11321  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible for us to hack some gambling sites? on: May 15, 2017, 05:42:38 PM
This is applicable to the casino owners, you should not be dealing with those people that you are not familiar with when it comes to the involvement of your gambling site. They are prone to getting attacked but if you will be able to have higher security and you are willing to invest bigger amount on it, that's better.

well lets face it, even the cia is prone to hacking so for really good hackers, gambling sites won't be much of a problem even if they have good security. that's the reason why  the emergence of anonymous gambling through btc is a lot more preferable these days.

Hackers have their very own expertise, I don't know if they where able to hack some site if they have background about it but I admit that there are few very good hackers that are doing this. But I know most of those great hackers are using their skills for making a website's security higher. And of course, professional casino's are ready for it.
Yes there is no doubt about this, they have the ability to hack the government sites that are too much protected, so it is very easy to them to hack a simple gambling site. As we already have so many examples, even big big exchange have been hack, like bifinex, therefore to me I think a casino site can also hack by the hackers.

Yes. Hackers did hack exchangers and the latest in a Korean' s exchangers. But I think on line casino are harder to crack then a exchangers but they could possibly hacked it of course. Maybe one of this days when the hackers decided to target a casino site to hack they would definitely do it for money.
11322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 211: Miocic vs Dos Santos info and Prediction Thread on: May 15, 2017, 05:38:08 PM
I am yet to watch all the fights as the telecast i was watching was interrupted many times,Dos Santos came with a good game plan as he was kicking the legs of Miocic real hard and it looked like Miocic was hurt and i really thought that JDS will win the fight but Miocic started connecting really well and knocked him out with a beautiful right hand in the first round.
Poor Yair Rodriguez got his ass kicked real bad by Frankie,it was a brutal fight and i want to see how this loss will affect his future fights.

The Question: What Was the UFC Thinking Feeding Yair Rodriguez to Frankie Edgar?

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2709622-the-question-what-was-the-ufc-thinking-feeding-yair-rodriguez-to-frankie-edgar

A few points raise in the article. Nice read though. Just thought of sharing to you guys.
11323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 15, 2017, 05:27:44 PM
The western and Eastern conference finals will commence soon. The first game will be Golden State warriors vs San Antonio Spurs at warriors home. Hoping that Spurs will win the series.

I'm surprised you go for San Antonio Spurs even Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard is out of the game because of injuries  Honestly I thought Golden State Warriors will win with +5 lead but it's only 2 lead win by the Golden State Warriors. I don't know some of the people here saying that Zacha P. intentionally injured Kahwi Leonard.
just watch the news and kawhi already stated that he didn't think that zacha intentionally hit him to have that injury perhaps he believed that it was an honest accident if kawhi will not play this coming game two we will see the domination of gsw for sure and handicap will be the best thing to bet with personally i will go with gsw even i'm a fan of spurs but being a gambler i always look for advantage.

Of course Kahwi Leonard will not tell that he was intentionally hit by Zacha because he try to be a good sport. But from the looks of it, and in opinion, Zacha did intentionally try to harm Leonard. There are a lot of dirty players out there who will do intentionally hit the star player of the opposing team to gain advantage.
11324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 213: Bisping vs GSP Info and Prediction Thread on: May 15, 2017, 05:24:03 PM
@thejaytiesto i do not think that there is much of a big difference in size and if you look at their reach GSP is having a 76 inch reach while Anderson Silva have a slight reach advantage of 77.5 inch and GSP walks around 190 to 200 pounds and Anderson is also not a very huge person, but one thing is sure GSP wont fight Romero has he is a really huge specimen.

Its too late now to see those 2 fighting. They should have fought when both are still in their prime in UFC. Fans have lost interest now, specially on Anderson Silva's antics. If they fought like 4 or 5 years ago, that would be huge then. But if they fought on their prime, Anderson Silva will surely win.

What a performance by Edgar. It was a total domination. Rodriguez didn't know what to do. He took Yair's back and throw elbows after elbows. That cause Rodriguez eye to swell. Yair will have nightmares of Frankie Edgar. While Miocic performance is expressive as well. Congrats to both.

11328  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-04-26] DCEBrief - SEC Agrees to Review Decision Rejecting Winklevoss ETF on: May 14, 2017, 05:54:57 PM

WHEN THE DECISION WILL BE MADE?

thanks

“On March 24, 2017, pursuant to Rule 430 of the Rules of Practice, BZX filed a petition for review of the Disapproval Order. Pursuant to Rule 431 of the Rules of Practice, BZX’s petition for review of the Disapproval Order is granted. Further, the Commission hereby establishes that any party to the action or other person may file a written statement in support of or in opposition to the Disapproval Order on or before May 15, 2017.”

So I guess after May 15, 2017 they will release their decision whether Coin ETF will be accepted or rejected (most likely).

Unfortunately, it is going to take longer than that - May 15th is the last day that anyone can submit a written statement to show their support for or against approving the ETF.

I don't have high hopes for a status change of this ETF review anyway...

You are probably right - nothing has changed in the reasons that made them say no the first time.  Sad

Ok thanks for pointing that out. I think after May 15th, we have to wait more? Months maybe? Oh well, I think SEC will rejected it a second time around. If we are lucky and it was approved, they for sure more cash will flow into the system that will push the price to rise going forward.
11329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker strategy! on: May 14, 2017, 05:50:31 PM
In my viewpoint, It's not like dice game or spin game that all you need is to be lucky on that day. Poker game is absolutely a mind game. You do have the ability to read your opponent card or to look by there expression where you can see if it's a green light or red light. Keep calm, head straight, and think properly so that you have a win win situation.

Yes, you should be emotionless. But I watched Daniel Negreanu make some amazing reads on his opponents even though they are stone cold. I guess it comes with experience on how to read your opponent and make decision if it is a go or fold.

Spurs vs. Gsw will be a great match up i'm looking forward to see who will rise to them

We get the long awaited Spurs-Warriors matchup we've been waiting to see. Gregg Popovich is really a brilliant coach because of the so many adjustments he made to protect the pick and roll for James Harden. We will see how he should adjust against Step and Klay.
11332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How are purchases done so fast? on: May 12, 2017, 06:06:41 PM
It has been my experience that bitcoin transactions take anywhere from ten minutes to a few hours to confirm. How is it that when I buy something using bitcoin the system seems to accept my payment immediately?  Is the system just seeing the unconfirmed transaction and calling it good or do these payment systems have some way of instantly confirming the transactions?
You want to have fast transaction, I guess the only solution there is to pay high transaction fee every time you make one, because we are having big volume of users now, it prioritize those who have high fee. Also as the bitcoin price is increasing the fee is also increasing and these days you may have to pay 1$ as a Tx fee for the transactions.

Yeah. Just pay higher transaction fee and your transaction can be confirmed in the next block. You just have to wait like a few minutes before intended receiver get their bitcoin. I don't know why people are still complaining. Wallet like Electrum can help you adjust the transaction fee or just used the default setting.
11333  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC ETF SEC APPROVED on MAY 15th on: May 12, 2017, 06:00:12 PM
I hope Sec will reject one time again, current price rise has nothing with EFT.It is all about technology improvement

Uh.... The ETF will be a welcome tool for institutions to let their millions (potentially billions) flow into Bitcoin -- aside from the low chances of it being approved on second shot, how can you hope that it will be rejected? Also, mind explaining what "technology improvement(s)" you are talking about? As it is, the technological improvement (SegWit) that basically everyone is waiting for, is still far away from being activated. Current growth is the result of mainly the increased overall demand, demand from Japan, speculation about the ETF, etc.

So true. This 2 are the major factors why the price is bitcoin is moving so fast now. But we all know that if ETF is reject there will be panic again and the price could be down. So let's just not worry about the ETF and just let other positive news influence its price after the reject. Japan and other countries had already invested so much on bitcoin and even the ETF rejection will not let those investors just abandon bitcoin ecosystem.
11334  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: May 12, 2017, 05:54:31 PM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

Many people store there bitcoins because they think that bitcoins price could increase someday. Do not invest all your bitcoins you need to learn to save it just for a while because you will be more satisfied if you see that bitcoins price will increase.

In addition, please invest only what you can afford. If you try to invest more than you can, sooner or later you are going to sell it because you needed money. Yes, the possibility to profit huge is there, but you have to remember that it is a investment and it should be for long term. If you invest money that you can't afford, chances are you going to sell it immediately if you needed the money.
11335  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's Next Direction 2017 Predictions on: May 11, 2017, 06:47:14 PM
I can see the price in the $ 3000 range, but without a solution for slow confirmations and high fees, I don't see the price staying in that range for long.

Yes. $3000 is possible this year, but what might pull this thing to happen is the scaling issue that is still unresolved. Confirmation and the high fees will shy away some buying bitcoin. Some are even buying alt coins now because of the existing problem. I hope after the litecoin segwit activation, bitcoin will be next so that the price will really be mooning in the next couple of months or so.
11336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: May 11, 2017, 06:35:46 PM
Gambling problem leads to addiction, selling property or pawning property. Can also affects focus to important matters in life. Such as time to family, business or work, it would also affect your personality such creating detractors and criticism. Help can also be affected because you might lose proper or normal rest.
yeah people should really careful when decide to gamble , they have to know that gambling required a mature action. responsible on what you have done no matter it was lost or a winning. unfortunately most people ignore this and ended up with a lot of problem that they can't deal with. stressful, full of disappointed that could lead into a suicide etc.

Exactly. We should really think hard before making our first bet. We have to understand that it may lead to addiction. So we need to be responsible if we want to enter gambling. Just play gambling for fun or enjoyment only so that you will not be lured into the world of addiction in gambling that will sometimes lead to a lost of lives.
11337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australia moving forward on: May 11, 2017, 04:28:21 PM
It's such a great big news! I hope more country will follow australia, japan and other countries. It will be even better if my country accept and support digital currencies. That way maybe bitcoin will be more useful for me. But now i wonder, will this affect bitcoin's price? Like increasing soon?

Of course this will have a positive impact to the bitcoin ecosystem. Specially that now Australia is on board, we will see the price mooning in the next couple of months. More investors from Australia will joining in and buy bitcoin in the market that will help push the price of bitcoin to new ATH in the future.
11338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Klitschko vs Josua Info and predictions on: May 10, 2017, 06:00:26 PM
Looks like Anthony Joshua could happen.

If Klitschko doesn't take advantage of the "rematch clause" in his contract, anyhow.

Right now I'm thinking Canelo will beat GGG.

Still need to watch more of GGG's fights to get a better idea of how good he is.

I have to disagree with you @Hydrogen. I think GGG will beat Canelo. GGG is a true Middleweight and one of the hardest puncher now in boxing. Although his 2 last fight of wasn't impressive as compare to his other fights, still GGG is too powerful for Canelo. I think the fight between the 2 is already scheduled for Sept this year and Canelo will be just resting a few weeks then continue his training. I don't know if this is a good move for him but for me GGG is more tougher opponent than Julio Cezar Chavez. I'm so excited and I can't wait to see this fight!!!

I also think GGG will beat Canelo Alvarez. Canelo Alvarez is too small for a big guy like triple G. He is a natural 170 LBS guy, he's got a solid chin, he got the reach and height advantage and most importantly, he got the skill to use his physical advantage in his favor.

I think Canelo is going to get KO'd in less than 10 rounds.

I don't know if GGG can KO Canelo Alvarez but I think GGG will win the fight. I agree with you, GGG is too big for Canelo. I think Canelo can go as high as 170 lbs fully re-hydrated during fight night. But GGG will weight more than that for sure. But too much Mexican pride here, he will not back out of this fight even though we all know that he will lose.
11339  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-05-09] Bitcoin Price Hits $1750 as Trade Volumes Continue to Soar on: May 10, 2017, 05:53:07 PM
We need to be alarm if there is a panic selling that is going to happen soon. But I think the price of bitcoin looks pretty solid to me. If there is such panic, and the price fall, it has the ability to recover because the Japanese influence is still there because they have adopted it.
11340  Economy / Economics / Re: Why 21BTC seems to be the target of anyone?? on: May 10, 2017, 05:30:57 PM
And if ever you hold 21 btc, then you are part of the wealthy elite. So its gonna be a raise for a lot of people to have 21 btc in your wallet. But for me, its not realistic goal for me. I'm will be more happy if I just can get 1 full sweep in my wallet. That could be an accomplishment for me.
