11241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ViaBTC scammed me for 9 BCH on: August 03, 2017, 10:08:54 AM
Is there any exchange yet that can allow a wallet creation? Or rather, address generation for deposit? Right now I tried Bittrex but the wallet is still in maintenance and I don't want to trade in viabtc unless it's my last choice.
11242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin has the most real life usage? on: August 03, 2017, 09:59:04 AM
There are few coins that is designed for real world usage for example patientory, humaniq and few new project's coins

Many designed with proposed real world usage, but none actually put to permanent real world use. Humaniq wants to bank the poor unbanked of Africa and India with mobile phone face recognition. Really?
11243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH diff. bomb activated today, -10% for miners, profit for invest.? on: August 02, 2017, 11:46:48 AM
I was just wondering what caused this sudden 10% price jump. But then, this news isn't going to be known by most ETH people, unless you are saying it's just miners driving the price up to replace "lost money".
11244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin is not a good investment anymore (Read more) on: August 02, 2017, 11:10:17 AM
Look, it's crocozino again. @OP your casino withdrawals all ended up being double spends that never confirmed. Support tickets were never answered. Looks like you are back. What are you doing about all those problems at your casino?
11245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: where to mine BCC?? on: August 02, 2017, 10:39:19 AM
Are you already mining BTC and you just want to switch over? You know it is going to be just as expensive to mine and reward value is much less? But anyway, go and support it.

Here is the pool for via: https://pool.viabtc.com/

Here is Roger Ver's offer to help you mine BCC: https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-com-pool-members-now-have-the-option-to-mine-bitcoin-cash/
11246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Aug 1 summary on: August 02, 2017, 09:47:48 AM
The signs are promising for Bitcoin, it survived this first hurdle and in fact strengthened. BCC is suddenly not as scary as Bitcoin Unlimited used to be and everything has fallen into place. Now, we can probably safely get past November.
11247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin for B2B Education ecosystem - believe in it's future? on: August 02, 2017, 07:39:30 AM
It is a very conservative system, and with Bitcoin difficult enough to adopt, I worry altcoin would gain too little traction for you. If you offer an alternative - that is, offer normal payments but offer discounted alt payments that would be the way to go. Or if you don't want to harm the price, throw in free courses or packages for payments for altcoins.
11248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of BCC ?? Speculation of BCC on: August 02, 2017, 06:54:07 AM
(…)

People on here are so stuck in price speculation it seems as if fundamentals have no meaning. If BCC performs better than BTC as an actual currency, then it renders the politics meaningless.

I'm not sure about that. There are dozens of Altcoins already existing, which have better stats than Bitcoin: faster blocktimes, more TPS and so on. Litecoin for example implemented segwit and could have been adopted as the new go-to cryptocurrency. It didn't, and others didn't as well.

It's easy to forget that outside of this forum and outside of BCC forums... nobody cares about the politics. Actually, so few people even know about it. Just read the main media and how they talk about this and every other trader is shaking their head. And the tech is the same story: people outside the alt community don't know or care.
11249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCC is now BCH? on: August 02, 2017, 05:56:35 AM
Officially (according to the creators) it is BCC but it is listed as BCH on exchanges that already use BCC for other alts - but as mentioned BitcoinCash will replaced BCC as it seems to have bigger demand and bigger volume. Poor BitConnect Tongue
11250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to make Money from ETH [ H 40 ETH ] on: August 02, 2017, 05:41:01 AM
If you believe in ETH, then hold (for years). The price will continue to increase. A drop from $400 to $200 isn't much really, when you think it's not so long ago that ETH was $10. No coin rises continuously without ever falling back. Plus the reason for the recent drop was much more because of bitcoin than anything else, and it affected the whole market.

Good advice for almost any of the more serious alts. They're all in good, reasonable entry prices now - even ETH. It's very likely to reach its ATH again so if you get in now, you stand to make double if you are patient. If you want to gamble, use cheap eth to buy even cheaper ICO tokens. There are so many of them around. But not recommended as investment!

So... did anyone get any dividends from Masternodes? It was 1 August today. Checked the website and Masternode sections but didn't notice anything different. Care to share, my rich BROsters? Make us happy.
11252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: A PUMP THAT PAYS YOU WHEN YOU HYPE COINS on: August 01, 2017, 10:15:37 AM
WHALES always manage to do that to us. They pump the prices high and we buy in at a high. If we can harness the power of the masses, identify good coins to speculate and hype it together and get rich together, why not?

Because... as you notice yourself, pumps are not sustainable. The only aim is to make money, not to really increase value of the alt. The whales do it to you, and you want to group together... like a crowdwhale, and do it to others. If you're okay with the wrongness of that, then okay and wish you the best.
11253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin are you holding for Aug 1 on: August 01, 2017, 09:46:16 AM
I didn't trade any BTC to alts. I'll never do that! But I have no issue earning other alts or exchanging some loose BTC on exchanges for alts over the months (to save on transfer or when I don't have enough for minimum WD).

As a result, my alt holdings: ETH Doge Dash
11254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Keep track of your portfolio on: August 01, 2017, 09:27:12 AM
Thanks for sharing. I must have tried so many already but after a while each seems to get outdated or slow loading. I understand the feeds from hundreds will always mean slow pages but I honestly hate waiting for everything to load with each page.
11255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS ICO SCAM 👺👺👺 Wow! Can you believe this? 👺👺👺 on: August 01, 2017, 06:45:06 AM
Most of the critics aginst EOS coin is relevant to 99% of the rest ico's. Lets check how long scam hyps last... well around 3-4 monts right?! So it is too early to  decide.
Beside this the team looks serious, the conception regarding business is applyable,  the technology behind seems promosing and they got the best code of several coins.
The last is, if you don't like it buy fitness brecelet like this you will know that there are 263 steps to pastry.

The thing is, it will be a 1-year wait AT LEAST to decide if EOS is a scam. We are talking about hundreds of days of ICO, raking in the money. The team is serious... so? Dogecoin team was not serious but it proved more viable than 90% of alts. The technology behind it? EOS is a proven clone of its dev's previous project with the codes only changing the name of the files (github).
11256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why buy WAVES? on: August 01, 2017, 06:32:53 AM
Well, first ETH got so much movement in value because of all the ETH tokens from ICOs. I am beginning to see a few more WAVES platform tokens than usual. Perhaps once it catches on, it will move towards ATH again, but will take a while and more slippage I think.
11257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS ICO SCAM 👺👺👺 Wow! Can you believe this? 👺👺👺 on: July 31, 2017, 07:36:57 AM
The worst thing about EOS is that as it keeps getting "lower" it keeps looking attractive to new investors, since the belief is that it can recover. So there's more money poured into it, helping sustain the pumps on a daily basis, and allowing the founders to reap their riches patiently.
11258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: competitive hedge funds on: July 30, 2017, 06:29:55 PM

I don't see this as a threat at all simply because of the fact that the crypto space is so large

I'm not speaking of crypto projects, rather the trading of the cryptocurrencies.  What's taking place at the present time in the latter is child's play compared to the traditional financial markets.  When enough well funded hedge funds with highly skilled algo programmers and traders invade the crypto space, the competition will become an entirely different space than what now exists.  Read up on HFT and you'll get an inkling.

My question to Target Fund managers is what makes them think they can compete with some of the participants mentioned in the Forbes article?  Some of those guys are heavyweights.

Hey, the team at Target Coin has a combined experience of over 20+ years in investing and trading.

Our team has also managed a $25 Mn hedge fund focused on equities and forex and have generated 38% YoY returns.

About Forbes article, they are more focused on long-term investments in promising cryptos with a heavy 50% performance fee.

And Forbes is writing an article on us too soon. Smiley

Forbes is a big name, but their own performance and rating is beginning to be questionable these days. Remember they featured a lot of dead scams already. But still, being featured is a good thing and brings recognition. Looking forward to seeing it.

Think we really need to be listed on another exchange very badly. CryptoDAO is not responsive for one, the volume there is too thin for another. Also, I did my captcha yesterday more than 3 times... and only checked today to see that there was no activity.
11260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Monaco (MCO) on: July 30, 2017, 05:45:56 PM
Don't be thinking that this low price is good entry, especially when it is below ICO. Good entry is when the cards start to come and you see a change of pace, more updates, less excuses. Don't give more money to this thing until it proves itself.
