11181  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-04-24]Malta Approves National Strategy Draft to Embrace Bitcoin on: April 24, 2017, 12:38:38 PM
Looks to me that Malta wants to be a blockchain technology hub, and bitcoin adoption similar to what Japan did. They are seeing blockchain/bitcoin as a revolutionary technology and harness its potential. A lot of countries are really jumping into the bandwagon and does not want to be left out. I like the attitude of the Malta government, although they understand they need to put regulations on it, still they are willing to initiate and become a key player in the technology revolution. Hope their strategy succeed because this is another big step for being bitcoin mass adopted globally.
11182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before you begin trading read this! on: April 24, 2017, 08:30:51 AM
Yup, I realise that. Just wanted to show the beginners that the coins price can't be predicted 100% correctly and there predictions can go wrong. For sure, you can make speculations, calculative risks, etc.
More important than that though is that trading isn't a get rich quick scheme.

Cryptocurrency trading can be the most profitable form of investment, just like penny stocks.  The price goes way up and way down all the time, often even with pump and dumps and people can be drawn in by that thinking that they can get in on it too.

But the reality is that the giant swings aren't things that everyone profits from.  The experienced people profit from it, and the way that they do it is by exploiting the newbies and weak hands so that they can get more out of it, especially with things that have a low enough trading volume like cryptocurrencies.

Correct. Trading is not so easy task for everyone. You need to monitor market very closely and ready to accept some losses and sell at right time to reduce more losses but it is very hard to do it. Particularly these cryptocurrencies are not monitored by any government so big whales will play many things create fake news. Don't put more money in any one coin just try to diversify your money in many coins and wait for the right time to sell.

Obviously, in investing, diversification is a good practice. "Don't put your eggs in one basket" as they say.

As for the trading, I also think that we must all monitor the current price of bitcoin specially alt-coins because there are a lot of entities that manipulate the price behind and we don't know when are they going to dump it. And if you are a newbie, once you saw all the FUD around this forum, you will panic and sell your alt-coins. So I must say to the newbie that monitor the market and used your judgement to whether to sell or not.
11183  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi "arrested". on: April 24, 2017, 07:30:48 AM
I thought the exact whereabouts of the terrorist leader is still unknown and remains a mystery? Am I the only one not updated about it? LOL. It is said though that the Russian have arrested him, but they denied it. But I personally believed he is still alive and leading and still ordering the attacks along with his top lieutenants. And maybe still receiving private financing underground so that they can continue the war with US and other Western countries.
11184  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buy a wife with bitcoins on: April 24, 2017, 06:52:36 AM
This really don't look like an bride finder. I have seen few porn sites and dating sites that accept bitcoin for the service rendered. Buying a wife is something that has never happened till now in exchange for bitcoin. In other fiat history it has happened and few are there who have lost their virginity for huge sum of dollars.

Bride buying is an industry. So I think its possible with bitcoin as well. It has been practiced in other countries like China, India, Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries. Its has been part of their culture and tradition. So it they are accepting fiat, they might as well accept bitcoin as mode of payment. Its odd and weird, but money is money. The question is do you what if you don't like the wife you buy? You just gonna throw it all away? Lol.
11185  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Mobile application or web application? on: April 24, 2017, 06:03:27 AM
For me since their is a exponential growth of smartphones industry, I say go for mobile application. Like in our country, an average of 2 smartphone per user. And globally around 70% have smartphones. Lets be honest, most of us can't count the times sitting waiting for our computers to boot. So having our mobile apps takes out  the "wait". So you have advantage like speed, information collection and of course advertising. But you can also developed a friendly mobile website as well so you can hit two birds with one stone here.
11186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stable BitCoin on: April 24, 2017, 05:33:49 AM
First we have to understand that the price of bitcoin is dictated by supply and demand. As more and more investor/people are demanding to have bitcoin, the price of it increases because of low supply. And in 3 years time, halving with happen again so the demand will be higher because of scarcity and it will be limited. So its really hard for bitcoin to have a stable price because of those factors. Actually the price of bitcoin should be increasing in the next couple of years. So better hold on to your bitcoin Smiley
11187  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: April 24, 2017, 03:50:32 AM
They don't think in longterm, and only see that bitcoin can "collapse" in any minute.  After collapse, they start yelling "btc is dead", but we know it will recover in 1-2 years.  IMO, this pattern will be us for years, and every time somebody will stand up and say btc is dead Smiley

Haters gonna hate. But the good thing is, bitcoin has already proven time and again that it can rise from all this scenario and recover and comeback even stronger. Like what happened post-ETF, price went down after it was rejected and the market price went to three digits. Then all over the forum saying that it is dead etc, etc. That's last month only, but look at the current price now, it has recovered that we are touching the $1400 price now. So I hope people will not panic if they see the price going down because bitcoin has already proven from the past that it can recover from any roadblocks it will face in the future.
11188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost over 12 btcs gambling on dice on: April 23, 2017, 09:51:28 PM
Thats a sad year, i just lost 100% of my coins in just 4 months
tried a mix of strategy, safe ways, risky, playing just a few times per day
but results are always the same
you lose in the end
i feel cheated
its unbelievable
know
why the house always win?
And you see people saying "it happens, you can not win in a long run"
why not? why i cant win in a long run?
why we never see a casino losing and closing the doors?
why 999999999% profiles of the top gamblers are negative?  Huh
 Undecided
but you know what i like? I like when the house eat the shit back
when someone manage to find a bug and make 6-7 digits over it  Cheesy
the house cheat, thats it

Sad you see you losing such big amount gambling. You feel cheated, but nobody cheated you. Luck is not your side and only shows that no amount of strategy will work specially in long term. I've been there, not in online dice game though, but in land based casino, so I know that feeling. I hope that it will not happen to you again, consider it as lessons for you. Just don't blame yourself too much. Get over it, go out, spend time with your families so you can feel better and not stressed out.

And don't try to think that someone will hack or find a bug and get their bitcoin. It won't happened. House always win.
11189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the future of gambling on: April 23, 2017, 03:02:44 PM
The future of gambling will be better for coming years if people will really be adopting it, and online type of gambling will became more educating to old gamblers who will happened to learned this. But of course ths gamblers has the most well managed profit, and not just those who were always became losers and not skilled betters.

The future of bitcoin gambling does not correlates to bitcoin being mass adopted. Online dice casino business is already booming since accepting bitcoin as form of deposit and withdrawal. So even if not mass adopted it will still be fine. I don't know about olds gamblers learning on-line gambling contributing as well, "you can't teach a old dog with new tricks".

On-line gambling are really a booming industry its already a worldwide phenomena. And with smartphone users already increasing in numbers, it is where the most significant growth will come. I've seen poker being played online now, so poker on a smartphone will keep becoming more and more popular. And that is only one game that people love to play.
11190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Crashes in What Could Be the Begginging of a Selloff on: April 23, 2017, 11:30:09 AM
It was a rushed article. The author is in need to complete the deadline to write the article. The result is a rubbish article with no foundation. And then contradicts himself at the end. Maybe he is just creating fear amongst to pressure us(newbies) for a sell-off. And the bitcoin major signals #2 has also no basis. Bitcoin has rallied and its  almost touching $1400 now so this article is really dumbfounded for me. He should research more before writing another article.
11191  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War with North Korea postponed. on: April 23, 2017, 11:00:11 AM
Even though North Korea are not sponsors of terrorism, they are a dangerous country but I don't think placing them on the terrorism sponsoring states will have any impact, they are already a secluded nation and any embargo laid on them will just affect their citizens and not the top echelon of governance.

Forget about the embargo, North Korean's Central Governing Body doesn't care if people will suffer. And besides. North Korea has called on the nation to secure self-sufficiency now in food as the international community moves to impose stiffer sanctions on the them for its nuclear provocations

And just like I said, War will not happened. The US is highly unlikely to launch an attack on North Korea because the move could possibly escalate tensions all the way to nuclear war. And the US don't want that to happened.
11192  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: April 23, 2017, 09:02:28 AM
Gambling site is very much profitable as compare to dating site, we all know that. But if I may add to the question of OP, which do you think is much easier to get referrals? For me, getting a gambling to be your referral is much harder than getting someone to sign under you in dating site. And some dating some pay huge amount being an affiliate. I already got referrals for a dating site, but have 0 referrals for gambling.
11193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CAMBODIA adopting Blockchain Technology on: April 23, 2017, 08:31:23 AM
This is a big move by the Cambodian Government to adopt Blockchain Technology in its backyard. Although the country is considered as 3rd world, applying Blockchain will boost its financial industry and transaction. Though they are still skeptical about acceptance of bitcoin as a main stream digital currency. One thing that bother me though is how much cost developing and maintaining blockchain network? It is worth for a third world country like Cambodia to invest in such technology?

11194  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC up??? on: April 23, 2017, 07:44:44 AM
The price of bitcoins is going up as it was predicted to be .nothing will affect bitcoins, after SEC rejected bitcoins there was a panic over all and the price of bitcoins went down a lot and well now the price of bitcoins is  going up and up and soon it will reach upto 2000$.

not many of us that predict bitcoin price will be up like now and more high. we can only predict and see what will happen. and if bitcoin price is up like now and will reach more higher, then we can be happy to see this and we can start to sell our bitcoin to reach profit too. but for trader that only doing trading with btc-altcoin, then i think this time, altcoin will be in red flag and only waiting for bitcoin price gets stagnan or down so the altcoin will be up too and we can reach another profit.

Looks like bitcoin is ready to have a new ATH this year. Its almost $1400 and I think it will continue to rise. Almost all of alt-coin is green as well, so it looks like a good week for cryto-currency. I hope that trend will continue and we all love that, there will be a few dumps I believe because investors are selling to get profit. Alt-coins though are different, there are just there for pump and dump practice by some professional traders to gain money.

11195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL]How old were you when you made your first bet? on: April 23, 2017, 06:56:31 AM
I was exposed to gambling at a young age. My father was a avid gambler/sport bettor. I remember playing street kind of baccarat like 12 years old or less and I'm against an adult. They taught they could out hassle me and I even saw them cheating. HaHaHa. But they area all wrong baby!!!. I won a good amount of money, then someone whispers to me that my mom is looking for me Grin so its game over for them. My father really was a big influence and the environment during that time was ripe for street  gambling.
11196  Economy / Economics / Re: Microchip implant for Bitcoin Payments in Malls will you agree ? on: April 23, 2017, 06:25:35 AM
I don't agree with the idea of using it specially for bitcoin payment purpose. We can have our smart phones with us all the time, so if ever we want to buy something in malls or other places that accepts bitcoin, we can just use the QR code scanner and its done!!!

Microchip implant is a new technological breakthrough that's changing the way information and identification is stored and shared. Microchip implant has its purpose, but not in bitcoin technology.
11197  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-04-22]Billionaire Investor Has 10% of His Money in Bitcoin & Ether on: April 22, 2017, 04:41:09 PM
They have found a safe haven in investing in bitcoin and other crypto's. Those guys really know how to make money and putting some in crypto-currency is just another portfolio's for them. Indeed, it is wise to diversify your investments across different portfolio's, as you should not put all your eggs in one basket. I'm sure he is not the only one that have big investments in bitcoin, but there are still who haven't go out in the open yet.
11198  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: April 22, 2017, 04:01:19 PM
Since the existence of the bitcoin make trading ways change, first I must deposit with wire transfer to the bank, when the verification takes a long time because of the need to submit proof of the transfer, but after the existence of the bitcoin make deposits and withdraw becomes easier.
Bitcoin makes things easier. Now we may already know forex, but because of the bitcoin trading we can switch. Trading bitcoin into a way that most preferred traders in the world. They easily and quickly understand how bitcoin prices move well in world financial markets.
that's right, we haven't have concrete evidence yet but for sure many businessman who have knowledge about forex are also inside bitcoin
as they always finding more ways to earn money, bitcoin really give us opportunity to earn online if we understand how to play with it.

I also believe that their are big entities or whales behind forex that are moving toward the bitcoin trading scene. Bitcoin trading provides them a new arena to play with and to earn huge amount of money by manipulating the prices like what happen to alt-coins (pump and dump). Even though this practice is fraudulent, we cannot stop someone from doing it specially the whales. So we need to keep a careful eye on the market trends so that we are not left behind if there is a dump.
11199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 22, 2017, 03:28:20 PM
Chicago Bulls 87 - 104 Boston Celtics
Oklahoma City Thunder 115 - 113 Houston Rockets
Utah Jazz 106 - 111 L.A. Clippers
Milwaukee Bucks 20:00 Toronto Raptors
Atlanta Hawks 22:30 Washington Wizards

IT's nice that the thunder got a win for this series and it's evident that russ is doing everything for his team now pretty much the same as how iverson was doing for the sixers during their championship run. Though this series still is far from over, the rockets still has most things going for them. OKC management may need to find players to help russ next season if they want to move deeper in the playoffs

Another triple double for Russell Westbrook. OKC survived another big fourth quarter run by Houston to snatch a win. But I think Houston will win the series.

Even though the Clippers won and takes a 2-1 lead in the series, Blake Griffin health is in question. He suffered a bruised toe and unlikely to play in the next game. So this is a key to this series. Need other players to step up and help Chris Paul in offense to offset Griffin's absence in next game.

11200  Economy / Speculation / Re: The question is when: Bitcoin at $2000. 2017 or 2018? on: April 22, 2017, 02:46:17 PM
it falls down to 950 and then end of year 2017/ beginn 2018 2000+

Nice speculation but bitcoin will not go down to $950.

Its barely touching $1300 now but I doubt it will get to $2000 this year. I think most likely $1500 at the end of the year if the trends continue.

But here my thing on the $2000 price. To reach this, I think that USA should introduce a economic policies that could lead to inflation. And we know that if there's an inflation, the interest rate rise. Then it will create an effect where people will look for alternatives that is not to tied any Central Bank. This is what happened to China. With the devaluation of Yuan, Chinese went to bitcoin as an alternative. This is just my speculation.
