Boost ProofOfWork is only until block 43200, after it it's only Proof of Stake
Still have no idea what this is lol. Will read up on it 2morow. Hey Ace I set BoostCoin to end Proof of Work mining at block 43200, which is about 4 weeks after launch, after that block mining will not be possible. Then only Proof of Stake blocks can be generated, which will generate interest on your existing coin balance in your wallet Hope this explains things a bit better

considering suprnova.cc pool is only finding block on average ever 3-5 mins, and the diff is up at 10. Where else is BoostCoin being pumped from?
Im not aware of any other pools being up and solo mining won't get many blocks with that difficulty
Any ideas?
Nethash is 1 GH/s and only 500 mh/s are on suprnova... so there is probably a private pool or something.. The fact the net is up at 1GH/s makes me smile

HI everyone
I'm actively working on the Killercoin POS project which (If successful) will be an upgrade from the current wallet. Your existing coins will still be valid for a period of time where you can still PoW mine the coin , then the coin will turn into a 100% PoS coin..
That is the idea anyway!
If i cant get the PoS implementation working with the current block chain i will abandon the PoS idea and continue to support KC in it's current format
Hope this gives you some idea of what is happening behind the scene
Thanks M

Dev should consider giveaways coins to person who wasted hashpower before relaunch.

The OSX wallet keeps hanging on me after every few hours and I have to force quit it. Is this issue known?
I get the same. It happens while the blocks are updating, for example if your Mac has been asleep for a few hours, then it happens while the wallet is catching up. but then become responsive again.
