There are many things you can sell on the internet. I have a friend and he is a game reseller. He sell key Steam game and he has made a lot of money from his job. You can do that too if you want Wink

Can you please elaborate more on this scheme? I'm thinking of doing some business but can't find a good source of Steam games that I can resell for cheap price.

Have you thought about selling some exclusive or rare collections like baseball cards, classic watch. It doesn't comes from you can start by working as re seller from the real seller  Cool
Perhaps there is an idea to sell cards in this way via the Internet and for crypto currency. In this way, one can earn very well on the Crypto currency and thereby spread the word about crypto currency to a large number of people. The demand and popularization of Bitcoin is also very important in our business.

Selling cards specially collectors items is very profitable indeed. But I'm seeing a lot of fake cards lately. Just be sure that you are getting a genuine card before getting one. I know that this market is huge but its gonna be hard to penetrate if I'm not mistaken. I'm thinking of selling watches, maybe this could be a good idea to the OP.
11102  Economy / Speculation / Re: is there any chance to BTC value go down? on: August 19, 2017, 02:10:04 AM
There's a big damn chance for it to happen, the significant price increase can't just keeping up forever, the correction will come if you do the math, but noone knows when it'll happen. Since the price is just pure demands from the market and just how the whales manipulate people's brain to make either buying or selling trends, no obvious analyzation and will never be.
But you are not considering about new investors. When bitcoin prices are reaching new heights, it attracts more investors from rest of world. When there are more people who are eagerly waiting to buy comparatively cheaper prices, then we cannot expect prices to fall down drastically.

Dumping/profit booking by whales will be losing its significance when there will be enough buyers on the other end. Literally when bitcoin is gaining new heights, those whales are losing their power.

I believed also that there are a lot of new investors that are willing to come in anytime. They are just waiting for the perfect time to go in, in a crash or a price dip. I see that their is minor correction going on, a lot of investors cashing in, its normal. But I speculate that new investors will be coming in this coming days pushing the price to $4500.

Of course the price can't keep going up, that is why a price correction is needed, but I don't see anything that will cause panic sell that will completely categorized it as a market crash. Its just minor price correction the way I look at it.
11103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: August 19, 2017, 01:45:13 AM
Last week, I won 87 EUR. I gambled on multiple sport betting, usually I prefer betting on soccer games and tennis, and I do put only 10 EUR. It's one of my best thing in the start of the this year 2017. Generally, I don't stake so much as the same time don't cross the barrier of 20 EUR.
One of the good things about sports betting is you can bet a low amount and if the odds are high you can earn a good amount by betting small, the only problem is to win those games with long odds may take a while.

The odds may be high, but the risk is still there and the match can go wrong. I tried to place only 3 bets in sports betting on my life and it didn't help me, I still lost. Be careful even with sports!
True!!! Not all sports betting, you can win.
Most of the time gambling or even that sports betting are more on luck, and sometimes even if you are good enough in analyzing that team, you can also lose here. Gambling is very risky and we don’t have any assurance here.
Thats why gambling isnt sure win . Even the odds of the team you pick is higher than the opponent theirs a chance of lossing. It is depending on your analyzation on a team where will you bet and on your luck too. Its hard to predict if the both teams are both good. The odds will have a chance to have odds thats the same.
True, if that teams are both good and you just relying of what you have known on that teams then there is no assurance that the team that you choose can win, I don't think that in sport betting, there is a high percentage you can win. It is still base on our luck.
But having a good analysis on choosing your team would really give an advantage if you do know the standing of such thing. Luck is always part on playing gambling and knowing sportsbetting you may see that you bet on stronger team but there are things do happen unexpectedly which would cause for you to lose which means the risk of losing is always present.
You have a good analysis on choosing a game but as like what you have said there are things do happen unexpectedly, so that will still base on luck. Even in choosing a team is not an assurance even if you say that they are the strongest team. There is still a chance that they will lose and you lose also when you bet for them.

The element of surprise is always present and we really don't know what will be the outcome or the result in sports betting. Although I think analyzing a team and making the correct decision to bet on it is a good strategy. Its that in life we really don't know the future and sometimes we think that we have all in the bag the suddenly the supposed to be winning team lost in a matter of fraction of a seconds. That's how life goes, its not over till the fat lady sings.
11104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiba Asia Cup 2017 on: August 17, 2017, 10:30:23 PM
Haven't seen any thread about the Fiba Asia Cup 2017 that runs from Aug 8 -20. Right now the semi-final team cast as completed:

Korea beat the Philippines
Iran over Lebanon
New Zealand defeat Jordan
Australia over China

so in the cross-over, its gonna be:

Australia vs New Zealand
Iran vs Korea

http://www.fiba.basketball/asiacup/2017

What's is your prediction of this upcoming matches? Please discuss.

Looks like China's dominant in the Fiba Asia has already diminished. Although they still has the most medals won followed by the Philippines. I don't know what the Chinese team sent this year, but I'm assuming that its a fresh and young pool talent. Disappointing lost of Philippines as well, because the last 2 tournament they are in the Finals, losing to Iran and China. Chinese is the defending champion, but I guess we will crown a new one. I'm going with Iran here, although Hadid the former MVP is not around anymore, they have a good solid team.
11105  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: August 17, 2017, 08:16:32 PM
Basically yes. Trading isn't really a battle of who knows most of the indicators and what they mean but rather luck and patience to profit. Most of these successful traders are there at the right moment doing the right thing. If not, they would still be struggling to get greens ever day's end. It just so happen that luck favors them that's why they end up making more money than other traders.
We cannot completely explain the results that traders that get profits by just luck, they may get lucky once in a while but if they are successful after many years then the only thing we can say is that they are more skilled than other traders they have the talent to see when the trends are going to change.

For me as you grown and more mature in trading, its no longer just a educated guess but who have learned to managed and see how the next market price will go. So you anticipate where its going to be and invest on it. There are times you might profit big and other still got a lost even though you think you have predicted it right.

So there is still an element of luck involved + experienced it in. Well no one can predict it perfectly but with time and experienced, you can used it predict the possible course of action of the price resulting in a profit. This separates the 'professional' trader from a casual trader.

11106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: August 17, 2017, 04:12:47 PM
Nice and good article for those who want to learn more about trading since i am a trader and i don't think that there are such disppointing in trading but if the trading site got hacked that the most disappointed thing that will happen to it in trading i just only choose those coins that has potential to grow with in a week and if not i just hold it for a month waiting for the price to increase is a virtue also if you want to sell it you can get back your money for less 50%

I think this is the most disappointing thing that could happened to a trader, if the trading platform was hacked. But if you looked at how Bitfinex has recovered from a hack, I think I can say that there are a chance that you can get your money back.

Its really a hard job doing trading, you need a lot of qualities like patience and not to be emotional and affected by the daily price swings because if you are then you will be truly disappointed specially if the swings are going down and you are seeing your investment going to drain.
11107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: August 17, 2017, 03:38:42 PM
It's because gambling is like a drugs addict, it's really hard to forget and stop from gambling even we lose so much money and always lose all your money in the end but i keep coming back. I also don't know why it is so hard to stop on gambling, maybe because i don't have any activity in real life and only stay on my pc 24 hours.

Gambling is indeed very addictive. It's probably not as addictive as smoking drinking or drugs, but i'm sure that gambling addiction is in top 5 addictions. It's simple to get addicted to gambling because most of people are really greedy so once they lose they will want to recover that money that they lost.. which pushes them to lose even more.

Gambling will sucked in every individual who will join in gambling world. At first it seems to cause you enjoyment and reason that you only gamble because its fun etc. But once you started to lose and thinking of recovering it, then this cycle will start and its hard to control it. The more you lose, the more you are suck in the system.

That is why is it better to leave the game early, than try to recoup everything because you can't do it. Many have tried to really recover, but end up losing more.
11108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: August 17, 2017, 02:06:05 PM
My Father in law is very sad he did not purchase BTC when my wif told him to. Now he is very scared to purchase because he says it has gone up a lot. I am trying to tell him he will regret a lot more if he does not buy in again now as next year this time Bitcoin might be ten thousand USD instead.

Its really too sad to hear this kind of story because you have given them the time and the opportunity to earn or profit from bitcoin. But they choose to ignore you because they think that it is not a good investment. Now, seeing the price is too steep for them to enter, the make excuses but for us the longer they delay  their entrance, the more they will miss the opportunity to profit. Good for you that you have explain to him not getting right now, and I'm sure he gonna regret again his decision if the price gets into the $5000-$10000 range very soon.
11109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Highest bitcoin profit you have ever received... on: August 16, 2017, 10:17:03 PM
So far my highest bitcoin profit is through signature campaign. I started at junior and was able to rank up to Full Member now. From June till now, I'm holding all of my earning and its around .074BTC. I have a target in mind to half at least 1 full BTC or even half BTC and I try my best to get it there.

Its been 4 months already and I think I needed more patience. I'm in no hurry to sell or dump my coins eventhough there is a panic sell. Will hold on it till I get that my goal has been reach. I will go into trading once I reached .1BTC so that I will have a good capital to begin with.
11110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worries: can anyone advise? on: August 16, 2017, 08:44:51 PM
What is the best wallet option if OP is investing as much as $100K?

For large amounts of Bitcoin ALWAYS use cold storage wallets like a paper wallet or a hardware wallet.

Regarding the OP question, Yes, I agree that worry is a part of human nature, but if you keep yourself pre-occupied yourself of too much worries, then you can't make a decent decision in life. The risk is already present in trading or any other investment. That is why people that succeeded in life mostly take the risk, they are willing to do it to reach their goal. So if you have too much worries about losing your money, then don't involved yourself in crypto's. The volatility and price swings will cause a lot of worries for you everyday.
11111  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-15] $45 Million: Ukrainian Lawmakers Reveal Big Bitcoin Holdings on: August 16, 2017, 08:41:35 AM
again old news-ukrainian parlament is a bunch of thieves and mentally unstable individuals
suffice it to say that the speaker is diagnosed with schitzophrenia and has all the corresponding medical evidences
some of the representatives are plain crazy, coming to work in camouflage or wearing traditional ukrainian shirts, fighting and kicking each other etc.
the electronic declarations were submitted long time ago and there are much more coins than that
if you rummaged through the documents, you would see that there are dozens of the deputies who declared bitcoins
and 45$ millions is just the tip of an iceberg

But the point is, its quite surprising that these guys are owning a lot of bitcoins. I thought they are anti-bitcoin but then again cannot removed that fact that even lawmakers from this small country are into bitcoin. I also believed that this is just a tip of the iceberg and there are lawmakers that are not fully disclosing their wealth including bitcoins.

Imagine if a lawmaker from USA saying that he has stash of bitcoin somewhere worth in $100+ million, lol that will be awesome and another rating boost for bitcoin.
11112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: August 16, 2017, 05:30:47 AM
I would say that bitcoin is a blessing for unemployed people. It has given new earning opportunities to them irrespective of their caste, creed, nation, whether living in developed country or undeveloped. It has changed their situations from waiting for a government or private sector. It has increased their standard of living. What they need is a laptop or a smart phone and access to internet.I have seen many people even quitting their tough and low paying jobs and have started earning in bitcoins.By giving earning opportunities to unemployed people, bitcoin helps progress of a nation's economy indirectly.

Very true. I know some people who are jobless but found bitcoin an opportunity to learn at the same time earn. Now they are financially secured because they work hard by joining campaigns and used this funds to go to trading which is more profitable if I might say. I'm seeing them from time to time and had chat with them and they say that bitcoin has open a lot of good things and that it makes have the financial freedom that they all wanted in life. Of course they are still doing trading and not just into investing only.
11113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $10,000 in sight !!! on: August 15, 2017, 08:00:23 AM
I think it has not been ascertained to reach $10k, but it really seems like bitcoin prices going to $10k from price movements. But reaching or not, it's really uncertain i guess and i can't predict exactly will reach $10k for the next. Just suggest who invest remains cautious about the ongoing bitcoin price movements and beyond.

Its really uncertain but the possibility of reaching $10000 is not far. We never thought that $4000 is possible this year but we have achieved it in just short span of time. Maybe this number can be broken next year or the year after. So one thing is certain, its achievable. Nothing is impossible for bitcoin now as people from everywhere are putting a lot of cash into the market. Of course those who have investment have known the risk and will always be cautions because bitcoin now is becoming a platform for rich people to put their extra money. It's turning out to be a playground for big boys. Billionaires, multi millionaires are into the ecosystem now.
11114  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-13] Goldman Sachs Warns Investors Not to Ignore Bitcoin any Longer on: August 15, 2017, 07:38:49 AM
The doubter in me is saying that Goldman Sachs might have bought bitcoins under 1000 dollars and now think this is a good time to hype it more and then they start to unload them in the market.

We became bitcoiners because we do not trust the banks. That should not change now.

Correct, Gold Sacks has earned a horrible reputation among people who pay attention. If nothing more, we have a clear sign of a short & medium-term top for Bitcoin.

And now they are saying that bitcoin will reached is ceiling at $4800  then it will crashed to $2200. LOL Just like what I said before I really don't trust in them simply because they don't understand what's behind bitcoin success. Maybe you are correct that they have put investment and really hyping it now and later will cash it out. That's how tricky and un-trusted this banks are really are. Smiley
11115  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Internet Marketing on: August 15, 2017, 04:39:51 AM
How to succeed in internet marketing home businesses. before I know bitcoin, I studied at various sites and got directions about marketing. Until now many ads come in my email because it's incorporated in the program know what it is that allows users to promote their products via email. So much of it to contain spam in incoming email.

The ads that are in your email, they are what we call email marketing. It's already popular and most of the people that are annoyed with this marketing is calling it as a scam. But I've been with that job before and I can say if you are targeting certain people who wants to avail your product will eventually get a good sales.
How to do e-mail marketing in my opinion is not effective. It's all because we do not know where the right target. Other than that people are also not easily interested to see and do click on ads in e-mail. Because most people are afraid that messages in e-mails contain phishing. I prefer to advertise on a large website than using the manual way of doing it in e-mail.

It's not effective if you are targeting uncertain customers. But if you have a list of emails that you know they are in line related or close into using your product or service, it is one of the best and effective way of marketing your offers. I worked for a bank and this is what we did with their customers and it's effective.

Another good method to start with. Email marketing. But its really hard to get a niche email unless you have a good landing page that will capture the email before proceeding to your website. I think this is very specific target, which is nice assuming that the email you captured are really interested to the products that you are going to sell. You just need an email blaster, and write a clickbait letter that will make them really curious about your product and bought them to see if it really works for them.

What my company do before is just buying those email from the other banks and companies for $0.05 / email and we had bought more than thousands of email. And that's just what we do everyone, emailing those customers and if we receive a reply, we've got a new customer because all of those people are potential customers.

Question though, isn't it illegal for some countries to send unsolicited email? I know USA has implemented such a law back then in 2003 but I'm not expect. Perhaps your country has allowed it and thus your company is buying bulk orders of email which in your case is very effective in getting a lot of potential customers. I think this is also part of SEO/SMM and some company are including this in the package they offered. And could be a very successful in producing your desired output by getting a lot of customers.

No it's not, unless there is someone who is pissed off of your emails that will report your company to the authority. I'm not working with that company anymore because they are treating us like robots and we hate to see on how the customers are replying who doesn't want to avail such products, it's a disgrace to us for reading their message to the company.

Well everyone will be really pissed off because its a unsolicited email. Glad you have moved out of that company and now found out bitcoin which I guess is making you a steady income as well just like the rest of us.

I am not sure about the law but all the SPAM I get I send tru a program that sends abuse reports to their hosts and servers. They usually get a warning or some host will delete the accts with no refund for violation of policy.

SPAM sucks, you will just make people annoyed.

I didn't know that there is such a program that will immediately send abuse reports to the host. Yeah, we all hate SPAM, that is why the US has implemented such a law and you have to put a disclaimer as I understand it or a unsubscribe link so that we as recipients can do it if we don't like the source of the email.
11116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make sure you don't lose money on: August 15, 2017, 03:39:04 AM
The only way to make sure you don't lose money, I am aware of, is arbitrage betting at sportsbooks. But you have still the risk to not receive your deposit and win for whatever excusation on part of the sportsbook.

There's actually no means to ensure that you'll not loose money and so whether arbitrage gambling or martingale formula they present their own flaws and we should be ready to risk if we want to win rather than employ lazy mentality by applying these principles which in turn are not 100% risk free.

That is why its called, gambling or betting, because we don't really know what will be the outcome, unless you have some kind of supernatural powers that only happened in the movies.  Smiley

For me if you want to lose money then don't gamble. And for us gamblers, we have to learn to control our emotions. Its better to go out winning then losing it all in the end. So if you have won already, time to get out and not be greedy because sooner or later the casino's will swept your bankroll.
11117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Unstoppable on: August 15, 2017, 02:24:33 AM
Right now, we can say that it is unstoppable because of the conti ues price pump. But we cannot tell until when will this continue. Remember that the price and market of Bitcoin is very volatile. We still need to be very careful. It is still too early to conclude but I'm very happy on what's happening to Bitcoin right now. Smiley

Agree. Its too early to conclude so we all should be jumping for joy and celebrate every price increase that we are seeing. For me its a good indication that bitcoin can really go up more in the next coming months. Of course we can all agree that it will not remain this bullish for long, and we can see some minor blips along the way. But is a healthy sign for all of us. If there are dips, then buy so that we can all accumulate more bitcoin. Hodler's are very happy and optismistic, and wish that this trend will continue. So all I can say is that we should all ride this hype for now and enjoy it.

11119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going slowly to 40,000$ and more on: August 14, 2017, 03:44:38 AM
It is laughable that we are starting to see discussions of Bitcoin reaching "crazy" prices like $20,000 and $40,000 per coin. My initial reaction would be to think "Are you crazy?", but then I remembered that $4000 per Bitcoin was also a "crazy" price to reach early last year.

Exactly, So I think sky is now open for whatever price we are going to speculation on the price of bitcoin. John McAfee even predicted a million per pop so I don't know if that can be touch or if bitcoin can get closer to it. But what thing bitcoin proves to us many speculators is that, it really difficult to see the price of it in the future. So we better just buy and hold for long term and have faith and trust that bitcoin will moved toward to what prices we want to see it in the future. Beginning of this year no one has predicted that $4000 is possible, now we have surpassed it and going forward to $5000 as the next stop.
11120  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-13] Goldman Sachs Warns Investors Not to Ignore Bitcoin any Longer on: August 14, 2017, 03:08:15 AM
For you who don't know ; The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. is an American multinational finance company that engages in global investment banking, investment management, securities, and other financial services including asset management, mergers and acquisitions advice, prime brokerage, and securities underwriting services. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldman_Sachs
As a company which handles so much investment and asset management, then their customers and more people will pay attention to bitcoin, and surprisingly bitcoin has increase from less than $1000 in the early of this year and bitcoin has reach over $4100 today across global exchanges. The potential is limitless for bitcoin, we don't know how much bitcoin could gain if more business and companies adopt or invest in bitcoin in this year.

A think media reports like this help somewhat to push bitcoin to new levels. I mean, cash is pouring to the market right now and we don't know who and how investors just suddenly jumps into the bandwagon of bitcoin. I guess they are now preaching bitcoin to their client as well and saying that bitcoin can't be overlooked specially this year as the price grows exponentially like 300% perfect. Do you think we have to thank them? I think so, but of course them being a bank, we can't really put a lot of trust in him, just saying.
