1121  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which Wallet Do you Use ??? on: March 06, 2016, 11:40:18 PM
Due to the fact I'm having a pretty good amount of bitcoins, I'm holding them in a paper wallet.
I think its one of the best methods to keep your bitcoins safe so you won't get a target of hackers.
If you have a low amount of bitcoins you can store them on Blockchain, because Blockchain is good but only for low amounts of bitcoin, be sure to keep in mind and you will always need to keep you wallet very safe by as a example use multiple ways to secure you wallet.
1122  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is going back to $400 on: March 06, 2016, 11:28:58 PM
Price right now is in critical and i think sooner the price will be back again below 370.. this is good news for traders. that they can buy again bitcoin for the low price..

I don't see the price going back to 370. There is much buy support and what you can see is the price came back very quickly after meeting up with the dump yesterday.
For now 400 is very stable.

400 is a solid point. It seems to me the price will float around this price for some time. I really hope it goes up to maybe 450 but
here at 400 it's a good and stable price.

its a good stable price, but I think the price can go to a higher stabler amount of you ask me.
thinking its just a matter of time before its gonna rise to a higher amount and we will see this for sure in the future.
In about a year it will go to a stabler amount, something near the amount of 500 dollar in my opinion.
1123  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = 1000$ in 2016 on: March 06, 2016, 10:56:17 PM
I guess this recent sell-off will bring a bit of reality to all the hot heads from this topic. $1000 is very unrealistic this year, unless we have really positive, fundamental developments. Based on halving alone we won't make it!

Very unrealistic. If you look at the current value 400 the price would go have to times 2.5 > 250% which is just to big. I for one am aiming for a price around the 500 dollar.
Will make sure to have some sell orders ready.
To me, $500-600 is the maximum price range we can achieve, based on halving only. If there are no other fundamental events around this time, e.g., final agreement on block size, etc., there will be plenty disappointed holders wanting to get rid of their bitcoins quickly. the rest you may write yourself...

In my opinion the amount of 1000 dollar can be reached easy this year due to the halving that is coming.
I think its just a matter of time the halving will let the bitcoin price jump, I'm very sure of that.
Although it will maybe for a moment it will hit this amount the point is to sell it than on the right time of course.
1124  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: March 06, 2016, 10:50:28 PM
Yes its good to invest in the bitcoin these days, also because of the halving that is coming its good and of course due to the fact the bitcoin is growing these days.
If you invest in the bitcoin you will make profit in the future for sure.
Also if you talking in a long term and you want to hold them for a long term you should hold them for 10 years, you will make profit for sure, but keep in mind its risky because the bitcoin can collapse for sure.
1125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: March 06, 2016, 10:44:38 PM
Yes, I'm holding my bitcoins for a price increase, I also trade my bitcoins once in a couple months.
The  halving is coming so the bitcoin has a really good future a head if you ask me.
Also due to the fact the bitcoin is growing very fast its get more popular and more stores are accepting it nowadays.
1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: March 06, 2016, 04:41:07 PM
You can of course earn a lot of bitcoins by gambling, but it depends on a lot factors when you are gambling.
One of the most important is of course that you will need a lot of luck to win a lot of bitcoins in a online casino.
Another one is that you will need to invest a lot of money to gain a lot of money when you gamble so that is another thing that you have to keep in mind.

Overall you can win a lot of money by gambling (10k easy) but it really depends if the gambling gods are giving you some luck.
1127  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: March 06, 2016, 04:20:47 PM
If there is a need of physical money with high profit, user needs to sell the Bitcoins. The reason is that I personally think Bitcoin price will increase only after halving.

Well after the little dump today i am not worried. The tendency is that the price goes up and down often. But the outlook is positive.
So i do expect it to bounce back.
Well i suggest that its better to wait a little more time maybe the price will decrease back to 370.. after reaching that price its time to buy again and wait again for the price will be increase...
Its not smart now to do it. And that is not good for your money if you are now going to sell it. The value is not even that high.
We all hope that the value will rise for a long time and that we can sell it with a huge profit in the future.

That's true, holding at a moment is the smart move to make, as the price not too high, you cannot earn good profits at a moment, but if you hold for few months, then you can expect a higher profit.
Its not smart now to sell your coins at this moment. The value is not that good to sell it so you wont get that much profit of it.
I hope that more people will sell it later in the future with profit, that is very good. Patience is very important.

You are right, its not good to sell your bitcoins right now due to the halving that is coming this year.
You will most likely gonna make profit if you just hold your bitcoins for a long time if you ask me.
Also due to the bitcoin community is growing, the future is getting better by day, more people are investing in it also.
1128  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: March 06, 2016, 02:54:43 PM
There should be no limit as to how much budget would you need on your retirement, remember, when you are retiring, it means that those that you save in forms of investment, savings, and insurances would be your only source before we die, so it won't be good if we die poor..

true, no limit, but your life is limited  Cheesy .
if you can life simply, i think 50BItcoin is enough for retire in 20years. it all depends on how you can life in your retirement.

Yeah, depends on what life you are looking for after retirement, also depends on your country you are living in, I think to live good and lavish retirement life 100 btc would be more then enough.

If you live in a western country you need more retirement funds then if you live in asia or africa. My goal is set to have a 200k pension fund, which means the amount of bitcoins i need is significant. But i feel confident the price will catch up because of inflation and potential.

You will need a lot of funds, but its also the fact will the bitcoin even exist if you are gonna retire, I think it will take a lot time to get this amount.
Also the point is that you will need to invest a lot of money to gain a lot of bitcoins these days.
Maybe the halving will help you but not to such a high amount if you ask me, I think it will be a long journey for you to gain so much bitcoins to gain such a amount.
1129  Other / Off-topic / Re: The craziest shit you can buy with bitcoins right now? on: March 06, 2016, 02:44:19 PM
There's a website that sells an island for a lot of bitcoin.

I forgot the web name, but if you searched well enough you can find it.
Wow that's some big amount of bitcoins you need. I thought the most expensive thing listed was a house.
But a complete island? I guess you need to cash out a lot of bitcoins to buy that.

I think we are past the stage of really crazy things for bitcoin already.
I've purchased a boat 2 years ago with bitcoin, I just got lucky with that one since the guy knew of it and accepted it for the trade.

Saw someone bought a Tesla with bitcoin: http://money.cnn.com/2013/12/06/autos/tesla-bitcoin/

Private flights into space: http://www.space.com/23732-virgin-galactic-bitcoin-spaceflight-payments.html

Property: http://www.wsj.com/articles/lake-tahoe-property-sells-for-1-6-million-in-bitcoins-1407534997

Not to mention the pizza that was bought for 15,000 bitcoins back in the day...

I want to see non crazy things, like gas stations accepting bitcoin at the pump. The only thing close to that is using Gyft to buy Walmart cards and buying their gas.

Indeed, just the normal useful stuff that most people buy daily, like food for your family or something.
I think this will attract a lot of people if someone is gonna start a local supermarket that is accepting the bitcoin.
If as a example the wallmart steps in, a lot of other big company's will step in also because they do not want to lose from the competition.
1130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: March 06, 2016, 02:37:28 PM
Yes gambling can be profitable in a long term, but its also the point of you want to consider this because of the fact that its, not a very good thing to make profit.
Due to the point gambling is very risky and you can lose a lot of money because of that fact.
Also if you think about the people that are getting addicted and lose everything I do not think its worth it.
1131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin go to $500 on: March 06, 2016, 02:26:46 PM
nope at this moment, to make it $500, you need to wait until the bitcoin block reward halves.
I do not think so. By this end of March itself we may see bitcoin prices reaching $500 prices. By halving we can expect prices to go above $1000 price levels too.

No mate that's not possible, I think the value of bitcoin before the halving would be below $500 and after halving we can expect that the value goes above $500, but $1k that's impossible in this year I guess.

It will be hard to get to 500 dollar before the halving. We've seen so much resistance that i don't expect this to happen at al.
At most we can maybe reach to  450 USD.

You are right that is gonna be hard, but its possible for sure if you ask me, the point is that people are believing again in the bitcoin.
Look at the numbers of the people that are investing again this year, that is already a good sign.
Also the point that everyday the bitcoin community is growing is a point and also a sign the 500 dollar is in or hand reach.
1132  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: March 06, 2016, 02:10:41 PM
For the beginners that start using the bitcoin is pretty good if you ask me, to learn a lot by buying bitcoins.
Also if you do it for a long term you will learn a lot by investing and patience with stockings in my opinion.
Just a little tip keep your bitcoin in a good secured wallet that is the first thing you need to do when you start buying bitcoins.
1133  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: March 06, 2016, 02:01:39 PM
Well I think a match of both is the best thing you can have of course, but due to the fact the bitcoin wallet is for me a real option.

Due to the point the bitcoin wallets is way more secured than a bank if you ask me, also there are more options to store your bitcoins that what I also like about it.
Also controlling your own money feels much safer, no one is looking at your wallet to control you and the transactions indeed take a lot of time at my bank.
1134  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Burger King Accepts Bitcoin on: March 03, 2016, 11:17:58 PM
Its really good that its accepting the bitcoin, I hope more burger kings in all kind of country's will follow, I think this is also a bit of a test if it works they will introduce it to other burger kings.
Also the fact that the Netherlands is also a leading country's if you talk about the bitcoin stores they are having.
I think they will be one of the first that are gonna accept the bitcoins for more things online and in real life.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: March 03, 2016, 11:05:28 PM
Gambling can be wrong, but I think in most cases its not wrong because you can make a lot of profit with it.
Some people think its wrong because they think its a waste of time, but there are also people that win a lot of money in a hour, it just depends on luck.

And some persons can be very unlucky, which leads to addiction and you end up in a hole. Gambling is bad, you just have to control yourself.

You are right, gambling is bad if you cannot control yourself, the people that cannot control themselves get addicted.
Because of gambling can be highly addicted its wrong for most people, for some people it can be very good of course but that is because they have luck sometimes.
I think if you have had luck you should not try it for the second time but you will most likely lose your amount that you won...
1136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go to US$800+ on: March 03, 2016, 10:59:13 PM
it's very posible at this year , in my opinion :
if the reward mining of bitcoin (after halving) = 25/2 (12,5)
it's very posible the bitcoin price = current price x 2 ($800-$1000)

it's Just IMO  Cheesy

Yeah its quiet possible by the end of this year as halving will give us some good price and it is expected that the price would be much higher by the year end, so bitcoin reaching this value is quiet optimistic.

prices will not necessarily go up in one or two months after block halving maybe after 1-2year's
Im sure we will reach $1000 again

I'm sure we will reach the 1k no doubt about that, I even think we will hit a larger amount soon or later.
This year the bitcoin can go to 1k easily if the halving will be as planned there will no doubt from me that the price will go to a high amount.

I also think it will reach a high amount this year but its always risky so be careful if you invest because the bitcoin is unpredictable.
The 800 dollar can be reached easily so that is true of course, the bitcoin has a great future.
Due to the halving that is coming is most likely that the amount is gonna get over the 800 dollar and get stable on a higher amount then now, something near the 600 dollar.
1137  Economy / Economics / Re: Shall I hold or invest with %12.5 premium per year ? on: March 03, 2016, 10:54:33 PM
I think investing is very good to do these days, and with your 12,5 % its pretty sweet if you ask me.
Also due to the fact you are doing this yearly you can have a good overview what is going to happen in a year right ?
You are doing a good thing if you doing it on this way, and there is a big chance you will make a lot of profit at the end of your journey.
1138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: March 03, 2016, 10:46:23 PM
Dollar and bitcoin can both coexist together and I think they can be very fine together. Dollar and BTC are the new signal for the new economical system for both of them covering online and offline field.

You can be right. The dollar and other fiat has paper cash, so that they can be used in the place without network.

Yeah those 2 are totally different. Bitcoin needs a electricity and internet. Fiat can be used everywhere. Even in small villages. And best of all.
Everybody accepts fiat.
They are both very different indeed, but in the future they can be the same if you think about that.
If you think about the fact everything is gonna be digital in the future, they can be the same at some time.
It will of course take some time till they the fiat is 100% digital but it will happen in my opinion.
1139  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How do I find bitcoin accepted ebay sellers? on: March 03, 2016, 10:39:56 PM
The are a couple things you can do to find eBay accept sellers, I think its gonna be difficult but they are out there of course.

You should just search on google to find them, but they also need the item you want of course.
Searching on eBay itself is also possible but requires luck because I did not find real accepted bitcoin sellers at all.
The last thing you can try out, is using some kind of agent for people that want to pay for you with real money for bitcoins on eBay.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: March 03, 2016, 10:31:30 PM
Gambling is addicted because of many reason, the most are in this forum but I think the most that are addicted are because of this reasons.

1. People are getting blind because they see money they can win and they want to win a large amount.
2. They lose a lot of money at the first place and want to win their lost money back to make profit.
3. People think gambling can be fast and easy money and they want to try it out, they stay gambling till they win but then they already lost a lot.
