1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am going all in on litecoin and heres why on: July 11, 2015, 01:04:05 PM
Oh dear I feel for you OP, you brought at the top and 2 days later your all in is worth around 50% less   Undecided Crypto can be a cruel cruel world. Did you manage to sell over 5 and not take so big losses? Hope you did, on the bright side there was people who brought at $40+ 2 years ago and they held their bags ever since or took massive losses that make yours look small.
1122  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which operating system do you use? Windows? Linux? Mac? other? on: July 11, 2015, 12:54:43 PM
One of my computers I use Linux, Ubuntu 15.04 and another one of them I use Kali, learning the ropes. Windows is not my cup of tea with all the viruses/trojans etc that are out hunting the users down, to risky for me.
1123  Economy / Economics / Re: [POLL] Bitcoin has actually value ? on: July 11, 2015, 10:43:30 AM
Voted the most popular, have to add I never knew it was before voting.

The thing is a lot of people think paper backed by nothing has value, so it has value doesn't it.

BTC has value because it A, is worked for with time from many people and B, because people value BTC is why BTC has value to those that value it.
1124  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price will convince you that a Huge new up-move has finally started? on: July 11, 2015, 07:50:59 AM
For me personally I will be convinced that we have a big new up move finally start, when.. We stay over $350-$400 for longer than a week lol

One can only hope, although it is looking good isn't it? Been stable accumulating for quite some time now I think it is ready.

It sure feels like time for something big, but my timing has been off before.

It really does feel like it is time, any day/week now we will see what all this price holding down has been about. I can only imagine it was to accumulate as much as they could to make the pump easier and obviously make more money in the process.

As long as you are in the game it doesn't really matter about wrong timing unless you sell at $325 and we leap to $500+ that would be horrible but as long as it does not run away and you can get back in on a dip all is well that ends well.

1126  Other / Archival / Re: Unable to generate private key? on: July 10, 2015, 04:37:31 PM
Are you sure you copied the private key correctly? You can use a verification tool to verify that the private key is valid and it is in the correct format.

Would that not mean it was an invalid private key if I never copied it right? It was a correct private key just not the one I needed access to haha. Thanks for help anyway guys, This thread will now be locked as problem was solved.
1127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hey, What Do You Think The Price of Bitcoin by end of this week? on: July 09, 2015, 01:03:31 PM
By Sunday the 12th I predict it will be 298USD @ 13:00PM GMT.

To be honest with the litecoin going crazy I thought BTC would be doing the same but guess that will come after the money has been made from the LTC.

Stand by..
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whales are pumping LTC.. on: July 09, 2015, 11:33:58 AM
Are holding down btc so when they dump ltc they can pump btc.
Money everywhere.
Anyone concur?

It does look like that, the easiest way to get litecoin is by buying btc and then trading to LTC, BTC should be rising but is not and does look like it is being held down but it has seemed like this for quite some time while they accumulate. Looking forward to when LTC pump finish and we will see. I concur.
1129  Other / Archival / Re: Unable to generate private key? on: July 09, 2015, 07:42:40 AM
Not 100% it should be here so if I am wrong could you please refer me to the right section please.

I was ready to put some coin in storage but before I did I wanted to test that the private key was correct and could be sent, entered the private key into blockchain.info and it worked. I then sent a small 0.1btc test and deleted the private key from blockchain.info ready to enter private key to be 100% and then send a small amount before filling the address with a chunk of coin to store.

Now I enter the private key it is telling me "UNABLE TO GENERATE PRIVATE KEY" after i enter correct passphrase.

Could anyone tell me why I am getting this error please?

Thanks in advance.

if you want to import a private key , you dont have to "generate it" , in which walllet do you want to import this private key?

I'm not trying to "generate it" I am trying to import it to blockchain.info but when importing it is giving me the error that the title says, first time I deleted the private key and imported all worked fine. This time it is giving me that error, the 3 other addresses I created at the same time work without problem just this one address with small amount of test coin giving me problems lol

1132  Economy / Auctions / Re: Full member account for sell on: July 06, 2015, 10:18:54 AM
without a signed message available no one will pay anything near .1 BTC for a full member. if you want some bids you should lower your starting bid, and tell us weather or not you have a signed message available.

No message to sign i never posted a btc adress from it, the account was build for the purpose of being sold but the posts are in english and well structured.

If the purpose of your account is to be sold, you supposed to post atleast 1 address to prove your ownership right? Why you actually didn't post one? Or you just deleted it?

No reason to do that for a lower rank account this isnt a hero account. Lol I would hack a regular member account just so i can make 30-40$ on it?

What ever, the auction is still running anyone interested post here or pm me.

Of course there is every reason to do that (give a signed message) not only does it prove you currently rightfully own it, but it also shows you actually want to sell it and are less likely to claim it had been hacked at a later date to try and restore.

$30-$40 dollars x 200 low rank accounts easily sold with no signed message to a couple of dozen Hero accounts with no signed message, I know which I would prefer to hack with your logic.

1134  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 05, 2015, 11:49:28 AM
Alternative way how to get rich because I'm yet to see anyone selling a time machine. Find a beautiful honest woman and have a family, all the material wealth and paper can't even come close to true richness. All the things you could do with a time machine and you choose go back and mine some coins lol
1135  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: June 30, 2015, 01:09:56 PM

Where is you faint chance coming from? Even if it was a "faint chance" which it isn't, 10k a coin is a faint chance, $500-$1000 is well within reach "imo" so yes if I had a few hundred thousand laying about I would invest in a heartbeat. Not everyone wants the safer option.

I guess we're all different but that's too much money with too much risk for me. The chances of decent rises are high but even the lead developers themselves still call it an experiment.

As we've seen over the last year or more this is a market at the mercy of a tiny number of people who'll gladly take your few hundred grand and not give you any gains unless it suits their plans. That may well change. It may well not. This is all still being made up as it goes along.

If $500,000 was a very small percentage of my net worth I'd go for it. I definitely wouldn't be betting the house on it.

Yes that is the beauty of life isn't it, we are all different but we are all the same lol Don't get me wrong mate it is a stupid amount of money and I definitely don't have anywhere near that laying about to risk, I'm not fussed enough to become a millionaire as I am very happy with life as it is. I have to agree it is still an experiment even though we are years into it, but it is looking good.

That is annoying that a small amount of people have control over the market but they are if nothing else pretty obvious how they are doing it, they are sure at least once a month or every other to pump it up to mid to high 200's then back down to low to mid 200's like clockwork lol I have been making a few dollars from this but can only imagine how much could be made with 100k to play with.

But to answer again to buy 100btc and hold hoping to be a millionaire is a waste of time, let that 100btc work for you OP and who knows where it can go.

1136  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: June 30, 2015, 12:50:29 PM

You should work on not having to be a pool cleaner if you believe bitcoin is going to go to $10,000 per coin, saying that though can't knock a pool cleaner "working" outside, I will employ you also but try get some coin for yourself.

OP I doubt very much you will be a millionaire with just 100btc value 10k per coin, maybe be more realistic and 1000btc-2000btc, $500-$1000 would get you there if that is your goal or wanted.

So you'd have to spend a few hundred thousand dollars right now for the faint chance of it turning into a million in five years? Those odds aren't so great. There are safer options to expand your money.

Where is you faint chance coming from? I answered a question in a more realistic way to the dreamers.Even if it was a "faint chance" which it isn't, 10k a coin is a faint chance, $500-$1000 is well within reach "imo" so yes if I had a few hundred thousand laying about I would invest in a heartbeat. Not everyone wants the safer option.
1137  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: June 30, 2015, 12:33:33 PM
I think the answer is yes.

More importantly, you will then need a pool cleaner, and I am available!

You should work on not having to be a pool cleaner if you believe bitcoin is going to go to $10,000 per coin, saying that though can't knock a pool cleaner "working" outside, I will employ you also but try get some coin for yourself.

1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: June 30, 2015, 11:47:20 AM
That is a crazy thread you have created there OP. I very much doubt anyone has become a billionaire threw gambling, well the type of gambling you are talking about because even if they did they would end up losing it.

I do enjoy some gambling but only that which requires some skill what will give you an edge, that is why I only play poker, but now and again I do bet on the football as I'm not a newbie to football.

Over all it has done neither destroyed or fixed my life because I won't let it, just play in moderation and have fun.
1139  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do with 100Btc? on: June 30, 2015, 11:40:48 AM
If you opened your btc wallet and found a balance of 100BTC, what would you do with it?

Possession is nine tenths of the law, so they would be mine. Would I feel guilty? Yes I would and I would like to think I could come to some kind of arrangement with the sender, he has roughly 75% returned and with the rest I would trade and invest, I've got what I need so would not cash out. What would you do?
1140  Other / Politics & Society / Re: uk - thought police to criminalise "homophobic" opinions on: June 30, 2015, 11:33:08 AM
Hmm... very simple. The kids will be asked about their opinion about homosexuality. If they answer that they don’t condone sodomy, then they will be removed from their parents and given up for adoption. This methodology has been put into practice in many of the Western nations, such as Sweden, Norway, and Canada.

Name some cases where this has happened. You are a little bit extreme to say the least no doubt crackers. Your post is straight to the top of the weekly crappy awards. There will be no kids taken away for being against or disagreeing with anything, stop blowing shit out or proportion.

OP That interview with the teacher what was she thinking, you see the thing with ISIS they are against homo's and very intolerant of them Cheesy  So are a large percentage of the planet, I would not take another word she said seriously.
