1122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: guide on 100% safe paper wallet? on: January 23, 2015, 06:47:16 PM
theres no such thing as 100% safe, but closest you can get is make a standard paper wallet and keep it locked up in a safe

1124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin investment on: January 23, 2015, 06:23:06 PM
just holding bitcoin and waiting for price to rise can be an investment, cloud mining is a scam, dont bother.
1125  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: XBT Jackpot - Free 10mBTC on: January 23, 2015, 06:11:28 PM
Site is amazing with great graphics, but withdraws take too long to process. If withdraw wait time was shortened id play on this site a lot more
1126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fully synced but BTC is not showing up. Lost? on: January 23, 2015, 06:03:53 PM

1127  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CLOUD MINING - Myth or reality ? on: January 23, 2015, 05:27:04 PM
Hashnest and cex is trustable but nor profitable
others is profitable but you cant trust  Roll Eyes

they might be trustable in the sense that they wont get "hacked" and run off with funds, but they arent exactly profitable.
1128  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♦ ♣ Birwo Casino ♥ ♠ Provably Fair - No Deposit Bonus - 100% 1st Deposit Bonus on: January 23, 2015, 03:19:30 PM

1129  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I put zero fee & it's still unconfirmed after 66 solved blocks on: January 23, 2015, 07:14:40 AM
Your own fault for being so stingy with the tx fee
Next time, 10k satoshis

people are so stingy they wont even pay 0.02 usd for a transaction, at least lower the fee if youre patient enough to wait a bit longer, but 0 is going a bit far
1130  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How did I solve 1 Block this quick? on: January 23, 2015, 07:10:32 AM
There are some non-math mofos in here.  2.6 Terahash and the current prediction is one block every 6 years?  At 2.6 TRILLION calculations per second?

This is an insane level of difficulty.  Why even bother if this is as good as it can be?

Sure, anyone COULD hit 10 blocks in one day, even with a miner much smaller than 1 Terahash, each calculation is just guessing a number and if that number has enough leading zeroes, you win.  It is just very unlikely to actually happen.

I got out of mining and I am happy I did.  For all the work and cost it required and for what little gain I got, it just wasn't worth it anymore.

I run my home PC repair business on the side, though, and EVERY computer I work on gets checked for coin wallets.  And if I ever find one, it's MINE!  I just hope the owner didn't password protect it!

That sounds illegal. Also cold and careless. What gives you the right to take someone elses property and currency for yourself?

pretty sure it is illegal to take the data, but I dont think anyone keeping a substantial amount of bitcoin would ever take their computer to a repair shop without taking the necessary precautions, hopefully
1131  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is a Bitcoin mining virus, more powerful than mining farms? on: January 23, 2015, 07:00:19 AM
youd have to infect an insane number of systems for this to produce any substantial income, and the idea isnt new; ESEA for counter strike had a scandal where their client was mining bitcoins while running on peoples machines, and this was back when gpu mining was viable too
1132  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: payment from hashprofit thread on: January 23, 2015, 06:48:54 AM
i saw my payment made today, guess they deserve some credibility, even though its been a month or something
1133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I put zero fee & it's still unconfirmed after 66 solved blocks on: January 23, 2015, 06:20:33 AM
thats what happens when you dont give a transaction fee, theres no incentive for anyone to process your transaction
1134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin startup GAW Miners reportedly under SEC investigation on: January 23, 2015, 06:14:09 AM
hopefully GAW gets slapped with a ludicrous fine at the least; theyve done too much to give bitcoin a negative light in public
1135  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 100XBTC.COM SCAM SITE not pay!!! on: January 21, 2015, 02:09:23 PM
they claim to give you 100x your investment in a day or something, whatd you expect...
1136  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CLOUD MINING - Myth or reality ? on: January 21, 2015, 05:21:47 AM
why would people sell you their hashing power if they could make more mining on their own?
they wont, so they charge you to rent their hash power and they make more money to reinvest in more mining equipment.
1137  Economy / Gambling / Re: GUARANTEED 2.90% Return on NitrogenSports right now, ZERO RISK GUARANTEED on: January 21, 2015, 05:15:36 AM
not worth without a substantial investment, but if its guaranteed, might be worth a shot for 1 BTC+
1138  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [New Round] SwiftPonzi - The Fastest 130% Ponzi Alive! on: January 21, 2015, 03:24:41 AM
why do these keep popping up
more importantly why do people still send money to these
1139  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Earn 25% Profit in 1 Week: Round 1 on: January 21, 2015, 02:55:38 AM

1140  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: can u help me to find best pool on: January 21, 2015, 02:03:13 AM
dont mine with a gpu, youll lose more in electricity costs than youll ever earn and will shorten the life of your gpu
