Any of you watch Turkish teams? Beşiktaş is great this year. They passed Feyenoord in CL qualifications but they have no chance in drawings. They found the best team again, Arsenal. It's very hard to eliminate Arsenal, probably they move on to Europa League. Today in friendly they won against both Fenerbahçe and Chelsea 1-0. Matches were 45 minutes, it was for helping Soma incident.

I like Besiktas because I am Croatian and their manager is Slaven Bilic. Are you big Besiktas fan? What's your opinion on Bilic?

I like Bilic, since from the time he was leading Croatian national team.
He was very good player, now is very good manager and very special personality and character.

Hmmm you seem to be forgetting that is was the US who created, trained and financed the Taliban to fight the Russians. They even taught them how to hijack planes and make improvised explosives ffs
[/quote]

You are right.
USA really made many wrong and bad political decisions in this area (based on motto- enemy of my enemy should be my friend) and now it's really very hard do fix it.
President Bush tried by force, but with limited success and Obama with peace talks, again without any concrete results.
I'm afraid that we will not see peace or stability in this area very long time.
11063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thailand Government Treatment of Bitcoin - The Real Story on: August 09, 2014, 11:35:21 AM
Just wait till the police catch someone buying drugs or gambling online using Bitcoin.

If that gets on the news it's over.

Of course no one can stop individuals from using Bitcoin. But if it ever gets associated with drugs or gambling in Thailand I would be scared to death if I was running a Bitcoin business based in Thailand.

This is really possible and if such things happened Thailand Government can change their mind regarding Bitcoin.
Still, i hope that we will see real breakthrough regarding Bitcoin in Thailand.
11064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How To Explain Bitcoin To Your Grandparents on: August 09, 2014, 11:06:04 AM
This is very difficult task, really.
If they use Internet maybe they can understand concept of Bitcoin.
If not, just told them that Bitcoin is the ''future money'' and if they invest their money now in bitcoin, they will earn a lot Smiley
11065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first nightmare with bitcoin! on: August 09, 2014, 10:31:03 AM
If you have big amount of Bitcoin it's better that you separate this in many small amounts and put in different E wallets.
Use additional security and if still unsure withdraw this money.
11066  Other / Off-topic / Re: Post your Total time logged into Bitcointalk on: August 09, 2014, 10:17:21 AM

WOW, I'm here almost 3 days Smiley
11067  Other / Politics & Society / Re: White House won’t commit on stopping potential ‘genocide’ in Iraq on: August 09, 2014, 10:06:15 AM
If Barack Obama really wanted to stop the genocide, then he should have given shipments of heavy weaponry to the Kurdish Peshmerga two weeks ago, when they were fighting the ISIS in Mosul. Now it is too late to save the Yazidis and Assyrians.

I agree with you.
Their reaction is always to late and to weak, the same story like in Ukraine.
It seems Obama want to do something without risk, but this doesn't work.
Sad story is that nobody want to be involved to much in Iraq.
11068  Economy / Economics / Re: --- You Are Not Late --- on: August 09, 2014, 10:00:37 AM
The article tells the truth, we are all still early adopters and in the future most of the people would have wanted to be like us.
I don't think we would really be considered to be early adopters anymore but I think that anyone holding bitcoin today would likely end up with a lot of profit in a few short years.

I agree with this.
Already to long time passed that we can still be early adopters but still we can count that value of Bitcoin will rise, as Bitcoin become more popular and famous over next a few years.
As soon as ''big merchants'' accept Bitcoin we will be on the way to become mainstream.
11069  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Payza now accepting Bitcoin! on: August 09, 2014, 09:50:21 AM
See it here https://helpdesk.payza.com/index.php/Knowledgebase/List/Index/179/bitcoin

Its good to see Paypal competitors accepting bitcoin!

Yes, this is great news!
I hope other exchangers will follow as well and this will help us, Bitcoin users, to exchange Bitcoin to other currencies more quickly and more easy.
11070  Other / Off-topic / Re: Observations on prayers and miracles? on: August 08, 2014, 09:07:53 PM
I think that God in different religions and tradition is the same being, just people had different understanding and thinking who is God, based on their cultural and spiritual foundation and development.
In every culture and nation, in the time of need and despair, people was asking for spiritual help and guidance.
This never change.

11071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will full BTC adoption require Retailers to ONLY accept BTC? on: August 08, 2014, 08:38:46 PM
I also don't think that full BTC adoption means that Retailers will accept only Bitcoin as way of payment.
It's not realistic that all their customers will accept Bitcoin right away, just because Bitcoin is payment option.
It's long way to go until Bitcoin from main alternative currency become main currency and even then still many people will be more comfortable with Dollars, Euro etc.
11072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why should common people use bitcoin? on: August 08, 2014, 08:12:28 PM
Common people still didn't hear about Bitcoin so this is the biggest issue now.
Still we have to help and advertise Bitcoin to the merchants so that common people can see benefit of using bitcoin, for buying different products and services but also we should show that bitcoin can be good investment in the future, better than US dollar Smiley
11073  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you willing to go above and beyond at work on: August 08, 2014, 07:56:36 PM
this may include anything ranging from putting in some extra hours without pay, help to finish work not in your job description, etc.

let's assume this is a white collar office job.

It depends of the company management first, if they are fair and honest toward employers, if this extra hours will benefit both company and myself, if other employers will also support this and stay longer etc.
11074  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can all Government Functions be Replaced by Peer to Peer? on: August 08, 2014, 07:50:11 PM
I think that we should have self regulated society, where most things is decided by the free market and maybe government with very little functions like public health, foreign policy, monetary policy, army etc.
11075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin magazine sells for USD?!?! on: August 08, 2014, 07:21:01 PM
I don't see problem here.
Not everybody interested in bitcoin already have bitcoin in their wallet.
If goal of this magazine is to have readers not just from bitcoin community but also from people not involved in bitcoin business yet, than it make sense to offer different payment options.

11076  Economy / Economics / Re: If it is only buying and selling on exchanges, how do you think they are profita on: August 08, 2014, 06:30:17 PM
If they will not have profit, they will not do this business Smiley
They have a few ways to make profit, from their internal fees, from difference in prices when you buy and sell currency, from website ads etc.
11077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Anonymity so important to you? on: August 08, 2014, 06:19:51 PM
Anonymity is for me some kind of online protections because I don't want that my financial info become public info, available to hackers but also to financial institutions in my county.
''Big brother'' doesn't need to know everything Smiley
11078  Other / Off-topic / Re: What kind of mouse you use and do you like it? on: August 07, 2014, 08:06:45 PM
I'm using Logitech wireless (with battery) and also SmartBox.
Content with both.
11079  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Breaking: Obama considering airstrikes in Iraq on: August 07, 2014, 07:53:46 PM
Bad tactic. If Obama is serious about countering the ISIS, then he should give high grade advanced weaponry to the Kurdish Peshmerga troops who are fighting the ISIS in Northern Iraq.

I also think that airstrikes will not be enough to stop ISIS.
Giving high grade advanced weaponry not just to Kurds but also regular Iraq army is the only way (and the best strategy) to stop terrorist in Iraq.
11080  Other / Off-topic / Re: My favorit genre of Book on: August 07, 2014, 05:13:29 PM
I like comedy, real family humor from Ephraim Kishon, Israel.
Hos family novels are so real, authentic, that you think that he writing about your own family Smiley
