Arsenal spent heavily this transfer window, if I am not mistaken they spent more money than any other team this transfer window whether in EPL or even elsewhere?
€226.6m given to bring Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber.
Gunners are now the team with the most market value among teams in EPL! If it shows something then it is how serious the stuff and Arteta are to bring a title or two for the team next season. Manchester City and Guardiola should be worried about its titles.
There is nothing to worry about even if Arsenal have spent so much money building up their squad. A winning mentality cannot be built with money, it is something different so I don't think Manchester City should be worried about the title. Arsenal will certainly be expected to get better after bringing in several quality players such as Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber, but all of them can never guarantee a title.

Manchester City is the team that has dominated the Premier League the most in recent seasons, so I think it will be difficult for Arsenal to stop that domination as long as Manchester City has a quality squad and coach. I'd say City are the favourites, but I was expecting something different from Manchester United.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 14, 2023, 07:51:38 PM
There are still many possibilities, but I agree if PSG have to lower transfer fee that man because the price now is not very possible for Real Madrid to sign him. Although Real Madrid has a lot of money, but the previous Bellingham transfer fee may have burden their finances. Actually, if another club brave to recruit Mbappe at current prices then PSG will be ready to let him go, if that happens Real Madrid will wait again to sign that man.
After all, Real Madrid wouldn't make a hasty decision if the transfer fee wasn't so reasonable for them for a player. And while waiting for the transfer fee to be lowered for Mbappe, Real Madrid can also monitor other players to get them if they really can't get Mbappe in the current transfer market. And which teams are starting to be interested in Mbappe apart from Real Madrid? Because a good player like Mbappe will usually be in greater demand by many teams if the price is not too high.
I don't think Real Madrid will get Mbappe under 150 million euros, but PSG will probably expect more. There are a lot of teams interested in Mbappe, but I really believe that in the end Real Madrid will manage to sign him. Regardless of the transfer fee, I just really believe Kylian Mbappe is a player who can really improve the quality of Real Madrid next season. We can expect to win the title next season with his presence, but somehow all the decisions will likely rest with Florentino Pérez.

I read some reports that Florentino Pérez would not buy more players in this transfer, so he said Real Madrid had finished buying players. Meanwhile, Real Madrid don't have a quality striker yet, so I hope he's not joking too much.
1103  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - how low will we go in 2023? on: July 14, 2023, 07:30:49 PM
The values in these comparisons give an idea only. I do not act according to these values, because today's events and past years' events may not be the same. As we can see in the table, it does not give us very solid ideas. It may give a good idea for a cycle of only 4 years.

However, by looking at such tables, we can actually see what phases bitcoin has gone through. We can see the volatility of the price and the price can go down one month and go up another month. This chart can give an idea that the market is not stable and that the price is always in motion for the investor.
I will not use data from the table in the picture as a benchmark when I invest. Of course, because I always think that the price of bitcoin will never move the same every month. During the accumulation phase, DCA has helped me earn more bitcoin at a lower price, definitely a good accumulation strategy. There is no certainty at assets that fluctuate all the time, but if you are planning a long term investment then it is best to collect as much as you can.

Past events don't have to be the same in the future, so there are always risks to consider. But right now I think the best advice is to buy with DCA and hold it long term. I think each of us will get commensurate returns after the 2024 halving.
1104  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I start my journey on bitcoin talk forum i.e. in crypto world. on: July 14, 2023, 07:21:15 PM
Some persons are only here to earn and the funny thing is that they will not even calm down to learn the necessary things they ought to do and pass through the newbie stage. If op interest is to learn and know more about Bitcoin and the Blockchain, then he would have to keep reading and asking questions about the cryptocurrency market. If the aim is to utilize the forum to earn then he still need to calm down and learn how things work. There are many ways we can earn from Bitcoin or altcoins which includes mining, staking, trading, airdrops, bounty hunting etc.
Knowledge of crypto both technically and in general is unlimited. The OP could ask questions based on what he's interested in, but I wouldn't expect him to focus too much on his plans to make money. Forum and their users can help beginners gain proper knowledge of what they are interested in, but if they don't tell us then surely they will have a hard time getting good guidance.

The main thing for beginners to do is study, it's up to them what their interests are, but the important thing is that they have the good intention of equipping themselves with knowledge instead of money.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 14, 2023, 06:42:02 PM
Last season, Newcastle performed very consistently so they were able to finish in the top four of the EPL league and enter the Champions League. This is an extraordinary achievement for Newcastle who have been a small team for a long time. For next season, in the domestic league, Newcastle can compete at the top, of course, they also want to fight for the EPL League championship or they will have ambitions to get a trophy in the FA Cup or Carabao Cup. But if the Champions League is as you say, they have been absent from the Champions League for too long, maybe getting past this group phase will be a great achievement for them.

But whatever it is, next season will be Eddie Howe's stage to prove a native English coach can win the league championship trophy after seniors like Sam Allardyce, Alan Pardew, Steve McClaren, Terry Venables, Bobby, and Bryan Robson and Kevin Keegsn were unable. do it.
I agree that Newcastle's success in qualifying for the Champions League is a huge success for the coach and his players. Newcastle were an average team a few seasons ago, but they have experienced an extraordinary metamorphosis since Mohammed Salman acquired the team.

Eddie Howe has been an important figure in Newcastle's success in breaking into the Champions League, but he has a very big stage to prove the capacity of the team and himself. The Champions League is completely different from the domestic league, so Eddie Howe will definitely feel a lot of pressure from the atmosphere of the match.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 14, 2023, 06:22:19 PM

Can he make all of these happen? It isn't impossible but it is a really tough task to perform for sure. Because there is still a need of even better performance than this. They had better use this transfer window efficiently as well. Signing a centre-forward must be a priority for them now.

yes United haven't got a centre-forward yet but even though it's like that I think Ten Hag has been able to show growth this season. but if Ten Hag gets a striker who can be a target up front to score a lot of goals for United. I'm sure the competition in the Premier League this season will be very exciting.
if Ten Hag can get a striker of Kane's class, maybe it will be very good for the team. but it looks like Kane will be closer to Munich. although Ttottenham don't want to lose Kane this season either.
Last season Ten Hag quite often played Marcus Rashford as a center forward when needed there. Marcus Rashford is also often played as a left winger, but when played as a center forward he can also play well. Maybe Ten Hag can force Marcus Rashford to play more as a centre-forward than on the left wing, but I don't think Manchester United need to do that if they manage to sign a great striker.

Manchester United actually have Anthony Martial as a centre-forward, but he's not very good about his form. If Kane joins Manchester United, then of course Manchester United's strength is really very dangerous next season. The problem is, Kane appears to be fiercely loyal to Tottenham.
1107  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell...next bull run? on: July 14, 2023, 05:58:54 PM
Selling your investment assets when your target has been reached is part of the investment plan. Of course I plan for that too, but only if I actually get the return on the target I've set. I can expect high returns for bitcoin, especially since I believe the price could be higher than the previous ATH.

I don't want to seem greedy about targets, but I can only be sure of one thing that halvings can bring holders huge returns in 18 - 24 months after halving. It's a possibility, but it's also a habit that has happened every halving.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 13, 2023, 05:23:38 PM
As far as I know PSG have decided to play heavy and will probably sign Victor Osimen
next year he will have a very performing team, who knows what to do in the Champions League, by the way did he qualify for the Champions League?
I do not remember
That depends on what's gonna be final decision for mbappe. PSG is still trying to negotiate with mbappe regarding his future in the club. Instead of osimhen, PSG is now trying to approach vlahovic from juventus. Vlahovic much more cheaper compared with mbappe at this moment. I don't even think PSG will spend another €180 millions again to get osimhen from napoli. It sounds too good to be true. It's caused by PSG will not repeat the same mistake again.
The club is trying to use its budget efficiently. The decision regarding who's gonna be the new striker for PSG is not yet coming from enrique. Osimhen was a part of napoli and he will play UCL soon.
Napoli won scudetto.
Instead of signing Osimhen for almost 200 million euros, I would prefer PSG to sign players who are cheaper but of equal quality. Osimhen is an important player for Napoli and his current price does not really guarantee his quality, it is a shield for Napoli to keep Osimhen.

I'm also not sure that PSG managed to persuade Mbappe to sign a new contract, but they will still try to convince Mbappe to stay. PSG will spend a lot of money for Mbappe to stay instead of spending a lot of money to find a replacement, that is clearly an option PSG is currently thinking about.
1109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $120k next year - by Robert Kiyosaki on: July 13, 2023, 04:50:27 PM
Without Robert Kiyosaki's prediction, I personally also believe that bitcoin will have a price higher than $100k after the 2024 halving. We are waiting for that moment and there is definitely hope of getting ATH over $120k, but of course we have to be patient with time and volatility .

An increase in price towards $120k won't be as smooth as a toll road, that it's too smooth for a volatile asset like bitcoin. In fact we can expect some correction to test the new support, while resistance will be tested with increasing demand. I would expect $120k to be reached in less than a year after the halving, but the market needs a lot of money to get there.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 13, 2023, 03:18:13 PM
I am not underestimating Arsenal but Arsenal won't do very well in Champions League but this team will definitely do well in Premier League. Last season we saw Arsenal came very close to winning Premier League but in the end most of the players were injured so they won the Premier League title. As you said Arsenal can't do well in the Champions League but will be a stumbling block for the favourites. In the important matches of the favorite teams, Arsenal will be seen as their obstacle. It is very interesting to see if the new teams do well in the Champions League, we hope that Arsenal will do well in the Champions League.
Arsenal are a different team with Arteta, especially in the last two seasons. Arteta has made Arsenal a very competitive team even though they have a relatively younger squad, but of course their winning mentality hasn't really taken shape. Arsenal can compete with any team in the Champions League, but I'm sure they won't win the title next season.

I also believe that Arsenal will have a good form in the Premier League next season, but again I have not been able to convince myself about Arsenal's possibility of winning the title. So I don't underestimate Arsenal either, but they won't win the title if this team doesn't have a good winning mentality next season.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 13, 2023, 06:27:17 AM
He could have been transferred to better teams in the Premier League, but he has a ties to Tottenham and if he transfers he will probably be out of the Premier League. One of the biggest interested teams right now is Bayern Munich. If they can convince Kane, I'm curious about his UCL performance.
There's no need to be curious like that, because maybe his performance will still be the same as in the Premier League if he (Kane) manages to move to Bayern Munich next season. However, until now the clarity regarding his move to Bayern Munich is still uncertain because there may not yet be a meeting point for an agreement between the two teams (Tottenham and Bayern Munich). So we'll just have to wait and see how the rumors regarding Kane continue this summer.
Kane is good to play at Bayern Munich or at several other Premier League teams including Manchester United. If Bayern Munich really manages to sign Kane, then the quality of their front line will be even better next season. Despite all that, it seems that Kane will not take any definite steps to move to Bayern Munich considering that Tottenham will not let him leave for under 100 million euros. Bayern Munich are not going to buy if the price is that high, so not much development can be expected from the transfer.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 13, 2023, 05:50:37 AM
Barcelona have completed Vitor Roque signing finally for a 40 million euros transfer fee. He is only an 18-year-old centre-forward right now. He must be seen as a wonderkid that Barcelona allocated the money they can spend this summer for him mostly. However this transfer won't happen now. The deal is going to be completed officially and he will join the team by July 2024.

It is similar to what Real Madrid did for Endrick from Palmeiras. Not exactly the same though because Real Madrid have no choice other than waiting for him due to age issue in his country. These are all investments into their futures and I wonder which one of these players will develop more.
The two young players you mentioned have the possibility to become important figures for their respective teams, but they really have to work hard to break into the main squad. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are likely to field both players next season especially after both are registered with La Liga, that could be in 2024.

I don't know how good the two Brazilian strikers are, but they seem to be the future strikers of their respective teams. Together with Endrick, Real Madrid will have 3 Brazilian strikers next season. I hope that the duet of the three Brazilian players can really bring Real Madrid a lot of success, but something different can also be expected.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 13, 2023, 05:38:21 AM
It is extremely premature to draw the conclusion that Chelsea are going to start win games; we're yet the opportunity to witness them perform on the pitch, like Manchester United did yesterday. The players are eager to make their club debuts; nevertheless, we should take an additional look at the roster; I don't believe they are currently ready to play games. Mauricio Pochettino has quite a bit of work to complete at Stamford Bridge. He has the ability to either boost or degrade the club's performance, depending on the strategy that he implements.
They are a big team and it is normal to expect them to win games under their new coach. I don't think it's too difficult for them to win the game, but maybe they will struggle if the opponents are Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal.

After all, Mauricio Pochettino was brought in to boost the team's performance, not to make them even the worst team. Mauricio Pochettino has the ability to make Chelsea better, but it is difficult to expect him to win titles for Chelsea next season. Chelsea have to grow and Pochettino has to adjust a lot of things at Chelsea, but if he is backed by the finances and management trust, then Mauricio Pochettino will have a good team to compete with.
1114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - The road to a SIX DIGIT price valuation on: July 12, 2023, 02:41:19 PM
I admit that I might be wrong, but with just 21,000,000 Bitcoins in existence partnered with an increasing money supply, it's hard not to see SIX DIGITS.
It was the main point that allowed the price of bitcoin to increase many times what it was before. ATH higher than $200k can be expected, but in the end it really depends on how the money flows into the market. If large investors start to find safe ways to buy bitcoins then obviously the high demand for the coin will increase its value automatically. We are on the road to reach a new ATH, but we don't know when that will happen and how high the realization will be.

I'm optimistic about the price of bitcoin in the long term, but it probably won't be that easy to reach $500k. It would take a lot of support and large amounts of money to drive bitcoin's price higher than $200k, but the most realistic thing right now is to set up a stronger portfolio to expect future returns.
1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My story about bitcoin and my old friend. on: July 12, 2023, 01:18:57 PM
OP, it's hard to convince someone of bitcoin if they've never been directly involved in it. Many people underestimate bitcoin and its potential in the long term because they never wanted to go deep into it or want to learn about it, but most of them will regret it after other people get good returns.

Do you have the same story, I mean a close person, relative or friend who used to dislike bitcoin, and they became regretful after seeing a significant change after meeting again.
There are many other people who disdain bitcoin besides your friend, but nowadays their mindset about bitcoin has changed. Even investors in gold and other physical assets have diversified their assets with bitcoins instead of just physical assets, that is because bitcoins can allow them to earn better returns than the potential of their physical assets in the long term.

I don't have the same story, but it had too much going on in the early days of bitcoin. They certainly regretted it, but it would never be of any use if they didn't start studying it and investing in it.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich on: July 09, 2023, 09:07:48 PM
I think there has no short cut way to rich. If anyone think i will invest on crypto currency and i will be rich within short time, i think that will be your wrong thinking.
It's possible to get rich in a short amount of time on crypto investments, but not everyone will be that lucky. So the mindset of getting rich overnight for crypto investing is not a realistic target for any investor, but they need to be patient enough to wait for the return on their investment to really be as expected.

In crypto, you can still expect to get 3x - 4x returns on your investment in 1 - 2 years, but of course you definitely have to know exactly when to get in and when to get out. Bitcoin allows you to earn that kind of return and if you compare it to the potential return of other physical investment assets then I believe those large returns are relatively more likely with bitcoin over a shorter time frame.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 09, 2023, 08:53:24 PM
How can you be sure Real Madrid are not obsessed with signing Haaland or Mbappe after securing the services of Jude Bellingham. Real Madrid are focusing on finding a quality striker after Benzema's departure, these two players are considered to be the perfect replacement to occupy the position left by Benzema. The arrival of Jude Bellingham can add strength to Real Madrid in midfield, not on the front lines. Even though they have brought in Joselu but are not satisfied with the new recruits, they are still hunting for quality strikers in order to add strength in the area of attack.
I'm sure Real Madrid are very eager to sign one of them, but in terms of business strategy sometimes it's not so good to force that desire. Haaland and Mbappe are two good strikers, the value is high and they deserve the value, but of course Real Madrid have to think about other things like FFP that might threaten them in the future.

Real Madrid have the financial ability to sign some expensive players like Mbapee and Bellingham in one season, but maybe they are planning something else instead of forcing a lot of problem transfers in one season.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 09, 2023, 08:48:49 PM
De Gea's contract with Manchester United was not renewed because, in today's game, a modern goalkeeper must be capable of confidently holding up the ball without fear. That is the justification Hag provided for the events that resulted in De Gea not being renewed again as Manchester United's goalkeeper.
Onana, on the other hand, is the precise type of modern goalkeeper Ten Hag is looking for, one who can confidently and fearlessly hold up the ball. Let's see how effective he will remain in the premier league in the long run. Given that he already blends in with Ten Hag's modern goalkeeping style.
It's not clear why Ten Hag didn't want to keep De Gea, but it certainly was a really tough decision for both parties. Ten Hag can't guarantee that Onana will perform better for Manchester United next season, but it's a wish that might not go completely wrong.

I'm happy with the upgrade and regeneration plans that are important in building a better team, but I don't really expect a legend like De Gea to walk away without giving him an extra season. Manchester United's performance could improve with Onana, but maybe it could go down for other reasons. I hope Onana is fine and is the person Ten Hag really needs next season, but he might need a good adaptation in his first season.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: July 09, 2023, 08:39:35 PM
Successful gamblers are those who are basically gamblers who deserve to be called gambling addicts. They are good at strategizing and able to increase their chances of winning with their skills, so I think they are gambling addicts. It is too difficult to find successful gamblers without addiction, but all successful gamblers are those who can be called gambling addicts.

But I don't know what the significance of this question is, even if they are addicted gamblers. Success at gambling is measured by how likely you are to win more than you lose, but success is sometimes also classified as your ability to control yourself and your desire for gambling.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on live game or while game hasn't started yet? on: July 08, 2023, 09:05:05 PM
Sometimes I do prefer to bet on live matches because I could get better odds payout rate when a favorite team falls behind 1 goal against their opponent in a soccer match, even though the favorite team might need to score more goals in order to win the match but the live betting odds payout rate will become higher than the initial odds payout rate before the match starts.
That scenario favors the gambler, but I don't think it will impact the odds in a significant way. I also tend to agree that betting during a game can be a good option to get better odds and be profitable, but sportsbooks sometimes don't always adjust the odds in their favour.

I prefer to bet on the favorite team regardless if the odds are very favorable or maybe it's only worth calling it an entertainment bet. Yes of course it is because the odds are not that great for such a high value bet, although I would consider it a low risk bet.
