1141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin broke $13k today on: October 25, 2020, 09:23:06 AM
That was a good indication for Bitcoin the $13K barrier was already breached and I think $14K is the next easy target hopefully, According to the latest trend, I think Paypal's decision to accept crypto-currency in their platform was also contributed to the Bitcoin price trend today and I hope the price will go up more in the following days and even more exciting to see the Bitcoin price return to its previous all-time high. how I wish?Cheesy
1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple considering moving to UK on: October 24, 2020, 06:58:44 AM
I think it is the right decision for Ripple to move out the company from the U.S. because the regulatory pressure from U.S. SEC is getting worst, for that matter, I think the US SEC has already highlighted its anti-crypto sentiments especially for those who do not agree with their decision, Since Brad Garlinghouse was criticizing the U.S. SEC actions thats why the company (Ripple) was targeted now, In that case, it is better to move out now and settled somewhere else that has crypto-friendly regulations.
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Tether (USDT) be really called decentralized cryptocurrency? on: October 24, 2020, 05:55:42 AM
I think Tether has both with a centralized and part decentralized function, But due to its larger USDT circulation Im already doubting that if it was really backed with $fiat (USD) with I is to 1 ratio, Because most of the fiat backed stablecoins has not more that 100 Million total supply thats why Tether should clarify that issue on their part because until it wasnt clear the doubt will still remain.
1144  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC can reach $ 20000 after PayPal, Venmo accept payments in BTC, ETH? on: October 24, 2020, 05:40:00 AM
Following PayPal information, Venmo allows payment of its services in BTC, ETH and a few other tokens, the price of BTC has increased sharply, sometimes surpassing $ 13,000 and is still holding at $ 12900. But why is the market reacting so positively?  BTC can reach $ 20000 after PayPal, Venmo accept payments in BTC, ETH?

IMHO, I believe that Paypal acceptance of cryptocurrency as a mode of payments will have some positive effects on the Bitcoin and Ethereum price, As we see it the Bitcoin and Ether price was dramatically increased, But regarding the $20K BTC price speculation I think it's not possible for now because the market trend is not that active to drive the Bitcoin price up to that level even in the year-end.
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fastest blockchain? on: October 23, 2020, 09:18:04 AM
Base on my previous experiences there's a lot of claims that were hanging around and say's that they possessed the fastest blockchain in the industry, But according to TECTUM Blockchain creator "they are the fastest blockchain because they already reach the 1 million TPS" and it is very far from Bitcoin's 4.6 TPS, Ethereum's 15 TPS, Ripple's 1700 TPS and even with EOS 50,000 TPS, if it's true base on that claim Tectum Blockchain, is the fastest.

1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which instant crypto exchange is the safest? on: October 23, 2020, 08:27:08 AM
I think it is not appropriate to call any DEX or CEX as the safest crypto exchange, Because we don't know yet how strong the security of each platform, But at some point, there is advantage and disadvantage for both Decentralized and Centralized exchange setups, for that reason, I will set aside my judgment because I'm using it both "Uniswap and Binance" all I can say is both are doing well.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops Confusion on: October 22, 2020, 08:58:13 AM
"In the cryptocurrency world, airdrop refers to a procedure through which a blockchain project distributes a free coin or tokens to the wallets of active members of the blockchain community"

That was the meaning of a "cryptocurrency airdrop" According to Google, so thats true it is confusing because if you are going to fulfill any task in exchange for tokens thats not called "free tokens" anymore because you already fulfilled the task thats why you paid with tokens. IMO, it's more like a Bounty payment in exchange for your work or simple task that you've done. I believe that the true airdrop was the UNISWAP UNI token airdrop because you didn't do anything and then you can claim the 400 UNI tokens for free because using the UNISWAP DEX is a normal thing to do so it is not considered as a task.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal customers will be able to use BTC, ETH and other cryptos to pay merchants on: October 22, 2020, 08:23:35 AM
this really great news for crypto world
PayPal has been granted a first of its kind conditional Bitlicense by the New York State Department of Financial Services and will begin enabling its 346 million users to to buy, hold and sell cryptocurrency directly from their PayPal account from early next year.
you can read the full article here
https://www.finextra.com/newsarticle/36795/paypal-to-support-cryptocurrency-across-it-consumer-and-merchant-network

does this mean we near with the bull trend on crypto market ?

That was a great development for the crypto industry because finally, Paypal has accepted cryptocurrency as payments, And because of that, the potential of cryptocurrency base payments will be highlighted. I hope those other Paypal-like services will also following the trend so that crypto adoption will continue to flourish in different places and countries globally and the bullish trend will eventually follow later.
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I feel sorry for the EMIREX bounty hunters $20 for 9 months of waiting on: October 21, 2020, 12:08:05 PM
That was the new normal for being a bounty hunter nowadays, Actually not only with Emirex (EMRX) but to many other bounty campaigns in this forum the team wants to delay the bounty payments for many months, and when distribution time arrives the token has no value anymore and our work is totally wasted and vaporized that's why don't just easily pick and join with the bounties most of it are useless.
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: October 21, 2020, 11:41:54 AM
I think the cryptocurrencies with the lowest transaction fees, are TRON(TRX) and Ripple (XRP) with the average transaction fees of $0.0000901 for TRON and $0.0037 for Ripple, Both are quite fast and lower fees thats why when I used to withdraw in exchange I will convert first into XRP and send it to my local wallet app so that I can use it to pay my bills, for my shopping and many more. Thats why XRP and TRX are suitable for payments solution because it was faster and lower transaction fees.
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap isn't safe for newbies who don't want to learn on: October 20, 2020, 12:26:42 PM
Yes, that was a good observation mate, And thats true, if your a newbie and then you want to invest in a new project it is better to check and compare it not just base on CMC data but also on other platforms like Coingecko and other cryptocurrency data and insight service providers. Because CMC has already changed a lot. I don't know what happens in CMC, but before I thought that they would not list any cryptocurrency coin/token without any appropriate volume from the two or more crypto exchanges but nowadays, I think its already change.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of Defi hype! Time to invest in real business with real products? on: October 20, 2020, 11:46:32 AM
End of Defi hype! Time to invest in real business with real products?

Gas prices at 6 months low!!

DEFI hype investment hypes are over! it is really a time to invest in a real business with real products!
I agree with that observation mate, and I think the Defi crazed is already subsided and leaving huge losses to those who ride it without taking precautions, and we can see it in the social media post particularly on Twitter investors are regretting, for me that was a part of the crypto reality thats why take extra precaution next time when you riding on any crypto hype, By the way, let us get back into business with the real crypto projects that have a use case and real product to offer.
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time that there will be no new altcoin projects anymore on: October 19, 2020, 12:04:18 PM
IMHO, I think it's not gonna happen because if we look at the trend deeper, new projects are also contributed by making the crypto market busy, Most of the top-ranking cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and some others are also benefited from this new projects because when you purchased those tokens you need to buy a Bitcoin or Ethereum, to participate in that new project's token sale. so with that observation, I presume that new projects and token creation will continue beyond further.
1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many bitcoins are there in DeFi? on: October 19, 2020, 11:30:02 AM
Mate, you can't blame other people by calling Defi projects a scam, Because most of them are indeed a scam, and just riding the hype and popularity of Decentralized Finance or Defi, Only a few Defi projects are legit and we can easily recognize it. But I don't understand why most of the investors are not considering that fact instead they are just ignoring it and continue to speculate on fake Defi projects without any products and use case to show. thats why if the promised profitability is too high you should start to ask yourself if it was achievable and the rest will be your decision.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strictly for those who have ears on: October 18, 2020, 04:01:29 PM
Thanks for exposing this potential red flags with those projects that you mentioned, Even me I also notice that most of the so-called new Defi projects have used the same name or just fork from the existing platform particularly the name Yearn, the most common name in the new Defi projects, Aside from that project team is anonymous, no whitepaper no roadmap and many more, for me that was quite suspicious so it's better to avoid that projects for the sake of your own funds.
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feels like we are going ICO round 2 all over again on: October 18, 2020, 03:31:59 PM
I believe that the Defi craze today has a slightly different from the ICO craze before, Because the ICO craze in 2017 is far larger than of today's Defi hypes combine inputs, But I agree that it was the same method is used to attract people to invest in the Defi projects just like the ICO projects before, It happens today just like the old times.
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Token on: October 17, 2020, 02:56:43 PM
Are there scam tokens in UNISWAP?

Who saw before?

How do you describe them?

I think there is because UNISWAP is a DEX or a Decentralized exchange, thats why you better checked those tokens smart-contract first before you trade or buy any tokens because in a DEX platform everyone can add an Ethereum base token by just using the smart-contract, unlike in Centralized Exchange liked Binance, Okex, etc., that you cant just add your token or coin there without proper listing procedures.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why FOMO isn't as bad as people make it seem. on: October 17, 2020, 02:44:09 PM
Mate, I'm a little bit confused with the Thread title, But it's okay I can handle it, by the way, let me take my opinion about it, FOMO means "Fear of missing out", in reality, the FOMO in the crypto Industry brings some bad for others, and bring some good for the others also, But there was no FOMO that begins with the lower bottom as you said, All FOMO events are driven the coin/token price upward, because of the fake demand created by FOMO from unsuspecting investors/buyers. that was my opinion.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will UNISWAP become a centralized exchange? on: October 15, 2020, 10:25:00 AM
Given the latest hype news from Uniswap, is it possible that in the new management scheme there will be risks of centralization and possible absorption by big people?
For example, the Dharma Corporation may well exert pressure and control over Uniswap.
I think only time can tell because in the crypto industry there is no guarantee to be exact forever, some reasons are the government intervention and regulation issues, etc, just like what happened in some decentralized exchange before, that has been adopting the centralized way because of the government pressures things like that might happen along the way thats why UNISWAP has no guarantee to be an exact DEX forever.
1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Graph or Persistence on: October 14, 2020, 10:02:05 AM

And with that labelling, what I thought of quickly is about an ICO. But if they don't want to be called like that, ok I won't say that anymore.
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/the-graph/
AFAIK the only people who can invest in the graph was the accredit investors. The graph was also having a very strict KYC and AML as the main requirement to get the qualified investors too.
It's not all of people will be able to participated in the sale or give their contribution.

Even CMC has already listed the graph when the ico is not yet started. What a big surprise.  Cheesy
If that's the case The Graph project is much interesting, thats, why I want to learn more about it, by the way, Is there any information about the sale and how much is the price of the graph token because in CMC the information is just limited so it is not helpful at all.
