Is it just a coincidence Malaysia Flight MH370 disappearance now MH17 shot down?

Yes, I think so.
Is always fun to develop some kind of conspiracy theory but in this case I see just  coincidence and nothing else.
of course we can judge Malaysia air official why they didn't change the plane route but also other air companies used the same route previous days without any problem.
I guess really bad luck for this air company, 2 horrible accidents this year.

True love is the kind of love that makes you and another feel good even if you stay together forever. It is the kind of love that makes you feel good, even though you just stay together, live together, watch together, talk together, feel things together and listen together.
11304  Economy / Economics / Re: Recession and Bitcoin on: July 19, 2014, 01:15:14 PM
Bitcoin has yet to go through a period of recession of the global economy.  How the price of Bitcoin reacts could have major implications for the question of "Store of Value".

Bitcoin is still not mainstream, so I don't think that we can apply usual recession rules here.
I think nobody can predict what happen with bitcoin in the case of recession.
Each scenario is possible.
11305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the US government gain control of Bitcoin? on: July 19, 2014, 12:56:08 PM
This has been eating at me so I figured I would ask you all what you think about this. I don't know if this has been talked about before and if so Im sorry.

We all know the government is actively watching bitcoin emerge as a legitimate currency source. I'm sure they are in talks about it behind closed doors. Which we would know to lead to think tanks about regulation. What if the government was planning to mine a large portion of the coin themselves. Im not talking about buying a room full of 6th miners. Im talking about them using something like these NSA datacenters. Building their own high tech hardware that would put our best miners to shame. Would it be possible for the government to miner a large enough portion of the wealth that they would hold  controlling interest?

Yes, I'm afraid this is possible that they may think about this but it's really question what they will accomplish with this.
Bitcoin users don't like any government control at all so if such scenario happen they will just move to other virtual currency.
In this scenario, US government will just waste their resources and accomplish nothing.

WOW
Congratulation for so many great ideas how tto promote Bitcoin in the public.
We really need successful promo ideas which can help us to become mainstream.
When merchants start to accepting bitcoin as method of payment we will make breakthrough.

11312  Other / Off-topic / Re: Share something inspiring on: July 18, 2014, 09:35:06 AM
I moved to a different town with my mom about two years ago. I infact had an idea what I was doing here, thought it was very very useless and that at the first opportunity I got I'd hop on a bus back home, where I belong. I soon discovered it's not that simple.

When I came here, I had problems with the teachers, with the children and with my parents. I was living in the same house as my dad for the first time in my life. I hated him so, so much. He's the reason my mom came here in the first place and she (and he) was treating me like garbage. I thought it my dad's fault, which it was.

But in being here....I found something else. I picked up a book and started reading and write the . I picked up a pen and started writing articles on essay writing service out of my own for the first time in my entire life because where I used to live, writing is for weird people and reading was for stupid people. I found what I want to do with my life.

Living here I learned things, began seeing things from a different perspective. I've learned to accept things and to be ope to change, but at the same time to stand by my choices. I found myself. I found out who I am- not a fancy snobby A-grade kid, not a silly girl with high ponies and not a helpless victim. I've found I'm a quiet person that can speak up for myself and listen, I'm a mature person for my age and I'm not what everyone wants me to be and I'm fine with that.

I found out I'm a writer.

Very inspirational testimony Mythili Iyer, thank you for sharing it with us.
Hope more inspirational testimonies are on the way! Smiley

Nice one! We can sit and wait for merchants to accept bitcoin but then it will take forever.

A lot merchants don't know much about bitcoin, beside hearing that it reached $1000 mark, or the mtgox tragedy in the news.
Good idea to tell them how safe it is, and also how easy. If they like it, they will use it Smiley

Yes, I agree with this.
If we want that Bitcoin become mainstream this will happen when people will be able to use Bitcoin to buy different services and products, like air tickets, computers, TV...
but this will not happen overnight.
We will need top introduce bitcoin to many merchants, explain to them what is the benefit for accepting it and slowly but gradually we will see some progress.
Of course, just talking is not enough, someone have to go out and do ''hard work''.
11314  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would it benefit the community if larger charities accepted bitcoin? on: July 18, 2014, 08:58:18 AM
Would it benefit the community if larger charities accepted bitcoin?

I'm sure that we will benefit from it.
In fact, as the list of companies, charities, and others which accept Bitcoin, grow, Bitcoin will more and more become mainstream and more accepted in the public.

Share something inspiring, a little wisdom, a nice experience, anything ...
I'll start first.

The more love we have the happier we become. Love is such that once it is in our hand; we never want to let it go. The source of life cannot be governed by human will. Only true love can influence our motivation, our course, or the end of our life. Human beings were born of love, so they must live for love and even die for love at the end of their lives.
11316  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Malaysian Plane 'Shot Down With 295 On Board' in UKRAINE on: July 17, 2014, 08:58:15 PM
Regional supremacy is a bit different than "want land", they want to keep their sphere of influence, not Ukraine itself. In a way they want to be Ukraine's bully.

Yes, I agree with this thinking.
In fact, I think that Putin was to restore old Russian kingdom (or USSR) and scare all neighboring countries by showing what will happen to them if they try to separate from Russia and join EU or NATO.
11317  Other / Off-topic / Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. WTF? on: July 17, 2014, 08:06:02 PM
I really feel sorry for this innocent people in the plane.
Rest in peace.
War in Eastern Ukraine just went to the higher dimension.
I can't believe that somebody is ready to do something like this for his own benefit, doesn't matter who is guilty.

11318  Other / Off-topic / Re: FIFA World Cup 2014!!! on: July 17, 2014, 07:23:33 PM
Talking about Europe, I've heard this is the first time a European country wins in America. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, this is true.
Until now only Europeans teams win World cups in Europe and South American teams in America.
Only Brazil could break this tradition in 1958 in Sweden and now Germany in Brazil.
11319  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Church of England to allow female bishops on: July 16, 2014, 07:59:57 PM
I think that this is very good decision by Church of England.
I think that there are many aspects in everyday life where women pastor can understand and help more than male pastor like family life, children problem, supporting young single mothers etc.
I hope other churches will follow this as well.

11320  Other / Off-topic / Re: What you don't like ? on: July 16, 2014, 07:46:31 PM
People who hate others and are negative, politicians in general, criminals etc.
I don't like people who don't care about others, selfish people...
I better stop now Smiley
