Eth staking requirements. But IMHO, the required 32 Eth for staking is quite high with the current price of $448 per Ether it was roughly $14336, I believe that was high enough for the ordinary investors and users to afford so it means only those people that have a 32 Ether can participate the staking. plus the technicalities and knowledge that were required thats why it's better to step aside for that purpose.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tezos going to be next Ethereum? on: November 10, 2020, 12:29:01 PM
I believe that TEZOS is a potential coin, thats why I have some of it, but to be called the Next Ethereum, I think it is not needed TEZOS should be known as it is so that TEZOS can build its name as a unique and useful smart-contract platform too. IMO, each project that has unique characteristics and functions should be proud of what it is.

Ethereum also possesses those characteristics thats why it is one of the widely used smart-contract service providers if Ethereum did it. and then there is no reason why TEZOS cannot do it.
Those rumors can be considered a bonus if that rumors will be true, I'm sure TEZOS investors and holders will reap the benefit of that particular development so let's wait and see until that happens.

1116  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 09, 2020, 12:54:53 PM
Well, thats good news, not just in the market, But in the entirety, I hope that the Covid19 vaccine from "Pfizer and BioNTech" will be made available to everyone a soon as possible so that many nations can avail and buy it because the Covid19 pandemic has been inducing more damages as it prolonged not just in the economic aspect but also to the human lives as well.
1117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the new US administration be friendly to bitcoin? on: November 09, 2020, 12:39:16 PM
The election is over, Trump had negative attitude towards bitcoin but what Biden's administration will bring to crypto. The fact that the Fed will continue printing $$ and new stimulus is coming is definitely good for bitcoin.
Never heard that president-elect Biden or someone from his camp made any public statement about bitcoin or crypto-technology, hopefully no tough regulations will be made.

I think it's too early to speculate about it, for now, let us wait until President-elect Joe Biden assumes office, for now, let us enjoy the Bitcoin bullish market trend, and when the right time will come and Biden will say about his stance on cryptocurrency whether its pro or against, I believe it wouldn't create much impact to the market, The real problem will be the SEC for sure the crackdown and tougher regulation will continue even in the new administration.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger owners lose 1.1 million XRP!! on: November 08, 2020, 09:12:27 AM
That was a very unfortunate incident thats why we should double-check any link first before we are going to accept it. so that we can minimize the risk of being victimized by phishing attacks. But why the Ledger wallet? I thought it was safe to use, By the way, in my opinion, It's not the Ledger wallet fault. because according to the article, It was a very organized phishing link that when the first time you look at it, you won't suspect because it looks the same as the Ledger site. dont know what exactly happen so I cant conclude any at the moment, All I can say is be vigilant as always because fraudster and thieves are always lurking around and waiting for the right time to attack.
1119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New defi project fake volume in uniswap? on: November 08, 2020, 08:35:24 AM
Thats not surprising at all, because in the crypto industry many have done that kind of manipulation just to appear like it has a huge trading volume.
But the truth is they are the same people who are doing buy and sell and it was probably happening in DEX.

But in the centralized exchange, commonly, they have a trading bot that has done the magic trick, in the spread between the live buy and sell, orders But in a Decentralized exchange like UNISWAP, they dont have a bot so its a human intervention to create a fake buy and sell orders just to make it look like have an attractive trading volume.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it over for Binance IEO? on: November 07, 2020, 11:38:56 AM
Binance has been a leading force with respect to initial exchange offering (IEO) evidenced by its extraordinary success in raising funds for crypto startupa via its Launchpad. The likes of Gifto, Bread, BitTorent, Fetch.Ai, Celer Network, Elrond, Perlin, Kava, Injective Protocol have successfully met their funding goals via Binance IEO.

My concern, however, is in the performance of its recent IEOs such as thoseof Injective Protocol(INJ) and Axie Infinity (AXS). In the past, investors are often certain of getting almost ×10 of their capital once the token is launched after IEO but these two tokens hardly did ×2 of their IEO price. Does it mean that the Binance Effect is already waning or has weakened?

AXS was sold at $0.1 at IEO price but only breezed to $0.29 briefly while INJ sold at $0.4 managed to hit $1.49 as its brief ATH. These results are unlike Binance's past IEOs which made investors jostle to get in to the launchpad.

Do you think that it the end of Binance IEO has come or the exchange would rediscover its earlier form?

Let me know your opinion.

I've also seen that happen, But I think the reason is the recent "Defi hype" that quite steals the focus on the IEO spotlight, Because base on my observation, not just Binance has experienced it but also in some other top tier crypto exchanges.

And now that the Defi crazed was already fading let us compare the next IEO results in Binance or in other Top exchange that also doing an IEO services.
