@aliceHortrex
Hey thanks for posting this anyway. Despite my criticism of the article I appreciate you taking the time out to post a link to this.    Smiley

No problem) Sometimes it's hard to find common interest with bitcointalk users, but I'm trying to do my best and to provide the content which will be good. That's the least I can do for the community  Cheesy

At least the article is good and that's fine, something wrong happend to the source link, here it is :http://live.wsj.com/video/what-is-bitcoin-and-what-does-its-future-hold/7BA7FD49-E796-49D4-BE86-B4DC8DAE9FF1.html#!7BA7FD49-E796-49D4-BE86-B4DC8DAE9FF1. It worked couple of hours before, someone forgot to add it to the article.
Don't know what else to add, we always check the sources, but this time something went wrong.  Sad
1154  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-04-17] Bitcoin Foundation says “DA!” to Russia - Bitcoin in Russia on: April 17, 2014, 03:12:00 PM
I don't know how much successful they can be, when the Russia’s Prosecutor General has issued the following statement:

Quote
Systems for anonymous payments and cyber currencies that have gained considerable circulation — including the most well-known, Bitcoin — are money substitutes and cannot be used by individuals or legal entities.

As I've heard, in Russia things are always changing, day after day, so I suppose that we can make any conclusion only in a long-term. Also there is Bitcoin Conference in Russia on 23th April, sp I don't think that everything is so bad as we use to think.

Are you ready for Apocalypse?  Cheesy

http://cointelegraph.com/post/make_your_own_survival_kit_with_bitcoin#.U050A_l_tqU

By the way, what are your plans if it happened?

Depends on what kind of Apocalypse it is.

If it is Zombie attack, I'll sell all my BTC
If it is Aliens, I'll sell all my BTC
If it is a Comet, I'll sell all my BTC
If it is ...   what-da-fuck-am-I-doin'?

Noo! Smiley Do not do that indeed! You need to hodl Smiley perhaps Aliens are using Bitcoin - you can trade.
Zombie - maybe not really know about Bitcoin - then you hodl and fight Zombies and buy a gun with a Bitcoin.

If comet will hit us Smiley there will be nothing to sell and nothing to buy.
Smiley

All wrong. If either Zombie or Aliens attack dump all your Bitcoin immediately. The sudden price drop will cause them to panic sell their own holdings which you then scoop for cheap $$$. Then you can enslave them, because you have all the Bitcoins and they'll not have enough funds to finance their war or even to fund their way home...

ya.ya.yo!

AND THE WINNER IS...YA-YA-YO!! Congrads, dude, you are the smartest one)
1158  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-04-17] Bitcoin Friendly Marijuana Vending Machines in Colorado on: April 17, 2014, 12:12:08 PM
This will be great. Now no federal agents can track and harass normal marijuana buyers. But I wonder how many confirmations are given out before marijuana is given out. I just hope it is on Zero confirmations.

I have no idea about the confirmations right now, but maybe later we will hopefully have a video how it works, who knows?
