Derby game with a lot yellow cards if you ask me. Without Ibrahimovic i dont wanna bet on ML, for me this will be tight hame with draw results and both side are happy. Avoid this match and bet on cards Smiley Good luck to all!

But then again there's an argument that if Rashford was the striker it could also benefit United.  Ibrahimovic hasn't been making goals lately and it really falls short of that is expected of him.  This is a good opportunity to test other Rashford out there and see what he can do since he's more effective in the striker role.

In order to try and suppress rises in bitcoin the elites have no sophisticated futures market and paper derivatives able to drag the price around so they have to actually sell real bitcoins to suppreess the price or resort to mope in the media, eg china bans bitconi again.

Just my theory Smiley

The funny thing is if Wall Street starts to create Bitcoin based financial instruments and derivatives, as a side effect, it will legitimize Bitcoin as a mainstream investment.  It would also benefit the Bitcoin whales which Wall Street are avoiding to make them, the Bitcoin whales, even richer.  It will also benefit the dark markets because their preferred currency is now well recognized.

Check out REP/BTC, that could be another good short as BTC goes up and up vs fiat.  I wish Cryptrader gets back online soon so I could post the chart and my thought process.

Edit:  I had a couple PM's asking where to short REP.  Kraken is the only exchange where you can do it.  I would prefer Poloniex though becuase of the familiar interface.  But Kraken would do if you figure out their platform.

BTC/USD:  Unable to Break the 750 USD Barrier

Is that how high BTC could get?  Maybe how high it can get for the time being...?  Traders seem to sell their bags at 740 to the 750 USD level for some reason, so the question is have we seen the current top at this stage and must sell some in order to buy back at lower prices?  It peaked at around the same level months ago right before the Bitfinex hack occurred.

Until it breaches beyond 760 -770 USD or so then I would likely think it's gonna start trading in a range from the lower 600's to the 750 level for a couple of months or so.

What do you guys think?
11245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: November 18, 2016, 05:53:01 AM
Think I might get a few quid on PSG

You know what, I'll follow you on this bet.  Unai Emery has won the Europa League three years in a row, so it shows that he's good in competing with this type of format.  With a bit of luck on the draw at the KO stages and the quarters, they could go in the semis easy.  There's also the "lagging behind" the league factor.  The minute it's practically impossible for them to win Ligue 1, they would put all their focus on the CL.  It's a good bet imho.
Good luck with that, tokeweed. Their chance is pretty good with a nice odds @27 and with their current squads, they deserve to win UCL. But instead of them, I prefer Man City. No team could beat Barcelona and scoring 3 goals against them in last few seasons except Man City lol. The only teams I support in Champions League are just Real Madrid and the team(s) that beat Barcelona Grin.

Haha.  Grin  Betting on City is a given, just like you betting on Real.  Anyway I was tempted with the PSG bet so I decided to bet small and see how it goes.  Unai Emery can pull another rabbit out of the hat here since he's so good with the tournament format.  I'm hoping for PSG to lose points at Ligue 1 so they will concentrate on the CL more.  Their squad is good enough to pull it off.
11246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 18, 2016, 05:43:43 AM
Manchester United vs Arsenal - I think this match will be the new beginning for Red Devils and the end of brilliant form for Arsenal, Sanchez and Bellerin out. Injuries season in Arsenal begins always in November. They should do something with that. EVERY season it's the same story, wrong trainings and physical preperation or just bad luck?

Imho this will be another draw as Mourinho will park the bus once again vs an aggressive, high pressing, attacking team.  Mourinho is Wenger's kryptonite but if there's a time to win against him, it's in this weekend's match.

I don't think Sanchez is out.  Please post a link where it says he is.  Thanks.
11247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Speculation Thread (Charts and Analysis Included ;)) on: November 18, 2016, 05:32:29 AM
I can't see your post on REP/BTC, can you please paste the link. But I will like to ask where do you project that the BTC bull run would end

As I said, I'll make an analysis later if needed.  I'm still in the sidelines as far as REP/BTC is concerned.  With BTC, my answer is I don't know.  I never believed in market prediction much and have never set profit taking targets or anything of that sort.  What I do as set a trailing stoploss to protect my gains but not close enough to stop me out of the trade.

I have a BTC speculation thread if you're interested:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1670362.0

And I wanted to make a Waves analysis as the current trend up seems to be waning.  Too bad Cryptrader is down so I won't be able to do that.  Please suggest me a crypto charting website and I'll do my analysis there.  Thanks.

Who wins the world championship F1:

Rosberg  at quote@1.20
Hamilton at quote@4.50

Rosberg win if:

-He finished first, second or third
-He finished  fourth, fifth, sixth or seventh but Hamilton does not come first
-He finished  eighth while Hamilton comes from third place down
-He finished  ninth or tenth while Hamilton from fourth place down
-If Hamilton finishes the fifth place down

Hamilton win if:

-He comes first and Rosberg comes from fourth place down
-He comes second and Rosberg comes from seventh place down
-He finished third and Rosberg comes from ninth place down
-He finished  fourth and Rosberg no points

The only chance Hamilton gets the championship is to win the race and hope for the two Red Bulls to finish second and third.  I just don't see that happening, and at 4.50 odds, the bookies are fleecing and skinning you alive.  Make that line around 10 and I would make that bet all day.  But who says the sports books wants to be skinned alive.  Grin

But who knows, stuff happens and this could be one of the most exciting come backs in all of F1's history.  Still not making that bet though.

he will most likely go to Newcastle I read something that he has option to go to Newcastle or Celtic yes even to back to Liverpool but with klopp as coach he wont play that much
If Gerrard really back to Europe, I dont think he will play in any Premier League team except Liverpool. Yeah we know his chance to play with Liverpool again is pretty low, since Klopp prefers younger players to play on the pitch. Glasgow Celtic is the good option for him, because this team playing in Champions League regularly in every season.

Pretty much this.  Gerrard is so loyal to Liverpool that he has rejected big money deals going to Man United and Real Madrid in the past.  I can understand rejecting the Man United offer but rejecting Real?  Lol that's really something.

But then again who knows, he has already shown and proved that he's loyal but he was let go by Liverpool, so maybe in his mind he's free to go wherever he pleases.  If so then I wish he would go to Newcastle.  Watching him play every week at the EPL under Benitez would be such a welcome proposition for the fans.
11254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is Gambling Like Investing on: November 17, 2016, 06:51:40 AM
I'm not a fan of gambling by itself, but instead as a way of studying and learning about other things.  For instance, I'm sure that if elderly people kept playing card games, it would help keep their minds alert.  Studying poker involves studying human nature and probabilities.   There are other aspects like studying risk in gambling, which is like studying risk in investing.

Does anyone have any examples of how gambling is like investing?

I guess this applies more to sports betting.  When you invest you always look for a lower price as a bargain to increase your profit and to decrease your loss.  So it's the buy low, sell high mantra that you always hear from the traders and investors around here.  In sports betting, it's almost the same thing when you shop around for good lines.  In one sports book some lines offer higher odds compared to others, so you have room to size your bet a bit smaller and win a slightly higher amount at the same time.  And there's also the instance where you bet and the line moves in favor of you by going lower. It means you got in the bet cheap.  While the reverse makes you in the bet at a bad price.

At least that's how I look at it.
11255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mr. Lox Sports Picks: Guaranteed to Make Money (or you get 110% back)! on: November 17, 2016, 06:43:03 AM
Not sure if your service will attracts people because there are already a lot of people who gave their daily prediction in sports betting by FREE! is  there any different your picks and with other picks?

Carles Puyol has been giving his picks for free since April and has run a .5 BTC stake into 2.32 BTC or something around that amount.  That's not a bad feat considering he's been betting only 2% - 5% of his stake everytime.  Yeah I know he could be at the right side of variance, but still, he's winning and that's all that matters.  It also shows that he's been doing something right.
11256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 17, 2016, 06:39:11 AM
Mane can be as good as suarez if he wants, i doubt it will happen as african players have historically lacked the mental approach to stay at the top level for long periods.  Only can think of george weah and drogba.

Mane is an explosive type of player and unlike suarez he is more of a winger style than a striker. If you want to compare him then compare him to neymar, I doubt that he will be as good as neymar however he has similar style to neymar. He might be as good as him though he has the potential to be one

Yup exactly.  Mane turned out to be a good transfer for Liverpool as I remember a lot of people here were skeptical and even outright declared that he will fail.  Now I'm wondering what the football fans here think if the 30m GBP transfer of Mane.  Is it still overpriced or worth every penny?  And has he even reached his potential so far?  I think he's only going to get better and better under Klopp.  He has the likings of a future legend.
11257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: England Championship Prediction Thread... on: November 17, 2016, 06:29:09 AM
every weeks Newcastle has showing steady performance and yesterday they resuming again the winning results against Cardiff although the league still pretty far to ended but i think Benitez will bringing Newcastle back again to EPL however another team Aston Villa finally after several draw results from the previous match and yesterday they could able to win

Now Newcastle United is more strong side into that league and it has more better chance to make comeback into EPL with this constant performance, it's helping a lot to make easy money betting on it because it is unstoppable there and will win this trophy.
i was wondering that when Newcastle still playing on Premier league why Benitez came late i mean if he wasn't late maybe Newcastle won't playing on championship league because since he be the manager of this team Newcastle playing better rather than the previous manager

That's arguable but the important thing is they are looking to go through and will get promoted next season.  Now we have another elite manager added in the EPL which will make things even more exciting.  I hope either Wenger doesn't retire or he gets replaced by a good and upcoming manager like Thomas Tuchel of Dortmund so that we'll have all these great managers in one league.  I can see NUFC battle for a Europa League place right off the bat right after getting promoted.

NXT/BTC:  Has the Accumulation Phase Begun?

[img]https://i.imgur.com/fyKZ5cx.png[/img

Here's what most traders of cryptocurrencies want to keep quiet about:  When their favorite coins/tokens are in a phase of accumulation.  Cheesy

They don't want it to be prematurely pumped before they have filled their bags as they want to gain the maximum profit (in BTC) possible that they can take from the market.  As for the chart, please notice the last red spikes in volume.  Imho, that's the last of the big sell downs and it's highly possible that there will be none as large as that anymore.  So it's probably safe to start accumulating some NXT now.

Please comment below.

I am personnaly in, and watching the comment below of jacafbiz makes me even more bullish. but I don't have crystal ball, only the future will tell.

EDIT: but still monitoring that closely, don't want to get affected by a bitcoin bullrun.

Yeah that's the thing.  The equation has changed because BTC is still rising to who knows how high.  So it might be better to hold everything in BTC right now or short sell some altcoins as mentioned in this thread.  REP/BTC is looking more and more ripe for the picking for shorting, I will keep monitoring it and will do an analysis if need me.  GL.
11259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: November 16, 2016, 07:47:26 AM
I don't usually watch the international games but wow did England suck.  Leading 2 - 0 for the whole match only to see it go away at the last 3 or so minutes of the match.  What is it with them?  They have a squad of good players and yet they, for lack of a better word, suck.  It hurts to watch it.
11260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 16, 2016, 07:38:17 AM
They sure do have a lot of 'stars' in their squad and the manager himself is a big star.  But their form as of late has been so abysmal and their 'star' players' performance so average that I can imagine Jose Mourinho getting a quote from a Tom Cruise movie but is actually looking like this...

Jose mourinho is the reason that the team is not complete. He lacks of strategy, to be honest I dont really likes how he handle the team. He relies more on defensive and counterattack strategy while manchester united's team squad is not really suitable to use that kind of strategy

I agree with some of what you're saying but blaming Mourinho entirely for United's demise is totally not correct imho.  There's already something with the club on why it has been under-performing since Ferguson left.  As I have said over and over in this thread, what United needs is to suck it up and accept the fact that their era is gone.  From there they can make a total revamp of the team and start from scratch.  It would be easier for a manager to work with a new set of players than working with the sickness of the present one.
