241  Economy / Speculation / Re: Something is seriously wrong with bitcoin markets. No liquidity? Should we sell? on: February 28, 2024, 07:20:13 PM
-snip-
On the basis that you bought 2 Bitcoins that year to hope for a profit on the return of the price, then choosing to hold for a while would not be wrong if desired.
If the price has increased far from the purchase price, then other things, such as mistakes, whatever they are called, people don't care about them.

Holding Bitcoin up to this point makes perfect sense bro. $60k and on its way to $69k. What percentage of profit has been obtained from the purchase price at that time.
Sell at the highest price then accumulate when the price correction occurs, that's fine instead of just holding.
Such an approach is basically very profitable, especially as we have never seen prices rise high without being followed by a correction. The lesson is, there are many roads to Rome which means you can gain more profits if you are able to understand the volatile markets.

If OP sells 2 bitcoins at $64k today and he places a buy order at $59k, then he will have 2,169 btc in his account. But this approach is not necessarily everyone's cup of tea, especially if they are comfortable with just holding. The main factor for success with this approach is their analysis and ability to understand the market.

Gambling is not a problem. The problem is the gambler. When the gambling being played feels strange, that's when the gambler starts to experience problems. Steps that must be taken, leave the game and return when the situation has returned to normal if the aim of gambling is for fun.

It must be admitted, it is rare for gamblers to feel that they are starting to feel strange when they are busy gambling.
Casinos are not simply created to be a place for people to have fun. This is a growing business and the industry has seen a lot of cash flow every year. Casino owners know people don't just come to have fun, most of them are people hoping to get lucky and multiply their money, but the two I mentioned are the wrong mindset about gambling.

Just be a responsible gambler if you want to avoid the effects of gambling. This means that you will always believe that losing and winning are part of the game that you find fun. But when gambling becomes a place to make money, it is difficult for them to become responsible gamblers.

It is a pretty long time ago that Napoli was able to play such a dominant game like this. I guess this is the first game that is legit a reminder of how they played last season. Their whole game is so determined that one must be shaking the head why they are in the middle of the standings these days. But I have seen quite often that they have the chances to win their games dominantly and yet they can't score the goals. Maybe this was the game that was missing to finally bring back their self-esteem. If they can maintain this form then it might be the perfect preparation for the second leg in the Champions League against Barcelona.
I didn't really expect Napoli to score 6 goals in this match and Osimhen scored a hattrick. Of course, this was a good day for Napoli even though they were 1-0 behind from Uroš Račić's goal and they came back with 6 goals in return. However, I'm not sure they can do the same in the next match against Juventus and I really doubt the quality of this team.

The next two matches are certainly important for Napoli before they play the second leg of the Champions League. If Napoli can maintain their good form against Juventus and Torino, then the second leg of the Champions League could be very interesting.

Inconsistent performance until matchday 25 make Napoli can't hope this season, especially being able to be in the top four at the end of the season. Sacked two manager before in short term I think main problem why Napoli's player get difficult for adapting well wit new manager. Can't expected more as the winner of Serie A last season with consistent performance and easily become the winner have many points gap but for this season Napoli had dropped performance drastically. I think main problem with Napoli first time after sacking Luciano Spalletti have success won Serie A and made Napoli qualified until quarter final of Champion League last season.

Napoli's management have looking for with new coach and give them permanent contract for long term, have support for giving much money sign players in their scheme if won't Napoli drop position and outside from champion league spot.
Napoli don't have high hopes this season in Serie A because I think their fight for the title is over. I don't even think Napoli can win a ticket to the Champions League next season because their performance is so inconsistent. Napoli had hopes in the Champions League of qualifying for the quarter-finals if they beat Barcelona, but it was a very difficult match.

There is still a chance to qualify for the Champions League if Napoli can improve their performance and maintain consistent performance. The problem is, they are so inconsistent that there is always doubt that they can drop points even in the match against Sassuolo. The change in several coaches proves that Napoli are not good this season, they are still having a very hard time winning matches.

Bitcoin is quite unique and still has so much potential in it. I stand to be corrected if I say we haven't really seen all there is in bitcoin. Bitcoin is limited in supply, where as good and real estate are not. This is why bitcoin will continue to give better ROI compared to the other investments you mentioned. With each passing day more and more people are coming into bitcoin investment. Those who invested $1k 10 years ago, have made their own profit and that's not important anymore. What's important now is making our own investment now and see what happens with the investment in 10 years time. We should be part of those who will among those who will say am grateful I invested in bitcoin in 10 years to come.
Because bitcoin has different innovations compared to fiat, its potential use can still be obtained and developed. Increasing adoption has a positive impact on people's trust in it, of course not only the community, the government is also very eager to take advantage of it.

Bitcoin's long-term potential is still very reasonable to expect, but you should not ignore the many risks involved. If you invest because other people are profiting from bitcoin, you are forgetting one thing; Bitcoin is a risky investment if you have no knowledge about it. I don't want someone asking me to invest on their behalf, I tend to give them the advice to learn on their own and start on their own at their own risk.

Becoming a holder for a period of 10 years is not mandatory for you at all. If you are able to survive that period of time then I hope your psychology will be fine when you see a new ATH in a few years, and let it pass without you taking advantage of it.

In theory, Bayern Munich has a chance to catch up with Lazio goal deficit, with several advantages they have, including acting as hosts. I also think that Thomas Tuchel squad can score two goals, as a condition for qualifying for the quarter finals. In terms of squad depth, Bayern Munich has much better players than Lazio, if you could say Lazio was lucky in the first leg match at home. Thomas Tuchel has certainly learned from experience, and will change his game strategy to be able to beat the Serie A representatives.

Thomas Tuchel will certainly maximize the services of his expensive striker Harry Kane. If the ball supply flows smoothly, Harry Kane can ensure that every opportunity can be converted into a goal. Bayern Munich defense line is an area that Thomas Tuchel must pay close attention to, when Harry Kane scores a goal those guarding the back line must be able to maintain their lead. In my opinion, Lazio will play with a defensive strategy and rely on counter attacks, while Bayern Munich will play openly and attack, to pursue a safe point first.
On paper, Bayern Munich is the favorite team to qualify for the quarter-finals against Lazio. Not sure Lazio can maintain a 1-0 lead on the road, it's too difficult considering Bayern Munich is playing at home. Lazio could play defensively and take advantage of counter-attacks, but Tuchel seems to have big plans for home and the match will probably not be the same as the first leg.

Banyern Munich have many experienced players in the Champions League, but they are not favorites to win the title. The quarter-finals are still a possibility, especially because they are playing at home, but if Tuchel also fails to win at home then perhaps he really deserves to leave before the end of the season.

It seems like you are too sentimental about what other members have expressed here. If you are a Madrid fan, of course it is natural that you want your favorite team to win, but there is nothing wrong with fans of rival teams also hoping that Madrid will lose, right?
If you say that when Barcelona won, no one complained, of course you are wrong because as far as I know, many members here also complained about Barcelona and I think maybe the people who complained were Madrid fans, because the rivalry between the two teams has also affected the fans of both teams.

I personally am not a fan of the Spanish league team but to be honest I quite enjoyed the match, winning by a narrow score (1-0) certainly indicates that the match was tough and full of tension throughout the match, if you saw the match of course you know what Modric experience was like able to bring change to the match with his single long-range goal.
Yes, I think that is common among both fans. The bad side of both teams will always be there for their respective fans because basically their rivalry affects many things. I am a Real Madrid fan without hating Barcelona as a competitor, however some Real Madrid fans hate Barcelona regardless of what they have achieved in different seasons.

I would call them hardcore fans who absolutely do not want any better team than the one they support. I tend to be neutral about a match and enjoy it instead of worrying about trivial matters. Barcelona and Real Madrid are two great teams in La Liga, both dominate La Liga with titles and that is why I love La Liga.

Congratulations to Liverpool, Kloop is still proving he doesn't seem to be tired. But his departure seems to have other problems. With the current state of performance of course if I am the owner of Liverpool then I want him to stay and not leave. Liverpool's victory in the Carabao Cup may be the first title of the season there is a chance to add to the EPL champions. In addition they also have the opportunity to win the Europa League. So Kloop seems to want to give a beautiful impression when he leaves.
That's right, it was Klopp and Liverpool's first title this season as well as Jurgen Klopp's second title with Liverpool for the EFL since becoming coach. This is Jurgen Klopp's final season with Liverpool and he will use everything he and his team have to win something impressive. His departure at the end of the season will indeed cause problems, but his replacement at Liverpool will try to play his role.

The European League title and the English League title are two other titles that are being sought. Jugen Klopp will try to win the two titles this season so that his departure really makes an unforgettable impression. Klopp has only won 1 Premier League title and this season he has the opportunity to win 1 more title. However, the most difficult thing was when Klopp had to thwart the efforts of Arsenal and Manchester City, who were both in tight competition with only 1 point difference between each.

Wouldn't all of that be worth the price when Bitcoin becomes more expensive? There is no need to worry and be afraid of that delivery fee problem because everything will be so appropriate when someone makes a transaction with one of the best assets that has been around for a long time in the crypto space. And I myself find it surprising that those of you who already have a ranking this high still think like that which basically has never been thought about by other people who continue to hope to see the price of Bitcoin at an even higher level than now.

So I think your thoughts like that are really funny and don't make sense. Because in general, when Bitcoin becomes more expensive, of course everyone will continue to look after it very well and will not just release it into the market so that this can make the network for sending Bitcoin more stable and will not become expensive in terms of costs.
No, transaction fees and scalability will always be considered an issue by some users. Luckily, bitcoin gives us the option to determine our own fees regardless of how long you have to wait in line to be mined. The greater the fees you incur, the faster your transactions will be mined. Cost issues will always be a problem, but you don't have to lose solutions to handle them.

People always expect transaction fees to be cheaper or even close to zero. I don't remember when I did a transaction with 1 sat/byte, but it was probably a long time ago since fees became more expensive. We have alternative options, and so do other users.

Haha this is not something worthy of being compared instead of comparing their squad with Sevilla it is very clear that the Real Madrid squad is better than all the teams in Laliga that's why Real Madrid is at the top of the standings with a record once defeat. Even so, but there is no guarantee that Real Madrid will win all the remaining matches sometimes unlucky days can come at any time for example in their last match against Rayo Vallecano nobody suspects that Real Madrid only drew. The same thing in today's match, on paper, Real Madrid is clearly favored but Sevilla has a good record lately not lost in the last 4 matches. In addition, Real Madrid players also need enough rest to face matches in the Champions League.
I agree that on paper Real Madrid is really the favorite because of the performance of its players. They have a home advantage that could be maximized, but I found Real Madrid were hampered in scoring in the first half despite several good chances. Some of the referee's decisions seemed a little controversial, causing Ancelotti and several players to protest despite the consequence of getting a card.

The first half ended with 1 goal disallowed due to a foul by Nacho, but I hope Ancelotti has a surprise in the second half to make Real Madrid perform better in exploiting opportunities. A draw might not be bad if Sevilla can defend well, but Real Madrid must avoid defeat.

There are many possibilities and scenarios that could happen in the second leg, you can see in the picture below, Arsenal is the favorite with only @1,24 odds. But we know that Porto have an advantage on the aggregate side which makes them more confident in playing defensively.

Well, with all of these and as I said before, I wouldn't bet on this match because the risk is too high.
I don't think the risk is too high to choose Arsenal to win the match. I don't think Arsenal lost at home even though Porto had 1 goal in hand from the first leg. Arsenal are in their best form so far, but in the first leg they were really unlucky.

The second leg will be a decision that makes Arsenal have to work hard. The match might be fierce and less balanced if Porto focus on defending, but this is an opportunity that Arsenal can take advantage of, especially to press higher. Arteta must formulate the right strategy for this match, but his focus now is on winning the next two matches against Sheffield and Brentford.

Chelsea has constantly being a disappointment to fans this season irrespective of how minor the calibre of players they play against they  still make room for disappointment. Just like other games before now  Chelsea missed a lot of goal chances and in football chances are what you use to convert goals to your side to win a game but that's one thing lacking among Chelsea attackers which is why they keep losing even games they should win. A lack of clinical finishers that are hungry for goals is Chelsea's main problem. Going by history, sequentially this is the 6th final the Blues would be losing at  Wembley. Congratulations to Liverpool winner carabao cup 23/24.
Chelsea have tried to score goals, but you are right, they still have a lot of shortcomings in terms of finishing. Pochettino really needs a great striker in his squad to increase the probability of goals in each of their matches, but so far Pochettino doesn't have that option.

The match was fierce because both teams both performed impressively. I almost thought the winner would be decided after the penalty, but Liverpool were really lucky because Van Djik was able to convert his chance into a goal. This is a lovely gift for Jurgen Klopp who has declared his departure from Liverpool at the end of the season, so he should have fun with this.

There is a little time left for the Real Madrid - Sevilla match to start. Bellingham is still not able to play due to ankle injury. This must be really sad for Real Madrid as he is the player with the best form in the squad.

There are quite many missing players at Real Madrid actually especially after the recent injuries and suspensions. But bookies aren't still giving Real Madrid higher odds to win. Because Sevilla are that bad this season. Their away performances have also been really poor so far. I don't feel like they can get any points today. If this game was played at Sevilla's stadium then I wouldn't have bet on Real Madrid to win. But now I have already done it.  Grin
Real Madrid has better squad depth than Sevilla and they should have a high chance of winning. I know there are several players who have to be absent for their own reasons, but Ancelotti can adapt to his team's needs against Sevilla.

There was a change in strategy in this match where Real Madrid played with a 4-4-2 formation instead of the usual 4-3-1-2. I don't know what Ancelotti is planning for this match, but I have seen that Real Madrid is not very good with a different formation. I hope Real Madrid maintains its unbeaten record in the last 7 matches in all competitions, this should be the 8th.

I never believe in predictions made by theorists, I always believe in my own thoughts and predictions. Many theorists have predicted bitcoin will go to zero I never believe that bitcoin will go to zero but I believe that bitcoin is not zero and will go above $100,000 in 2024. Also, I think the popularity of Bitcoin will increase as the day goes by and as the popularity of Bitcoin continues to increase, the value and demand for Bitcoin will increase which in turn will increase the price of Bitcoin much more.
Their theory might come true if bitcoin were banned worldwide and all crypto assets in the industry were closed by the government. This is not something to expect, but you should just take it as a message that bitcoin will not be valuable forever. There are risks that should not be ignored including bitcoin being worthless due to local regulations, that is a legal risk.

Whatever the risk, it is still a risk regardless of how large or small the potential for it to occur. After all, it is unwise to put 100% of your budget into bitcoin without considering any risks, so consider the above theory as a warning message that should not be completely ignored.
255  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH before halving. Is it possible? on: February 24, 2024, 08:14:04 PM
A new ATH from this position is very much on the cards. Institutional demand is increasing, and the recent rally is proof. The possibility of BTC touching $69k can not be ruled out. If the current trends continue, the chances of reaching ATH are high. The global economic recession might become a limiting factor.
I'm skeptical about a new ATH before the halving, it's never happened in history. Of course no one knows whether the same history will always repeat itself, but the probability of getting a new ATH before the halving does not seem very high. You could say institutional bought a lot, whales collected a lot, but regarding the new ATH, it's a bit difficult.

In my opinion, a new ATH is more likely to be achieved after the halving. We know it's hard to predict exactly when, but we have 15 to 18 months after the halving to see something big called a bull cycle.

Real Madrid is now leading the La Liga points table. La Liga's best team is number one in the points table with 5 points behind Barcelona. Girona held the top position of the points table for a long time but recently they started to lose their position. First they came from number one position in the points table to number two and later they dropped from number two position to number three in the points table, although the difference between Barcelona and Girona is only 1 point.

Barcelona performed brilliantly in today's match, especially in the second half, Barcelona's performance was eye-catching. Barcelona's performance seems to have made a strong comeback in the competition and they will surely give Real Madrid a tough fight for the title.
You are right, Barcelona performed brilliantly in their home match today with a big win. Even though Lewandowski didn't score, Barcelona was able to score 4 goals without conceding until the end of the match. Raphinha, Joao Felix, Frengki De Jong and Fermin Lopez scored goals for Barcelona's victory, of course this put them 1 point ahead of Girona.

Real Madrid is still very safe at the top of the standings even though Barcelona performed well with their victory, it has no effect on Real Madrid. Girona and Real Madrid have not played each other's matches, this allows them to create the same points gap as before. I think the standings will not change this week even if Barcelona wins.

Man United had several opportunities but were unable to take advantage of them to score goals and Hojlund's absence made Man United's attacks less dangerous. Fulham managed to stop Man United's positive trend and this was a little more disappointing because they were playing at home and facing a much easier team but Man United had to suffer defeat. Maguire managed to equalize at the end of the second half before it ended, but unfortunately Iwobi managed to score the second goal in the added minute of stoppage time so Fulham managed to beat Man United.

This defeat is quite detrimental to Man United because it failed to make a distance of points from Tottenham who in the next match will face Chelsea even though the match must be postponed. For Fulham, this victory is very important because they managed to distance themselves from Bournemouth in 13th place in the standings.
I think this is an unexpected defeat because Manchester United has not been defeated in 7 consecutive matches in all competitions during 2024. Fulham managed to beat Manchester United at the end of the match while stopping Manchester United's unbeaten record in 2024.

I admit that this result is bad for Manchester United, they are basically favorites in this match. Ten Hag seemed to underestimate Fulham a little in that match if you look at the composition of his main players at the start of the match. Scott McTominay and Antony look better to start instead of Omari Forson and Kobbie Mainoo, both of whom have good ability to make Manchester United's attack power better. But this is not entirely Ten Hag's fault.

Even with those problems, they managed to draw with Barcelona. I don't think Barcelona have any serious problems that prevent them from winning, at least they are playing better than Napoli. Napoli are awful this season, as their play shows, I'll be surprised if they go any further
Both teams are equally bad in terms of consistency, but Barcelona is certainly better than Napoli. As bad as Barcelona's performance is, they are still a team that has the possibility of qualifying for the Champions League next season. Currently Barcelona is in 3rd place in the La Liga standings and they also have the potential to take second place from Girona if Girona loses points in the next match.

Napoli are not very reliable in the Champions League and basically they are more likely to fail to qualify for the quarter-finals. I think Barcelona will qualify for the quarter-finals, they have a good performance to be underestimated.

Though the game is not over yet but I have no fear after picking Leverkusen to still win the game before they finally get a second goal which was scored by Robert Andrich. Leverkusen has the advantage of winning the game regardless of the fact that they are playing at home their performance also shows how serious they are cause they are dominating in the game, they are very happy to set the record should they win the game I believe it's going to be another record for the team especially their young coach xabi Alonso who became frustrated when his team was still battling 1:1 with the away team but after receiving a yellow card he became a bit relaxed but now his team has taken the lead.
The match is over and Leverkunsen managed to score a tough win today against Mainz. Currently Leverkusen has a difference of 11 points over Bayern Munich and this might make Leverkusen more comfortable at the top of the standings. Munich is suffering and seems to be failing in the Bundesliga this season, some say this is Kane's curse.

Bayern Munich will host Leipzig for the next match. Leipzig are in good form ahead of this important match, they are also very motivated to win after having 3 matches without defeat. This might be a tough test for Bayern Munich after suffering 2 consecutive defeats in the Bundesliga, but the probability of their victory is still very high.

How can you mention Steven Gerrard? This is wickedness you know? Maybe you didn't see how badly he did with Aston Villa, Yes?
Steven Gerrard is not that man for Liverpool, Maybe because you watched him in his playing days and thought, he'd do wellas a manager gladly for them but I'm thinking otherwise.

Xabi Alonso has also been reported to be close to full conclusion with Bayern Munich right now and will not be considering the move to Liverpool anymore.
For Roberto De Zebri? He has been heavily linked with the move to Barcelona and I believe he is just the perfect man for those plans they have.
There are too many rumors about Jurgen Klopp's successor at Liverpool, but we might be surprised when the management makes a decision. Several famous and experienced coaches have been linked with Liverpool, but I believe Liverpool have a good plan to sign one of them. They won't get the same coach as Jurgen Klopp, but Liverpool will have to get one of the best to keep the Premier League competition great.

Some coaches with Spanish passports are great coaches, but most of them still have long-term contracts with their current teams. I wonder, is it possible for Liverpool to approach Xavi and discuss the project?
