11021  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best cellphone wallets on: May 17, 2017, 03:51:42 PM
I agree how reliable cellphone wallet is the Breadwallet, IIRC for IOS and android 6.0 users and above, but even though the last month many people do not discuss the possibility of a hardfork it is useful to know what the developers of any wallet are intended to do if this happen. That means, if they will offer the capability the user to choose the chain which he prefers or not.

EDIT:
i use bread wallet. it is so simple and fast for beginners.

I also used breadwallet. Started as wallet for IPhone, but now it also support Android devices running 6.0 or higher.
It is easy to used because its very simple and the security it provided makes it friendly to people new to bitcoin. So I would recommend this to you. https://breadwallet.com/
Another wallet I heard, but I haven't used it is Airbitz. Its also supports both IOS and Android as well. Here's some review I found about it.

- Simple account creation using just a login & password (no printing or emailing of PDFs, writing down passphrases or adding encryption settings)
- Automatic wallet encryption, backup, and multi-device synchronization

I hope this helps.
11022  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-05-15] Digital gold: why hackers love Bitcoin on: May 17, 2017, 03:13:21 PM
The people using Bitcoin to do this, might just get some big surprise soon. Bitcoin might be pseudo anonymous and these people might be using

tools and services to make it more anonymous.... but this might soon backfire on them. These services might have some holes or exploits that

secret agencies are aware of and which these services might not be aware of. We have seen how powerful these LEAKED NSA tools were and how

many more of these tools are out there... that are not leaked?  Huh

I think this could be true. Eventhough they will try to used mixers to "mix" their coins so its hard to traced. Some agency like NSA have already found a hole that will make the bitcoin traceable to someone else IP address and can be easily identified. Hackers thought they are one step ahead, but least do they know that NSA may have already found and exploit it any backdoor. Maybe we will just hear soon from news that this hacker/s has been arrested in his home basement. LOL.
11023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 1800$ on: May 17, 2017, 02:42:34 PM
It's a lot, do you think it will go up more?
The target for this year is to reach the bitcoin price into $2000 dollars per bitcoin it will go up more based on what the ceo of blockchain said bitcoin will be at the price of half of million dollars by the year of 2020 or maybe less this could be possible any time the only 2000 dollars?

Currently, the price is pegged at $1600-$$1750. So obviously the next target will be $2000 and I speculate it could be hitted t his year and even more. Bitcoin is now has the full confident of investors, big investors. Even some of them are now going out and telling about how much they have investment in bitcoin. So I'm confident now that the price will really reach by $2000. And it looks like there are a lot of countries are interested to adopt or embrace bitcoin in the next couple of months which will push the price of bitcoin to a new level.
11024  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: May 17, 2017, 02:12:45 PM
is bitcoin more popular than US Dollar ?
Nope bitcoin is not more popular than US dollar because US dollar can use it worldwide unlike bitcoin you can only use it if you convert it into a real money. If bitcoin has been accepted by the government and became a legal currency, bitcoin not will be more popular but it will be oftenly used by people worldwide than US Dollar.

Bitcoin will not as popular in terms of usage. It is still USD that will dominate the financial landscape not just US but globally. Local currency of each nation is leverage against USD. And bitcoin currently, is not as popular because its is not yet mass adopted. And with bitcoin, we always need to convert it to fiat to be able to used it to buy things so not all will love to do that. Most want local fiat or converted to USD to strengthen their buying power. So I don't think bitcoin can be as popular as the USD.
11025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 17, 2017, 09:13:38 AM
End of game:

Spurs 100 - 136 GSW

Also the Warriors won every quarter.

Was an easier win for GSW than I expected

I'm surprised what happened. I thought it will be a crucial game even no Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker. And because of that I bet in Spurs +13 . Thoughts in game 3 at San Antonio Spurs? Can Kawhi Leonard play this game? And if ever he will the game 3 is there a chance Spurs win the game 3?

Pretty sure they will force to win that game. Every match is crucial. They don't want to takeaway their chance to get into finals. But Coach Pov obviously surrendered game 2. As expected. I think he is just experimenting the whole game. He let bench players to play on 2nd half. Simmons is the one who is the only active on scoring. While Green, and Aldridge is totally shut down because of the good defense of GS. They need to step up.

The game will be mental now. Golden State is already ahead and with Leonard not playing I doubt that San Antonio can go to the finals. I said its mental because San Antonio need to used all their skills and not think of the lead that Golden State has build. They should take it one game at a time to pull an upset on Golden State. I still think the coach Popovich still has some tricks than he can pull to win at least a game to change the momentum so that San Antonio can think that they can beat Golden State.
11026  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VOTE Who is the big winner in the Wannacry Ransomware attack? on: May 17, 2017, 08:43:00 AM
What has Ripple got to do with this. Ripple is not even a real cryptocurrency. No one is the big winner here, in fact the originators of the attack will be the losers in the end as people will become more aware after this attack and will back up their files a lot more regularly. If they create a new Ransomware it will not be effective as very very few people will accept to pay the ransom, the others will gladly format their PC and reinstall their OS and then transfer the backup files. In the end no one is the winner.

Yeah I agree with you. Ripple what? In the end the hackers will lose in this. People now are going to safeguard their crypto's so that they will not be a victim of another kind of malware like Wannacry. Of course, they will evolve, to find new exploits, but people now will learn how to backup their files everyday or even make their wallet safe. And as far as media attention is concern, I think its a good exposure to bitcoin technology. People will search what bitcoin is and why the hackers want it as mode of payment.
11027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Average Bitcoin Owned Per User on: May 17, 2017, 07:44:59 AM
Personally, I think its between .05-1BTC average per user. Only few has even hundred or thousands, only the big whales or millionaires has this kind of btc in their wallet. And for those professional traders, I honestly, believe they don't even own 10 btc as well. And majority of bitcoin users, rely on a signature campaign to earn btc, and we all know that we can only earn small amount through it. So my educate guess is less than 1 btc.
11028  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian sweat shop on: May 14, 2017, 04:16:13 PM
LOL. What's with this Russian people? This is really account farming in a different level now. One office with 200 accounts? I think they should be obviously banned, all of them. They thought they can get away with it, because they  guess that this is an easy job. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. They have lost they income and job. They have exploited the system, but the system caught up with them. It just shows that account farming will not work for a long time for this Russians.
11029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 211: Miocic vs Dos Santos info and Prediction Thread on: May 14, 2017, 03:01:27 PM
Damn! My boy JDS has lost it already. Time for him to hang up and forgot all about fighting. I think it will be better if he will just work from behind like a coach or mentor. Miocic is a different animal and I agree, he has improved a lot already.

As far as Yair is concern, he needs to have a tune up fight to bring back his confidence level after the beating he got. And just want I have predicted, my boy Frankie is too much for him. I still believed that Frankie Edgar beat Jose Aldo in their fight. He will still remained as one of my all time favorite fighter.
11030  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: May 14, 2017, 02:07:06 PM

Everyone must have dream of becoming reach with bitcoin. I admit that I have too but to think more about it, bitcoin can do more than that. Upon reading some articles, bitcoin is said to be the future currency. We all know that technology is changing so fast that we can not even predict the future of it. I believe that bitcoin is the future of the paper money. As of now, bitcoin cannot be used to pay for our daily expenses like buying foods in a fast food chain. Since bitcoin is powerful, it is not just getting reach through bitcoin but also to be able to prepare for the future.

You are right, I believe too that bitcoin will be the future of paper money. Payments using bitcoin are still not widely used but who knows what will happen in the future. Bitcoin will be more popular in the future and we are the ones who are going to benefit much from it.

I also dream of becoming rich with bitcoin but I do not think that it is practical to think that way. We all know that to be able to used bitcoin, it needs to be converted into your country's currency first. For me, I will think of bitcoin as an investment or savings.

We can all be millionaires not just in bitcoin but in fiat as well. The only difference bitcoin is harder to earn because it is scarce. So to be become a millionaire you need to work you butt to earn huge amount of it. Trading is the best way to earn bitcoin, but it can also came with risk and with good enough capital to start with. For me to be a millionaire in bitcoin, I have to accumulate 10 bitcoins in my wallet. 10 bitcoins is roughly a million in our local currency. It is possible for me to earn? Absolutely, but it will take a lot of years, sweat, blood and time on my side to really become a millionaire.
11031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 14, 2017, 12:51:51 PM
Boson and Washington play 7th game, they are playing for semis great performance from both teams some that one my pass.

Tonight GSW - SAS, over 209.5 points will be for first match bet
If the warriors were not able to contain the Rockets and most of the games went over, I think this one will be easy to cap. The Spurs cannot win against the warriors with their defense only, they need to match the warriors in their offense as there are good shooters in the floor, you guys might be surprise if they will pressure on the Curry and Thompson to minimize their production and Draymond will record a good 3 point shooting night.

For me defense will win the game. San Antonio will try to contain Curry and Thompson and will rotate a lot of players to bring fresh legs against them. However, the handicap for San Antonio is that Parker is injured and can't play. Parker experienced is badly needed in this series. He's play making skills and decision making will be surely missed. Because as much as GSW loves to run, San Antonio need set up offense to negate the running game of GSW. This for me the big factor that I will go against San Antonio in this series. 4-2 GSW.
11032  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-05-14]Markets Update: Bitcoin Price Cools Down After Slight Correction on: May 14, 2017, 08:47:48 AM
Nothing to worry about the price though. The correct and resistance is inevitable. Sure it can recover and rebound to any of this. We should really understand here is that Japan market is pushing the price and will keep doing so. The $2000 barrier is almost there to reach, but for me its just a matter of time. I think you will all agree that we can wait for it to be breach. Chinese will be back in action in the bitcoin scene. Australia is also there. So we can just all sit back and wait till the psychological $2000 barrier is reach and we are all be happy and eating popcorn in the background.
11033  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Internet Marketing on: May 14, 2017, 07:16:16 AM
i am starting marketing for my product . i want to know about internet marketing.is true internet marketing = making money How to succeed in internet marketing?
First before you get to market a product, not only on the internet you need to know where your potential customers will be.

Secondly you marketing costs should not be greater than your revenue, if you can plan(budget) how cost will be managed do it so that you run at a loss!

internet marketing = making money will only be true if the marketing was a success, costs were kept at bay and reached out to the intended audience!
Happy money making.

Exactly what I'm been telling people. People thought that when they search for tips on how to earn money thru Internet Marketing and just follow the steps outline they will be successful. Competition is very tough out there, and if you don't pick the correct product to sell and target the correct audience you will not get anyone to buy your product. Social media's are already out there for you to market your product. You need to do a lot market research to select the best niche and target potential clients are biggest challenge if you want to start with Internet Marketing and start on making money.
11034  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin reach the $4000 mark this year ? on: May 14, 2017, 06:30:40 AM
Currently, we really don't know if what price bitcoin can peak. Every speculation from $1000-$1800 has been touch already. All I can say is that bitcoin has shown resiliency, so whatever price you predict will be reached its just a matter of time of when, could be this year or the next coming year. I would just advise not to get excited for every new ATH or if the price goes down. If you are in for the longer term, you wouldn't worry much. You just have to guard your profit or your lost.
11035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RANSOMWARE impact on: May 13, 2017, 07:45:12 PM
I think the bitcoin will fall because of RANSOMWARE,it is impossible/Difficult to track who did this and in futur Bitcoins will be considered as a motivation mean for such act

I don't think it was greater impact to the market price really. Media didn't sensationalized bitcoin, what some other media reports says the threat of the virus is real, and not about bitcoin. Or could be increase the price of bitcoin it you look at it because people who has been affected may tend to buy to pay the ransom. I guess we just have to very careful now specially clicking any links we saw online so that we are not going to be another statistics of this illegal purposes.
11036  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War 3 on: May 13, 2017, 04:46:10 PM
North Korea has always been like that. But I don't think they will start WW3. They are just doing some psyche warfare with Japan or even United States. Because I still believed that they won't used nuclear weapons unless they are provoked by either countries. President Trump now says that he wants to talk to North Korea. Maybe this is a sign that they don't want any war with them. And there is a new President in South Korea's neighbors which says he will likely talk to North Korean's as well. So for me there would be no WW3 happening.
11037  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best short-term investment you have ever made? on: May 13, 2017, 01:50:32 PM
The best short term investment that I have made up to date was just to buy bitcoin at a price in the morning by evening when the price at increased a little to cover my cost and stress, I just sold it off because I was scared the price might go down further and I might blame myself for it. Other short investments have turned to be scam with HYIP promising 24hours return. I was bitten on that part too.

I was bitten by doubler as well in my journey on bitcoin in the beginning. I thought that my short term investment of it will give me good returns because they are paying at first. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I learned my lessons the hard way.

I also have similar experienced as yours, I buy in the morning when the price is low, but in the evening some bad news came in that I needed to sell it in the evening. I guess my mistake is that I invest money that I'm not willing to afford. So in emergency situation, I have not choice but to sell it. Good thing I made a profit that time but only a small amount.
11038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: May 13, 2017, 01:20:47 PM
It's worth it because you are learning in the process. Even better if you're investing in a business you're not certain about like a Bitcoin casino. In such case it's better to start small and see how it goes and in future increase your stake. Also your money will not grow by itself. You have to invest to have more.
It is true we should use small capital first because it will avoid a great loss that we have and we should choose a safe investment and of course to increase the stocks that we've got the money, therefore we will be developing

I see your point.

Small investment equates small profit. But what you are saying is that if you are a newcomer, and you decided to invest let say to a online casino, and to mitigate risk you should start with a small capital only. And once your investment gain dividends you should roll it so that you profit more in a slow manner. This make sense for individual who are newbie and has small capital. I guess you need a lot of patience because your gain will be slow as compare to investing big amount at the beginning.
11039  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-05-13] Massive ransomware infection hits computers in 99 countries on: May 13, 2017, 12:29:59 PM
I also saw a news report just now in CNN local(Philippines). You became frustrated when your personal computers or laptop and to damn slow virus of a virus, but what if the virus demand you to pay ransom to remove it from your computers so that you can access your important files again?

Hackers also evolved as well, initially they just hack just to proved a point, now they are demanding you to pay them. Yes, they became greedy now. It is like they are cyber terrorist now, they are holding you hostage and to prevent hassle on you end, you don't have a choice but to pay them.  I guess we should to careful now not to click on anything we see on the internet. Specially pornographic ads because hackers are exploiting on this human weaknesses.
11040  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you have an idea to invest your bitcoin in offline business? on: May 13, 2017, 02:20:37 AM
Of course if we treat Bitcoin as fiat, then there's nothing we can't invest or reinvest Bitcoin on offline for tangible or investment we can feel. The major problem with Bitcoin usage is converting the coins to fiat in countries when its awareness isnt widespread and also if the many scamming activities around Bitcoin. I meant of those who parade themselves as exchangers.

Anyway, I will like to reinvest my Bitcoin into my poultry business and then expand into piggery when I have enough coins.

But how can you get enough Bitcoins for your poultry and piggery enterprise? Where did you get the BTC youre holding right now? From your signature campaign? Its better to borrow some money and start it right away.
If you can see an opportunity to build up a business because you saw about the potential of success then we cant really rely on signature campaign earnings since we do know its only a small amount better to take those traditional loans it may cost some interest but still okay as long your business is on good profits.Investing bitcoin on offline businesses isn't possible because you cant directly spend it.

In my case, I didn't go to the traditional bank loans because my offline business only needed small capital. But I was able to turn that small capital to a good profit. But just like any other business, I have days that I don't have customers, days that inventory was emptied. So it was really a challenging for me in the beginning. I keep on struggling, until such time that it yielded reward but my bitcoin earning from signature campaign just augmented my capital so that I can buy more stocks and of course more profits. So if you have any business idea, start small because through hard work sweat and tears, it can blossom and become big someday.
