Dune reference spotted.  That movie had an interesting premise, and a great video game series developed around it, but much like the book, was a little bit too long for me to make it all the way through it. I do remember that Sting was in it. Read all of six of the Dune series books and enjoyed them immensely even though yes they were a bit long. Can say they influenced my life a good bit and helped prepare me to become a Bitcoiner as I quickly saw the parallels of Paul Muad'Dib's Jihad against the entire galaxy in the books and our own holy war against bankers and the financial system.
