11141  Economy / Speculation / Re: The end of bitcoin on: July 15, 2017, 07:17:52 PM
This really isn't very professional fearmongering. I was expecting something a little more subtle than this myself.

Still, I have just started crying and soon I'll be walking into the see with my G string filled with rocks.

I won't sell though.
11142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 15, 2017, 03:19:33 PM
What is it with you girlymen? This is what the price does. You got too soft with all the endless rises. It's back to business as usual for now.
11143  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money 💰💰💰 on: July 15, 2017, 02:45:33 PM
Money is the work of satan if not satan him or herself.

I've known people who threw in successful relationships to develop their careers. A career doesn't give the slightest fuck about you and will be dust one day anyway.

If people want to throw the good things in their life away for more money then so be it. I pity them and would prefer to remain poorer and happier.
11144  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHEN will BTC rise again and WHY? on: July 15, 2017, 02:41:31 PM
Dead again, huh?

There was no reason for it to rise this time. It wa carried beyond $1000 by the alt bubble.

The next rise doesn't need a reason but if there were to be one it would be down to scaling being put in place without too much rancour.

In the meantime i advocate suicide for each and every one of you.
11145  Economy / Speculation / Re: Probability of HARD FORK is 80% ! on: July 15, 2017, 02:38:23 PM
That's surprising news to everyone in the entire world. A soft fork is planned for August 1st. The supposed hard fork is November but it won't happen. Up your reading comprehension.
11146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 15, 2017, 02:36:11 PM
I have prepped my suicide device and linked it to a price ticker.
11147  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Origin of the terms First, Second & Third World on: July 15, 2017, 11:11:04 AM
Interesting. It's something I never really reflected on before. I took Third World to mean skint and nothing else.

This is a better explanation which acknowledges the origins of the term are now a bit archaic - http://www.investopedia.com/terms/t/third-world.asp
11148  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sexbots. Will you be indulging? on: July 15, 2017, 11:08:07 AM
I do not agree to the idea of sexbots. For me it is a unnatural way of having an intercourse, i prefer real people rather than a lifeless material. Just like sodomites having to have sex with a robot must not be considered by people, the only reason people want this technology is because they cannot have sex with real life people, these kind of people for me is weakminded, filthy, and immoral.

Well, it's less immoral than renting some trafficked Thai chicken for an hour or two instead.

People already fuck vacuum cleaners and stick shower attachments up their arses. I don't really see the issue myself.
11149  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-14]Law Enforcement Takes Down the Biggest Darknet Market on the Deep We on: July 14, 2017, 10:20:27 PM
I was thinking if this was the real reason for the dip in

the price lately? Can a site like this have such a big influence on the price? I doubt if Silk road had such a big impact back then.  Roll Eyes

I don't think it's like the SR days any more. I'd guess a lot more Bitcoin stays as Bitcoin rather than being cashed in or out, especially as they must be getting more paranoid about chain analysis.

A pathetic waste of the life of the guy who killed himself. All because of a sum of money.

I assume all darknet markets are effectively run by law enforcement these days anyway.
11150  Economy / Economics / Re: Rothschild: Get Ready For One World Currency By 2018 on: July 14, 2017, 09:59:02 PM
There will never be a one world currency until there's a one world government. There will never be a one world government until there's only one person, or rather shape shifting lizard, left on the entire planet.

What we should be more concerned about is the abolition of cash. That's very real, ongoing and potentially more damaging.
11151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chances for speculation? on: July 14, 2017, 09:27:16 PM
None of us would be here without it. It's the one and only driver of the price and interest. If you removed speculation from the price you'd be left with a little spare change.
11152  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: July 14, 2017, 09:24:07 PM
I'd go a little further than castration and remove their little willies too. Every time they have to sit down for a piss it'll remind them. The reoffending rate appears to be off the scale so I don't think there's much else you can do.
11153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: July 14, 2017, 04:14:39 PM
No. It's shit. You're subsidising developer and speculator greed and it guarantees a bunch of people itching to shit on you.

Release it into the wild and then judge it.
11154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So...mempool heading back into insane sizes? on: July 14, 2017, 03:54:16 PM
They spamned it to push their pet solutions. Pehaps they're having one final spam to remind us.

It's also worth noting that the price is falling so perhaps more people are using the network to move to exchanges.

Look at the mempool graph. The growth is unnatural. The times the spam happens is also directly correlated to certain agendas trying to be pushed. It's really ridiculous that they are wasting all that money, only to find out their fork is going to destroyed if they actually attempt to fork. They are literally throwing money down the toilet.

If it is miners they're just collecting their own fees so to an extent it's relatively revenue neutral.
11155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of asset tokenization? Tokenizing a house and such. on: July 14, 2017, 03:52:49 PM
Here's the thing I've always wondered - who or what enforces the link between the token and the actual asset?

I could take a million tokens for a house. If i decide the tokens do not represent the house what next? They're just irrelevant strings of numbers.

Smart contracts aren't going to do much right now though maybe in the future.
11156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy crypto or buy a mining contract? on: July 14, 2017, 03:49:30 PM
To maintain your payout a cloud miner would have to spend thousands extra to buy more machines and electricity to combat difficulty changes.

Are they going to do that? It would be dead nice of them if they did but I'll go for a no.
11157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin after 1st august = Unstoppable? on: July 14, 2017, 03:46:21 PM
The biggest threat to bitcoin is miner and corporate centralisation. Though 148 is a noble idea the money and mining grunt is in the hands of others. I don't really see how it's going to succeed myself though i hope it does. If we go full corporate I'm done with it.

11159  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-14] Bobby Lee calls for Bitcoin Regulation on: July 14, 2017, 03:35:06 PM
There will always be exchanges that ignore regulations and the insane volatility is what attracts most people.

Perhaps market regulation is inevitable for the big operations but the only thing that'll really cure it is more people and more money. You don't need to regulate for that.
11160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Retailers Turn Their Backs On Booming Bitcoin: Trade Magazine on: July 13, 2017, 10:34:02 PM
Merchant acceptance has always been a side show and will be for a long time to come. It'll be the last thing to properly fall into place. I do appreciate the possibility of spending it directly but most Bitcoin users are hoarding or trading.
